"You'd think they'd let every pony in the bubble thing..." Said Minuette disappointedly "maybe they'll let us in if we are really nice!" "Are you crazy Minuette!? Did you see those ponies get eaten down there when they tried to get in? You could hear their screams from here!" "But isn't it worth trying?" Minuette asked slightly raising her voice "No. Listen this whole thing will blow over when the elements of harmony use their powers again." "What makes you think it will work?" Still with a slight angry tone in her voice. "It worked on discord and that time we where invaded by changelings." "Can't we go down there?" Minuette asked now sounding slightly sad and disappointed. "No. We're not gonna die when this whole zombie thing will end in a day or two" 1 raised his binoculars. "Ah, there's the elements of harmony now!" Orion could see the protection spell fading away as the elements where about to be used. 1 put down the binoculars and was about to say a well deserved "I told you so" to Minuette when, BANG. A gunshot rang out, echoing for miles. "OH SHIT" Exclaimed Orion, scrambling for his binoculars. "What was that bang? Was it the elements?" Asked Minuette eagerly. Orion fell silent, dropping the binoculars "what's wrong?" Minuette picked up the binoculars and found out "OH CELESTIA WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?" Twilight had been shot through the chest. Several more shots rang out, but seemed to have missed. The protection spell had been casted again, locking the castle and its inhabitants inside. "Oh shit what do we do?" Asked Minuette about to burst into tears "YOU'RE ASKING ME LIKE I KNOW." Yelled Orion. It had only taken a short time for the news to set into Orion and Minuette's minds. " All I know is this was zombie thing is gonna last a lot longer" said Orion now calming down. The duo had been running for a while now. When they heard the news they ran for the hills far from Canterlot incase their house got raided by the zombies. "What are we gonna do when we get back to the house?" "How about you come up with a plan for once huh?" "Why are you being so mean now?" Orion stopped, Minuette skidded to a halt about a meter ahead. "We are in a FUCKING ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE AND OUR NATIONS ONLY DEFENCE IS DEAD" Minuette was scared "w-w-well you have your guns right? Shouldn't we go get them? Also some food and I don't know camp out in the woods?" "That's not too bad of an idea actually" said Orion relieved. Orion and Minuette entered the house. "Min you load our saddle bags with food, water and some blankets, I'll get my guns" Minuette did as 1 told her and 1 came downstairs with a makarov and a M9. "You have my Mackey and I'll use the silenced M9. How we doing for supplies?." "I got us all the tinned food we have in the house, sadly not much, some refillable bottles, energy drink, a change of clothes, some blankets" said 1 packing their saddle bags. "So do you think Twilight survived? I mean she is an alicorn, aren't they immortal?" "No, they're just stronger and live longer, also not to burst your bubble but that was a shot to her chest. It may have hit her in the heart. She's probably dead." "Why would any pony do such a thing?" "Some ponies just want to watch the world burn" After the conversation Minuette didn't want to talk, it seemed like too much of a badass saying to end the conversation, it seemed like it would ruin the feel of the moment. She pondered on this thought for a long time even after they left the house. "Hey Min you're being awfully quiet, you ok? I know this must be hard for you but we WILL survive this, you went to scouts and I'm a gun nut we are probably the best off in this situation." "Oh I'm not scared I just didn't want to ruin that badass moment back there." Orion looked at he puzzled but then shrugged it off. They had arrived to the place they where previously watching the castle from, Orion picked up his binoculars and looked at the castle. The protection spell was weakening, he could see it flickering away until it was completely gone. A fleet of guards rushed out, all armed with guns and started shooting at the zombies. Orion couldn't help but feel frustrated with their tactics. The door was still wide open and guards where dropping like flies. Soon after the last guard passed Orion spotted, Applejack, Rainbow, Fluttershy, Rarity and Pinkie running from the castle all scattering. Twilight wasn't in sight. "The castles defences just went down and Twilights friends just ran out and scattered." "Was twilight there?" "As I said before I'm pretty sure that gunshot killed her, must have been a lucky shot, that guy had terrible aim. If it where me there'd be a bullet in each of their heads in 10 seconds flat." "But you'd never do that, right?" "We're in a zombie apocalypse, you've seen the movies, their morals all degrade and they kill each other for supplies, that's why we have to be careful." "We're not killing anyone!" Minuette said sounding disgusted. "Tell me that again when we are starving and have no food."
