Daisy Claw and Rainbow Thunder are siblings. Daisy is the younger, a batpony mare, and what the batpony colony calls a shadowbat. Rainbow Thunder is a pegasus with control over lightning that he inherited from his father. When Rainbow decides to join the Celestial guard, a group of shadowbat hunters destroy their home, kidnap their mother, and kill their father, and the dragon war hits its peak their lives are turned upside down.
