The equestrian guy

I woke up by the light of the lamps of my room. I opened my eyes to see that I lay in a bed. Looking at the room, I guess this is a hospital. The room had a light gray wallpaper and a white ceiling. There was TL-light in the room. This must be some sort of hospital. But why am I here? What happened?

I quickly tried to stand up of my bed, only to to cry out in pain. Every muscle in my body hurt. I feel like shit. I knew I needed to get out of my bed to look where I was. But the pain was so much when I tried to get up, so I decided to just lay in bed. A few minutes passed before the door of my room swung open and I saw a nurse coming in. Well, a nurse pony, I guess. She had a light white coat and a hood with a red cross on it.

''Looks like you finally up, hero!'' she said with a wide grin on her face.

''Yes, but what did exactly... wait, did you just call me a hero? What happened? How can I be a hero?''

She still looked at me and then started to talk.'' You are a hero! You saved us from that horrible monster.'' Then I suddenly remembered. I started floating and... I crushed that troll! I crushed a troll! A TROLL!! I don't even know how I did this. This weird power just came over me. I then realized she was still looking at me while I was in thoughts. Why did I trail of this often?

''Yes I remembered, but have still no idea how I did it. That power just came to me.''

''Well you saved us all, so whole the town sees you as a hero. But even hero's need rest, and you have many injuries. They are not really bad but you need to stay in bed for this day.'' She than looked at me smiling before leaving the room.

I felt really tired. Not normal tired, but really REALLY tired! It was like every energy I had was sucked out of my body. I closed my eyes, and in mere seconds I fell asleep.

It was only a few hours later that I woke up. With my eyes still closed I could hear voices in my room. I opened my eyes to see that all my friends where in the room. Pinkie Pie was the first to noticed I was awake.

''Look, he is awake!'' the rest of the ponies stopped talking and looked to me. Then Pinkie jumped on my bed while screaming. ''Thatwassoawsome!thatrockthingdiddn'tknowwhatwashappeningbeforeyouwherelikeCRASHBOOM andhewas dead. Great, now I have headache. Lucky for me, Twilight quickly pulled Pinkie away.

''I must say, you humans sure know what power is. You slammed that troll so hard he turned into sand!'' she then realized she and the others had not asked him how he felled. ''But how are you actually? Did that energy hurt you?''

''It sure hurt as hell, but there are no major injuries so I suppose I am good. And to answer the question how i did it, I have no idea. I just saw that he was about to kill you then I became very angry before I started to slam him. Normally human's can't do such a thing. I don't even know how I did it.

Before the others could react, I heard my door opening and saw that a white pony walked in. Well, pony is a understatement. She had the height of a horse, so she was even bigger than me. But of course, I am not that big. She had a horn, but also wings. She also had some sort of crown on her head. She must be some sort of queen here, I thought. I then noticed that al the ponies where bowing to her. So she is a queen. But it also looked like she had not sleep in a few days.

''Hello, ponies. You can all stand up now.'' she then focused her eyes on me.

''So you are the human I have heard so much about. I must say, how you defeated that troll was... unique, to say. My name is princess Celestia, and I am the ruler of Equestria.''

Twilight looked up at the princess. ''But why are you here in Ponyville? Is something wrong?''

Celestia sighed ''before I go into details, I need to say that Equestria is in great danger.'' We where all shocked. This made more questions than it solved. I started to speak.

''In danger? What do you mean by danger? Does it has something to do with me?'' Before I could ask more questions I got interrupted by the princess.

''I will answer all of your questions, but just ask me one at the time please.''

''Okay, first what danger?'' Celestia seemed to be in thoughts before she answered the question.

''That danger I spoke of is here. Well, not now but it will be very soon.'' She paused for dramatic effect. ''That danger is called ''The Darkness'' and it seems that it is in Equestria. And I see that you have way more questions so let me explain everything about the Darkness. Around 2500 years ago, a king with the name of Rinos took power over Equestria. He was a very good man and better leader. But than a war started with the land of the zebra's. The army of Equestria was not strong back then, and Rinos saw his kingdom being destroyed. There was only one thing he thought he could do. He used a very old and dangerous spell to grand him the power over the darkness. But when he did summon the Darkness, it quickly took over his body. He BECAME the Darkness. They did won the war, but the power corrupted him. He started to kill innocent ponies just for fun. Then a hero came to this world, and used his power to seal the darkness in his castle. But now he is back. But don't worry. The spell to keep most of his power in range of the castle, will only break when you are ready to face him.''

I looked at her before starting to laugh. ''I think you have the wrong man in front of you. I have no powers. And even if I have, I don't even know how to activate them. And I came here at accident''

''I don't think it was a accident. I think that you where meant to come here. And you do have magical powers, just not at this moment. You see, when you used your power against that troll it was to much. All the magic was taken from your body. This magic will be back if you learn about the magic of friendship. That was the reason you where able to use that magic in the first place. And that is the reason you will stay here in Ponyville to learn about that friendship.''

I was never so confused in my life.'' But can the elements of harmony take him out? The elements can defeat every enemy, right Twilight?'' Twilight looked at me and then looked at her mentor.

''Yes, why can't we take him out with the elements?'' she asked Celestia

''Yes, why not?'' pinkie said

''I recon we can take him''

Before another pony could interrupted the princess, she started to speak a little more loudly.

''You can't defeat him with the elements, as the elements can only defeat things that come out of this universe. Since the Darkness did not come from this universe, it won't work. She than turned to me before speaking

''You are our only hope.''
