This is the tale of a unicorn who is yet to realize his destiny. Lightning and Rain live in a now shielded Ponyville after the defeat of their beloved princess Celestia by the hands of Nightmare Moon. But the sudden appearance of a powerful and huge foe that breaks through the shield, and their peaceful lives, and Sparkle, a unicorn raised outside of the shield who can use magic to battle the monsters, has shattered their daily routine. They attack the enemy with a strange stone called an 'Element' that Lightning found whilst plowing the fields. Their momentum drives them through the shield and out into the now forever dark Equestria. Can this trio bring back the sun for all of Equestria? Or will they end up just like Twilight and her friends? These are the questions you can hope to find the answers to withing these pages.
