The Unexpectable come reality
Rainbow dash sat quietly on her favourite puff of cloud whilst lookin into the sunset, with her deep magenta eyes glimmering towards the beautiful sight of pink slowly turning to a halloween purple above the suns ray. She sighs to herself as she yet again, thinks about the events of the past.
"I need him so much right now, I need to ask h.. " she was cut off from the sound of a voice behind her. "Hey beautiful" It sounded soft, caring, manly. There was only one colt in the whole of equestria who was all of the above. "SOARIN!!" Rainbow exclaimed as she jumped up from Lying on the cloud . She jumped into soarins arms and he spun around on the spot. After what seemed like eternity, he stopped spinning and put down the dizzy mare before embracing in a deep and caring hug. "I Missed you." Said dash as she buried her head into his side. "I missed you too" replied soarin before carfully pulling back from the hug. "I um..I actually needed to ask you something.." Said soarin whilst trying his best not to sound like a nervous wreck. "Hmm? " replied rainbow. She sounded normal but inside, she had the feeling she had on soarin for ages slowly releasing. Love.
After a few seconds ,both ponies noticed the rosey patches on each others cheeks as well as the sweat on soarins face and palms. "I-I-i w-w-wanted t-t" he was cut off by dash "t-t-today junior" they both laughed and Soarin gave a warm but nervous smile "I would like to know if you would like to g.." He was cut of by a loud thump in front of him and a puff of cloud floating in front of them. The cloud cleared and the figure of some pony he knew came to be. "Soarin!" It was spitfire, and she sounded angry.
lent in close towards soarin as he gulped. "You've got some explaining to do Soarin!" His eyes were looking straight ahead in fear. "Hey, lay off spitfire" dash spat out without thinking.
Stiff as a rock, spitfire turned around to dash. It took a second of staring at each other for her hair to burst into flames as she pounced at The rainbow maned mare. Soarin sit astonished without knowing what to do next to the big hustle of loose cloud, rainbows and flames. Rainbow dash was on top of spitfire, pushing her towards the cloud, with all fours on spitfires ,pushing them down. It didn't take long for spitfire to notice what would be the best option, and this would have to be the moment. She managed to slide out her back hooves and kick rainbow from underneath whilst holding onto her front hooves, causing her to flip over spitfire , off of the cloud . But instead of letting go, dash made sure spitfire went down with her. A little push plus a kick in the stomach for her would cause the same pain and same speed for the two to come plummeting to the ground.
And that's exactly what happened. Spitfire was scrambling around trying to open her wings whilst falling to her death. On the flip side, rainbow dash had been in so much pain she wasn't able to move. Finally coming to his senses by seeing his love plummeting to her death, Soarin finally noticed what was going on.
He threw himself off of the Cloud ,going at full speed towards the ground, a lighting bolt forming behind him. He flew down and grabbed onto dash whilst holding onto her tight, he cradled his wings around her to keep her safe after noticing they were goin to fast to stop before hitting the ground.
Dash finally woke only to see two watery emerald eyes pearling into her soul, in a loving and wonderful way. "OH THANK GOD!!" Soarin shouted as he lunged onto the hospital bed only to plant a warm hug on rainbow. She wanted to scream from the pain of Soarin jumping onto her broken ripcage, but she didnt want the moment to end.

After napping the whole day in the hospital, The two pegasi signed out and left. They were talking about what happened when they came to the part where Soarin was asking dash a question. "So what was that question you were asking me back there anyway soar?"
"Oh yeh!" Exclaimed soarin as he turned around to face rainbow. "Would you like to go on a date with me." Rainbow looked like she had just been invited to be a wonder bolt! She looked in awe at Soarin as he gave her his well known sweet,goofy smile that he wore so well."OF COUR-" she cut herself off before she made a fool out I herself by sounding too much like a fan " I sure will" she said as calmly as she could. " um dash?"
"Yesh?" She replied as her body started shaking. "You know you can let it all out now.." Said Soarin with a laugh. Without a response, rainbow did as he said. "OMIGOSHOMIGOSHOMIGOSH!"
Soarin laughed , but to his surprise she jumped onto him and ever so carfully, nuzzled his nose."so, where should we go and when " said Soarin as he blushed a little. "Well," replied dash" pinkies throwing a party tonight if you want to go there?"
"Sounds good! What time?"
"I'm pretty sure it's at 6:30pm "
Soarin looked surprised.
"That early? Huh that's not like pinkie!"They laughed
"yeh I know right " replied dash.
They both looked over to the sky where the sun was setting. "Oh my hay!" Shouted dash, " IT'S ALREADY 6:15pm!!"
Soarin looked surprised, "well let's go!" Dash gave him a quick hug and dropped to the ground to get ready to lift of at full speed .
Noticing what she was doing and remembering how fast she could go, Soarin quickly stopped her. " DASH , WAIT!" She pulled up and trotted over to Soarin. First thing shes did was say "ye-" but next thing, she was cut off by the soft touch of soarins lips, locked against hers. He put one hoof on her cheek as she sliped her hoof around his neck, whilst using the other hoof to balance.
They stayed like this for several minutes before dash pulled away for air. "Wow.." She said softly,"I was NOT expecting that."
"Ok." Said Soarin like a goof. "You can go now ".They said their goodbyes and both ponies left to get ready.
