Griffin Pony war.

Distant gunshots and shouts with screams was all that was heard. Smoke and ash covering the ground. It was night we had been killing off few waves of griffins until the stopped showing up. My leg was finished from bleeding and had been sewed up the pain was as bad as getting shot and knowing of it when your adrenaline is not pumping.
"What time is it?" I asked crawling on the ground to not get spotted by the patrols that were going back and forth.

"23:30 hours sir." Bolt whispered. "We need to move faster. I said standing up and starting to gallop. I was stopped by the sight of flashlights and whispering between griffin guards. The guards were in the room next to us. "I'm going in." I said saying to mine and Spitfires team. I pushed the door open very slowly to easedrop on what was being said.
"You know that the thing is going to popping up very soon right?" A guard said to another guard.
"Yea but I'm still wondering what it is." A guard said.
"Legend says that it is a giant tunneling snake." Another guard said.
"Thats not the worst part of it." The 4th guard said.
"It has a mate as well." The 5th guard said.
"I also heard they are undead they were killed once and brought back to life by a uncicorn warlock." A 6th guard said.
"Atleast they can die." The first guard said.
"Yes even the dead need to be put to rest." I said walking in.
"What....what did he just do." Soaring asked.

"Either the bravest or stupidest thing I ever saw." Moonlight said aiming his gun into the room incase anything had happened.
"How are you here...." A guard asked me.
"You....you're..." The 2nd guard was trying to finish his speech before the 3rd guard popped up and aimed a gun at my head.
"You're a fool for coming here." He said.
"Easy there." I said turning around and disarming him.

"How did he do that by just kicking his hoof and touching your shoulder?" A guard asked.
"I come here in peace." I said to the griffin.
"In what?" He asked.
"Peace I'm not hear to fight." I said.
"How can I trust you?" The 1st guard asked.
"You can't but I all ready know much about this entire district of guards on this part of Manehattan." I said.
"What are you talking about?" The second guard asked.
"You all hate Gilda the only reason you're here is you are ex convicts accused of treason for helping us back durning world war 3 so it was that or fight for Gilda." I said to him.
"How do you know that?" The second guard asked again.
"Top clearence to everything in the files." I said.
"What do you wan't from us?" They all asked.
"Gather the rest of the troops in this disctrict those who wish to join me tell them to meet me back here those who refuse shoot them on the spot before you get accused of treason again." I said to all of the guards.
"What do you have instore?" Twilight asked pushing the door open.

"I'll tell you later." I said to her walking out the door.
"Soaring and Spitfire take your group with these griffins make sure if any of the royal guards of Gilda come shoot them on sight no questions asked you hear me and that is a order." I said to them. They nodded to me.
"What are planning to do?" Twilight asked me.
"Just wait and see." I said. After a few hours of constant raining and lightning and some mixed thunder they finally arrived.
"Sir I brought 300 guards that wanted to join those we just met a while ago." Spitfire said.
"Ok listen up here I know what you all are here for you did not want to be accused of treason so you joined the military I also know you all hate Gilda and wish here dead." I said. Whispers and nods were heard from all directions.
"We all will rebel from here reign of terror I say we because if she takes over Equestria we will all be miserable now I need you all to stand up and rise against her reign who is with me." I said glaring out into the crowd it was silent.

"I guess I came to the wrong part of town then...." I said quietly walking away outside into the rain.
"I will." I heard from a griffin.
"As with me." Another griffin said. Soon every griffin was ready to rise up against Gilda that was in the town.
"All right does any one know where to go to get to Gilda?" I asked.
"In less the 3 hours she is bringing all mobile soldiers to invade Canterlot Castle first." The 1st guard from before said to me.
"We need to move and fast it will take to much time to teleport all of us to Canterlot Castle we need to move fast." I said.
(Even if I did use the spell it would most likely kill me in the process.) I thought to myself.
"We need to move." I said rushing outside into the thunderstorm.

"You fools didn't think we were watching you this whole time." Gilda said.
"You I'll kill you before you even reach the castle." I said to her. I flew up to the ground but out of no where something popped out of the ground and slammed me into the ground.
"I have a secret weapon." She said to me.
"Was that the...." Moonlight said.
"Yes in fact it is the undead snakes." Gilda said to Moonlight.
"How do you even have control over them?" Twilight said.

"Don't ask." I said getting up getting up.
"How?" Fluttershy asked.
"I can't use fire spells to much rain for the soil our best bet is to freeze the water in the groundetting ready to charge for Gilda but she was gone.
"Now what?" Bolt asked.
"We fight." I said. The lighting pierced the sky making it light up only for a second to see how big the hole was left by the now undead worm.
"You're kidding we are going to fight this worm?" Twilight asked.
"No we just me." I said.

"That's impossible nopony not even an ex human can take down 40 times the size of them!" Rarity said.
"Trust me it's something I need to do to buy time for you all to get to the castle she is planning her assault earlier then I expected." I said rubbing the rain water out of my eyes.
"We won't make it in enough time." Dash said.
"Oh yes you will." I said pulling out an object out of my bag smashing it on the mud hard enough to crack the magical entities that came out of it.
"Goodbye and keep safe." I said teleporting them all to the castle.
"I all ready know what you are..." I said pulling out my gun.
"Do you really?" A cackling voice came out.

"Oh yes I do.....Discord." I said raising my gun out of the ground.
"Well then my dear child I think it's time we have a real battle this time let me throw some chaos into the mix unlike last war were you just shpt me after freezing your pony friends." Discord said smiling.
"It won't matter your weaker I can feel it your body is slowly fading from all the dis harmony you can cause.....my hatred how ever still burns." I said rushing into the half alive Discord. I was waiting for him to strike but nothing happened he just sat there.
"Fight me." I said to him.
"I'm sorry you were trying to attack me." Discord said. This fed my hatred even more but by the time I was done channeling Discord was about to even the score.
(The fire it's done I'll kill you.) I thought. I looked up and saw that we were in Celestia's castle.
"What the hell is going on here." I said looking around.
"Haha you thought I was going to fight you no this time I'm on your side I just played Gilda." Discord said to me.

"If you're lying I'll be the first to kill you." I said to him.
"So any news from....." Celestia asked.
"Besides the griffins that want to revolt and oh yea Discord is good now." I said to him.
"Oh and next time let me know we can get people on our side and don't lie about having an epic battle when we only had to fight off a few hundred griffins." I said.
"What else?" Celestia asked still looking at Discord.
"Just get every guard ready Gilda is on here way right now." I said to her.
