Prologue

"We need evact, now!"

BOOM

AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

"Sharp Eye! Nooo!"

I felt pain. All I felt was pain. And it was a lot of it. I look around, seeing the battlefield before me. Men dying and weapons firing. How did this all happen. How did I get involved into this mess. My friend was next to me. Kneeling down and shouting something at me.

"Ple..........m............don...........ie.........me!"

My eyes felt heavy. I think I'll take a nap.

1 WEEK PRIOR

I was in an armored suit. It was light blue. It was my infantry uniform. I was on an colony in sector 126. My best friend Edmundo stand beside me, wearing the same armor. We were always the best fighters in our platoon but why put both of us on guard duty.

"Hey Edmundo," I asked

"What?" he replied

"This sucks ass."

"Agree."

We continue to stand there. Just guarding something I don't even know. I hate guard duty.

"Foxtrot to Meow, over."

I look at my radio and answer,"This is Meow, over."

"Meow, bring your squadron to H.Q. , over"

"Right away," I replied. I look over to Edmundo."Looks like H.Q. wants us there."

We enter the base. Our commander was waiting for us. He was wearing a service uniform. Which has medals attached to his left side of his coat. I approached him.

"Commander Hathway?" I asked

He turned around to face me,"Ummm yes?"

"You called for us."

"Oh. How could I forgot," he said. Hathway was unlike most commanders. He always seem to be nice and gentle. I'm surprised that he made it to a high rank."Sergeant, you and your team are going to a foreign region of space. There are reports that a planet is present and it has plants and other signs of life. You got it?"

I stood still. Processing my brain of what he said. There is a planet with life? As in with animals and wildlife? Most the planets that the empire ever went to rarely have plant life. The only other planets with life are property of the Arinmus Republic.

"Ummmm....yes sir," I said.

"Good, move out."

Me and my friend walked down the hall. Heading towards an hangar for space transports and small fighters. I was finally excited that I can actually do a mission again. It's been a year since I was part of a military operation. I could see the rest of my team nearby a gunship. I smiled and wave.

"Hey guys!" I shouted.

They look at my direction and smiled,"Hey."

"So Meow, what's the news," one person asked. It was Merrisal. Our squad's medic. Our team consist of five people. The other two are Monkey Wrench and Sharp Eye. Monkey Wrench is our mechanic and engineer. Sharp eye is just our sniper."What's the news?"

I explained to them about the mission we're about to do. They seem shocked about this.

"For real?!" Monkey Wrench said in disbelief.

"For real," I answered.

"Holy shit. Do you know what this means?"Sharp Eye said.

"That we are the first team to go explore a planet with life," I answered. Sharp Eye Immediately went to the ship. He seems to be very excited to go there.

"Come on let's go!" he yelled.

We all got our equipment. Armor and weapons ready.

Six days and a long trip later

We're finally here. The planet looks rich with plants and there seems to be an good amount of water."We're here guys," I said. Everyone went to the window. Looking at the scene at total awe.

Merrisal's eyes widen looking at the planet."It looks so beautiful," she said.

"Preparing to land orbit," Sharp Eye shouted."You guys hold on to something."

I hold on to the closest thing at me. Everyone else did with the exception of Sharp Eye driving the ship. Sitting on a seat. I would call him lucky because he is sitting on the only seat of the gunship.

"Here.....we.....go!" Sharp Eye said. I could feel the turbulence rising. But I was startled when the speed of the ship burst.

"Holy shit!"

Twilight was enjoying her day. It was a sunny afternoon today. And a picnic was scheduled for an hour from now. She is a princess now but she decided to stay in Ponyville with her friends. Spike was at Rarity's house.Twilight was currently studying a book on 'The Ancient Pony Civilizations'. But her ears perk up when she heard a loud noise.

She look out a window. What she saw baffled her. A meteorite was falling through the atmosphere, it's heading towards the......badlands."SPIKE!" she yelled. She realized that Spike is at Rarity's store. Twilight rushed outside. Heading towards Spike's location.

"FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCKKKK!!!"I yelled. I realized of how terrified I was of dropping down.

We were nearing a forest of some sort. And it's giving me a chill in my spines.

"Aaaawwwwww, little baby is scared of falling," Merrisal teased.

"Now is not the fucking time!" I shouted.

The gunship was nearing the ground. We were all ready for a rough landing.

Twilight made it to the Carousel Boutique. Slamming the door open, she started her search for Spike. He's nowhere to be seen.'He must have went to get gems' Twilight thought. She then ran off to the outskirts of Ponyville.

The gunship landed and no one was injured obviously but just to make sure. Monkey Wrench was setting up a camp and everyone else was doing their job. Sharp eye was just adoring the scenery.

Seems like a normal forest...........but with glowing yellow eyes. It's like one of those scenes in a movie where people sees a creepy forest. I swear I heard a growl."Uh guys," I asked."Do you see a pair of glowing eyes looking at us?"

They were about to answer but a roar was heard."You got to be-"

Suddenly a hydra came out nowhere. A hydra!!!

It seems hungry and we seem to be its prey. It swipe its claw at me. I tried to dodge it  but the tip of the claw sliced through my armor and cut my abdomen. It continues to attack me but my teammates fired their rounds at it. Keeping it at bay.

"Man down!"

RATATATATATATAT

"Man down!"

"We need evact, now!"

The Hydra then fired a Fireball at Sharp Eye. Burning him alive.

BOOM

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!"

"Sharp Eye! Noooo!" Monkey Wrench screamed.

So here we are. My squad is now fighting a fire breathing hydra. I still feel pain. My friend beside me. Yelling something.

"Ple........m.........don......ie........me!"

I closed my eyes. I feel so tired. I think I should take a nap.
