Lotus's Secret Date

The purple clawed, green eyed figure then whispered, "Shh. We don't want your sister to hear us. Now, once I let go of your mouth, you promise to be quiet my dear Lotus." Lotus felt a hot crimson blush escape onto her cheeks as she nodded her head. The figure smiled, showing off his white clean fangs. He then let the claw, covering the spa ponies mouth, off of her and he slowly dropped her back onto the ground.

The blue spa pony looked up at the tall stranger, then she said, "I'm so glad you came. I don't know if I could have lived without seeing you again."

"It would only be for a day." The figure said, as he leaned himself downwards towards the earth pony.

"I know but.... but I love you so much Spike." Lotus said, as she looked at the grown up dragon. As she looked at him, up and down, Spike was a bit taller than the spa pony. He had a muscular chest as well as a six pack of abs, his arms were slim but not too buff like Snowflake. Spike could enter any door, since he wasn't too tall to enter any building. What covered his entire his chest abs, and part of his legs. Covering his chest was a green polo shirt and what covered part of his upper legs and waist, was a pair of black shorts with a green flame design.

And I love you too milady Lotus." Spike said, being charming towards the earth pony.

Lotus giggled at the comment Spike gave her. She then said, "Come we better get inside, so I can show you around the place before Aloe gets suspicious of me."

"Aww no kiss." Spike said, teasing Lotus. He puckered his lips and made kissing noises.

Lotus thought for a moment, Well it would just be a quick kiss. No harm can be done by that. Lotus leaned upwards, and pressed her blue lips against Spike's purple scaled ones. The kiss lasted for a minute before Lotus had to remove her lips from Spike's. Spike then put Lotus in a soft embrace, as he lifted her off the ground again

"Spike put me down." Lotus ordered the drake, as she struggled against his strong grip holding her.

"As my boss or my marefriend?" Spike questioned, teasing her.

"I don't want my sister to find out yet." Lotus said, as she began to smile. But then she covered mouth what she just said.

Spike became shocked, his eyes widening, and mouth hung a gap, as heard the words escape from Lotus's mouth. He put her down and looked at her dead in the eyes. "Aloe doesn't know about us?" Spike asked, trying not to sound disappointed.

"I'm sorry Spike. I want to tell her but she's been so busy lately. She's paying the rent of our apartment, paying the taxes of our shop, and she just gets so tired that she falls asleep at her desk most of the time. Most of the time when I come home, I have to carry her to her bed so she doesn't feel any back pain." Lotus replied, the ground now catching her attention. Spike put a claw under her chin, gently lifting her head up so she was looking at his emerald green eyes.

"I understand completely Lotus. You care for sister more than you care about gossiping about the most weirdest things. You rather wait till your sister is ready to listen to you. That is what I love about you. You should have been an Element of Harmony." Spike said, his honest word sinking into Lotus.

Lotus giggled at the Element of Harmony thing Spike said about her. She then asked, "What kind of Element would I be Spike?"

Spike chuckled a bit as he pronounced the name, "The Element of Careness."

Both Lotus and Spike laughed so hard that their stomachs began to hurt. The laughter went on for about five minutes, that is until a pink earth mare had her arms crossed against her chest, her hoof tapping on the ground impatiently. Spike and Lotus had ceased their laughter, as Aloe was giving them both a glare that could scare Timber Wolves back into their hiding places in the Everfree Forest.

"Um sister we were just... Um " Lotus tried to find an excuse as her sister kept her glare.

"Save it for later Lotus. I already know." Aloe said, her tone was filled with seriousness and dread.

Spike rubbed the back of his head nervously as he too tried to come up with an excuse. Aloe began walking towards the both of them, her steps slowly hitting the hard concrete. Spike and Lotus began gulping down the air in their throats as they prepared for the worst what Aloe was about to do to them.

Aloe stopped her walk about halfway, and she said, "Lotus....

"Yes Aloe?" Lotus said. Instinctively she closed her eyes. Spike did the same on instinct, he closed his eyes as well, waiting for Aloe to call them out.

You were trying to show Spike here, the back door entrance of the Spa Castle as part of the tour you were giving him." Aloe finished as she beamed a smile at them.

Both Spike and Louts opened their eyes, they didn't know they had closed them. And the both of them asked in unison, "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?"

The pink earth mare giggled at the both of them. She then asked "What? Was there something you two were doing back here that I should know about?"

"Ummm, nope, nothing. Nothing at all, Miss Aloe." Spike replied, lying to the pink earth mare standing in front of him.

"Then why were you hugging my sister then Spike?" Aloe asked, tilting her head to the side.

How about that I love your sister and you should be happy for the both of us. The drake thought to himself, as he began to think of what to say. "Ummm well you see... about that... umm I gave her a hug because... I.. I'm so positive that she and you would agree to hire me on the spot today." Spike said instead of giving into his inner thoughts. He hoped  that those words he spoke would convince the pink earth mare soon to be his boss.

"Oh. Okay then. Lotus I'll see you when your done. And Spike, Be careful about hugging my sister, me, or anypony. I know dragons are strong and they could easily crush any pony's bones." Aloe said, as she walked away from the duo.

Lotus looked at Spike and Spike looked back at Lotus. They both were at a lost for words as they tried to say something. Finally Lotus said, My sister can't find out about us yet."

Spike nodded his head in agreement, he then said, "But we must tell her soon otherwise we might get into trouble."

Lotus nodded as she agreed at the part Spike just said. She liked how Spike could remain calm and be wise in any bad situation. She absolutely, 100% guarantee, without a doubt in her heart, loved the dragon standing in front of her.

Both of them said in unison, "She must never find out yet."
