"Oh god!" Rarity shrieked
"whats up?" Rainbow Dash blurted, swiftly turning on her back hoofs
"oh no! its happened, i knew this was a bad idea!" Rarity howled
"you alright Rarity" shouted Apple Jack from down the field, she galloped up the steep hill, a long stride at a time, really showing her athletic ability "i heard a scream!" AJ declared
"look!" she pointed at the boots she was wearing, glossy pink wellingtons
"their ruined, just ruined!" she whaled
"Rarity, their fine! whats the biggie?" asked Dash
"WHATS THE BIGGIE, YOU ASK! MY BRAND NEW DESIGNER WELLINGTONS ARE RUINED, JUST RUINED!!" she stomped
" their fine, just a bit of mud!" AJ tried to calm her down
"thats the thing, mud, i hate it" she stated
"Rarity, were in a field, you wore wellingtons to protect your feet from mud, they've don their job, dont complain." AJ sighed
"thats easy for you to say, your wellies are highly out of fashion and plastered in cow dung" she muttered
"What was that?" asked Dash
"it doesnt matter, lets just get this stupid walk over and done with!" she said with a vicious tone
"Rarity this is meant to be fun!" said AJ starting to get annoyed
Rarity said nothing, she stomped up the hill
"sometimes i wonder what made her hare nature so much" AJ whispered to Dash
"i agree" Dash replied
Rarity wore a pair of glossy baby pink wellingtons, with a matching raincoat, clearly not needed on a day like it was, the sun shone like a gem, clouds dappled the sapphire sky, and the grass in the green meadows glowed like an emerald, it was a perfect day to go for a stroll, Applejack however, wore a saddle bag with small useful bits and peaces; a pen knife, a torch, a match box and some fire lighters, the pack was a dull grey, and strangely suited her, she wore matching pale green wellingtons, plastered in mud and dung, Dash wore a pair of faded red wellies, with numerous holes in them, she also carried a sweet wood-knitted basket, full of picnic foods and a blanket.
they plodded along, admiring the scenery
"oh gosh, not again!!" Raritys shrill shriek came again
"what is it now?" asked AJ, her tone was hard and annoyed
"look, whats on them now?" she pointed to her glossy boots, they were no longer that glossy
"its just a bit of mud!" declared Dash
"Rarity, im sorry to say, but that is not mud......." AJ winced at the reaction she was going to get
"AHHHHHHH, no, i wont believe it, uchhhhhh, get it off of me" Rarity moaned, she frantically wibed her boots on the grass, turning the lush flakes, a deeper, more brown shade.
"THAT IS IT, RARITY, ME AND DASH HAVE PUT UP WITH YOUR COMPLAINING ALL DAY, AND I AM SICK AND TIRED OF IT, IF YOU DONT PULL YOUR SOCKS UP AND GET A HOLD OF YOUR SELF, I WILL LEAVE YOU HERE TO ROT!" the words escaped from AJ's mouth before she could stop them, she was furious, you could tell by the tone of her voice, full of rage.
Dashes mouth dropped, Raritys face fell, she turned around, and burst into tears
"look.......im s-s-sorry" she summered, she put her arm around Rarity "its only, i want you to enjoy this as much as i do, so just try to!" she smiled
Rarity showed no sign of forgiving her, she turned her head away, and began to trot up the hill.
