The mattress was damp, uncovered, and stained. The smell of the damaged mattress spilled into the room adding a rotted perfume to the already fetid air. The unknown pony found himself laying on the stripped bed looking at the ceiling. A single lamp in the corner lit the room. Dark brown stains were left from where water had soaked through, pealing the paint in some areas. The walls were cracked and the decorative paper glued to them was drooping off.
The unknown pony rubbed his eyes with his hooves. The intermittently slow beeping sounds were not helping his head ache; nor was trying to remember where he was or who he was for that matter. He was sure he would figure it out as pieces of information came back to him. He knew the layout of the building he was in and he knew where it was, but everything else was just a blur.
First things first, putting an end to that annoying beeping.
The house was as he had known it would be. The room he was in lead to a hall with a set of stairs right across the way from the door. The room was also located next to a bathroom and down from there the kitchen and upstairs living room. All were in horrible states of neglect. Rust colored stains on the wall ran in streaked lines to the carpet where other stains of similar colors began.
The retched sound was coming from down the hall in the upstairs living room. There was an answering machine on an end table next to a beat up dark brown couch. The strobe of the red light coincided with the beeping noises the device was making. He reached up with a hoof and pressed the play button.

As if by instinct he walked down the narrow stairs and exited the house. A silver cart was waiting for him out side. Checking the pockets on his Letterman jacket he found a set of keys that worked for the cart. The address was close enough to walk, but he felt it more appropriate to take the cart with him.
He parked his cart outside of the building. It was a simple two story restaurant with a blue tile facade around the main door. The main door itself was made of glass reveling a single pony in a white suit holding a metal pipe. The pony had his back turned to the glass door, oblivious to the cart's arrival.
The unknown pony stepped out of his car. Knowing that he needed to disguise himself he retrieved a chicken mask from the back seat of his cart and placed it over his head. He didn't know exactly what he was going to do, but he knew exactly how to do it.
He walked up to the glass doors of the restaurant and, with one final breath, he brazenly threw open the glass doors. The white suit pony turned to see who had entered the lobby, but he was too late. The unknown pony threw a hoof at him smashing his face and knocking him down; the metal pipe was dislodged from his grip and spun across the tile floor.
The unknown pony looked at the white suited pony on the ground. He squirmed on the ground trying to collect himself. The unknown pony straddled him and with a rapid succession of three stomps from his front hoof the white suit pony's head cracked open spraying blood and pulped brain pieces across the floor.
The unknown pony didn't know if he was supposed to kill these ponies, but it felt right.
He walked over to the pipe that was against one of the walls while the white suit pony twitched on the ground in a blood pool behind him. It could be an effective weapon and there was no going back now. As he stood there inspecting the pipe he realized that he knew this place. He knew the layout with surprising detail; everything from the eating area in the next room to the secrete room behind the walk in freezer. On top of that, the mask had allowed him to sense where the other ponies were in the establishment. A unicorn must have enchanted the mask, or at least that is what he figured.
In the next room he sensed two more ponies in white suits. The red one was idly walking around in a square pattern while the yellow one was sitting on a couch looking at a porno magazine. Both of them were armed with the same kind of metal pipe as he was. In the kitchen there was a single blue pony with a knife. He was standing behind the food counter but could easily see the dining room in front of him. Back in the room behind the freezer there was two ponies, one in a brown suit, his nose deep in a pile of white powder. The other was undressed with the exception of a tattered pair of panties around her waist. Neither of them were armed.
Waiting for his opportunity, the unknown pony glanced behind him over his shoulder. The dead pony had stopped twitching and was now basting in a pool of he own blood. He could grow to like this kind of life. Sensing that the red pony was just on the other side of the door, it was time to act.
The unknown pony kicked the door in front of him sending it flying into the red pony. He fell to the ground dropping his weapon. The yellow pony dropped his porno magazine and rushed over with his pipe. The blue pony in the kitchen was also alerted to the scuffle and rushed into the dining area. With a quick swing of the pipe, the unknown pony flattened the yellow pony's head spraying glistening blood across the dark red carpeted floor. The blue pony was quickly closing the distance between the two of them. The unknown pony threw his pipe at the charging pony, leveling him.
The unknown pony turned his attention to the red pony. Injured and scared he was trying to crawl away from the carnage. His dead friend's weapon was just a few feet way from him. If he could get it then he might be able to deal with this chicken masked freak. The unknown pony made sure he never got the chance. In much of the same manner as the pony in the lobby, the unknown pony pulverized the red pony's head.
He walked over to the blue pony. He found him to be unconscious but his breathing told the unknown pony that he was not dead. An unavoidable mistake. The knife the blue pony was wielding was laying near by. Unceremoniously the unknown pony sliced the blue pony's neck and left him to bleed out alone.
The door in the freezer was camouflaged in the back behind a few rows of produce. Despite their best efforts, the unknown pony knew exactly where it was located. The frozen condensation on the ground made the shelves of produce easy to move exposing the door. Knowing no pony was armed on the inside of the room, the unknown pony walked through the door brandishing the knife.
The room was dark with black painted walls. A single hanging bulb hanging above a glass table lit the room. The room wreaked of sex and drugs. The brown suited pony turned around at the sound of the door opening. His face was covered in cocaine and blood trickled out of his right nostril. A surprised expression washed over his face as the site of the unknown pony knocked him out of his high.
“You came back! We thought you were dead. This is not what it looks like”, the pony stammered out. With out saying anything the unknown pony walked slowly towards the suited pony. The suited pony knew there was no where to run and that his crimes were unforgivable, “So, this is the way its gotta be, huh? Milano said I fuck better! You limp dick piece of shit!”
The unknown pony silenced the fool by jabbing the knife into his eye. Blood ran down his face as he slumped over into a pile of plastic bags filled with drugs. Blood quickly pooled and soaked into the brown coat of the suited pony.
The tan pony's blue eyes were rolled back in her head. Puffy bags had formed under her eyes and blood had cut lines through the white powder around her nose. The smell of pheromones wafted from her soaked panties. Her shallow breathing was enough for him to know she was still alive. The unknown pony lifted her off the table spilling the cocaine pile onto the floor in the process.
Caring her through the restaurant the unknown pony placed her in the passenger side of his cart. With out saying a word he drove back to his house.
