Chapters "Prologue" or "In The Beginning!"
Well... Ladies and Gentlecolts of the viewing audience.... Hello there... I am Alex.... I’m uh... kinda lost exactly on how to start this story but.... Here it goes I guess.
Well as you can imagine this story is one of a rather strange occurrences and that of an unfortunate series of events.... and yes... yes I did just say that. So then! I guess I owe my dear Audience an explanation of who I really am then, right? Eh... I guess I do....
Well My name is Alex, I’m an artist of many different types and meanings. I love the arts with a burning passion, brighter than any sun yet to be discovered. I love video-games, TV, and reading. I love to draw, the Gods know I do, and I love to write stories, although they may just be fanfictions, and I am rather new at them. I am a Whovian, and also a Brony, so I am all for Doctor Whooves. I have to admit that it is actually a pretty good idea-
“Watcha doin?” Asked the rather annoying voice of the Lord of Chaos, coming from behind me. Now the normal reaction would be to slam the lid shut, but I am not exactly normal... especially here.
“Oh, hey Discord. I was actually just about to write my story. Well... at least the interesting part” I said with a chuckle. I knew it was hopeless to hide it from him, but I knew he wouldn’t be interested in it unless-
“Oh! Did you get to the part about me yet?!” He said a little excitedly, like a self absorbed five year old.
I sighed. “No Discord. Like I just said... I JUST got started....” I said back, sounding a little sad about the fact that I had just started. I only ever spoke like that when I wanted someone to leave me alone, or so that they would let me continue what I was doing.
“Oh... Well that’s boring then....” He stated dumbly. If I could punch the Lord of Chaos without my hand feeling like it hit a brick, I would... “Well anyway! The game starts in a few minutes! Want me to deal you in or not?” He asked, suddenly in his poker dealer get up, making some cards fly by my face, like he was the best poker player on the world.... Although from what I could tell he was really.
“Uh.... sure go ahead and deal me in. I’ll finish this up and be right with you guys.” I said, giving him shrug.
“Alright!See you inside then!” He said before he disappeared into the Blue Box. I had to admit.... This planet sure was strange...then again I guess I’m not much better off. I cracked a small smile at that, and turned back to my laptop to begin my work. I guess the game will have to wait a bit...
Now uh... Where was I again? .... Oh, right!-
Anyway! I think that’s enough about me. Lets continue on with the story then! Onwards!
In The Beginning!
In the Beginning... there was me. Sitting at Home... alone.... My mom was still at work,
and my sister was... well only God knows the answer to that one. Anyway, so I was home alone, again, which I liked. I was online surfing de youtubes, and talking with some friends over skype, and everything seemed to be alright, like any other normal boring day. Heh, yeah right. Fat chance, as always in my life.
Before I knew what was happening, I was... Gone.... Literally, one second I was in my desk chair talking to my friends over skype, then the next thing I know I’m flat on my ass on a cold tile floor. I was a little shocked at first to say the least, and at first had just assumed that my chair had broken out from under me. When I got up however.... well.... I guess the only way I could say it is that I was looking at a frankenstein like being, or like when a kid tries to take all his toys apart and tries to make them all fit together. He had a goats head, a dragons tail, and.... uh.... two different horns on his head with... a bat’s wing, and a bird’s wing on his back, a reptilian-like tail.... uh.... two different kinds of hands.... er... a paw and a claw of some sort... from like a giant mutated chicken or something of the sort.... However I wasn’t focusing on any of these features at the time. I was more focused on the Yellow bug eyes, with red irises that seemed to be trying to have a staring contest with me.
“Hmm... well what do we have here....” Said a cold, and relaxed voice. I could only assume it was the voice of the being in front of me, since it seemed he was the only one in the room. “Now how could this have happened? I admit sometimes my own Powers don’t work exactly with me, but I don’t see how they could have gone so... astray!... Hmm.... Uh tell me... who and what are you exactly?” the eyes blinked slightly, and seemed to look to the side, flying back to the head of the being from whence they came.
I stood there dumbfounded for a minute, a little unsure what to think. “Oh drats! I think I broke him.~” was all I heard before I felt something slap me across the face. Hard.
“OW! What the heck was that-” A said turning towards him, only to come face to face with something that wasn’t what I expected. The being in front of me wall humungus! He was at least 10 feet tall at full stature, had this cunningly evil smile to him, and a small beard in which he was stroking gently with his claw. He had the head of a goat, and-(wait... I already described him didn’t I? ...Woops! Sorry! Hehe... Anyway... )
His smile only widened as he looked me over “Hmm.... Actually.... Maybe my powers didn’t go astray this time....” He gave an Evil laugh. Literally, an old time, classic villains laugh with lightning in the background and everything. Even the freaking echo!
Oh speaking of the Echo, apparently I wasn’t the only one who heard it. “DISCORD! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Yelled and extremely peeved, womans voice (at least I think it was a woman’s.) My eyes widened in fear, as per most people (err... ponies) who have never heard the “Royal Canterlot Voice” before would.
“Oh moon-pies!- UH!- NOTHING LUNA!” Discord yelled back, slightly unconvincingly.
“YOU BETTER NOT BE PLANNING ON BEING EVIL AGAIN!” The voice yelled back.
“I’M NOT! I PROMISE!” He said crossing his fingers behind his back.
“Oh? Then stop crossing your fingers behind your back!” She yelled again, seeming to be a little calmer.
He cursed quietly “Drats! How does she know that?!” Then after a few seconds without a response from the angry voice, he turned his attention back to me. “So then! Where were we?- OH! That’s right! You were going to tell me your name...” He gave me a wickedly, toothy smile, as he stared me down.
“.... Uh.... My name’s Alex.... and I’m guessing your’s would be Discord, right?” I asked the strange, and all powerful being.
He simply continued to stare at me evilly for the next few moments before answering “Yes. I am Discord! Lord and Embodiment of Chaos!” He said a little loudly before he slapped his hand to his mouth, and looked towards the door again, worriedly.
I looked around him towards the door, but nothing happened. I gave a small grin and decided to make a joke.... bad Idea on my part. “Heh.... a Lord of Chaos who is afraid of a loud voice behind his door?” I said with a small grin on my face.
He squinted and looked back towards me with a killing glare, literally killing the flower pot beside me. I saw this and gave him my best innocent, and terrified smile I could muster.
I raised an eyebrow, and took a step back from him. “Alright... So why exactly did you bring me here? I’m guessing it has something to do with... uh... “Luna” I think you called her.” I said, analyzing the situation before me. People say I should stop, and that it’s a bad habit for me. I don’t understand why, and people never really give me a good reason so I ignore them.
“Oh god. An Egghead." He said facepalming almost instantly. “I don’t need an Egghead. I need someone (or rathe something) that can be as ingenuitive and creative as I can be. I need someone who is as crazy as me! Yet someone who is cunning too....”
I gave him an ‘Are you serious’ kind of look, and chuckled lightly at his list of things he wants in a person for his untold reasons, and purposes. The laughter seemed to get his attention, and he came right up to my face with the death glance in his eyes again. I was prepared however and stood up to face him head on, making him back up this time, a strangely confident smile on my face. He was definitely confused at this point, and looked me over studyingly again, as if something about my appearance had changed.
“You know.... there’s an old Earth saying back at my own home world.... ‘There’s a very thin line between Brilliance... and Insanity.” I said with a very cunning, and confident grin on my face.
His reaction to this however, wasn’t what I had been expecting it to be. Instead of giving me an even more confused look he smiled devilishly at me, and walked forwards. “Good... so I didn’t choose wrongly....” He grabbed my wrist, and tied something to it faster then I could pull my hand away. When he let go of my hand I looked down at my wrist to see some kind of swanky looking wrist watch. I had to admit I liked the look of it, the Titanium finish, and stainless steel hands. The Dark Neon Blue numbers, and the black Backdrop mixed pretty well, and the black leather did a bit of good as well. The only thing about the watch that I didn’t like, was the giant Star Treck red “Q” surrounding the center hands. It was a bright glowing Neon Red, which clashed with the rest of the watch. I looked up at Discord confuzed in why he gave me the watch, and what was with the “Q” in the center of it, but he was already gone.
Or rather, I was gone. I was back in my room, back in my desk, back in my boring old life. The only thing different about me was the fact that I had just felt like I had just woken up from a dream. I looked around my room, touching everything, to make sure I was really back. After that, I calmed down and tried to rethink of what had just occurred. I quickly got on a new “Google Docs” and began Typing everything that had just happened.
Once I did that I shared it with a few of my friends and asked them what they thought about my little trip off to dreamland... or at least I thought it was a dream. My friends just replied with mostly the same answers. “.......” When I asked them what was up, they said that it was just a blank Document, and that there was nothing in it. I quickly checked the Doc again, but the words were still there. I assumed my friends were just pranking me, and told them they were wrong. But they were adamant that the Document was blank, and eventually raged offline when I didn’t believe them, and called me crazy a few times.
After all the Skype drama was over I looked back at the Document, and read through it again, just to be safe. Then I read the part about the watch and stopped reading. I looked to my wrist, and slowly lifted the jacket sleeve. The watch was attached to my wrist. Like someone used Gorilla Glue on the bottom of it, and on my wrist. I couldn’t take watch off for the life of me, and after a few Hammers, and pliers, I determined that the watch was indestructible, and magically protected.
I sighed and sat back in my chair, and looked at the watch for the time, because my desk clock had a hammer stuck in it (can you guess where THAT came from?) I looked to the time, and it said 7:57 PM EST. I sighed and sat back in my chair, trying to remember what had just happened, and trying to figure out if it was even real. I looked at the watch again, and noticed something strange about it. The “Q” had turned slightly, clockwise. The point had now moved from the 4 to the 5 position. I was confused, because there was nothing about the time or date that had changed from four to five. After a few hours I gave up on THAT too, and went to go watch some Doctor Who on Netflix.
Some time passed later on, and the school year had just ended. It was summer break, and once again, I was home alone, on my laptop, talking with some friends, writing some stories. The usual. But this time, I was given a warning.... and I was ready for it.
I get off skype saying I’m going to go and take a break offline for a while. My friends all say bye, and I get off, shutting down my laptop, and packing my headset into my backpack, which is now empty and void of school stuff. Since the incident happened two weeks before school got out, my backpack was empty anyways, so I decided to fill it with some essentials without my mother knowing. I packed away a few snacks, my charger for my laptop (I didn’t know if they would have electricity where I was gonna be pulled back too) most of the time my laptop. Some mechanical pencils, a binder jam packed full of blank paper of all kinds. Some clothes, a spare pair of jeans, some t-shirts, and socks. I never saw the point in packing my phone because odds were I wasn’t going to get any reception.
Now you see- I realized about a week later that the “Q” on the watch was a countdown when it went from 5 to 6. To what though, I could only guess to be my return to wherever Discord was. I looked towards the watch for the time, and read it for about 11:59 AM so I went to go and make some lunch. Only as soon as I walked out of my room, I felt my wrist vibrating.
“What the-” I looked towards my watch and saw that the tip of the “Q” was pointed up at the 12 making a sort of power symbol. My eyes widened and I ran back into my room. The seconds watch grew a brighter the more it counted down, and I quickly packed away my laptop into my backpack, along with it’s cord.
“35 seconds and counting Alex, hurry up!” I yelled at myself, slipping on my favorite, blue and black striped hoodie. I grabbed my backpack, and zipped up my hoodie, thankfully already having my shoes on. I looked towards my watch, the Power symbol a bright, bright, glowing shade of red, as the seconds hand ticked towards the 12 with 5 seconds left. I breathed deeply and held the straps of my backpack in my hands. “Well, in the words of the Doctor.... “Allons-y!”” I shouted out before I disappeared in a brilliant flash of blue light.
“Wow... That ending Sucked!” Discord half yelled, into my ear. “Seriously?! THAT is what you missed the poker-game for?” He said trying to be as annoying as possible.
I half jumped from where I was sitting against the blue box, because as usual Discord appeared directly behind me, and had been reading as I typed. I looked at him, obviously annoyed. “Hey! I don’t tell you how to- .... wait... did you say I missed the Poker Game?” I said, making the realization. I looked inside and saw an empty poker table, which was also snapped in half apparently, as if someone had put a chainsaw through it. “OH COME ON! Seriously?! What the heck man! Why did you start without me?!” I asked, angry that he didn’t wait for me.
“Wait.... You wanted us to wait for you?” He asked a completely dumbfounded look on his face. I face palmed, slamming my glasses up to my face.
“..... Yes Discord. I assumed you would wait for me.... You said you would tell the guys I was just finishing up...”
As Discord and I argued, apparently the owner of said Blue Box had gotten rather annoyed, and came to investigate what was with the arguing.
“Oi! Discord! Who are you yelling at this time?” He said in his thickly British accent. Well, more like Trottingham accent here.
I turned towards the door and opened it, looking inside. “Oh hey Doc. Sorry about all of the commotion. Discord and I can’t seem to agree today.” I said with a light chuckle.
He laughed at that, “Oh please! When do you two EVER get along?” He laughed a little more, and still had a classic smile on his muzzle. “Hehe... anyway, I’m glad to see you’re feeling better! Too bad you had to miss the game though.”
I looked at him for a moment with a WTF look on my face. “Uh... Doc what are you talking about? I’ve been outside the whole time.”
The Doctor only gave me a confused look, then noticed Discord behind me, making a throat cutting motion in a panic. “Uh.... Well, Discord said that you... you were back at the castle with the flu.... Discord what are you doing?” The Doctor asked him. I quickly turned around to face the Lord of Chaos, catching him red handed.... Err... pawed... clawed...? ... Anyway, I looked towards him a little angrily, and he snapped his fingers disappearing from sight.
I sighed, facepalming again, and turned back towards the Doctor with a small sheepish smile on my face. “Uh... Hey Doctor? You mind taking me back to Canterlot? Discord was kinda my only ride back...” I said rubbing the back of my neck.
“Oh Certainly! Although I have to make a few errands along the way... it may take a few hours though... You don’t mind do you?” He asked, pulling a lever, and lowering the Poker Table under the console floor.
I looked at him and thought for a moment. “I guess not... it’ll at least give me a chance to write some of the second chapter.” I said honestly, taking a seat off to the side. “The TARDIS does have Wi-fi doesn’t it?”

Chapter 2
The REAL first Chapter
Well Doc apparently it does! Oh and- GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! We’re back by Popular Demand! So without further ado ladies and gentlecolts! Chapter 2!
So then.... A quick Recap for those of you who don’t feel like reading the end of the first chapter. I disappeared in a flash of bright light, with a backpack full of my list of essentials, and then some that I thought were too dumb or too generic to mention, like a toothbrush, an umbrella, some reading material incase I got bored. Seems a little convenient huh? Well don’t worry. Where I landed was NOT so convenient.
“Oww.... My head....” I groaned, slowly getting up off the floor. Inter-dimensional travel SUCKED!
I stood on my two feet, looking at my surroundings, trying to assess my situation. I was apparently in some kind of Library, in what looked like... a tree? “.... What the heck?” I asked no one in particular. Then I slapped my hand to my mouth, which made a light echo of noise in the Library. I looked around waiting for any signs of someone (or something) coming to investigate sudden appearance, but no one came.
I approached the windows silently, but only found them to be shut it with some wood window panels. I didn’t want to risk the squeaking so I decided to save going outside for later. Instead I went to investigate the home I was currently i.
I walked up the steps only to hear a loud, yet quiet snoring, like that of a child. I gently peaked inside the nearest room to see what looked to be a baby sleeping in a basket on the floor. Alright... well whoever lives here is either a single mother, or father, and plans to return soon if they left the baby here to sleep alone. I better be quick then. I quietly pulled the door shut, and started walking downstairs, avoiding the small towers of books that lined the stairwell. However since there were no railings, I slipped and almost fell off to the side. I was able to keep myself stable but I knocked a tower of books down, and too the side causing them to fall to the ground. Loudly. I winced as they did, and looked straight up to the bedroom where the baby slept, my heart feeling like it was going to beat right out of my chest. I waited the longest time....
Then I heard the snoring, still as loud as ever. The Baby was still asleep! “... Wow... That’s one sound sleeper....” I said out loud, not thinking I would actually need to cover my mouth this time.
That did it. That’s when I heard a young, childlike voice, waking up slowly. “Huh-what? ..... Yaawwwwn..... Twilight? .... That you?” I heard the young voice ask, the door opening slightly.
I didn’t panic however I simply went to the side of the stairwell, and hung myself over the edge, where he couldn’t see me. I quickly put a book over my fingers with a free hand, and let myself hang there, waiting to see if I would be discovered.
The baby- err... “hatchling” I guess I should say (now that I know the correct term) walked right past me and down the steps, apparently still a bit groggy from his nap. He went straight to the kitchen, and began looking through it, looking for something to eat. I saw this as my chance to escape. I quickly hopped down, my feet making a quiet ‘thud’ as I did. Then I tried to sneak to the door.
“Who?” I heard a voice say directly behind me. I froze instantly, not sure what to do. “Who?” The voice repeated again, the same way as before. Then I felt something land on my shoulder, and looked to see what appeared to be some kind of owl on my shoulder. I raised an eyebrow at it, and tried to tip it off, but that owl had some grip. “Who?” It repeated again, this time catching the hatchlings attention from the kitchen.
“Owlicious, who are you talking to? The wall?”
“Ugh.... nevermind....” he said walking out into the book room, still a little groggy. He looked straight at Owlicious, then he noticed what the owl was perched on. “... What the....” He said looking directly at me, my face covered by my hoodie thankfully. “Uh.... Hello? ..... I’m sorry, I was taking a quick nap earlier...” He looked me over obviously confused about what I even was, but continued on anyway “.... If you’re looking for Twilight, she’s not here right now... she still up at Canterlot, solving a big problem they’ve been having lately.... I’m Spike her assistant. I can take a message if you want me too?” He said, walking over to the desk to grab a piece of paper, and a quill.
I just stared in utter and complete shock at this being before me. He woke up from his nap to find me, a creature he has never seen before, in his house, sneaking around, trying to get to the door... and he was asking me if I wanted to write a letter to his boss.... Either he was oblivious, or this... “place” was plain old bonkers. Possibly a combination of both.
I just stood there for a moment more, before bolting for the front door. Honestly I am not good with meeting new people, and being as antisocial as I am, along with how I was talking with what appeared to be a baby dragon, and an owl who could only say “who” I decided to make a quick exit before I went completely bonkers. I could hear the door mechanism breaking as I went through the door, all 250 pounds of me obliterating the door straight off it’s hinges (and yes that’s my actual weight, so don’t be a smart ass about it in the comments)
I would have normally apologized for breaking the door, but obviously this wasn’t the time or place for formalities. I scanned around quickly and ran for the nearest bit of cover I could see, which was actually a nearby forest. I ran past what appeared to be two... “Ponies” sitting on a public park bench, one sitting like I’d imagine an equine would, and the other sitting up more normal like in my case. The one sitting up was a light faded kind of green, and had orange eyes, with some kind of musical instrument on her flank as it seemed. She just stared at me slack-jawed, before quickly shaking the other pony awake, and pointing in the direction I had run in. I didn’t get a good look at the other one, since I was running by, but I think I remember her being a light shade of tan, or peach color possibly. Then again, I’m color blind to certain colors so what the heck do I know?
I didn’t look back however not really thinking I would have the time to, incase I had a mob chasing after me soon enough. I ran straight into the forest, not giving a care about how strange and different it appeared to be from the rest of the area surrounding it. I just kept running deeper into the forest, until I was out of breath about ten minutes later. I decided to take a break, and sat down beside a rather large tree, to think of what the heck I needed to do next....

Discord watched the monitor before him, the main target in mind being the human from another dimension. Discord had personally called him here a few months ago, to see if the human could actually help him. It seemed that he had picked wisely, for the human seemed to trust nobody, which meant he wouldn’t be able to make any friends. He sat back watching the human run around, while he ate his popcorn, inside his own (very empty) head. He watched with an evil grin on his face, poofing himself up a magical pair of 3-D glasses.
The Discord sitting down groaned loudly, at the protest of his “Good” self (or rather his new self, ever since he became “reformed”) He facepalmed and looked at his other self. Since when did the Lord of Chaos care for anything other then himself? He should be able to do what he wanted freely! Cause some trouble and whatnot! He cursed himself in his own mind, which echoed loudly in the blank empty whiteness that was the abyss of his mind.
“Hey! I heard that!” Said the Good Discord. Bad Discord got up, and sighed.
“Well no duh. We share the same mind you dunce.... As for him-” he said motioning to the TV monitor. “-where’s the fun in just bringing him to us? Why not make a little adventure out of it?” He gave a (somewhat evil) chuckle, but noticed the look the other him was giving him. He sighed, and put his arm around his other self’s shoulder. “Besides, how else are we going to entertain the audience?” He said, pointing directly to the reader....
(You just had to break the fourth wall didn’t you Discord? UGH! Honestly! Remind me to make your other self REALLY annoying in the future!)
“Love you to sweetie~” He said, giving the author a sly wave of his hand, and an
trollface like smile.
“Hmm.... Point taken.” Said the Good him, and sat back down making himself his own pair of 3-D glasses, and returning the others back to himself.
“Glad you could see it my way!” He patted the other him on the back, right when he was eating some popcorn. The Good him began choking, while the other him sat back on the old, beat up couch, which was breaking under the weight of the two. “Roll the clip!” He announced loudly. He quickly searched around the innards of the couch for the remote, kicking the other him in the neck, which eased his breath exponentially. He then pulled out the remote, and pressed the “play” button, thus putting my story back in motion.

I sat there for only a few moments more, before I decided to stand up. I began brushing myself off, preparing for a small jog back towards the town, since they would most likely search for me deeper within the woods. Then when things cool down, I’ll see if I can’t get a talk in with one of them maybe, and find out a little more about this Discordwho brought me here in the- “Grrrrrr...” I froze, and just bearly turned my head to the side, to see deep red glowing eyes coming from in a nearby bush.
“.... Right.... Of course...” Then without any warning, I shot off towards the way I came, with a little bit of an alteration. Then I heard a loud howling from deeper within the woods, and many more join it. If I had learned anything from my years and experiences of TV and Movies. That was a sign that you were in some DEEP trouble.
I ran for at least a good 15 minutes, still hearing the barking and howling coming from a distance. They were quickly gaining on me now, since I was so out of shape (curse me for my fluffiness) Thankfully though I was on the edge of the forest, a wooden fence being the only thing that was blocking my path. I quickly hopped the fence, and continued running, through what appeared to be some kind of apple orchard. I heard the howling die off in the distance, which surprised me to look back towards the fence, which I could still see clearly. They had all stopped at the wooden fence, as if afraid to cross it.
I kept running, and couldn’t really give it a second thought, in case they decided I was worth crossing the fence for. After a good two minutes I came upon what looked to be barn of some sort, so I ran into it, opening the giant wooden doors with a loud squeaking noise, and shut it behind me, putting my weight up against the doors, trying to catch my breath.
I shut my eyes, and just turned around to collapse against the doors, throwing my backpack to the side for a moment. I kept panting heavily, before opening my eyes, looking up at the ceiling....
“Eh-hem!” My breathing was loudly interrupted by someone clearing their throat. I instantly looked frontwards, noticing the giant red Pony in front of me. He had a dirty blonde kind of mane, and tail, with a green apple sliced in half on his flank, and a piece of straw in his mouth, which actually seemed to suit him pretty well, all things considering. He was an all red stallion who, and even though he didn’t say anything, still scared the living Jebus out of me, just with the staring match that was initiated the moment I look forwards.
“..... Uh.... I was chased by Wolves?” I just said, my mind incapable of saying anything more, probably because of the lack of oxygen I was getting.
“Eeyup” He just said before he continually began to glare me down.
I admit I was already a sweaty mess,from all of that running. I jut gave him a sort of dumbfounded look for most of the time. I slowly began to rise, and reached for my backpack, when he snorted loudly, as if he was forbidding it. I slowly pulled myself away from the backpack, standing back up, my legs in no shape to run again anytime soon. “Alright.... Can I ask why?” I said, dusting myself off a little. He just continued chewing on his straw, as if to say I already knew my answer. I raised an eyebrow, at him a little confused, until he walked over, and bucked it to my feet, revealing some strange kind of yellow, and red flower, that had grown into it. Literally it had attached itself to my backpack, vines encasing it, creating a very strong grip.
The Stallion re-approached it with some kind of hedge trimmers, and cutting off the flower from the root that had entangled my backpack. Almost instantly the vines started to turn grey and wither away, almost like dust on my backpack. I began to reach for it, but stopped, and looked up at the stallion. He simply nodded giving me the go ahead.
I Look at the small flower on the ground, and then went to my backpack, pulling out one of the boxes of Cheez-its I told you all about earlier (honestly I can’t survive without the stuff) and I pulled out the unopened bag, putting it back in my backpack. I could tell the Red stallion behind me was giving me some strange looks, but I didn’t bother to look at him. I gently scooped the flower into the box, shutting it tightly as the roots were already growing back.
I quickly pulled out my Duct-tape (or gaffer-tape as some English readers may call it) and began to neatly wrap the Box in the stuff, making sure there were no folds in the tape, so the roots couldn’t grow out. Then when I did, I placed the box (gently) back into my backpack, a little proud that I didn’t ensnare myself in the roots. I zipped up my backpack, after putting everything away, and turned back to the Red Stallion.
“Um.... Thank you for uh.... you know, not kicking me straight out of your barn....” I said rubbing the back of my neck. He just nodded, chewing on his piece of straw. “.... Anyway, I’m uh.... I’m Alex” I said, holding out my hand to the stallion. I had to admit I was taking a big risk by telling him my name, but he seemed like a quiet type of per- err... pony. A little like myself really.
He looked at my hand studyingly, before putting his hoof in it. “Big Macintosh... but most call me Big Mac.” He said, somehow managing to keep his straw in his mouth. I had to admit I was a little taken aback but his sudden ability to say more then two syllables, but he just chuckled lightly. “Didn’t expect me to say much did ya?”
I smiled and simply nodded my head in return. “Hehe... yeah I guess I didn’t. You seemed more like the strong and silent type to me.”
“Eeyup.” He said with a small wink. I only shook my head a little, trying to suppress a chuckle of my own. Then I turned and began walking to the door.
“Well it was nice to meet you Big Mac. Sorry I can’t stay long, I need to go and find someone. He owes me a ride home.”
“Hehe... well then I feel sorry for him, cuz it looks like yer not from round these parts.” He said a little slyly, making me think he knew something. “You two seem to have a long ride home then....”
I raised my eyebrow at him, a little accusingly. “Oh? Is that so? Well you wouldn’t mind telling me what you know about my home would you?” I asked him a little questionably, with obvious suspicion.
He just raised an eyebrow in confusion. “Well yer a human right? Lyra don’t ever stop talken about ya’ll, whenever she stops on by the applecart in the market. Honestly she’s so distracted with her ‘humans’ that anypony could cheat her out of her money without even realizing it.” He chuckled lightly, and turned towards some stacks of hay, getting ready to load them onto the cart.
“Lyra?.... you mean... The uh... the mare with the lyre thing on her flank? Light green, orange eyes?” I asked him, remembering the mare on the park bench.
“Eeyup” He said, as he loaded the first stack, going back for a second one. That was all he really said after that.
“Uh... well Alright...” Looks like I’ll have to go and pay this Lyra a visit then... “Well uh... thanks again Big Mac. Good luck with them uh... apples, I guess.” I said a little awkwardly.
“Eeyup...” He said then grunted as he loaded up another two stacks of hay, not looking at me at all.
At that point I decided to take my leave, turning towards the doors of the barn. I was about to leave when I thought of asking him something. “Hey Big Mac?”
He looked over to me for a moment, with an eyebrow raised. I took it as my cue to continue. “Tell me.... Do you know anyone- err.... “pony” who has a thing for time pieces?” I said holding up my wrist to the stallion, showing him the watch. “My watch doesn’t seem to tell time....”

The TARDIS doors burst open, and the Doctor ran in, a complete and total mess... well.... More so than he usually did anyway. “Alex! We’ve got a problem!”
I groaned “Ugh! What did you do now Doc?” I said shutting my laptop, and looked at him. “Wow! .... What the heck happened to you?!” A asked him a little confused, as to why he was burnt to a crisp, and his mane was still on fire (slightly.)
“Uh, well.... Looks like you might be a bit later than I thought you might be.” He said with an “oopsie” kind of smile. I groaned more, and looked towards the laptop, opening it again. I was just about to get to the good part too!
“How long?” I asked in a annoyed voice.
“Until we lose them” he just said quickly pressing buttons and pulling levers on the TARDIS console. How he was able to do it with hooves is beyond me.
“..... I should probably hang onto something then huh?” I asked him, quickly packing the laptop into the backpack.
“Oh definitely!” He said, a little TOO excitedly. “Framfarir! ” He called out throwing the lever.
I grabbed the closest thing I could (which was the chair I was sitting in moments ago, as Gravity seemed to flip on us, (The Doctor somehow managing to stay on his hind hooves the entire time.) I Howled in fear (Howled sounds manlier than screaming like a little girl) as the TARDIS took off, not sure where, or rather WHEN we would end up next. So until then my readers!

The Clock Keeper & Truth Seeker
“Sorry folks. No short comment today about why I am starting up again, and what happened last time when the Doctor came storming in! I’d rather not go over it again... I made too many un-manly noises....” Shiver “Anyway! Onwards with the story!”

I quickly sneaked across the towns park. It was dark so I was pretty hard to see, but the light from the moon was very bright, so I would still have to be careful. I continued sneaking towards the giant, monstrous, clocktower. Apparently it was the home of my target, the local clock keeper. I still didn’t understand how these ponies had been able to construct such a beautiful and gigantic piece of machinery. Honestly I was shocked how they could construct something so... “modern”, and tall without the use of construction equipment, and engines to power them. Then again (according to Big Mac) they had magic, so I guess I shouldn’t have been that surprised. I approached the small oak door, and tried to jimmy the lock (which I had honestly never done before.) I was actually quite surprised that the door simply opened as I had leaned against it. I looked at it in confusion for a second. Isn’t this guy afraid that someone might try to take his stuff? I looked at the door trying to figure this clock keeper out, when I heard the clanking of hooves in armor. I turned my head in that direction and quickly (yet quietly) entered the clock Tower.I put my ear to the door, and looked through the key-hole as what appeared to be the royal guards, or the possible police force they had around here. Apparently word of my little “run” through town had reached the ears of the police. I facepalmed myself, and continued watching as the guards walked back towards the town center, which I passed on my way here. I sighed, and wiped a bit of sweat from my brow, and turned towards the innards of the clock tower. Honestly I will tell you now... I love old things. I love the rusted things, the antiques, the brass and copper, and I ESPECIALLY love the clocks, so I couldn’t help but smile at the giant cogs and gears that spun all around me. I walked normally, my steps matching those of the loud ticking of the seconds hand at the top of the clock tower. I figured I wouldn’t need to be quiet if I matched the noise up to my steps. He didn’t seem to be at the bottom (which just had a couch, a radio, and a coffee table as far as I could tell.) He must have been at the top since it seemed to be the only place he could have gone. (To save you from telling you each step I took lets just skip to the top of the tower.) I sat down at the top of the steps, breathing a little heavy. “Ugh... Never.... again...” I whispered to myself. I looked down from the top of the tower, and then quickly moved away again. I hated heights, absolutely hated them. The sight of the 2-3 stories I could have fallen down was enough to scare me. I quickly (and wobbly) got up to my feet, and put my hand on the door, trying not to look down, or over the edge of the railing. I was actually surprised that this door was not locked either.Ok either this guy is extremely sure he’s in a safe place and would have no need to lock the doors, or he’s just a idiot. I turned the knob, and peered inside. It didn’t appear like anyone was home. The light was one, which was very bright in the room. On three of the four walls were just covered in ordinary brick and the clock face, and the giant metal poles, and gears sticking straight out of the middle of the floor, all of which there was nothing to be seen in the room, and therefor, no ONE to be seen. But then why was is so well lit? So the ponies outside can see the clock tower at night, probably I told myself. I was about to turn and leave when I noticed something through the crack of the hatch, where it was hinged to the floor. “No.... it couldn’t be....” I said out loud, not believing what I saw in the corner of the clock tower. “... But that’s... that’s impossible... he doesn’t even exist! He’s a TV character! ....”Now... you know those times when you have something absolutely unbelievable, and completely amazing happen to you? Like say you become best friends with your favorite Celebrity? Or you have just aced the end of the year exam, in your hardest class? Yeah.... Now imagine that times ten thousand, and you’re halfway there.I approached the strange, yet ever so familiar Blue Box, in the corner of the room. I looked upon it for a moment, not believing what my eyes are telling me. Either this was a near EXACT replica of the TARDIS, and the Time Keeper was a fan of the show from another Dimension, or this was indeed, THE TARDIS.I gently laid my hand against the blue paint, feeling a faint hum. I felt it through my whole arm, a sort of warmth, and calmness seeping over me through my arm, giving me the strangest vibe that the box was alive. I quickly pulled my hand away, unsure what to do. This was truly not what I was expecting...“.... By the Gods... it... it’s the real deal! Ha!” I nearly yelled out the “Ha!” bit, as I was extremely over excited. It had to be the real TARDIS! Why else would anyone hold it up here?! The “Clock Keeper” was a cover for him! That way he could go through-out town without attracting attention to himself!But.... wait.... Why would he want to lay low? Isn’t he bipedal? Wouldn’t he stick out like a sore thumb? This thought crossed my mind for only a few moments until I heard the hatch creaking open behind me. Oh crap . I thought to myself. I slowly turned to see who was behind me. What I saw was a little bit more then I was expecting, but I guess at this point anything would surprise me at this point.The grey pegasus just stopped and stared at me for a moment, her mouth hanging slightly open. Her eyes were very wrong, as one looked up towards the ceiling while the other was looking dead at me. They were a deep golden blonde color, as was her mane and tail. She had a bubble based cutiemark on her flank, and a mailbag like pack on her back. Something else I noticed was a glitter of light from what looked to be a key tied around the end of her mane. I almost immediately noticed it as the TARDIS key, due to how many times I had seen a close up of it on the show. Apparently she had noticed me staring at it, as he wall-eye, looked straight to the key attached to her mane. She let out the slightest gasp, and both of her eyes focused right at the box, then back to me and back between us again. Oh crap! Ok think- think! She’s starting to get the wrong idea! Ok ok ok so.... If I approach her, she will assume I’m moving for the key. If I stay still the odds are likely we will go into a staring match, which I don’t even think she can do. So... I had an idea, but I had to act quickly before she tried to fly away. The second she began to slowly open her wings, I knew she was going to try to fly away. I didn’t want her to leave! She could probably answer a few of my never-ending mountain of questions. Ok... Time to run away! I couldn’t see her, but I thought that I would hear her hoof steps on the wood floor. Only I didn’t. Instead what I DID hear was a slight “thwumping” noise, as if a large bird flapping it’s wings quietly. I didn’t make sense of it, until I heard the sound of hooves landing on wood, above my head. Right then I would have facepalmed, but instead I just slowly looked up the box towards the top of it. The Mare was staring down at me, look as if she had felt guilty, which I guess she did. She must have thought she had honestly scared me (which I won’t lie, she actually did, when she came upstairs.) I looked down myself, feeling a bit ashamed that I had made her assume that. But she seemed to take it as only a sign of me being more afraid.“Hey... It’s alright... I’m not going to hurt you.” She said delicately. Her voice was soft, and kind, and it had a child like innocence to it. I slowly looked back up to where she had been- only she wasn’t there. Instead she was sitting on the other side of me, which I didn’t notice until I turned the other way. I nearly had a heart attack right there and then. Since when had she become so stealthy?!“Ah!” I shouted and scooted back a few feet, hitting my head against the door handle of the Box. “Ow...” I said rubbing the back of my head with my hand, and looked back up to her, only to see the concern in her eyes. “Oops.... Sorry?” She said innocently, with a cute face, that even if I wanted to, for some reason I couldn’t stay mad at her for having. I rubbed the back of my neck for a second. “It’s ok... in all honestly I wasn’t really scared... I just did that so you would stay and talk, instead of flying away and telling the police...” I looked away from her, just as her head turned towards me.“Police? We don’t have any Police in Equestria... We just have the Royal Guard.” She said, a little confused by what I had said. I raised my eyebrow and looked at her. “So those are the Royal Guards looking for me?” I asked her, which only made me even more confused. “I’ve heard about a “Princess” before, but Mac couldn’t tell me much about the Government. Said he wasn’t one much for Politics.” She gave the cutest giggle I’d heard before, which almost made me want to go- “daww....” But I didn’t.... that would have been rude... and unmanly.... “Yeah that sounds like Big Mac.... He’s not much for the Government, but he’s a lot smarter than he lets on. I Like to talk with him every now and then while I deliver their mail... although sometimes I gotta get Mac for help, because they seem to get a lot of trees in the mail...” She said thinking for a moment. I laughed lightly at that. “Oh so what? They get like a whole bunch of letters in the mail? Like a wagon full or something?” I said, not believing it was possible for someone to get that much mail. She just looked at me like, scrunching up her nose for a minute. “No... They get ACTUAL Tree’s in the mail.... Apple Tree’s shipped straight from all over Equestria... Most are from Appleoosa though.” She said nonchalantly, which shocked me a little. Who sent a tree in the mail? I thought to myself until I realized something. I didn’t even know who this... “Mare” I think the proper term is- was, or why she was here even! Eventually my curiosity got the better of me and I had to ask. Before I could though, she had beaten me too it. “I’m sorry about before but... Who exactly are you? And what are you doing here?” She asked me rather seriously. “Uh.... my name is Alex.... That’s kinda what most anyone I know calls me...” I chuckled a little uncomfortably, but continued on “and uh... well I was kinda told to come here to visit the towns Clock Keeper. Mac said he is mostly- and I quote- “One o’ them schol-ar-ly feela’s... thinks he’s a know it all... which Ah reckon he does.”” I said in my best imitation of Big Mac’s thoughts on the Clock Keeper. Apparently the mare thought it was funny, and began giggling. “Yeah hehe.... that sounds like him...” She said, quieting herself. “.... My name’s Ditzy Doo... but most call me Derpy Hooves.” She said her ears folding against her head as she said the second name, which lead em to assume she didn’t like it so much. “Oh... well, “Ditzy” how about you tell me why you are here anyway. I highly doubt you were here to deliver some invisible mail-” I said pointing to her empty mailbag, which was slouching on the floor beside her. She looked down and blushed a little, then looking as if she was trying to think of another reason. As least that’s what it looked like she was thinking of. “Uh... w-w-well... um... I uh... I saw you come in here! Yeah!-” She sounded more like she was trying to reassure herself, which only made me smile, knowing she was hiding something. She was obviously the Good Doctor’s companion, I could tell instantly just by looking at her. “So I uh- decided to follow you! Yeah! that’s right!” “.... Ditzy.... do you play poker?” I asked her a small grin on my face. “Uh... no... Why?” She asked thoroughly confused why I would ask this now.“Because... Ditzy Doo.... you have the worse pokerface I have ever seen.” I said chuckling lightly. ONce I was able to calm myself down, she was frowning at me, which was ADORABLE, the way her muzzle was all scrunched up. Which only made me laugh louder.Once she finally had me calmed down, I decided to just tell her what I already knew. “Hehe.... Alright, well how about I tell you the REAL reason you’re here.” I said, smiling lightly, putting my hand up to the Box. she only seemed confused at my offer of telling her why she was here, which was what told convinced me to continue on with my promise.“See this Box? .... Where I come from, there are legends and stories of a madman, brilliant in almost every way if not all of them. He is a traveler, a savior, and a guardian.... But he is also a “Lonely God” since those who know of his past, who were willing to speak about him, say that he is the last of his kind.... a race of amazing beings, smarter then every other, who were believed to be the first race in all of existence! .... A race called the “Time Lords” ....” I sighed in admiration. The Gods know I loved this kinda crazy, insane, and hard to understand (to everyone but myself) sci-fi junk, and I was certain I was geeking out.Then I realized I had never actually gotten to the point of the story, so I coughed and continued again. “Anyway! That madman was rumored to live in a Big Blue Police Box, much like this one here-” I said knocking on the door gently “and as he adventures throughout the whole of the Universe, he is said to take along a companion. These “Companions” are randomly selected by honest to god luck. Fortunately these companions are the kind of people who help hold him together after all the years alone, and who help him come to terms with who he is, and why he does what he does. But also those who help him understand what in means to be human, or a “Pony” in your case, and who help him on his adventures, as his companions, and assistants.” I said smiling lightly at the thought of actually joining the Doctor on one of his travels. So! I have come to the assumption that you- my dear Ditzy- Are the Doctor’s Companion! Since from first glance you have all the check-marks of meeting the Doctor, and being around him. That and the Key in your mane.” I said pointing to it for a moment. “Would I be right in guessing this?” I asked her kindly.She just looked at me for a moment, her eyes seeming to study me caringly for a second, then she her eyes opened slightly, as if realizing something, and looking away for a moment, as if she was about to cry.I sat there for a moment a bit confused as to why she was becoming so upset. “Uh... Ditzy? Are you-” before I could finish my sentence, I was bear hugged into oblivion, by hooves, and wings alike.For the longest time, she didn’t say anything, so I assumed I must have said something to upset her, so I tried my best to hug her back, and comfort her, as I tried to think of what I could have said to make her cry. “... I’m so sorry....” She said, which startled me out of my deep thought.I looked at her for a moment confused. “Huh? What are you sorry for? I’m the one who made you cry.” I said, as comfortingly as I could.She giggled which only confused me even more. “Hehe... you’re just as ignorant as him ....” She said with a giggle, and a sniffle. Then she continued “I’m not upset... you just reminded me of..... “him”” She said, motioning to the box for a momentI looked at her for a moment a little confused, then realized she was talking about the Doctor. “Ooohhh....” I said in understanding, then smiled at her for a moment. “Honestly I think it’s an honor to be compared to him.” I said, the grin on my face, making me look like some fanboy or something embarrassing I guess, because the next thing she did was giggle quietly. I turned to her looking at her confused. “What?” I asked, chuckling lightly. Dang her laugh was infectious.“Hehe... Your face.” She said, smiling lightly “You looked like you were about to meet your hero. Hehe...” (Told you so.) I couldn’t help but blush lightly. “Well... I try. Hehe....” I said with a sheepish smile.She giggled a little, but stopped and had a small realization. “Hey. How did you know my key was for TARDIS?” She asked me, a little confused.“Oh that’s an easy one! I didn’t.” I said giving her an extreme smirk of brilliance (and or insanity.) “That is until just now anyway.” I added in.I saw her stare at me for a moment (at least I could only assume so, with one of her eyes staring me down, and the other looking in a completely different direction) then face hoofed, very hard. “.... Ow” was all she said for a moment.I couldn’t help but chuckle lightly at this action, because of just how amazingly cute it actually was. Gods these ponies are just too cute for their own well being sometimes.... I thought to myself. “You alright? That seemed like that hurt a bit” I asked gently reaching my hand out to her hoof, and removing it from her face.She nodded and gave me a small giggle, which only made my heart melt. “So then... Is he home?” I asked her excitedly.Only her smile faltered a little bit. “Oh... He’s uh... Not here at the moment.... He was carried off to the castle by the Royal Guards. They said that they needed him for-” She was interrupted by a loud banging noise of hooves and armor running up the steps.“Oh! Sounds like the Royal Goons are here! Perhaps I should greet them?” I said with a (slightly) wicked smile. I ran up, and dove over the hatch, using my wieghit against them. “Ditzy! Unlock the TARDIS!” I yelled while I held down with about all 250 lb’s of me (and then some with my backpack).She quickly got up and pulled the key from her mane, letting it flow out quickly. She began fidgeting with the Key in her hooves, it going back and forth, trying to get it into the right position to insert it into the lock. “I-I got it!” She yelled out, and quickly came over to try and help me.“No! Get to the TARDIS!” I yelled, holding out my hand to her. “I’ll be right behind you! Just get in the TARDIS!” I said, holding my hand down to the handle on the hatch, pushing it down.She quickly nodded and ran into the TARDIS, shutting the door behind her. I looked at the hatch for a moment, wondering how the hell he was going to do this? Thankfully I was given an answer, because the next thing I know, a spear head protruded from the other side of the hatch. I smiled, “Hey thanks!” I yelled pulling the spear all the way through the door. It thankfully remained intact, so I assumed it was very durable, and since it was so long I jammed it into the handle of the hatch, and shoved the pointed end into the wall. It opened, but long just enough for their hooves to stick through. “Gentlemen!- and my lady~” I said Motioning to the TARDIS. “You shall alway remember this day!- As the Day you, Almost, caught Captain- Jack Sparrow!” I said, giving them a bow, and quickly moving for the TARDIS.That moment couldn’t have been any more glorious... if not for the fact that the Door, swung open, as soon as I walked up to it. “OW!” I yelled, holding my nose.“O-oh! Sorry! I-I-I Didn’t know-” Ditzy began.“No no... It’s alright... you didn’t break my nose, so it’s all good....” I said chuckling lighlty walking into the TARDIS.“A-Are you sure I didn’t break it? I mean, I did hit it pretty hard...”“Hehe... No, you didn’t break it... trust me I know what a broken nose feels like... I ran into a tree before.... twice... in one day...” I said, blushing a little, as I clamped my nose shut, just incase some blood decided to fall out. “.... The same tree....” I finished, before I noticed my surroundings. “..... Wow....” ..... I honestly couldn’t think of anything more to say. All of my amazing phrases, and lines, just stopped in my head.... It was the most beautiful sight I had ever seen. It honestly was, even if the console was Pony sized, it still looked amazing.She locked the door behind me, and stood beside me for a moment wondering what I was staring at. “Uh... Why are you staring at the console?”I didn’t register that she was asking me something until a few moments later. “... Huh? Oh, sorry... What did you ask me?”“I asked you why you are just staring at the console.” She said.“Oh.... Uh.... Honestly I uh... just kinda got lost in it for a moment....” I said looking back to it. I don’t know if I was imagining it or not, but I just... had this feeling, that I should just touch the console, just to be sure this wasn’t just some wild dream, with talking horses, and the mad Doctor. I slowly walked up to the Console, taking off my backpack, and buckling it up tightly to the pole at the top of the steps, knowing all too well what kind of “turbulence” happens when the TARDIS takes off. I knew I couldn’t pilot the thing, without possibly ripping a hole in the Space-Time Continuum, so I wasn’t even going to bother, plus the TARDIS might seriously hurt me for pushing her Buttons (literally.) But in the World of the Doctor, nothing was Impossible. Just... highly unlikely.I gently placed my hand on the TARDIS consoles side, the hum I felt before was now at least 3 times as strong as it had been. However, I quickly pulled my hand away, since the console had just become extremely hot. “Gah!” I looked at my hand, not seeing any burn marks, but jeez it hurt like a mother trucker! averted my eyes from my red hand to where it had just touched the console, and said the first thing that came to my mind. “.... Oh.... Well that can’t be good.” I stated dumbly.Where my hand had just been previously, sat a glowing imprint of my hand, with all the crevices being the only thing that showed the original metal of the console. One of the Monitors flashed to life, brightly saying “DNA scan confirmed” as everything began to whir to life. “Oh yeah... definitely not good...”The switch’s began to flick themselves upwards, and the knobs began spinning in wild crazy motions, as the levers began to fly upwards, and the center piece began to bob. “Uh... Ditzy? ... You might want to hang onto something.... I think we are in for a bumpy ride....” Oh man, did I wish I was wrong about the signs of the TARDIS take off Sequence. I wished that I didn’t actually know them by heart. I really wished I did.The TARDIS Made a loud Gong sound, when I noticed the big lever with the two rows of lights, still in the downward position. I quickly slammed my hand down on it, holding it back, and hoping to delay the process of take off. The TARDIS began shaking violently, and the Gong started turning into a groan. I knew this was probably hurting it- err.. “her” but I didn’t have much of a choice.Then the next thing I knew, the lever flung itself forward with so much energy that it flung me, headfirst, into the center piece, putting a decent sized crack into it. I groaned as the world slowly started to spin around widely. “Ow....” Was all I said, putting both hands to my head, trying to clear my mind.of the pain my brain was receiving.Then everything stopped shaking, and the TARDIS started with the gong noise again, seeming to calm down. “Ow.... Ditzy? ... Ditzy you alright?” I asked her unsure of where she was.“Uh, yeah.... Yeah I’m alright...” She said sounding a little dizzy. “I’m just a little Dizzy is all...”“Now before you say something, I will quickly tell you that this is a Recording, therefore I cannot reply to you directly. Infact, if you are seeing this, this means I am away from my TARDIS at the moment. Hehe” He chuckled again, which made me smile at how warm and overall welcoming he was being. “Anyway, I have a program that should be tracking me at this very moment. You activated it when you touched the console you see, DNA helixes, and whatnot.- Anyway my TARDIS should be bringing you directly to my location at this very moment.
