Just strolling around the Ponyville outskirts, Nick Hawkri hears a distress call. What follows is a terrible fight, that leaves Nick with a dying mare and her baby daughter at hands.
As tragic as events are, the poor mare passes away, leaving her daughter to Nick. Orphaning is not an option, and he decides to raise the foal. But how will he be able to compensate for her losses? And will he ever get home?
