Chapter 1: The Allegiance to One, Betrayal to the Other
~The Allegiance to One, Betrayal to the Other ~
Long before, the land of Equestria...
Long before, the world of Equus...
Long before the birth of the wide and awe inspiring universe, there were two beings of great celestial power. Both were twin and sibling one to another. The first was the sister, being a light alicorn with an ethereal flowing red mane, a coat of beautiful ceramic white, and eyes of clear, ocean blue. Her name was called Minu.
The second was her brother, being a light dragon with clear blue ocean eyes, his scales were a dazzling, crimson red, and his spinal scales glowed with glorious light. He went by the name of "Keme" which was a name that meant “secret”.
They both were in a harmonic balance with the universe; both their creative celestial powers came from the core of the universe. The core was a precious piece of the universe holding all the knowledge and powers of how the universe was to be properly ruled. It was through this orb of divine light that both Minu and Keme had gotten their powers to create and gained great knowledge of the nature of reality.
Together, using the core, they went through and expanded the creation of the universe. Minu created the stars, the different galaxies, and comets. Keme created the planets, the layout of the zodiac realms, and the black holes which were made specifically for them to travel across the universe. All of their creations were good.
Both brother and sister decided to create different creatures to inhabitant the different worlds of the universe. Minu created variations of creatures like earth ponies, unicorns, pegasi, sea ponies, ursas, griffons, and deer. And Keme had created dragons, hydras, gremlins, windigos, and many wonderful variations of them as well.
All of the creatures that inhabited the planets established their own kingdoms and ways for living. They also began gathering the knowledge of their worlds and quickly began reigning dominance over their worlds and ruled with peace and harmony as the main support of all of their laws. Keme and Minu saw that all of their creations were good and that the wonderful process of life and evolution, continuing and perpetuating goodness and peace throughout an ever expanding universe was also of their good deed.
This good process was to go on for eons beyond measure. The twin siblings would travel to each part of the universe, making sure all was going well and that the good kept flourishing strongly throughout all the realms.
Minu and Keme were flying through the constellations of space and playing their usual game of space tag.
"You really think I won't catch you Miu?" Keme smiled as he dashed around multiple stars to catch up to his sister.
"No. I know you won't catch me my dear brother. Hehe," Minu chuckled as she flew faster through the oncoming asteroids. She enjoyed herself, feeling the wind in her mane and wings.
She had slowed her flight upon nearly colliding with a giant asteroid. Keme had caught up and saved her from the giant asteroid.
"Are you alright, Miu? Why did you stop so close to the asteroid? Not that you would have gotten hurt much, but to stay in front of it?" Keme said as held his sister in his claws.
"Oh Keme, you know I wasn't going to get hurt or hurt bad by that one. It's just that it took a little longer to think of whether I was to fly through it or around it, that's all," Minu said as she smiled up at him.
She floated away from his arms and gained control of her own bearings and stood staright in front of him.
"Shall we continue?" Minu said as turned around to continue the chase. Keme got into positioned to catch her, this time quicker than his last attempt.
"Of course, no need to prolong your inevitable capture anyhow right?" He said with a smile.
As they were about to start, the core called out to them with his voice.
"Minu, Keme. Come at once my children."
Minu and Keme went to the great divide to see their father and what he would want to say to his twin children.
They had used their agility to travel at the speed of light across the galaxy, which had taken them only a few steps to get them to their appointed destinations. Minu and Keme wanted to see who would reach their first, but they only laughed at each other when had came at tie upon reaching the home of the core. They flew in through all three dimensions.
Minu and Keme had taken their respected bows before their creator. The core was, as usual, pleased to see them come in his dwelling. They both had kept their heads bowed awaiting the initiation into the royal conversation.
"Keme, Minu," the core called to them. And they looked up to him in response.
"You both have proven yourselves to be great, doing such a wonderful and magnificent job on all of the universe's ever expanding creation. I am again proud as always to call you twins my son and my daughter.
However, there is too much time you two spend with each other. And thus is allowing certain things to go unattended and as gods and goddesses you know that messing with your royal duties is a negative sign your overall statuses."
A thought entered into the minds of both Keme and Minu, thus forming visions and clear pictures which play out within their minds.
The core had showed them the different times they had played with each other across the universe; however, neither were convinced as to why they needed to be shown these visions.
"All of these visions I have showed you could have been spent more in developing or making the universe a better place."
"But it already is a wonderful place to live father. All of our creations enjoy the lives that they live," Minu said.
"I'm not wholly convinced by this either father. What has enjoying ourselves have anything to do with our duties in creating and keeping our wonderful universe safe," Keme said.
Keme was the type to make his speech really colorful at times unlike Minu who preferred using more simpler words in her speech, so that she could be easily understood by any and all her subjects.
"With you two playing so often, I came to the conclusion that you two must be separate. Each will take half of the universe under supreme care."
"B-But father, when will we have time with each other if you separate us?" Keme said as his ear began to flop down. Minu's countenance had also fallen from their new determined way of life.
The core had no remorse for the new order he had given them and said, "Fine then, you two will one have your leisure times together a few days in every millennium, no more."
"Why are you being so unreasonable? What we have done that was so wrong for you to command us to such segregated lives? I thought you said you wanted us, your perfect creations, to be happy, did you not?"
The core known what was good for them both and knew he could not get through to Keme with something as this as he would with Minu.
"I wish not to explain this matter any further. Minu and Keme you know your new orders for the future of the universe, now follow through with them."
Minu bowed before her father and turned around, her face still saddened by her new orders. Keme had stayed in his position glaring up at their creator.
"How could you give us our orders and not give an explanation as to why?"
I simply do not need to give one, the core said, I know what will and will not be better for the both of you and for all the universe. There is no real explanation needed in terms of the ever expanding universe and its future, is there.
"I know that, but you could tell us what good separating us will be to the good of the universe and the future of it," Keme said as he clenched his fist. Minu put a hoof to his shoulder.
"We don't need to argue with our creator. He was kind enough to give us free time to do all the fun things we usually do together," Minu said.
"No sister. This is isn't about what he said. This is about what he didn't say, and I want to know father. Why can't you tell us? Is it really that difficult for you the creator of the entire universe to explain?"
Enough, the core said in his mighty voice. The twins had stumbled to their faces. I will not have my own creation question me on what I say and do not say, what I choose and do not choose. For I am the most high. Now go and do what I spoke here this day or punishment will follow.
Keme was furious inside at his father, and the core saw that he could not change his confused heart. He got up from the holy ground shaking his head, tapping Minu up from her semi-unconscious state. He turned around and walked away in silence.
"Brother wait!" Minu galloped after him, but he had taken flight away from the divine throne. She opened out her wings and went after him.
The core did not do anything. Instead, he remained where he was, alone and to himself.
Keme flying at full speed to his destined side of the universe. Minu had dashed up behind trying not to lose track of him.
"Keme, the core wasn't trying to hide anything from you!" Minu yelled while she flew around a few planets after her brother.
"What do you mean he wasn't hiding anything! Have you not been listening sister!?" Keme, even more annoyed, flew on ahead at a much faster pace.
"Okay then, what did he say that lead you to burn with wrath towards our father so much!"
"Minu, I want you to give this question some thought! Why didn't he explain to us the reason for separating us!? We ruled both sides of this universe as fine as the word can get. We loved what we did together, what created together. Why can't he not give a simple explanation to such a simple question!" Keme flew off way into his part of the universe, and Minu stopped upon giving his question more thought. She soon realized that the order they were given wasn't sound and was too blind to see it then because she had willingly accepted her new command.
Keme flew beyond the known realms of his side of his universe and unto a planet far bigger than he had ever seen or created with his own hands. He flew onto the mostly darkened planet, but onto where there was more light and began discovering away at the ancient giant fossils that resided on it.
He was confused at many of the fossil appearances. They were very similar to the ones the Keme and Minu had created. It was strange. The armors and weapons upon that planet were much more advanced than the ones that they created.
"What... is this?" he thought as continued to examine the species and their form of technology. "...How did this even exist in the first place.. We didn't ever create anything like this. How come this was not told to us? Is this also something he wanted to *cough* keep secret from us as well?" He picked up the small skull of an ancient equine horse and examined the crown like helmet.
He then dropped the skull and looked around at the other giant fossils which were laying around. There was no wind that blew, nor a sign of the living that was seen, and there was no noise of any kind, except the one the ones he has already made.
The atmosphere was silent and still, the type that made him hear his body shiver and the earth beneath him cry tears of war and sorrow. The clouds did not move, and he started realize that his breath came in short pants. He began to feel tired. He flew for a few hundred miles but eventually was forced to walk and since the air was very still he did not have enough power to shield from the pain that the passing air brought upon his skin.
It was oddly the first time he had experienced anything such as pain. "Perhaps, these lands can hurt even immortals like us.. or have I devolved to a lower standard by leaving my father's presence this becoming a mortal.. I cannot know, but I can't turn back now. I must know more of this place," Keme said as he traveled onward. He saw ancient structures that were almost entirely destroyed, even a few that he watched give way into rubble and club's of ruined material.
After walking a few miles, he began to experience another feeling. He began to feel a strong thirst for some water. His tongue and throat began to feel dry on top of his issue of his breath coming in short pants, which wasn't helping. His eyes had spotted a slightly ruined castle in the distance. It seemed mostly together compared to all the others that he has seen along the way, and it also gives off a bright illumination to the surrounding area.
He traveled towards it, the only light that gave this world any form of sight at all...
On either side of him stood columns that had rusted along with the times. He dragged his weary feet along the narrow, lengthy path which had lead to the castle's gates. Keme had taken three tired steps when he heard a crackling sound.
He looked up and ran forward as one of the columns came down, breaking into large pieces of old ceramic parts. One of the pieces rolled into the one across it, and the column came down creating a domino affect for the rest of the pillars and causing Keme to run through the path avoiding every column that came crashing down behind him.
"That was a close one," Keme said as he continued to walk on toward the tower's front entrance. "Those did not look like normal pillars. Luckily I did not wait to find out how dangerous and heavy they were. In my current state, it would have probably meant death."
Keme had walked to a pile of giant bones which were pale from ages it has remained stationed in the ground. He felt that the pale bones were enchanted with magic.
"What were these things?" He asked himself as he neared the pile of pale bones. There was also a mysterious rock that was in the middle of it all. Keme did not feel any kind spirit towards the death pile he had neared.
He was only two feet away from the pile when bones began to rise up. A dark wind had formed an aura around the area forcing him confront whatever forms from the pile.
"My predictions were correct. It was trap, " Keme said as he took a step back. He watched the bones from back together old beast of renown. All five one-eyed beasts had towered over Keme with their giant clubs.
Destroy.. Intruder! They spoke in unison.
"Damn these things to the depths of Tartarus," he said as he flew up before the closest beast. As he was about to plunge his claws into his eye, he was instantly backhanded by the beast. Keme fell back into his head, but recovered back to his feet ready for the next attack.
Keme moved his hand back and gripped the handle of his fiery blade, but he did not realize another was behind him. He suddenly gripped and within the heavy fingers of yet another one-eyed armored beast which began crushing his bones. He yelled out at the top of his lungs, and the same time his body temperature rose habitually, burning away the flesh of the beast's hands.
Once Keme had landed to the ground he to his weapon and caused it to explode, burning away the nearby beasts. His vision was then covered by a plume of black smoke. He then flew up and soared over to the castle, but a few more minor explosions were heard in Keme's ears. He looked back only to look forward again upon seeing a giant rock structure land down in his path.
His wings had shut themselves tight as he crashed onto the ground before the monster.
"How is lump of rock able to move on its own? I doesn't make any sense! What level twisted sorcery is this?" Keme said as the hand of the animated rock reach for him with its hand. He breathed his holy fire, disintegrating the entire arm of the animated beast. "I will not yield a knee to you!"
Keme quickly got up only to be punched back onto his back.
"Arrgh," Keme looked up and watched the animated rock beast charged a beam through which seemed like its mouth. He breathed up fire which melted the entire upper structure of the animated beast.
The beast's lower structure had crumbled down before him, and Keme then got up and limped his way, panting, on towards the giant doors.
"That should be the last of them, for now anyhow."
When he had reached its doors, he pounded away with the little strength that he had.
"Come on, open," Keme said as he made a few pounces upon the stone door. It had felt hopeless. It was like knocking upon a wall he knew very well wouldn't open, but the entrance shape gave him some hope that someone or at least something would be inside.
"I.. said.. open!"
Two more golems landed behind his back as the door began to open up slowly. Keme turned back to them and summoned up another fiery sword and brought it down to its side, watching up at both the golems.
"I still have more-" Keme didn't get to finish before being punched back and propelled off the doors to the golems which grabbed him and slammed him face first into the ground. The other came from the side and body slammed him. It rose up and watched down at Keme who was planted into the ground.
He made an explosive wave of power which knocked back the golems onto their backs. Keme then hopped up from the ground and said, "Now both of you will know the wrath of a God."
He quickly ran up the first golem's and punched it across the face and broke apart the bottom portion of its face, but was quickly punched away by the other golem. Keme had fell onto the ground and was pummeled by the angry golem which was then covered by red markings that bled all across its structure. One hand was blocked and destroyed by Keme's fiery aura.
Keme hopped into the air and summoned his fiery spear which he then through into the head of the golem, exploding to pieces upon impact. The last golem jumped into the air and spiked punched Keme into the ground and came down with its elbow onto his body.
Keme struggled and held it up with all the strength he had in his arms. "Do you think you can crush me you clump of worthless.. rock? Alright, maybe.. not worthless," he said as the weight increased and his body was going deeper in the ground.
The twin door had opened wide before him and the golem. Two sharp lines of darkness went forward and severed the golem into small pieces. Keme had gotten up from the ground, and he was greeted with the tentacles of darkness which were round about him. The giant head of black wolf, which had glared down at him with its crimson sinister eyes, had wrapped around Keme's hands and legs with its dark tongues and pulled him inside its mouth. The wolf moved up through the floors of the the castle at lightning speed giving Keme no time to assess what was going on around him. Like a floating soul, he ascended up into the highest parts of the castle where two creatures had stood before yet another set of giant doors.
"What is this place? I demand you tell me where I am strange thing," Keme said as he struggled to free himself from within the wolf's mouth.
"Much disrespect I see. But because I am under order to," The wolf opened up its mouth, "You will be heading on through these doors which will lead to a portal and through the portal you will see our master, the core."
"Wait, did you just say the core?"
"Yes, I did. Now out of my mouth," the wolf spat him onto the doors which he afterwards slid down onto his face.
"Ach," Keme said as he got up from the ground. He looked at the two fairly tall guards which remained still.
"Go through and let our master answer all of your questions," one said.
"Wait, where am I, who are you?" Keme said as he looked up at the four-legged red and black centaur with a white beard and mane.
"It matters not who I am to you small one. Let the Lord of Lords, Our Empress, answer your concerns for you," the centaur said back to him.
"I am not small," Keme said as he grew larger in size however it wasn't enough to impress the centaur as he floated by. It had remained silent as he floated on passed him and on through the doors which lead through a dark pathway and out through another portal.
When he had entered out of the portal, he was met with a dull core who was kept in this dark realm for what he thought to be ages. Its presence was more powerful than his father. Keme had stopped floating and was upon solid ground. He looked around, trying to figure out where he was.
No need to be afraid child. You may come closer. I don't attack, the core said. It didn't make Keme any less comfortable, but he stepped in a little closer.
Speak your thoughts and your deepest concerns, and I shall answer them.
Keme was a little relieved to hear this statement from what sounded to him as a wise and understanding entity. He took a deep breath and said, "I have a lot, but I will ask a few. Are you a core? What is this place? Where am I right now? And why are you here?
I am a core. Although dulled, I am yet the more powerful form of the one you know.
I am also the twin of the one you serve. We have been twins for many eons. We have traveled throughout the cosmos and created much of the galaxies and planets that you have not heard about.
The twelve realms in which you were tasked to create by your father were not so in the time of our creation of the universe. Order was linked in direct accordance with us.
Each of our creations had a distinct uniqueness to their overall make up. Since we were so knowledgeable and all knowing, we decided to take a long rest.
The universe was served under the law of our ordinances, the codes that were set from our own existence to walk by.
However, my twin brother had secretly envied me for my own slightly higher intelligence. He afterwards plotted against me, and we made war against each other.
He had deceived me with a treaty which had me bound to this dark dimension. Ever since then, I have been here waiting for the time when the one to come to aid in my escape.
...Would you be willing to aid me?
Keme wasn't ready to agree yet. He shook his head and asked the core another question.
"So.. those dead creatures that lay in the ground outside this castle, who did they belong to?"
The core shrunk a bit in size, turning an orange red, and said, They were my creations. The creations my brother had killed off, so that he could continue with his creation of the universe.
He said before leaving me to grow dull inside of this dark dimension that was going to create a paradise in which I would never know, nor be a part of .
"He was so very wrong," Keme said, walking on towards the core. The chains were made of a light matter in which he was well able to break.
With a quick swipe down on the chain, it broke apart and had loosed all the chains around the core, "He will not get away withholding this secret from us. Teach me, and show me all of your great knowledge that I may rule over him and take control of the universe together with my sister."
The core had released a powerful wave that blew Keme back onto his rear, having him turn and twist as he skidded on the ground. He looked up and the core that was giant had turned tiny and floated to him. He put his hand over his face to cover his eyes from the brightness of the core.
Take half of me and eat. Leave the other half for your sister when she comes, so that you both have my power to defeat your father.
Keme had taken the core and tore half away to eat. He placed the half on his tongue and started to chew it. The celestial energy of the core was sweet along his tongue as blood gushed out from his mouth.
As he swallowed down his half of the core, Keme started to morph into a bigger and more sinister version of himself. Instead of him be holding the beauty of his red alluring scales, they grew darker and became black like the abyss.
His eyes remained as blue as any ocean, but his pupils were as turbulent waves, crashing against each other madly and creating a whirlpool every so while.
An ocean of knowledge began to flood his mind. Keme had brought his hands over his face and was in amazement at the revelation he was receiving.
"So much wisdom and power... Eons in the wealth of such knowledge and wisdom in using it. This.. This is more than any being could ask for."
Amaze not yourself with such little things for with this you shall do much greater things, even much greater things than your father could ever do.
"Yes, I will show my father what it means to be a true core. He will know true power and the meaning of a real paradise.
"His reign over the universe has come to an end. From now on it is I and my sister that will reign as the new rulers."
And what if your sister does not follow your ways of seeing things the way you do now? the core spoke out in his thoughts.
"...Then death to her and all who follow her."
Keme's pupils had formed and shaped themselves into slits that extended from the top to the bottom of his eyes as they emanated a blue light.
"However, I wonder how will I be able to hide this new .. me from her?"
Don't worry yourself with such things. She will understand, the core said as her voice faded along with the remaining piece. Keme stayed within the dark realm and waited for his sister to arrive and take in the other piece.
The Monsters of Sepia’s Past
~"Why?" ~
Many years and years has passed, the twins would meet to talk every millennium, meeting at an area within the divide. Minu flew down onto the designated area where she would meet her twin of whom she longed to see. She had so much things to say and wanted to spend so much lost-felt time with him.
"So much to say, to ask. I really should have brought a list of things I wanted to say," Minu said holding a hoof to her forehead as she fluttered over to her chair fastened in gold, "Perhaps, I could ask the most important questions first and.."
"And what?" A voice came to her from. Minu turned and watched as Keme walked passed her and took his seat in his chair made with diamonds. He snapped his fingers and two cups of tea appeared on the table.
Keme took his first sip. Minu avoided to start the conversation by also taking a sip of tea. However Keme, didn't want to start the conversation, so he took a few more sips of tea. Minu, who was still unsure of what to say, sipped some more tea. Keme had finally enough of the whole waiting game that had apparently been going on, so he decided to initiate their longed for conversation.
"So.. what has been going on with your duties. Is all well with your tasks dear sister?"
"All is well, under the wings of the core. The rule is as usual, nothing seems to be of anything danger worthy. The future seems bright for my side. Is it the same for yours dear brother?" Minu took a sip of tea and waited for Keme's response. Keme rest down his cup and looked away at the guards which stood at attention in their appointed corners.
"Pretty good Sis. However, I haven't been up on every planet since this whole separation thing our father has put us through. I haven't felt the need to do much of ruling. It just isn't the same without us being together dear sister," Keme took a sip of his tea again before he continued, "I feel father did not think the gravity of the choice he made in having us apart like this. Don't you think?"
"But brother, where has he ever been wrong?" Minu said as she looked to the guard that was way in a corner on the far end of the room at attention and back to Keme.
"He may have never been wrong, but I feel he has made a grave mistake with this latest attempt to secure the universe," Keme lead in closer, placing his hands the table, his chest puffed out a bit, "He has.."
"Has what?" Minu looked at him with a concerned expression, "You're gonna tell me that he's the one that will cause the universe to veer off course? Keme that doesn't sound any more logical than.."
"What do you mean it doesn't sound logical sister? Have not seen what it has done to us? We use to help create and help our creations evolve at a much faster rate than when we are currently."
"..Well what does that have do with anything brother?" Minu said puzzled at the point Keme tried to bring across to her.
"Have you become dull in your vision?" Keme got up a bit and pulled in his chair, "Our father has slowed the development and productivity of the universe by separating us. To make matters worse, he has caused us to become so formal in how we do things politically. That makes for a sinister future and an end for civil politics in our future meetings sister." He brought the cup to his mouth and breathed a small breath of fire to warm his cup before he had taken another sip.
"But no one is dying brother so what does it matter?" Minu said. Her expression became more serious when she watched Keme cough away in response to her question.
"What does it matter? What does it matter sister? So you think that only when one of our creations die that it is when you should take something serious?" Keme said before clearing his throat.
"No, that's not what I-"
"Enough of this talk. I cannot go through with this any longer. Obviously there's nothing I can do to convince you otherwise," Keme got up from his chair and stretched out his wings, "goodbye sister."
"Goodbye brother," Minu said. She sipped some more tea and sat that there for some time before leaving herself.
They would talk to each other about how long they had missed each other and other things they have done for their parts of the universe. It would be such a special time for them both since they only got to spend time once every thousand years. However, they would have their arguments on what they think should be done with their fathers decree. Keme would try and convince her, but to no avail he would fail at each attempt. He eventually became discouraged and remained silent about it.
And one day Keme did not return...
Minu came to the divide, looking for her brother, but he was not anywhere to be found. She waited that day for him, hoping that he was just late, but they day had neared its end, and he did not show up. So she unfortunately had to return back to her duties and wait another millennium for them to meet.
She waited with him on her mind each day. Minu wanted to know why he did not come to meet with her. With every passing year, he was on her mind. She was able to perform her duties and keep her subjects satisfied. The universe had grown with every passing millennium and then came the end of yet another millennium for the both twins to meet. She was very happy for yet another opportunity to meet him and hold him. To just hug him, cuddle with him, and tell him how much she misses her dear brother.
She came to the divide, a beautiful place it was. It was a place secluded of all other life, the area decorated in beautiful colors, a few that are not known by most at all, but with the many mixes of other known colors it made for such a mystical scene of both the twins. It was a scene that they never grew weary of. The divide had two entrances, each leading to one side of the every expanding creation of the universe.
The mystical place was also separated into three planes within. The plane the twins would meet in would be the outer dimension called "बॉडी" {Bo-di} meaning the encasement of the great power. The inner dimension would be called "आत्मा" {Atma} meaning an inner encasement of the great power, and the most inner dimension would be where the core resided, the area was called the "भावना" {Bha -vana}, realm of the highest power. This is where they both would come and talk and even play with each other at times.
However, despite the scene in all its beauty and magnificence, she was still alone. She felt horrible that he had not shown his face unto her yet again. Minu stood near the table where they would cherish to be every time they saw each other. Her wings were down heavy with the burden that this was all her fault.
"Perhaps I should have listened to him. Maybe what he was saying was right," Minu took a few trots away from the table and kept her eyes down at the bright floor.
"Maybe he truly is trying to get me to see how our father has erred in his ways. Why can't I see it brother?" She trotted over to the entrance which led to his side of the universe, "Have you stopped coming unto me because of my deeply rooted ignorance? Or is it that you don't want to speak with me anymore..." She looks out to the starry space and extends her wings to full length. Minu Gallops through the portal and soars off in search of Keme.
As she soared on through his space, Minu noticed only a few planets had life on them. She soared on through planets large and small and felt the presence of light at very seldom times. Minu had noticed huge fires and creatures that she had never seen before.
"What has happened to the life on the planets-" Minu felt like something had gripped her throat. She was rendered of her ability to breathe, and she fell down and crashed onto a nearby planet.
Minu coughed as she was catching breath. She could not see nothing. It was a pitch black smoke that moved the the crater she was in. Minu had flew up from her crater and on to the ground.
"Where is everyone?" She flapped her wings, but the smoke would not disperse. "Hello? Any creation upon these grounds, speak!"
You... You have done this , a low voice had spoken as it echoed passed her ears.
"What?" Minu said as she scanned her surroundings.
You deceived us... and cursed our bodies...
Before Minu could respond, she was grabbed up in the claws of giant ursula major. The sight of it, scared Minu. Only having one eye, scars that ran deep through its body and its starry fur was tainted completely in darkness.
"Who has done this to you!?"
"You have you deceiver of all kind," the ursula spoke. It lean in and glared at her with its bloodshot eye.
"You came unto our home and destroyed it. Then you thought it fit to kill us and bound our souls in our slowly decaying and beaten bodies for your own pleasure."
"It was not I that did this to you. I have not ruled over these parts in over three or more millennia. I would not know what has gone on here other than what you have told me," Minu said.
"You are like just as the true deceiver you are. Now you will die the death that has long been owed to you," the ursula rose up one paw and brought its great weight down on her. Minu placed up a magical orb around herself and held the crushing weight of the ursula's paw.
"Your death will not be gentle," the ursula said as he plucked her away from his hand and into the hallowed woods of a nearby massive aged tree.
"I did nothing to this creature. I have yet one more thing to try," she said to herself as flew out of the hole and showed the ursula her grace, bathing its vision in her bright presence.
"Answer me this creature, why do you think I committed this act against you? Is there not a difference between us?"
"There is none. All light is the same to me, full of deceit," the ursula said before peeling down the bark of the tree. Minu flew away from the angered ursula major and away from the planet that was scarce of any life. She continued on traveling through her brother's lost side of the cosmos for a while.
The good life that she was expecting was very scarce, and the more she ventured on, that very scarce presence too was leaving her senses. The planets carried a darker color; their auras were dulled and gave off an energy and essence that had never been experienced before.
The most prominent energy's that most planets she flew by were giving off was... anger, hate, and great sorrow. An anger that was uncommon and too unnatural for any bodies of beings to withhold.
"Why... why would you do this to your own subjects? What wrong have they committed against you to commit such evil?" Minu said as she glided on through the cosmos, slowly beginning to lose hope in her own brother and feared the worst for him. Most planets she flew by radiated great levels of hostility, made by the creations upon them.. Some planets she kept her distance from for they were wrapped around and entrapped by very large and abominable looking beasts. The beasts appeared to have been turned against the natural makeup of all other creations.
Some were giant sinister creatures that moved slithered on their bellies like snakes, but could not be compared to such creatures. And dragons that would stand tall upon planets and the planets below which they stood parts of it would burn in flames, seeming to have little to no life. The more planets that she flew passed, the more the fear of knowing what may have happened to her brother seemed to have only become stronger. Hundreds upon hundreds of planets, some destroyed, some deeply scarred by the destructive hands of some giant monsters, or at least that's what she wanted to think.
"You do this!"
"The Light Destroyer hath done this to us!"
"You shall pay!"
"If have to evolve to find you, I will. And we will kill you..."
Creature after creature yelled out these similar sayings which rang inside of her ears, all through out her mind, and to every corner of her conscience. Minu didn't want to think her own brother would have become a destroyer or that he created any of the abominations that she sometimes had to turn her eyes from. The reality of it all was beginning to take a major effect upon her soul.
She traveled all across her brother's side of the universe for years with no rest, looking for her dear brother, avoiding every giant monster that she almost came into contact with. Some planets were very massive, others were medium, and yet others were small. Every giant planet had a strange colossal monster, some were dark, vulgar, and scary looking and others were deformed and had unnatural forms according to the core's original designs.
After searching what seemed to be everywhere, Minu had come onto a planet that was one hundred times the diameter of any planet she has laid eyes. It was a great planet hidden among several other massive asteroids. When Minu had set hoof upon the planet, she saw no signs of life for as far as her eye could see. She observed the grounds below to find bones protruding from out of the land. By looking a little further she found the skull of what looked be like an equine.
The goddess had traveled up north, finding the remaining skeletal frames of equines and other monsters that appeared to have existed. The more she traveled up, the more sorrow and ill she felt within her. For her it was like walking through one of her worst nightmares, traveling in a graveyard of her deceased creations.
Minu had flapped her wings, but her breathing became heavy.
"Why brother... why?"

Chapter 3: Venturing up the Castle of Obisidian Madness
~"Venturing up the Castle of Obisidian Madness" ~
This is not supposed to be. This is just not how it is supposed to be.
That was all she had kept on repeating in her head while trotting up the massive planet, her body shivering from the realization of the horror she had to keep on experiencing. It took her three days and three nights to travel up half way to the North. And there was still no life. It was another four days and nights of her traveling before she saw a ruined castle of obsidian. She began to gallop the rest of her way there, hoping she would find her twin who she had longed to see. She was amazed at how massive the castle was, but she paid its size no mind as she began to advance to the castle.
With much speed in every galloping step she made, she was in front of the great entrance of the ruined castle that was much greater in size and mass then she had originally imagined. The castle was much too broad for even Minu to get an estimate of its breadth, depth, length, or height. She looked up, watching at the castle reach up to the starry heavens and could not see the top.
She then turned from side to side and could not see end of the castle's sides. It was the largest structure she has ever witnessed.
The wind began to pick up, and stood before the entrance of the castle. Minu gently knocked on the door, but there was no response, and the door did not budge. She began, pounding away and one of the doors opened inward slightly, the darkness from within crawling back and giving her a pathway into the castle. She walked in and began looking around, but it was too dark for her to see what the inside really looked like only being able to make out the shapes of a few broken rocks and pillars.
She lit her horn a light blue, showing what was all about her. Minu's eyes widened, and she shrieked ever so slightly as she watched a strange darkness crawl away from her light, slipping back into their corners and behind the broken pillars and other old and dusty structures. She continued searching around the castle, glancing at more and more destroyed structures going up through the levels of the castle.
The goddess had come into contact with odd structures and statue of creatures she has never seen, and she had even come across many dusty bookshelves, all of which she had never seen. She has traveled up through the floors of the ruined castle for thirty days and nights and had reached quarter way up through the castle. Minu actually forgot what floor she was on and lost count after the hundredth floor.
Upon exploring, she ventured into this dark room which was very large and in the middle stood a pegasus that was being choked by a strange creature. Minu went to stop it, but was forcefully pushed back through the entrance. The entrance was closed up after she bounced back from off the wall and on to the ground.
"...What was that?" Minu said as she looked to the closed entrance and then down the hall. She got off from the ground and dusted herself before she continued on.
She eventually came into contact with a crooked bookshelf, walking down the damaged hallway that lead to the next floor entrance, that wasn't completely broken and demolished like the many others she had passed. It books were dusty, but there were books that seemed lodged within the shelf that caught her attention. Minu came near to it and used her magic to pull the book out from the shelf which afterwards fell away and the other books that were on the shelf had turned to dust.
She looked at the cover of the book and watched an image of a glowing blue eye, which looked back at her. Minu wasn't used to seeing such strange images on the cover of a book, but as curious as she was to see what was inside the book she opened the pages of the mysterious book. When she had opened up the book to the first page, the hallway had turned blue like the ocean and the pages with their strange markings crawled like wraiths from out of the book onto her body, moving down and then onto the walls. They traveled in a spiral like manner all across both paths of the hallways.
Minu's eyes began to moving from side to the other, trying to analyze what was taken place before her. Every word that she looked at began placing pictures within her mind, although she could understand what the words had meant. Four visual images had been placed in her mind. The first was her brother against her. The second was of seven strange beings that burst down from the dark heavens with fire upon an unknown land filled with equines. The third was of her brother who appeared from out of a shadow with an army of shadows and was against forces of light in which she has not seen. The fourth was with her brother against her the second time. Her brother's face came from out of the book, trying to eat her but she closed the book and threw it away from her.
"Noooooo!" she said, putting a hoof to her head. The blue illumination of the hallway along with the wraith-like words that were present had disappeared. "What are these pictures that plague my mind?! What happened to you brother?!" Tears began coming down from her eyes. She fell down onto her face and mourned her brother for seven days of the dawning and setting of the red star, reminiscing on all the times they were together and ruled the universe.
Afterwards, she began to travel onward up through the levels. Forty days and forty nights passed with her walk through the tower from that point. She has seen many ancient relics and things that she wondered just how old they were. Minu passed through many dining areas, bedrooms, countless hallways, and even some apparent secret dining areas, and has seen a forms of life, some of which she did not bother in fear of awaking great danger, some damaged armor and statue remains. There were strange markings on the wall as well but none of which she could know or understand.
She had finally, after forty days and nights, reached the top floor of the tower, fighting through illusions that would plague her mind every so while. She at times felt as though she was on the verge on some strange madness, but it would only fade a little bit the higher she went. It was however the first thing she didn't feel upon reaching the last floor.
It was a hallway that stretched along a straight path for miles, stacked with thick stone pillars along each side. It was very windy, but the red sun had shone down in through the open windows of the hallway. Between the spaces of each pillar stood tall sculptures of unknown creatures, some having faces of anger and others of sorrow. Their positions were also the same, standing up tall and looking down to the ground. The wind blew cold between her hooves, but she was happy to have the opportunity of seeing her brother after so long.
"Finally," she said. Her royal horse shoes clanked on the ancient stone tiles as she trotted through. She heard the wind blow by and felt it pass through her mane and upon her white fur. The light around her horn had also dissipated with the passing of the wind. Her head moved from side to side, looking at each statue that she passed. She kept her ears open for any strange sounds or movements, even more so since the sound of her trotting echoed loudly through the hall.
As journeyed through the long hallway of ancient statues, the day had passed her by. It was nightfall, when she had come before a giant door that had to beast guarding its gates. They stood on each side, facing each other and looking to the floor like all of the others. These wonderfully made sculptures had happy expressions upon them, but the more contorted and sinister they looked as she went onward nearing a giant door. At its center, it had the symbol of a dragon's face with the horns of a ram or goat. It was also separate from all matter, almost as if it were a portal.

Chapter 4: "What happened to you, Brother?"
~"What happened to you, Brother?" ~
A few moments of standing and the door had opened before her. She took a step a closer to what lead into another dimension of its own. At the opening of the door spilled down a wave of dark purple ooze, which had touched the legs of the two statues, standing on either side. The ooze passed along the legs of the statues, and they began to move as if they were alive. The fists of both statues came crashing down right in front of Minu, ans she lead backwards with not enough time to recover properly, landing down onto her rump.
"And did you think you were going, missy?" a voice spoke. Minu looked up and saw two creatures of great stature and renowned strength.
"Oh, look another opportunity for me to gain more power," the centaur looking beast spoke.
"Who are you!" Minu demanded of both her adversaries.
The skinny confused looking creature placed its lion paw to its chest and said, "Why, I am Discord, Lord of Chaos. And you are my little pony?"
"Faust! I mean Minu! Arrgh, don't you dare refer to me by the before or I will remove the tooth sticking out of your mouth!" Minu said as she stood up and glared at the creatures.
"None of that will be happening because I will have gotten all the power I need from you and you will be no more, just like the other foolish equines that were foolish enough to travel up here," the centaur spoke, "Since you are going to die here I will give you the honor of my own name, which is Tirek."
"Now that you know both of our names, do you have any last words, missy?" Discord said cracking his knuckles. Minu's eyes had narrowed as she scrapped her hooves along the ground and huffed as her wings stretched out ready to take flight.
In split of a moment, Discord punched down to where Minu had stood and opened a hole within the floor. His eyes moved to the side and watched at Minu who landed a great distance away from them.
"Huh, very good! Most don't survive the first blow their usually punched away from off the castle, so you must be a fighter! Oooh, now to get more action pact," Discord said as his eyes narrowed with an evil grin stretched across his face. He zigzaged through the hall at lightning speed. His lion fist made contact with her muzzle, as his body came besides her, and the force had sent Minu flying back at lightning speed hitting the wall just above the entrance of the hall.
"Ahh! Ughhh!" were the yells that came from Minu as she fell to the ground in pain. She got up and dashed forward only to have been kicked into the wall at lightning speed.
"Awww, can't keep up? Should I go slower for you? I don't want the fun that I've been waiting years for to die out so quickly," Discord said as he stood before Minu, stroking his beard. She got up coughing up a bit of blood.
Shit... these two are unique and very strong. I could overwhelm them with my power, but that might destroy the only entrance to see my brother, she thought as she got up from the ground and looked to Discord with one of her eyes swollen with blood which leaked and made part of her vision red and blurry. At the moment, she along with Discord and Tirek heard the doors to the other dimension closing.
I must escape to through the doors before the close and I have to fight to reopen them.
Minu opened her wings, but the ground began to crumbling beneath her. She looked beyond Discord and saw the crumbling extended all the way back to were Tirek had smashed in the ground. Minu's eye began to glow a bright white before she disappeared before Discord and dashed on forward through Tirek's legs as she headed to the entrance.
Discord dashed passed Tirek and was only a tongue's distance behind Minu. However, he was not fast enough to grab her whole, so he ripped off one of her hind legs. Minu went crashing down towards the portal, not knowing what to expect from the other side.
Minu dashed on to the world beyond with a few major wounds from the quick blows she had received from Discord. She made it through but had to stay within that space she was in for a while. The door had closed solidifying them in place.
"If they were able to do this to me.. then Keme must be much more sinister and powerful to have gone through these doors and remained here all of this time." Minu recovered her wounds in silence as she looked around.
The space Minu remained to heal her wounds was a small space with the doors so close on either side. The rest of the space was void, a space filled with darkness that went on forever in all directions. She couldn't figure out what the place had meant, but it was then she had realized that she was able to move freely and finish her search which was just beyond the doors before her. The door before her was much larger in size and mass. It appeared to be just a giant door of dark energy, but Minu was able to feel her brother's fading presence beyond it.
She decided to dash on through the door, but it seemed that going full speed into the door only made her journey take forever. It took her a few tries to understand that trotting was the only way she was going to reach the door. It took her what felt to her like a day to travel across what seemed like a sea of darkness and stand before the great door. She used her horn and turned her head left to unlock the door.It was then she saw her brother, Keme.
"Brother! Brother!?" Minu yelled out to him. She entered through the door with a spirit of gladness and hope, but it was all shattered away upon seeing his appearance. He was much larger than she had remembered, dwarfing her. His eyes had remained blue but his pupils were different. They had great depth, but within the deepest parts was darkness like she had never felt before. Minu felt as if her soul was ready to be taken within his eye. She had to begin using up more of her magic energy to stay put on her hooves and to talk to him without being taken by his eyes of great deception.
Minu's body began to understand what level of power her brother had in his grasp. Her brother had smiled down at her and said, "It has been such a long time, dear sister. How have you been?"
Minu was happy to respond with, "I've been worried about you. You had not come to where we usually meet every millennium for some time, and I wanted to know what happened after you had not come unto me the second time, so I went to search for you.
"I mean had an idea of why you left me, but I wanted to search for you anyways. But much to my surprise I find you locked away here, why?"
Keme smiled and said, "It was I that chose to stay here." His expression had quickly changed into a sour one and continued, "If I couldn't spend more time with you, and if you wouldn't understand what I have seen with what our father has done to us, then what was ever the point in returning?"
"It was what he had to do, Keme. What were we to do? He could see beyond what we cannot see. Was there really anything to be about that?"
"Yes, there was," Keme said.
"Okay then, what? Fight him? We are his creations, dear brother. It would be foolish to do that against him. We would lose," Minu said as she looked away from him.
"The core did not know what was good for us. For eons, our father thought he knew of the right thing for us, but I always knew he did not know what was best for us. Who's to say he wasn't planning to wipe us out and create new beings?"
"Your talking foolishly brother, stop," Minu responded.
"Why because you're afraid?" Keme asked.
"What does that have anything to do with being afraid? It's just what it is brother. Why do you refuse to take to the side of logic? Do you think you, or I, or even us both stands a chance against the one and only god of the universe?"
"Wrong," Keme responded.
"Wrong?" Minu spoke back, "How?"
"Because he isn't."
"Because he isn't? Keme, brother! Have you lost all that was left of your intelligence!?" Minu said as she opened her wings out.
"No, I haven't. In fact, I have more intelligence and insight into the future than our father would ever have."
Minu's wings had folded as she watched his wings open out. He leaned in towards her, stretching out his hand and showing her what appeared to be a small half core. She looked at the half core and then looked to him.
"Eat it."
"Why?" Minu responded.
"Together, you and I will be able to overthrow our father once and for all. Then we could rule the universe and make our own rules. And their will be no one there to rule over us again," Keme said as his eyes narrowed with his evil grin. He moved his tail from behind and placed it down between them both, showing her a book.
"This book has much more power and ancient knowledge and secrets of our universe. You won't regret eating it if you do. I assure you that dear sister."
"Where was the other book that was given to both of us?" Minu had asked.
"I threw it away. No need to have something that is rendered useless to a greater and more knowledgeable book, right?" Keme smiled, bearing his sharp teeth, "Ever since I began chatting with the other core, she has given me more power than I could have ever imagined. Now I see the entire universe in a more informed lighting. You will too, just take it sister," Keme brought the half core closer to her, but she stepped away. "Please?"
Keme used his manipulative eyes to try and convince her, but she quickly caught on and looked down at the ground to avoid his deceiving gaze.
"No. And that is final, Keme," Minu had said.
Keme was very disappointed by his sister's final decision on the matter.
"...Fine then, sister," He then swallowed what was left of the core's power and became whole. He turned into a full-fledged core. Minu asked him how come there was two cores in the first place, and he told her, "...In the beginning, there were two cores that coexisted with each other, but the core we listened to and referred to as great, all knowing, almighty, was actually jealous of the core that is now within me, banishing him to this planet never to be seen by anyone again."
He then went to explain to her why the core they served was jealous. Although it sounded convincing to Minu's ears she couldn't change her mind until she heard the core's side to the story he was telling her so she still refused to go along with the other core's will to ruling the universe. Keme went further into saying that there wouldn't be much of a difference and that they would be able to spend all the time we want together.
Minu then said, "...But look at you, there's nothing of you that I remember in your appearance save your essence."
"Don't worry about that, sister," Keme replied, smiling and swinging his long neck around her. "Look at me now, for I have become a new creature through the power of the core, more powerful and knowledgeable too. So shall you be if you yield your mind and thoughts over to the core's voice like we did, listening to the core before now.
"The choice is yours dear sister. The time is at hand for the world to change back to the way it was, and have an even better and larger universe. Consider these things which I lay before you sister."
Keme's voice became hazy, and he backed away from Minu confused at what was happening to his beautiful voice of boldness. Minu was also confused and became afraid as she watched him grow very large. She flew away from her brother to escape his quick growth. When Minu sensed that he had stopped growing, she looked up but could not make out his size. All she was able to see were the massive claws of his feet that stretched for miles.
"...What happened to you? Where did you go?" Minu said, looking up to the void space above her.
I guess... I just grew larger. However, you have wounded me by your decision sister. The only thing I could do now is... the only thing... I could do to you now... is put to an end all the torment and misery in your existence.
Keme pressed down on to the surface below to crush his own sister with the palm of his hand. Minu moved with lightning speed away from his attack, but the winds had knock her off balance in flight, spiraling out from that dimension and entering in and through the void out through the great door. She spiral off of the castle and down on to the desert grounds below where she, upon landing, had broken her left wing and both her forelegs.
The force and shock had knocked the mare out, leaving her almost unconscious. Minu began to process things very slow, having flashing images that passed on through her thoughts. Rocks falling, Walls crumbling, Sky darkening, then a massive blue fills her entire vision. Her senses fully recovered upon being shaken by a huge explosion from that happened atop the tower followed by a gravitational pull, she was pulled up along with huge rocks and chunks of metal were pulled up along with her as well. She tried using her magic before reaching the source of its pull, but she couldn't fully perform her spell in time to lock its entrance.
When she neared the portal, Keme's extraordinarily gargantuan arm came out of the portal with much speed, knocking Minu back away into the distance. He opened out his hand and gripped around the edges of the portal, pulling himself from out of the small dark void back into his own space of the universe. His eyes narrowed and a smile dawned upon his face.
Yes... for so many years I have waited for this moment. To finally bend the course of this very universe to my own will, and then I will guide its future by my great wisdom. Time to bring the dawn of a new age.
Minu, getting up from the massive graveyard of fallen equine soldiers, looked up at her brother who was already halfway out of the portal. His giant wings seeming to have blot out the heavens, turning it all to pitch black.
"I cannot see anything. Had it not been for my natural glow, I would have been completely blinded of my surroundings," Minu said as she watched as Keme's tail slithered from out of the portal. The castle crumbled down into a giant mass of rubble upon the crushing weight of his hand. His feet had slipped from out of the portal crashing down onto what then became ruined remains of the old castle. Keme rose up from the ground to the heavens and sneezed out the dusty remains of the ancient castle. He closed his eyes and breathed out.
"...Father"

Chapter 5: War Of the Twin Gods Part I
Chapter 5: Battle Of the Twin Gods Part I
Keme looked out into the distance, envisioning the core within his mind. He then spread forth his wings and began flapping them. Giant gust of winds began to form and traveled far and wide apart. Minu tried to hold her position, but her brother was much too powerful for her to stay. She thought back at what he said about the core. "Father!" she said, closing her eyes and envisioning the core. "I must get back to him before he does. It will mean the fate of the universe if he gets to it before I do."
She spread forth her wings and aloud the winds of her brother to send her further away. Minu used the wind's power to help assist wither her flight and to get far away from the planet.
"Now to get back and get back to father," Minu said as Keme had pulled up two statues out of the rubble using magic. They stony pieces had broke away, revealing two animated creatures. The first to make a step forward was a female minotaur, who had scars all over her body. She spotted Minu flying away in the distance and grunted, huge smokes coming down from her nostrils.
"Where do you think you're going lady!"
The miniature dashed and leaped away from the planet onto another to chase after Minu. The second followed behind her which was a gargoyle which didn't speak, but growled constantly. And both were after the princess.
"That's right. Kill her!" Keme said aloud as the other statues crumbled away, revealing other powerful ancient life forms. Discord and Tirek had broken away from the stony shells first. Discord smiled up, breathing the fresh air of ruins.
"I smell the fresh air of war and death. Well more of death to be precise."
"I sense a great war coming," Tirek said as he took a few steps ahead of Discord.
"A war?" Discord retorted.
"Yes, a great one, brother," Tirek said again as he looked up into Keme's face which was filled with wrath and great vengeance.
"I have to make sure I sure I reach father," Minu had said as she flew down below the moving asteroids which had mysteriously surrounded the planet which she knew she could not find the name to.
The miniature tried to catch up with her, but she had lost them with the speed at which she left the planet. The miniature stopped on one of the planet just outside the moving asteroids, and the gargoyle had stopped behind her, flapping its wings a bit before landing onto the ground.
"Don't worry princess. We can't find you now, but you have to come your fate sooner or later. The universe will be ours," said the voluptuous and muscular female minotaur. She summoned her hammer and smashed the end of the steel hilt down into the ground, "It's only a matter of time."
Minu was in such a rush that she darted right through a dying planet.
"Arrgh, darn it," she said as her thoughts had trailed away. The impact had thrown her off course for a short while.
"No... why..."
"...I-I.. failed."
"I'm sorry.. I couldn't.."
...Why are you sorry? spoke out within her mind. She quickly recognized it as the voice of her father.
Her mind's eye had opened up and she saw her father clearly.
Come unto me quickly, my daughter. The entire universe is in peril and will be doomed if you don't hasten your steps...
Spinning off in space she regained her senses and darted away towards the divide, moving through planets, comets, and asteroids both large and small and breaking the sound and light bearers of space three consecutive times. She made it to the divide, in and up through the three dimensions just before the core of the universe. Her crown and her necklace had shattered away along her travel. She bowed her hooves a few feet before the presence of the core, panting as she tried to regain her breath and sweating.
"Oh great Core, mighty Lord of the twelve realms, a royalty of peace and of great joy, I come before your presence to ask that you confront the ways of my brother that he may come back to me as how I knew of him prior to meeting him again."
I am afraid I cannot do that, my dear Lauren.
Minu slowed up at the core, her eyes widened and ears folded. “I don’t understand.. Why can you not? You said that you had the power over this whole universe. He and I are of your offspring. Are we not?”
No, he is not of my offspring anymore, Lauren. I hid that from you both hoping that you would grow and rule the universe without fighting each other, but it seems that this course was what was meant to be.
Minu stood up and held a hoof to her held. She looked below to see if she could get an understanding of what she was told. “Wait… so he’s not.. my brother anymore? Is that what you’re saying?”

Keme was held in my care after what the other core has done to the universe. In the beginning, there were two cores. Together, we were known as the “Great Duo” or Twin Gods of the universe. We worked side by side to create the universe. We created life, nature, and all types of living things, and all was good. But the other core, also known as my once dear sister had grown bored and weary of the massive universe we have created.
She wanted change.
“How could she grow bored?”
It was something I wanted to figure out myself, but I guess only time would’ve told why. Of course I didn’t allow it, so I simply chained her away to a dimension within an old castle.
Minu had quickly remembered Keme saying to her that the core was within him. “But… Keme said that the core was within him. What does that mean, great one?”
I see he is nearing this area with himself and the core’s presence being one, so he must’ve consumed the other core. With the core in him, he will only yield to the voice whatever the core may speak into his heart. All of his deepest thoughts are under the core’s control and there’s nothing that could be done to stop it at this moment. Perhaps, maybe, in the far future, but definitely not now.
He is on his way here to destroy me with the combined power of your brother.
“Why would he ever want to do that?”
Lauren, my child we are not the same and never can be again. There is no more time for me to explain further. I want you to consume me.
Minu’s body shivered taking a step backwards. “But.. Why?”
Do not question, my commands or my requests. Just do as I say. It is the first step you will take into understanding all you want to know, my valiant child.
Minu paused for moment still, looking at the core. She always obeyed what she was told, but she couldn’t just perform cannibalism on her own loving creator. Even though it has been given the okay, the thought didn’t sit right within her. The thoughts of whether or not she should do it waged war within her mind. The core saw the confusion of thoughts within her mind, and it moved down from its throne and unto her. It then said.
Lauren, push away those thoughts within you and listen to my voice. Hear my words, take them in and you will understand. If you wait any longer, the other core will come unto us in this place and destroy the beautiful existence that you and your brother had once worked hard to create with all of its beautiful results.
Minu looked unto the core, tearing as she placed her fore hooves onto her creator, bringing it into her embrace. Her eyes began filling with tears as she began to biting into the essence of the core. The more she ate at the essence, the more tears that came down her cheeks.
Don’t worry my child…
The universe of old had known of me and my actions, but the universe that stands before us now is in need of a ruler and a different face. You can lead and show the universe you have created the way of harmony, light, and balance.
As my essence come within you, I want you to know that all of my past knowledge and wisdom will be passed down to you. My years of experience with success and failure will also be passed unto you. Consider and ponder as many as you could with each situation you reach, so that you don’t make and regret lots of mistakes like I did. And with the last part of my essence I bless you with the phrase that all your subjects from generation to generation should say unto you.

That this prayer unto you may not change for as long as you rule this universe.
Minu had eaten the whole of the core and a mysterious light had dawned from her, lighting up the three dimension of the divide. The light had spread outward for miles all around like the sun that spread forth its hands upon a sleeping world, pushing back the shadows of the night and placing down its arms of everlasting warmth upon all its inhabitants.
She grew much larger panning out hundreds of times her actual size. Minu grew a set of hind wings and her original set of wings had grown larger. She teleported from out of the divide and was able to see Keme coming unto her from the distance. The light that came off of Minu’s countenance had nearly blinded Keme. He had quickly placed his wings around his eyes as he came before her.
Sister.. What has happened to you? Your size, this amazing light, what is it? What have you become?!
“The core,” Minu had said in a loud voice that echoed for miles out into the dead of space. “I have become the core by taking it and putting its essence inside of me.”
Keme had kneeled one knee before his sister as the light of her presence became overwhelming for him to stand.
“Brother, throw away the core within you and listen, take in the thoughts of the creator in which you have thrown away.”
No, I shall not yield. For the core that is within you has the vision of the universe twisted and now has twisted the imaginations of your thoughts. You now will see the universe through his ways and there’s no way I could help you unless you throw away yours.
“Why should I brother? Tell me also why you cannot stand in my presence like before? Perhaps it’s the core that is within you, making you shield thyself before me?
No! The core in me is the light bearer, and it has granted me with great intellect and power.
Keme spread out his wings, and a great light came from his presence, but it still was like a shadow within the presence of Minu. He struggled to maintain his light in the presence of Minu. He grew frustrated and flapped his wings at Minu, causing her to go back a bit from the powerful gust of winds.
You dare test the knowledge and power of the core. For this, your head would have to roll my dear sister. It is unfortunately the judgment of all who oppose the core that is within me.
Keme spread out his arms and wings and turned his head up to the stars above them. Light particles began to form creating a sword of fire. When the weapon had finally formed, he gripped the smoking handle of the blade and brought it down at his side.
“Has the core within me, being the greater light, dawn on your ways brother? If not, then why so much hate? You are the light bearer, so if that is true then what does it matter if I have a core within me?”
The core within you is dangerous and if I let you live any longer it will begin changing the fate of my universe. I cannot allow that to happen to you Minu.
“Since when has it become thy universe brother? Wasn’t not for us both to rule as one? What happened to all of the wonderful times we had together?” Tears began to form in Minu’s eyes. Keme had closed his eyes upon remembering what the thought had brought before his mind; All the moments they had spent together, the things they have spent time creating together: the happiness they had with one another and every living part of their creation within the whole of the universe. Every moment of each memory tore away at his soul like blades through flesh.
He opened his eyes and blood ran like tears down his face. Keme roared at his own sister, the sound waves and powerful winds from his breath pushing her further away. Minu felt a great overflow of hate in her brother within her own heart. He closed his mouth. With a flick of his tail, he slapped Minu miles away from the divide, through a few planets, deep within her territory of the universe.
You give me no choice but to purify you and the rest of this universe by destroying, everything and changing the course of this universe. The new universe will have me as its ruler and peace and tranquility will inevitably follow.
This day I set my sword down above the divide, and I will call unto my entire legion to this place. When all of my forces have arrived, I will then march onto your side and destroy everything that lives. My wrath shall reign down destruction on your cities of glory, leaving only desolation unto all the living.
And you sister, I will then take thine head and place it upon a statue for all future generations after my new reign to see as example unto to those that dares to be foolish and challenge the authority of the core.
Keme opens his wing, his swords begins ignite with mighty flames, which had even burned away his own flesh. He placed down the sword over the divide, and a giant blue flame had shot up from the sword and formed a giant blue reptilian eye. The slit within the eye widened, bringing forth legions of creatures, monsters, and forces of death. They would all enter down from out the eye and positioned themselves before their leader with their weapons of war in hand.
Legions upon legions of terrible monsters and forces stood behind Keme. He turned to his mighty legion of loyal creatures, his glowing blue eyes appearing more sinister than ever before. They all had feared, bowing before his presence, and remained silent.
Legions of my great empire, I bring you all here today to witness a great change in all of our history. There will be a change of destruction and rebirth unto all the corners of the universe.
I bring all of you, to this very place, to move back and kill off everything that lies beyond this border. Spare nothing.
When the last portion of my legion arrives, I want us to move forward and do as I say.
After this war has come to an end, you will all have everlasting peace. And future generations shall bear my name within each and every city. I will be forever after called Kings of Kings and Lord of Lords and that will be the only judgment as pass upon the other side of this divide.
The monster and forces of his legion praised his name and glorified his judgment by lifting their voices and cheering before his presence. Keme turned and looked away into the distance of the great and vast universe.
