An odd request
It was a bright and beautiful day in the crystal empire. The sun was out and shining, fillies and colts were outside playing, and Twilight Sparkle was on her way to see one of her best friends. Princess Cadence. Twilight had been contacted by Cadence and asked to come visit her while her husband, Shining Armor, was in Canterlot for top secret royal guard reasons.
“I wonder why Cadence asked me to visit.” Twilight wondered aloud to herself as she entered the Crystal palace.
“I hope it’s not a matter of saving Equestria like my visits with her always seem to be centered around.”
Twilight began to trot along the long hallways of the palace towards Cadence’s personal chamber. Then she realized something rather strange. She had to let herself into the palace. She continued to walk through the palace and noticed something. It was empty. No Crystal empire officials, no visitors, there weren’t even any guards to be found.
“Well this is odd.” Said Twilight. “Usually this place is packed with ponies.”
After a rather lengthy walk, it was a large palace after all, Twilight reached Cadence’s personal chamber. She raised her hoof and gave the door a good two knocks. Not one which would come off to someone as just some noise nor three which would seem overzealous. Just two Twilight’s ideal knock. She waited a little bit and when there was no response she knocked again. Then after about thirty seconds of waiting knocked a third time. Still no response.
“What is going on?” Twilight said aloud. “First nopony is in the palace and now Cadence won’t answer her door. Maybe she’s out right now I did arrive early. Oh well I’ll just let myself in, I’m sure Cadence won’t mind.”
Twilight opened the door and trotted in and when she stopped to look around at Cadence’s chamber she was confused to say the least.
“What did she do to her Chamber?” Twilight said as she explored the room. “It’s a it’s a…….”
“It’s a nursery.” Said a voice coming from the entrance.
Twilight turned around and saw Cadence standing in the doorway with full saddlebags at her side.
“Cadence!” Twilight shouted with glee. “How are you?” she said as she began to hug her friend.
“I’m Great Twilight, how are you?” She replied.
“I’m good” She said as they finished their hug.
The two began to catch up on casualties as Cadence put away the two packs of diapers she had just bought.
“So everything’s going well in ponyville?” asked Cadence.
“Yeah same old same old you know how it is.” Twilight responded while kicking her hooves around the ground wondering if Cadence was going to address the dragon in the room.
“It’s okay Twilight you can ask.” Said Cadence.
“Ask what?” Twilight said trying her best not to seem intrusive.
“About why I asked you to come here” said Cadence.
Twilight was perplexed. Why would she think that’s what I’m curious about.
“Didn’t you just want to catch up with me?” Twilight asked while Cadence began organizing things around the nursery.
“No. The truth is I asked you to come over in hopes that you could do something for me.” Cadence said as she made the blankets in the crib.
“Sure I’d love to.” Said Twilight pleasantly.
“You don’t even know what it is yet.” She said while laying a mat on the changing table in the corner of the room.
“It doesn’t matter,” Twilight said, “I’d do anything for you.”
“Really.” Said Cadence. “Anything?”
“Uhhh yeah,” Twilight said “Why wouldn’t I?”
“Well it’s just this request is a little odd.” She said as walked towards Twilight.
“Well what is it?” Twilight asked.
Cadence stood face to face with Twilight and using her magic she brought over a diaper and pacifier and began to levitate them in Twilight’s face.
“I want you to let me foal sit you. You know like how we used to do.” She said as she smiled nervously.
Twilight looked at cadence with a confused look. Short of words from the odd request she pushed the diaper and pacifier away from her face.
“Uh I’m afraid I don’t quit get your’ meaning Cadence.” She said.
“Oh I’m sorry you’re uncomfortable. I shouldn’t have asked.” Cadence said as she turned away and put the baby things away.
“No Cadence,” Twilight said as she reached a hoof onto Cadence’s shoulder, “I’m not uncomfortable. I just don’t know what you mean by ‘foal sit’.” Cadence turned around towards Twilight with a sad look on her face.
“Well you see Twilight Shining Armor and I have been trying to conceive….”
“What that’s great I’m going to be an aunt,” Twilight interrupted,” oh how exciting when does it arrive? Do you know the gender? Have you got ideas for names?” Twilight stood there with an eager look on her face smiling as Cadence began to speak again.
“ugh” Cadence sighed. “Twilight I said ‘trying’. For a long time now too. And we’ve come up with nothing.” Twilight’s smile turned to worry some look.
“Well what’s the problem?” Twilight asked.
“We don’t know exactly but, we do know it’s not happening anytime soon. That’s why I invited you here. It’s why no one is here and why I waited for Shining Armor’s business trip. I didn’t want you to feel embarrassed.”
“Embarrassed about what?” Twilight asked.
Cadence pulled Twilight close and sat her down. The alicorn slowly began to run her hoof through Twilight's purple mane.
“Embarrassed about being my foal.” Cadence said
.
Twilight looked up with concern. “What do you mean foal?” Twilight asked.
“I mean I want to take care of you Twilight.”
“Huh?”
Cadence pushed Twilight back and with both hooves on her shoulders looking her in the eyes said.
“Do you remember when you were young Twilight. When your only problem was trying to decide what to play. When everyone around you took care of everything.”
Twilight kept eyes locked with Cadence as all this talk began to make her nostalgic. She thought back to when she was about four, her earliest memory, when all she did was have fun. When life was easy.
“I remember..... I guess” Twilight said.
"Wasn't it so much better back then?" Cadence asked.
"I suppose so." Twilight replied.
“So let me take you back there. Let me take care of you.” Cadence said as she brought Twilight into her chest giving her embracement.
“What exactly do you mean when you say ‘take care of me’?” Cadence stood both of them up and took Twilight by the hoof.
“Let me show you.” Cadence said as she lead Twilight to the changing table. “Up you go.” Cadence said as she lifted Twilight onto the mat.
“Cadence what are mpf….” Twilight was cut off by a pacifier.
“Shhhh no big girl talk Twily.” Cadence said. “Just leave your binky in and do what comes natural.”
Twilight looked at cadence her eyes wide with wonder as she stared sucking on the pacifier. She thought about spitting it out but, found she couldn’t after a couple sucks it started to feel comforting. Soothing. As if all her worries had just went away. It wasn’t long before she enjoyed it. She began to smile through the shield as her sucks became more frequent. This caught Cadence’s attention.
“Awwww does my little Twily like her binky?” She said while unfolding a diaper with her magic. Twilight had closed her eyes and was so busy blissfully sucking her pacifier she didn’t notice Cadence slide the diaper under her flank. Cadence began to sprinkle baby powder over Twilight’s private. She then began to gently rub the powder in. This snapped Twilight out of her paci trance.
“What are you doing!” She said as her pacifier slipped out of her mouth. “Don’t touch me there.”
Before she could say another word the pacifier was shoved back in her mouth and held in place by cadence’s magic. Cadence then approached Twilight.
“Good little girls need to lay still while their being changed or they’ll get in trouble.” Cadence continued to diaper Twilight. “Do you understand baby?” She taped the diaper together and pulled Twilight up so she was sitting up. “Do you understand?” Cadence asked again firmly. Twilight nodded the pacifier still being forced into her mouth by Cadence’s magic.
“Good girl” Cadence said as she lowered her magic from the pacifier. “Now be a good girl and keep you binky in unless I say otherwise.” Twilight nodded as cadence took her down from the changing table.
“Aaaawwwww you look so adorable Twily.” Cadence said as Twilight stood there diapered and pacified. “Why don’t you waddle around a little bit for me?” Cadence asked. Twilight blushed and began to waddle around the nursery. The diapers puffiness caused her to stumble while Cadence watched she couldn’t help but laugh. She continued to waddle around until Cadence pulled her close and began to hug her. This made Twilight blush even more. She was embarrassed but for some reason didn’t really care. She kind of liked it. She liked being held tight by Cadence so she rested the side of her head on her chest. Cadence began to rub her back and started to hum a lullaby. Everything just felt right. She felt safe in the diaper and the pacifier she had continued to suck made her feel calm. She began to feel tired and closed her eyes slowly closing in cadence’s embrace.
“Good Twily.” Said Cadence as she lied Twilight on the play mat to let her sleep. She walked to nursery’s exit and before she left she looked back at Twilight smiling. She watched her laying on the floor diapered and peacefully sucking her binky. She finally had a baby to look after.
“Good night Twily.” Cadence said as she left the nursery.
“Night night Mommy” Twilight said half asleep through her pacifier.
