//-------------------------------------------------------// Silence of the gods -by griffin_killer1- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Pinkie Pie.info/log.StarWishes //-------------------------------------------------------// Pinkie Pie.info/log.StarWishes My name is Star Wishes, to begin with. I live in Equestria, where exactly is a secret. I am one of the last surviving ponies of the Operation L experiment, and this is how it all went down. A beam of light lit up the abandoned shop, casting all shadows aside. It came from a fellow unicorn of mine, though I don't recall his name at the moment. We were here on one mission: find and capture Pinkamena Diane Pie, kill only if necessary. I pulled a lantern out of my satchel and filled it with oil, just in case. These type of missions were dangerous, and your own unicorn light might go out of magic. "This way.", I called to my team. When I saw how trusting they were of my leadership, I swear my heart tore. I couldn't bear the thought of what will happen when they reach the bottom of the basement. If you couldn't tell, info base,  I am talking about the one and only Sugarcube Corner. One of the highest ranking, most wanted ponies is in here, and shers absolutely insane. But she's smart. Every team that has come down here has been recieved as a negative entry in our logs, and nopony has seen them since. But that's where I come in. "Come on, ponies, move! We don't have all day! Every second you hesitate, Sunny gets closer to death!", one of my teammates whispered. Sunny Flicker, a pegasus, got trapped down here with the last team. She was spared and used as bait for us. For me. Sunny is my half-sister, meaning she is also my weakness. I hung to the back, and only when everypony went downstairs, did I follow. We reached the bottom of the stairs pretty quickly, so we put our weapons on full charge and loaded them. I loaded mine, but didn't charge it. I hate guns. Have I mentioned that? All they do is bring death, so on a 'death only if necessary' mission, I couldn't use mine anyway. Not that I would anyway, but that's beside the point. Suddenly, the lights began to flicker. We all started pointing our guns in different directions, at least they did. I set mine down and melted into the shadows. After I was sure they couldn't see me, I made my way to the deepest part of the basement, where I saw my sister, tied up and gagged. Probably drugged, too, but I didn't care. She was alive. I took a step towards her, but stopped when I felt a cool blade against my neck. "Ah, ah, ah. Not so fast. I did my part, you do yours." Pinkie came into view and held out her hoof, which I filled with a CS card. She smiled and backed off, letting me run to my sister. We both hugged each other and I cried. Eventually, I let go and walked over to Pinkie. "I-I'm ready.", I said to her. She grinned and trotted off, returning with an apron and a face mask. I put them on the walked over to Sunny. I dragged her to a corner and put noise-blocking headphones on her so she wouldn't hear anything, under instruction of Pinkie. I wondered why...then I found my answer a second later. Pinkie put the CS card into a computer, and screams of my once-teammates echoed once though the room, then faded. Bodies were heard being dragged then strapped down. I came into the room Pinkie was in, or should I say, Pinkamena. Info base, just so you don't get confused, Pinkie Pie has two personalities: Pinkamena, her more insane and murderous side, and Pinkie, her (somewhat) sane and less murderous side. The way she switches is much like Gollum from Lord of the Rings. One second, good and innocent, the other murderous and insane. While Pinkamena had her fun with my main unicorn, I faced another of my ex-teammates. The way she was strapped down before me, drugged and at my complete mercy, it didm't seem right. How could Pinamena do that, seeing them like this? The least she could do was give them a sword and duel them for their life. Most of my teammates would lose, anyway, but at least they could have the determination of winning. I looked around the room. Since I was to be here awhile, I might as well get used to my surroundings. In the corner, there were several large torture devices. I was impressed, because most of these devices were held in the human world, and would cost a fortune to get. In another corner, the smaller, easier devices sat. Among these was a cat's paw, one of my favorite training tools. But unfortunately, this paw wasn't meant for training. I'm rather ashamed of what I did next. Since there was so much to do, I gathered a few ponies and put on on the Rack, which was automated, one on the headcrusher, also automated, and one on a low-charge electric chair. I hung up a stallion by his hooves on a hook hung from the ceiling, but made sure he was spread out. It so happened that he was actually one of my competitors, so it was a relief to...you know. I faced his back and lightly scratched it with the paw. He started to cry, from fear and from the pain of his comrads. Their screams echoed through the halls, and soon his joined theirs as I began to skin him. After about an hour, all of the ponies were dead but one. I totally forgot about him, so while I tortured the others he had been freed from his bonds and grabbed a sword (don't ask me, I have no idea how a sword qualifies as a torture device.). "W-Why are you doing this?" He held the sword to my neck, but he was weak. Oh, so weak. The sword quivered in his hoof as he held it. I almost felt sorry for him. In one, swift movement, I swept the tool out of his hand and it clattered to the floor. I backed him up to the corner and he fell down, crying. I paused, but not for long. I slashed his neck for a mercy kill and his body slumped to the floor. I stood up straight and looked around. What the hell did I just do? I had murdered, no, tortured my teammates. They had friends, family, lovers. And I did that so save one life. Was this all really worth it? Helping Pinkamena do her work just to save my sister, my only family? Which way should I choose? Saving hundreds anonymous or just one important? Pinkie came in the door as I had these thought in my head and congratulated me. She said I killed five ponies in less than an hour. What an accomplishment... This is all I got down today, but I'll be sure to write more in the days to come. Here's what happened: We saw this couple, a strange couple, really. On was a stallion (earth) and the other was a mare changeling! I've never worked with a changeling, but Pinkie said it's a waste of time. Their skin is so thick and hard they would die before you could even start to work. But that didn't stop me. I got the pony in, at least. He was quite a beautiful creature. His coat was spilt in half, one black, the other white. On either side, were three dots of the opposing color, much like the yin yang symbol, but with three dots. His eyes were the strangest thing. Every second, they seemed to change color. Then there was the issue with his 'mark. When I first fought him, I didn't really take notice, but when I strapped him down, I realized something. He didn't have a cutie mark. I was so estatic! I had finally found an adult without a 'mark on their flank, just like me! I danced around the table a giggled. Then I made a move to wake him and stopped. I found another like me and I was about to kill him. The shod of it sent me crumpled to the floor. See, I was starting to get the hang of this killing thing, but the pony I used to be sometimes got in the way and shoved emotions in my face at the worst of times. Like now. He came to about an hour later. He was very groggy, and didn't notice what a bad situation he was in at first. He talked to me, probably thinking I was that mare I saw. "R-Rosa? Where are we? I thought You were going to show me where...where..." He blinked and looked around. "Huh." He noticed me and laughed. "Talk about awkward, huh? You, sent to kill me, and I wake up talking about my marefriend. Sorry about that." He grinned at me. "I didn't know that Sundancer hired such pretty mares." Dammit. He made me blush. He smirked. "Name's Domino. What's your name, lass?" He caught me off guard. Nopony had really talked to me when I did this, much less ask things. I stumbled across the words but it was good to hear them. "M-My name...is Star Wishes." Domino smiled and cocked his head thoughtfully. "Star Wishes, huh? I thought I recognized you. Leader of the last team departed for Sugarcube Corner, thought dead. Well, at least not anymore." He stared at me for a few minutes. "She's blackmailing you, isn't she?" I stumbled back from the table. "H-How-?" He sighed. "Lass, it wasn't hard. You had a job that you were pretty much fired from, and no family save your sister. With my amazing deductive powers, I narrowed it down to blackmail. She gets your sister, and tells you to get something for her. In turn, your sister lives, but you are prisioner. Question is, what did you give her?" He stared at me, waiting. Silence was his only answer. After that, he took a more personal approach. He told me of his life, his job, everything. I also found myself opening up the scab of my life. It was amazing. We went from me being the killer on top and him, the victim on the bottom, to equals in a matter of minutes. I was happy for one of the first times ever since I came down here. At least, I was until Pinkie came in. We heard a slight chuckle at the door. "Making friends, are we?" Pinkie stepped into the light. She smiled at Domino. "Aren't you supposed to be somewhere else by now? I would have thought you of all ponies would try not to do this kind of thing, you know. Star isn't supposed to-" Pinkie realized I was in the room and stopped, but started again. "Anyway, you know what needs to happen now." Domino nodded, and with that, Pinkie shot a scalpel at his head, hitting him almost dead center. His body slumped to the floor. I was in a shock. What the actual buck had just happened? After that, I vaguely remember what happened. All I know is that I went to bed and continued work the next morning. I have to sign off, but I fear my logs are numbered. Pinkie's been acting...strange lately. I can't tell, but somethings up with her. See you. (I also found some notes on chemicals and how they affect pony's skin. Trying to help, info base?) I have a confession, info base. I think I'm beginning to develop the Stockholm Syndrome. I find myself thinking about Pinkie romantically almost all the time, and I am starting to spy on her as she works. It's embarrassing, but the worst part is that she knows. I was doing my routinely check on our prisoners when I heard Pinkie singing. She had a lovely voice. I remember she was singing, 'Cupcakes' from her acting days. I leaned into the room she was in and almost gasped. There, on the table, was Spike! I thought he was dead after all these years. He had grown a lot since the last time I saw him, but...It just made me so happy to see him I cried. Pinkie must've noticed, because she waved me in with a smile on her face. She even had her hair done all poofy-like. Apparently I wasn't the only one happy to see him. When I walked in, Spike looked at me with wide eyes. No wonder. My coat had turned completely white from a bleach incident awhile back, and I had cut my now-neon green hair a different style. Luckily, I still had my horn, but even that had changed. "S-Star? Is that you?" Spike stood and crawled over to me. He held my face up by my chin and smiled at me. I smiled back and hugged him. After that, we all sat down and talked. Pinkie brought out cupcakes, but I didn't eat them until she said it wasn't her 'special' recipe. You can never be too sure with her. Spike stayed for a few days, so we weren't able to do our work. See, Spike didn't know of Pikie's 'hobby' yet. If we told him now, he'd most likely run and tell everypony. But he wouldn't escape. Pinkie would catch him and kill him without a moment's hesitation. She could kill friends, but I can't. It would break my heart if I did, and I'd end up like Pinkie. But one night, it got awkward. I was alone with Spike in our living room. We did the normal chit-chat, but then Spike out a bomb down. "I know what you guys do." Those six words struck fear in my heart. Now what? "I guess I'm okay with it, but that's part of the reason I came." He turned to me. "Star, things are getting worse. The Elements have all turned, all except Twilight. You were friends with her, remember? She needs your help, Star, and your sister's too." I bit my lip, thinking. This I already knew, but ignored. Spike must have sensed this, and he smiled. "Or is there something else here at work? I know that you're the last surviving member of the Operation L, so you report everything to her, so you had to have noticed this." He stared into my eyes. Then he switched to a softer tone of voice. "You love her, don't you?" The sound of a pan dropping on the floor echoed through the room. Spike and I turned to see Pinkie standing in the doorway with cookies at her feet with an extremely surprised look on her face. Te she turned and ran. I think she was crying. After that, Spike left pretty soon, promising to return in a month with more information. I waved goodbye, but hoped he would stay. He was the only link to the real world that I had, and he left. Sigh. I still haven't talked to Pinkie yet, for she's still in her room. I've tried to give her something to eat, or try to appeal to Pinkamena by saying I saw some sightseers, but to no avail. This is what's terrifying me. I don't know how she'll react. How much did she hear? Does she hate me for still following Operation L? Will she kill me for it? and lastly, Does she share my feelings? These are the questions tormenting my mind, ion base. I bid you a good night. Hello, info base. I feel like the happiest mare in the world right now. So, I found Pinkie shares my feelings. About three weeks after the incident, she came to where I was sharpening my tools and told me how it was love at first sight with me. At first, it was awkward for the first few days, but we got more into it, like lovers that kill together in a way. I have that going on, but I should add I have body changes, in case I come back. I am no longer a unicorn. A blast from my kin destroyed most of the the magic within, so I had Pinkie remove it. My coat is pure white, and my hair is neon green with a slight angular cut to it. Just thought I might mention it. Anywho, we came upon this couple who were sightseeing. We caught them with no trouble, but I still felt kind of bad, what we did. I performed the boil exercise, thanks to Domino's help, and we laid them on their sides so their body fluids would drain faster. It was even crueler that we had them facing each other, so they could see each hoer's pain-filled eyes as they were killed slowly. The skinning process was harder than expected. These two were pegasi, and extremely muscled. The boils helped, but not much once they were all popped. I had the mare. She kept whimpering and flapping her wings, trying to get away, but I had strapped her down so tight so couldn't move much anyway. Pinkamena had the stallion, who was much more, say, forceful. He kept yelling that he would report us and that this was against the law and yadda yadda yadda. Pinkie shut him up fast when she cut his voice box out. I'm happy to say these two lasted longer than most. We were able to experiment different ways of removing muscle before death, and it proved quite successful. They did have a peaceful death, though. I gave them a drug that sent them to sleep, but overdosed so they wouldn't suffer more. I'm okay with a few hours of fun, but I couldn't mentally handle a few days. I suppose since it's about midnight here, I should sign off. Well, I'll see, or rather, report to you tomorrow, database. My life right now: confusing, sad, and completely and utterly bucked. I'll recap for you. I woke to the smell of smoke in the air. At first I thought Pinkie had burned another batch of muffins (She'll never get the hang of those things down, but she won't stop trying it...). So I went to go take them out. But there wasn't a fire. Hell, there wasn't a kitchen! All there was, is a hole leading to our work room, which, by the way, was on fire. Shit. I dashed to the room and tried to use the hose (don't ask), but the water had all evaporated. I stood there, watching it float to the rafters with fire all around me. Sounds kinda cool, now that I think of it. After screwing around with the mist, I realized that our prisoners were still in their cages. And Pinkie! I haven't seen her yet. I won't say I was romantic, going to save Pinkie, but I ushered all our prisoners out and went back in lastly for Pinkie. Don't judge me, it seemed right at the time. Now I'm hating myself, because I might've saved her. She might have been standing next to me, talking to me, anything. Hell, I'd welcome Pinkamena in her rage mode right now. So, I turned the corner to Pinkie's room and stopped. There, laying on the floor, was Pinkie.  Standing over her was a pony with a smoking gun above her head. The figure looked at me then barged past me into the fire. I turned to Pinkie. She had a...she had a bullethole through her head, most likely a pistol, from the looks of it. I must've not heard the shot when it fired... I stood crying over her body for a few minutes, but realized that oh, I don't know, there was A BUCKING FIRE. I won't say I was calm. After all, I had just found my lover dead and the smoke was getting to my head. Panicked, I picked up her body and heaved it over my back then began galloping around, trying to find a way out. The exits were blocked, all of them. Smoke began to fill my lungs and I fell to the floor, dazed. I wished my death would come swiftly. I floated in and out of consiousness until I heard a voice. "Oi, there! You gonna sit there all day? Come on, we got to move!" A dark figure jumped down from our ceiling, putting Pinkie on his back and heaving me up. He led me through the maze of fire, on which he somehow maneuvered. I'd question it, but honestly, I didn't care about how we went out, just as long as we did. When we reached the sunlight, I took a few deep breaths and laughed at the sky. I had survived! I turned to look at my savior then halted. There was no way. H-he was supposed to be...There was just no way... His black hair shone in the light of the sun. He was using his trademark smirk, but that only added to the impossible. My mouth hung open at the sight of a stallion from the dead, Domino. "You okay, lass? You're looking a bit funny." He trotted over to Pinkie and sat next to her. "What a poor lass this one is. She put on that excellent mask, but she was still hurting inside. Shame what happened, really." He sat there in silence for awhile before I broke the silence. "Pinkie was talking to you like she knew you. Did she?" He stood up and grinned at me, but his eyes told the truth. "Spoilers, mate." He was so sad, it almost broke my heart. His character never broke while we went to Canterlot, but every time I looked in his eyes, just...the sadness was heartbreaking. Sometimes he would talk about things like I knew them, and laugh at jokes I never got. It was...strange, to say in the least. Was I missing something? Did I know this stallion somewhere? Millions of questions danced around in my mind, but one stood out. "Domino, how are you alive?" Domino suddenly stopped talking and halted the cart holding the body. He thought for a few minutes, then he replied. "It's a little hard to explain, but I'll try to summarize it for you. When I was in the royal guard, the original royal guard, mind you, we went through certain training. But during one of these training sessions, me and my friend got hurt. Bad. My forehead was cut through, and I don't know how I survived. My friend's heart was shot with a piece of metal from an explosion." He was silent for a minute there. "That's when I started calling myself Domino. That was my friend's name. He was an amazing changeling, he was." Domino shook his head. "But that's besides the point. They re-did my skull, making it all iron. So when Pinkie shot at me, it only gave me a minor concussion, one bad enough to just knock me out. By the way, where did she learn to throw like that? Her form was amazing, and her force...Actually, I don't think I want to know." Domino picked up the cart again and started walking. I hurried to catch up with him, still asking questions, to which most he answered. I did ask him one which gave me a strange feeling of...hope, I guess you would say. "What's your real name?" He had to think on that a little bit. "You'll find out sooner or later, so I might as well tell 'ya. My birth name is Simon. My mother was a bit daft, using a human name, but now I've just learned to accept it. I had a last name, but over the years I stopped using it, which made me lose it in my memory as well. My mum's still alive, but she's still crazy. She goes on these strange rampages occasionally on how it 'wasn't fair using her as a test subject' or 'my brother is so stupid', but she's never told me about any family that lives in Equestria. That's more or less my story. But you really haven't said much about yourself, lass. Care to fill in? We have a few more hours." He looked at me with curious eyes. What would I say? I couldn't bare my soul to him, not after what I've seen and done. What was there to tell, anyway? "There's not much. I'm just your standard pony with dreams and ambitions. The only family I have is a half sister, and I'm not even sure of that. I was dragged into the army when I was a filly, and I was trained to take orders. I was sent to exterminate Pinkie, but...I think you know the rest." I looked shamefully at the grass. The clatter of the wheels stopped and Simon lifted my head with his hoof. "Mate, I don't blame you for what you did. I probably would've done the same thing. You just can't sacrifice family, even if it's only a half of one." He smiled and pointed in the distance. "See? We're almost there!" With a sharp cry of 'whoo-hoo', Simon began to run towards the gate. Laughing, I chased him and we arrived at the gate, panting heavily, but still managing to laugh. Once we caught our breath, we took in the amazing sight. Houses and shops alike towered above us, looking majestic and regal. I could use so many words to describe Canterlot, but there is truly one word for it: breathtaking. Info base, I'm running low on data room, so I'll need to convert. It'll take about a week to convert it to a new file save, but I'm sure nothing will happen, right?
