The Mermare

It was a beautiful day in Ponyville, the birds were singing, the apples were being bucked, and the sky was covered in streak of a certain pony’s tail. It was peaceful until there was a ‘thud’ that literally shook the ground. Of course (Princess) Twilight was the first to look out her window only to meet the gaze of the sun and  moon goddess themselves,

“Princess!” Twilight squealed at her former mentor and ran out the door.

“It so great to see you, are you here because of the new friendship report or the boo-“ she was cut off by Luna’s royal canterlot voice

“TWILIGHT I SEE YOU AND MY SISTER HAS A LOT TO CATCH UP ON BUT WE ARE HERE TO DISCUSS A VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE!”

“That is correct Luna," Celestia turned her gaze to Twilight “You see there have been something strange going on  at all the beach’s in Equestria,”

“Yes you see,'”   Luna spoke with a calmer tone “All of the sea creatures have being guarding the shores and won’t let anypony in it have been an issue for far too long!”

“I see why don’t you just ask, Fluttershy?”

“We have but failed it seem all the creatures will stand their ground,” Celestia spoke with a hint of disappointment.

“Ok but what does this have to do with me?” she said with confusion in her tone

“Ah yes there have also been sighting of a dolphin like creature I was just asking can you and your friend keep watch on the beach’s during the week?”

“Of course princess anything I can do to help!”

“That is great Twilight,”

“Anything I can do for the princes- princesses!” She corrected herself

“AH THANK YOU AGAIN TWILIGHT TELL US YOUR FINDING NEXT WEEK AND NOW I’M OFF!” and with a flash she was gone

“Goodbye my former student and good luck” and again with a flash she was gone

“I guess I have to tell the girls now,” she mumbled quietly to herself “SPIIIIIIIIIIIIKE!”
