The time of the royal sisters' ascension is drawing near. With everything in the greater plan now coming together, it's time for a new sun to rise in Equestria.
Equestria's history is shrouded in mystery. Even Princess Celestia has only ever mentioned things that happened one thousand years ago or later. Now, before the sisters' very eyes, Equestria's darkest secret has surfaced after six thousand years, and while this may seem like a horrible tragedy, his return is only the start of a new age. Heroes will rise, villains will fall, and when Equestria's loose ends are tied, a new era of prosperity will begin for the land and all who dwell in it.
Story 7 of the Virtue series.
This story is the finale of a seven part series. However, you don't necessarily have to read stories 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6. The important and relevant events from each story are recounted in this fic, so I would only suggest reading them all if you actually want to.
