Twilight's First Ever Date
Twilight, the new princess, was heading towards her room in the Crystal Empire, when she bumped into a familiar figure. "Listen Twilight, just because you're a princess, doesn't mean you can bump into anyone you want and get away with it.” She then glanced upward and realized who she was staring at after many seconds of examining. Flash Sentry. She then blushed, hard. Flash then said: “Well, if you’re not doing anything later, maybe we could have a little drink at Joe’s Bar.” Then, Twilight replied, “That sounds nice” and trotted off to her room.
-Flash’s Perspective-
After Flash and Princess Twilight parted, Flash slowly walked down the hallway, with his heart fluttering. He then bumped into a strong, bulky figure. It was Prince-Commander Shining Armor, He thought everything was going to be fine, until he actually looked into his flaming eyes. “Private Flash Sentry.” Shining barked, “Y- y- yes sir?” Flash whimpered in fear while he said this, thinking of the worst, he then crawled up into a small ball. Flash wasn’t the bulky, muscular, average, and bossy type of guy, he was a not too whimpy guard trying to hit on Equestria’s newest princess. He was practically asking to get knocked out by her brother. “I saw you over there with my sister, and I have to say, you’ve got guts to try something like that.” Shining said in a confident tone. “Whaa-?” Flash said in confusion. “Yes, I said it, you’ve got guts. Listen, I tried that, and it worked out well for me, I mean, if it works for me, it can work for anyone.” He said while trying to crack a joke. “Ha ha ha ha ha haaaa-” Flash was let back to his dormitory, and he instantly passed out onto his bed and then, it was blackness. He woke up to a doorbell. He trotted over sleepily, and opened the door. He then saw a letter on the floor. It had the Ponyville seal on the back. He brought it inside, and opened it. It read: Dear Flash Sentry, I heard you’re hitting on Twilight, well if you hurt her, you will have The Elements of Harmony on your tail. Got it? Good. I’ll see you in Ponyville when you visit. You are visiting right? I thought I heard Rainbow Dash say that you were going to, but she’s a prankster. Anyways, When and IF you do, please stop by The Carousel Boutique for a present I should have done by the time you get here in Povember, I’ll see you in Ponyville. Love, Your friend, Rarity
-Twilight’s Perspective and Before Flash Wakes Up-
Twilight quickly galloped down the hall and barged into her friend Rarity’s room. “Rarity!” Twilight shouted after closing the door. “Yes Twilight, what is it?” Rarity said with her spot-on
Pritish accent. “I got a date! It’s Flash Sentry!” Twilight said with enthusiasm. “Flash Sentry? Oh! You mean the new guard?” Rarity said in obvious confusion. “Yes! Him! He’s taking me out on a date tomorrow! He said we're going to Joe’s Bar! We’re going to have a little drink and try to get to know each other.” “Really?” “Yes Rarity, I would like to get to know him, and the best way to do that, is to date him.” “And, how exactly do you plan on doing that?” “I have no idea!”
