//-------------------------------------------------------// The Mermare -by immabronydealwithit- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Off to Sunny Shores Beach //-------------------------------------------------------// Off to Sunny Shores Beach “Soooo the princess of Equestria wants us to watch a beach for a week;” Twilight nodded “that is AWESOME!” “Yes, Twilight this sounds like an absolutely splendid idea I must thank the princess after this,” “Ah say, Twi this sound’s mighty fishy don’t ya reckon” The farm pony admitted “I know what you mean AJ but that is the princess’s orders,” the librarian replied “Um... so do we pack anything?” the yellow coated Pegasus asked “Yeah I guess so we are going to a beach,” “Ok girls we are gonna need sun cream, ice-cream, beach towels, lunch and my PARTY CANNON!” Pinkie announced while breaking the laws of reality by pulling out that cannon out of her mane “Pinkie do we really need that thing I mea-“Rarity began She was cut off by the most adorable pouty face Pinkie ever made “But I never leave home without,” Pinkie pouted ever more “It’s my pride and joy," Rarity gave in “Oh fine Pinkie but don’t bring that thing around me,” “Ok girls let’s get packing and meet here in 2 hours got it!” “Got it!” the five other mares said in unison as they scattered across town All the girls took the whole 2 hours to pack. Rarity was searching for her best beach wear, Rainbow was finding her signature shade’s, Applejack was informing her family about the trip, Pinkie was loading her party cannon and baking cupcakes at the same time, Fluttershy setting about animal feed and telling Angel to help her take care of the animal while she is gone with actually took some bribing and lastly Twilight was packing all the ink, quills and scroll’s to report her finding. It was late afternoon when they finally met up again “Ok girls are you ready to go?” Twilight asked “Yeah!” they said again in unison which caused Twilight to silently giggle “Ok then let’s go!” And so the adventure to Sunny Shore Beach begins //-------------------------------------------------------// Arrival //-------------------------------------------------------// Arrival The girls were headed towards the train station when Rarity had a sudden outburst. "Oh no oh nonono ohnoohnoohnoohno!” "What is it Rarity?" Twilight asked "Of all the worst thing that could happen...THIS IS THE WORST POSSIBLE THING!" and then Rarity red velvet couch surrounded by Rarity's magic aura came to catch her from her fall to the unforgiving floor "What is it Rarity?" Twilight asked again with a more stern tone "Well you see I was supposed to foal-sit the cutie mark crusaders and I completely forgot," "Oh I guess they could tag along to," suggested Fluttershy "Oh no that is a-" Twilight was cut off by Rarity "Great idea Fluttershy let me go fetch the girls and bring them here, give me fifteen minutes," "But oh fine then but if they cause any trouble their getting sent straight home got it!" "Yes darling I'll be right back," and with that Rarity scurried away to fetch the girls ~~~ At least an hour and a half later Rarity and the girls finally arrived at the Train station. "Sorry girls the little ones were quite excited about the trip," "Hey we are not little we are-" Sweetie belle nudged Scootaloo who nudged Apple Bloom "-THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS  BAY WATCHERS," "I'll be Pamela Ponyson!" Giggled Apple Bloom "That's very nice girls but, we better get going on the train," As if just on cue the train driver yelled "Train to Sunny Shores Beach!" ~~~ All the mares and the three fillies hoped on board. During the train ride the cutie mark crusaders were planning how to get their they're cutie mark, Fluttershy, Rarity and Twilight were enjoying the scenery, Pinkie was being Pinkie and Rainbow Dash and Applejack were having a hoof-wrestling contest. It was actually quite boring until there was a loud screeching noise and a yell coming from the driver "Stop Sunny Shores Beach!" All the girls made their way off the train and now were at the beach. Almost instantly the three fillies rush out to the water but were block by all kind's of sea creatures. Fluttershy's gazed shifted to the sea creatures and sighed "I tried to reason with them but they didn't even hear me out," all of here friends but Twilight had a shock expression on their faces, Speaking to animal's was Fluttershy talent even to think the animals didn't listen to her was shock. Silence fell upon the the group for a least a minute, Twilight was the one who broke it. "Ok girls are we going to stand her with dumbfounded looks on are faces or get on with the task?" Rainbow shook her head to get her out of her trance "We're gonna find out who is reason for this and kick their flank!" Rainbow exclaimed "That's the sprite, well accept the flank kicking part we are going to try reason with them and ask them to move the creature's," Twilight decided. All of a sudden Apple Bloom came running over panting for breath as she said "Girls...Scootaloo...Sweetie...got..somethin!" she said before she collapsed on the ground "Apple Bloom, Apple Bloom you there?" Rainbow was the first to speak. “That was AWESOME!” “Ah got to say that was mighty fine” “Um…it was nice” “That was absolutely splendid” “That was super dopper cool you were all like, Under the Sea and they were all like-“Pinkie trailed off “Um…but what do you mean by ‘Under the sea’ exactly?” Twilight asked “Oh yeah” she began “You see my name is Sea Berry Swirl, Princess of the sea-“ “PRINCESS” they said in unison “Yes a princess not well known kind because you see I am a” she paused for dramatic affect “A mermare” “WHAT!” they again in unison “Seriously didn't your mother teach you not to interrupt? anyways yes a mermare I live under the sea and take care of the critters that live under the sea you see haha that rhymed” Sea Berry chuckled “What you are saying YOU are a mermare princesses that live under the sea?” Twilight questioned “Yeah pretty much” She answered “No this can’t be possible; you’re just lying aren’t you” “Nope and let me prove it, a normal pony can’t last more than thirty seconds under water I can last as long as I want to” “Then show us or are you all talk and no show” Rainbow snickered “Well okay then a breath holding contests you and me” “Okay then. Ready, set GO!” Both competitors stuck their head’s in the water after at least a minute and a half later Rainbow brought her head up and gasped for air. “How…Is…she…still…going” she panted. It had been thirty minute since Sea Swirl stuck her head in the water all the girls were getting quiet nervous. Finally an hour later Sea Swirl rose “What you quit already it’s only been an hour” “Only an hour how can you even do that?” Twilight asked “I told you I’m a mermare who live under the sea you see" //-------------------------------------------------------// Come into my kingdom //-------------------------------------------------------// Come into my kingdom Now that the mood became more amicable, Rarity took a closer look at the mermare, she was a unicorn her coat was a sea foam color and her hair a very light blue her eye where like crystals and she wore and pearl necklace. Over all she was a stunning looking mare with a mane to die for, of course Rarity took notice of this and looked at her all over not a single hair was out of place,she was just perfect “Might I say Miss. Swirl your mane is very well cared for, can you share your secret?” “Well Miss-“Sea Swirl began “Rarity” “Ah yes, well Miss. Rarity the shrimp in my kingdom are very good at mane styling” “Oh then never mind I guess I will never have a mane as beautiful as yours” Rarity sighed “Oh don’t think ahead of herself my dear Rarity” “What do you mean?” “Oh you know I’m a unicorn” Rarity nodded “Well I could work up some magic to get you to breath under water so we can visit the, Shrimp Salon” “Really!” Rarity squealed “Yeah it will be a good way to show you my Kingdom” “Whoa Whoa Whoa!”  Rainbow interrupted “If Rarity is going we’re going too, right girls” all the girls nodded “Okay then the more the merrier” she chirped “Stand in a line over there” She point a hoof at a spot on the beach near some rocks All the girls did what they were told. To say they were a bit nervous was like comparing a spoon a sugar to a lemon, they were scared for their lives their anxiety level was sky rocking with questions like. What is she doing? Is this safe? What if she is just an evil enchantress? Is she going to kill us? Etc. Their entire questions were answered. Not only were they just blasted with a ball a magic, they were under the crystals clear water of Sunny Shore Beach and to top it all off Sea Swirl hind legs were no longer there, they were replaced by what look like a tail. “Um…Sea Swirl where are your legs?” Fluttershy asked “Fluttershy what do you mean?” Rainbow began “Her legs…are…right…there “Rainbow trailed off as she gazed shifted to Sea Berry. “What in the world!” Rainbow yelled. By now all the girls had noticed Sea Swirls legs “Girls calm down” Sea Swirl said “Didn't I just tell you I’m a mermare” she joked. All the girls took some time to calm down, but when they did they just realized they were breathing under water with a mermare and they were okay with. “Girls follow me I will lead you to my kingdom” she said while swimming towards north. The girls tried to keep up with her but sadly they didn't have a strong tail like hers, Sea Swirls noticed they were far behind her so she swan back grabbed all of their hoof's by surprised and dragged them along the water until they arrived at a majestic looking kingdom “Wow!” was all they could choke up. This was no ordinary kingdom well of course it wasn’t ordinary it was under the water. Not only was there a beautiful castle, there were other mermares, colts, fillies and stallions swimming around going about like the ponies of Ponyville. All the girls were in awe of the kingdom, some might say in was better than Canterlot. “Girls follow me I’ll show you my castle” she said while swimming along the street. While she was swimming she greeted the mercolts and fillies of her kingdom. When they finally reach the centrepiece of the city “Welcome to Hooflantis” She said with a very regal tone. There was a faint voice herd from inside the castle it got closer by the second until a young looking unicorn merfilly with a dark blue coat and a dark blue and white mane came out yelling “Sister, Sister I am so glad your home!” as she said that she jumped into her sisters hoof’s and brought her to a bone-crushing hug. “Hello…Blue Wave” she said between gasps “Could…you…let me…go” she pleaded “Oh” The young mermare let go and grinned sheepishly “Sorry” she apologized “Thank you,  Blue Wave” she said as she dusted herself off “Blue Wave I would like you to meet some new friend of mine, please introduce yourself girls” the only reason she didn’t introduce them herself is because she didn’t really know their names yet. All the girls introduced themselves one by one and, Blue Wave introduced herself too. “Hi I’m Blue Wave first in line for the throne, happy to be at your acquaintance.” She bowed as she spoke “Blue Wave why do you have to be so formal around guest,” she joked. Blue Wave blushed “Hey don’t embarrass me!” she snapped, Sea Swirl just grabbed her head a nugied it even though she pleaded for her to stop,all the girls da’aww at the sight of the sisterly love and found it quite cute. Sea Swirl finally stopped when Blue Wave threatened to call their parents “Fine fine I’ll stop” she said, Blue Wave huffed she knew her sister did that to show she loved her but it got quite annoying at times. “Don’t do it again” she ordered “Ohhh who’s got their fins in a twist” she joked “Um…girls we’re still here you know” Twilight informed “Oh yeah” she blushed “Follow me Rarity I’ll take you to the Salon, Blue Wave you tour the girls around the castle and if mother or father see you tell them they’re friend of mine, Okay!” “Okay sis bye.” She said as she pushed the five remaining girls into the door. //-------------------------------------------------------// Shrimp salon //-------------------------------------------------------// Shrimp salon When the girls finally were in the door Sea Swirl spoke “Okay the salon is this way” she pointed her hoof west to a very busy looking road “Okay let’s get to those shrimp; wow I never thought I’d ever had to say that,” she confessed “Well if we’re down here for long get use to saying ‘Hello Miss Octopus that’s a very nice tentacle polish you have on’” she said while trying to imitate Rarity voice, Rarity chuckled at her attempt “Well if you live on land all you hear is ‘Buy some apples buy some freshly bucked apples’” Rarity said putting on her Applejack impression. Both girls laughed at their attempts to imitate their friends “Or maybe ‘Make way for Rainbow Dash the cockiest mare in Equestria’” Sea Swirl tried “Oh and ‘Maybe later guy I have to read this book the princess gave to me’” Rarity put in. By now both girls were laughing so much tear were forming, they spent a while imitating voices “Or maybe ‘My faithful student I need you to clean the royal chamber, send me a letter when you’re done’” Rarity tried (and failed) to do Celestia’s voice “Oh oh this is my dad ‘Go to your room you broke the window again’ Sea Swirl laughed. Both girls were clutching their sides, they had just imitated all their friend and stared doing imitation of random ponies and merponies they were having the time of their lives, they finally arrived at the salon “Well here we are Rarity,” Sea Swirl showed Rarity inside. As soon as the shrimp and the mermares there saw Sea Swirl they all bowed “Rise!” Sea Swirl ordered. All the shrimp and mermares rose. A very sassy looking shrimp came and asked “What can I do for you, your majesty?” she asked “Well you can start calling me by my name thank you!” she huffed “And it is not I that needs your service today.” She pointed a hoof a Rarity “I told Miss. Rarity here you are great at mane styling and so she needs your assistance,” “Oh course you highness.” The shrimp said, Sea Swirl fake coughed a bit “I mean Sea Swirl!” she correct herself “Right this way Miss,” Rarity followed the shrimp to a chair “Sit down Miss.” Rarity did as she was told. The next hour consisted of Wash, rise and repeat, and then finally they got to business. The shrimp was cutting, curling, blow-drying and styling at alarming rates. At the end Rarity mane was stunning, the tips of her mane were curled and her mane slightly drooped over her horn, she was beautiful (She kind of looked like this) “Rarity I think we should get going. Thank you Miss. Shrimp for your assistance I appreciate it very much,” “No problem Sea Swirl it’s my pleasure,” and with their goodbyes said they exited the building. “That shrimp is a very good mane stylist, even better than the one Ponyville!” “Really I never thought they were that good,” “Oh yeah I must come here more often if that’s okay with you,” “No problem Rarity, though we should head back to the castle who know's what my sister has shown them.” “What do you mean?” Rarity asked “Oh nothing” Sea Swirls chirped “Okay then led the way” she said with a bit a suspicion in her tone. Sea Swirl just shrugged at her friend sudden odd behaviour, she grab Rarity’s hoof and pulled her past the street, through the castle gates and into the door “Welcome to my humble home!” Sea Swirl announced. But her home was anything but humble it was marvellous. When you entered there was a big seating/waiting area you could stay with a red velvet carpet, and in the middle there was a grand gold staircase which lead to five other, and there was a hallway as far as the eye could each side of the hallway had more than twenty doors on each side, each door was made of the shiniest gold that could make Canterlot look like building blocks, oh and the chandeliers were as clear as crystals in fact they were crystals. Rarity was in awe of the place Sea Swirl called a ‘humble home’. “Is this what you call a humble home Sea Swirl?” “Yeah pretty much.” she answered “Wow you must have a lot of bits lying around” Rarity claimed “Um…what are bits?” “What you don’t know what bits are?” “No we don’t I use sand dollars” “Oh okay, should we go find the girls?” “Yeah follow me,” Sea Swirl said. Rarity followed, Sea Swirl down to hallway, they were halfway across when they herd giggles coming from a door. They opened the door to find the five mares all sitting around, Blue Wave who was flipping through some sort of book “Blue Wave that isn’t the family photo album?” Sea Swirl asked “Ummm maybe it is maybe it isn’t.” Blue Wave joked “Hey Sea Swirl I didn’t know so much food could fit on a face.” Rainbow commented, all the girl laughed at her comment “BLUE WAVE YOU’RE SO DEAD!” Sea Swirl yelled and tackled her sister to the ground and started to strangle her “I told you never to show anyone that!” “DAAAAD!” Blue Wave yelled. A few second their father came into the room to a sight that made his eyes want to pop out. “SEA BERRY SWIRL YOUR ROOM NOW!” “But daddy,” Sea Swirls pleaded “NOW!” He ordered. While she was walking out she mumbled “Stupid dad.” “Sorry for that girls, oh and Blue Wave Swirl what did you do get your sister so upset?” “Well” she chuckled nervous “I…kind of showed her friend the family album…” “You WHAT! You know angry she gets when you do that!” “Hehe sorry…” “Auggh what am I going to do with you, Blue Wave go apologizes to your sister okay,” “Fine, girls wait here please.” “Thank you, Blue Wave now girls I am very sorry for my daughter behaviour, let me offer you mares something.” He said and swam out of the room. A few minutes later he came back with hoof full jewellery. “Here is so rare jewels I can offer you, please accept them” Rarity didn’t have to think twice about this gift, she quickly said thank you and grabbed one of the pieces of jewellery the others did the same. Blue and Sea Swirl father excused himself to talk to his daughter’s.  An hour later he came back with his two daughter’s at his side. “Girls tell them what you told me,” “I’m sorry” they mumbled “Good now you go have fun, Oh yeah you are both grounded for a week” He smirked “Awwww but daddy-“they whined “No buts, but for now toddles!” he chirped as he left the room “My dad says toddles,” Sea Swirl said flatly and face-hoofed “At least his says it well…I think.” Blue Wave put in, Suddenly their dads heads popped up from the corner “Oh yeah no using you iClams, or shell tops too!” he added and disappeared again. “Girls if you need me I’ll be in the garden thinking over my life” Sea Swirl said as she began to swim away “Can I join you sis?” Blue Wave asked “Sure.” Sea Swirl replied. With that said they swam out of the room to the garden.   The minute the girls left silence filled the room, Twilight, finally spoke up “Girl I think we should head home” “What but, Twilight, we haven’t even seen all of the castle yet” Pinkie whined “I know Pinkie but I have to tell Princess Celestia about this!” Twilight answered. Suddenly the whole Swirl family appeared in front of her. “Princess who now!” “Princess Celestia” she repeated “No you can’t tell her we have tried to hide from her for the past twenty year, you girls are the only ones to have seen are kingdom, if you tell anyone a secret will be told everywhere, EVERY-WHERE!” “What do you mean you hid from her?” “Are population was nearly wiped out because of her!”  Sea Swirl’s mother hissed “She has been a disgrace in the mermare kind for years!” Their father put in “She took granmare away from us!” Blue Wave said as tear formed in her eyes “Well I’m sorry but I have to tell her, it’s a scientific discovery!” Twilight snapped “Well I’m sorry we have to do this,” He glanced towards her family “This won’t sting a bit” he said with a dark tone. Suddenly their horns lit up and with a flash of green light all they could see was darkness and that was the last thing they saw //-------------------------------------------------------// Blasted again //-------------------------------------------------------// Blasted again Twilight groggily opened her eyes; all she remembered was being zapped by some magic and falling asleep. Twilight stared to stir awake and met the gaze of Sea Swirl “Ah you’re finally awake took you long enough.” She said in a hushed tone “Hey where am I?” Twilight asked “You’re in the castle dungeon.” She replied “What why!?” She yelled. She didn’t realise that her yelling woke up the other girls and they were watching quietly “Well you see you want to tell Princess Celestia about our species so we tied you and your friend here.” She replied “Well you know I can just teleport us out of here.” “No you can’t I put a spell on you so you can’t use magic.” She explained. Suddenly there was a sound of a door closing and a sigh “Finally he’s gone!” Sea Swirl said “Are you alright?” “What do you mean am I alright it sounded like you were about to kill me!” Twilight exclaimed “Oh yeah sorry about that, well your lucky look what I’m wearing.” She said as she revealed the leather outfit she was wearing. Twilight blushed as she saw the outfit it was a black leather outfit and she had some sort of police hat on. The girls just looked at each other, blushes printed on their coat; they stayed like that for a while until they heard a wolf whistle “Woo Wee that outfit of your look mighty fine don’t ya reckon?” Applejack said. Sea Swirls blush was now beaming through her coat “Well yes but anyway, let’s get you guys out of here before father comes back” She started to untie the gang of friends “Um…girls it won’t come loose.” “Here let me try.” Twilight said “Could you please undo your spell.” “Oh yeah!” she said as she cast the counter “There you go!” Sea Swirl said. Twilight, cast the spell and the rope fell to the floor with a quite ‘thud’ “Okay girls you better get home before my father come back, I’ll lead the way out.” She said as she started to swim out of the dungeon. Sea Swirl was swift about her movements, her back was against the wall while she slid careful not to make any noise “Girls there is the door you better get moving.” She ordered as she swam across the floor. The girls were able to get to the door without a sound. Sea Swirl opened the door and let the girls out “You girls have a safe journey home and Twilight,” Twilight turned her head around “Please try keep this a secret, For the merpony kind please if you do don’t let Celestia get near us I don’t want to lose any more of us.” She pleaded. Twilight nodded and swam away leaving a very scared pony behind. It has been a week since the mermare incident. Twilight has tried her best to keep them a secret but is slowly started to slip from her promise. “Twilight Sparkle I am going to ask one more time, what happened when you were at the beach?” Celestia questioned with higher volume than usual “Nothing import, Princess. I told you we just saw the animals on the shore.” Twilight lied “Twilight I know you are lying please tell me what happened.” Celestia pleaded “Well… what happened is sort of…secret” Twilight confessed “And I was sworn to secrecy not to tell and to tell would really anger the pony who has the secret.” Twilight also put in “You found merponies, didn’t you?” Celestia said flatly “WHAT! How did you know?” Twilight yelled “I have met the merponies before, very interesting creatures. Sadly one day I came back to my lab and they were all gone, it’s a shame, now Twilight where did you find them?” Celestia asked “Sorry Princess but I can’t share information. I know what you did to does merponies and it was cruel!” Twilight yelled “I know it seemed wrong but it was in the name of science and it was a scientific breakthrough, even though I only knew about it.” Celestia said “Sorry Celestia but I have to go.”Twilight said as she began to walk away from the table they were sitting out “Not so fast Twilight Sparkle” Celestia ordered. Celestia horn lit up a royal gold and shot a blast at Twilight. It was the second time this month that Twilight had been hit with magic. But this time was slightly different, intend of darkness she saw light and then was knocked out cold //-------------------------------------------------------// Oh Buck //-------------------------------------------------------// Oh Buck Twilight awoke to a slap to the face. “OUCH!” Twilight hollered. “What the hell was that?!” She looked up to find herself in the library, with Princess Celestia staring bemusedly down on her, while her hooves were tied loosely together by rope. Celestia shook her head. “Tut, tut, Twilight such foul language. Now who were you with when at Sunny Shores Beach?” she asked in a detective type manner. “The girls and the Cutie…Mark…Crusaders…” Twilight stammered, her eyes widening in horror as the memory came back to her. “What is the problem, Twilight?” Celestia asked. “WE LEFT THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS AT THE BEACH!” Twilight screamed. With all the strength and power she could wield, she teleported out of the rope and reappeared on the outskirts of Ponyville. “Girls! Girls, we forgot the Cutie Mark Crusaders!” she screamed, as she ran through town, passed Fluttershy’s cottage, passed Carousel Boutique, passed Rainbow Dash’s cloud home and right around again into Sweet Apple Acres. She found Applejack beside a tree on the outskirts of the farm. The earth pony was about to kick her hind legs out and kick down the apples, but stopped when she saw and heard Twilight’s frantic screaming. “Good gravy, girl, what got into ya?” she asked as Twilight skidded to a halt beside her. “Applejack, do you have Applebloom?” Twilight asked. “No, a-ah thought she was stayin’ Scootaloo for the week.” Applejack replied, staring oddly at Twilight. “Why, what’s wrong?” “I think we left her and the girls at the beach!” Applejack’s eyes widened with fright. “Well, buck,” she cursed, stomping the ground with a hoof. “Should we go round up the girls and head back to the beach again?” “Yeah, come on,” Twilight said, and with Applejack began to head into town again. It took fifteen minutes to round up the girls at the train station. Once there, the pair briefly explained what had happened, which Rarity nearly fainted upon hearing. Once the unicorn had recovered enough to move, the girls took the first train to the beach. It took an hour to get there, and in that time, two of the six ponies paced up and down the train car they occupied, their minds festering with worry over their sisters. “Oh, don’t worry, Rarity and Applejack, I’m sure they are okay,” Fluttershy said confidently, even though she fidgeted in her seat. When the train stopped at the station, the six ponies leapt off the car and galloped down to the beach. When they arrived onto the beach, they were met by met by four familiar faces. “I believe these fillies are yours,” The mer-mare said, gesturing with a hoof at the three fillies before her. “Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you, Sea Swirl,” Rarity said as she slowed her pace. “We were so worried about you three,” Rarity said to the Cutie Mark Crusaders. “Well they were very brave. But when they saw me swim out of the water, I could have sworn Sweetie Belle peed a bit,” Sea Swirl chuckled. All Sweetie Belle’s blood ran up to her face and created the cutest looking blush ever. The fillies ran up to their respective caretakers. “Oh, Sea Swirl, I have something to tell you,” Twilight said hesitantly. “Celestia has found out we live here, didn’t she?” “How is it that everypony can read my mind?!” Twilight complained. She took a deep breath, and then looked back at Sea Swirl. “Anyway yes she did.” Sea Swirl sighed. “Ah, I knew this day would come. But it’s not going to end like the last time. We need to talk to her like civilized ponies.” “Well, I don't think you have much time to plan a speech,” Pinkie interrupted. “That's Celestia over there.” She pointed a hoof to the sky, where Celestia’s chariot was approaching rapidly. “Oh buck,” Twilight swore. //-------------------------------------------------------// New Adventure //-------------------------------------------------------// New Adventure After Ariel had jumped into the water, the rest soon followed. Once they had met up again it was the same sort of conversation they had before – very awkward. After they had reached the castle gates, however, things began the get heated. “Halt! You do not have permission to enter, Celestia! If you try to fight we will have no problem attacking!” one of the guards said, as the Princess floated into a fighting stance. “Silver Blade, she is allowed to enter under my permission,” Ariel said to the guard. After a moment, he quickly apologized and let them in, keeping a close eye on Celestia as they did. After they had gotten inside, Ariel announced with as much volume as her voice could muster. “Mum, Dad, I’m home, and I brought some visitors with me!” As she yelled, the rest of the group was surprised of how she could make the water shake with her volume. When her parents came out to greet her, they were shocked silent by the alicorn before them. “Sea Berry Swirl, why has thou brought this tyrant into my household?!” her father yelled at the top of his lungs “Father, I have brought Celestia before you because we are here to talk things out between are two species,” she replied, keeping a calm and collected tone. “Well I do not wish to speak to this beast you call a ‘Princess’,” her mother hissed. “Mother, we do not use sarcasm while talking to guest, remember?” “Well, I can be sarcastic to the pony who killed my mother!” she cried, fresh tears threatening to spill. “King Triton and Queen Athena I wish to patch up old scars and start anew. Will you accept my dearest apologies?” “As if I would forgive a tyrant like you!” Athena said as she flicked her snout in the air letting her long red hair flow down. “Mother, I can sense that Celestia is very sorry. But if you do not forgive her, how will we ever live in peace in this small world? If you don’t forgive her our secret may be told by the ponies behind us? If we do not forgive, how will we move in life? If we do not forgive...” “I think we get it, dear,” her mother said flatly to her. “Okay, so what I’m saying is that if we don’t move on from the past, how can we make a new future?” she asked as she gave a questioning stare to her mother. “Well I see your point, but what if she turns her back on us and kills you?” “Then I will die knowing I tried. And to prove to you that above the water is safe I am going to move there for a time a tell everypony who I am. If they do not accept this, then I will return, but if things take a turn for the worse, then we’ll have to prepare.” “Honey, that’s so dangerous, what if someone tries to hurt you?” her mother asked worriedly. “No more questions, mother, fetch my Shelltop, iClam, and my tiara and I’ll be on my way.” “Sugercube, are ya sure you want to do this? It may be a lot harder that it sounds.” “Of course I’m sure! Come on let’s go. I’ll meet you at the shore. Mother, father, tell Aquata, Andrina, Arista, Atina, Adella, and Allana that I said bye.” “What about Blue Wave?” Pinkie asked “That’s Andrina. We all have are second names we use to make us seem individual so ponies don’t get is mixed up.” “Why haven’t we seen *gasp* Aquata, Arista, Atina, Adella or Allana yet?” Fluttershy said gasping for air. “Because they live all over the ocean with the princes. It’s silly really me and Andrina are the only ones who stayed.” “But what about Blue Wa… Sorry Andrina, wouldn’t she be upset?” Fluttershy asked again. “Naw, she got lots of friends from all around the ocean she’ll be fine.” “Honey…” her father said with a sigh. Everypony turned their heads. “Good luck,” he said, giving her the most sincere smile he could muster. After he had said that Ariel swam up her parents and dragged them into warm embrace, which was shortly followed by a group of ‘awwws’ and one ‘eww’ that was met by a punch to the shoulder. After she had packed, said goodbye to her family for one last time, and swam up to the shore followed by the group of ponies, Ariel declared with a heroic voice. “Time for an adventure!” //-------------------------------------------------------// Introduction and Bullies //-------------------------------------------------------// Introduction and Bullies And so the adventure of the Mermare princess and the girls begins. After a short train ride, and an explanation of how the Internet and phones work and the giving out of free phones (and some notes from Twilight.) they finally arrived in Ponyville just before the busy hours of Ponyville had begun. The girls and princess trudged through Ponyville hoping the go undiscovered by the Ponies just about ready the begin their own morning routine, just when they thought they were all clear the clock struck one and all went hectic. Ponies were rushing out of their doors heading to what looked like a bit late for work or the begin opening up shop at the market place, foals of all different colors were running out the open green fields celebrating by playing all sorts of games because of weekends, teen mares and stallions were just walking down the street joined hooves while the young lings made faces of disgusted. But even with all this chaos around nopony failed to not notice the two alicorns princesses and the element bearers around the, almost imminently everypony began to crowd around the bowing while doing so. “Princess Celestia what are you doing here on such short notice? Is there something wrong?” Mayor Mare exclaimed over the noise of concern and worry growing crowd “No, I just thought of coming for a little visit with the girls, you know a ‘Girl’s day out’ as you say,” Celestia said nervously scratching the back of her head “And me and the girls would like to be alone for the day.” After Celestia had said that the crowd began to calm down again and some were beginning to leave before a little colt yelled “Who’s the other blue one!?” he yelled before his mother shushed him. After the colt had said that the crowd chatter began to rise again with more curiosity than fear. “Oh, I’ll let her introduce herself.” Celestia gave Ariel a little nudge but she stood still, she tried again but a harder but that had activated one of the worst reactions she had ever seen. “WATER!” Ariel screamed a steam started to rise around her coat “Where the water, it burns!” The crowd had begun to walk slowly away while Ariel had went on screaming calling Celestia for help. When she turned around she saw what looked like heaven to her. A giant water gushing cold fountain, before anypony knew it Ariel was in galloping in the fountain when she suddenly realised something, she would turn it she dive in. She tried to teleport away but it was too late when she hit the water there was a bright light and flash. After the ponies has come back to their sense they were all shocked except for a certain seven ponies who all facehoofed. There in the middle of the fountain was the mythical Mermare mane was dripping wet with some hair dye with it the revealed her beautiful blood red mane. “A real life Mermare!” a certain white filly with a curly mane yelled. After those word had been spoken the crowd of ponies all seemed to forget about Celestia and all turned all their focused towards the Mermare. “Oh my Celestia, I can’t believe their real told you so Scootaloo!” Sweetie Belle ran up to the Mermare a strangely started stroking her mane as did some other pony who touched her tail and her fin some even feeling her face much to her disgust. “Please can you stop touching my face and whoever put their hoof in my hoof wash them, they taste look mule hair, no offence.” Ariel said “No taken!” a familiar mule who now had flowers in his hair as she skipped along the path. Celestia only stood there a little smile on her face as she tried not to laugh. After she had regain her composter she walked through the crowd and standing in front of Ariel. “Ponies of Ponyville! I would like you to meet Ariel, Princess of the Sea and Ruler of Sea Creatures,” After she said that there was a thunderous applause that Celestia had to silence “You ponies may not know Merponies have been living in Equestria for many years now, but have chosen to stay hidden for the past two-hundred years now, but because of a terrible war between the Ponies and Merponies they have not spoken the each other in many years now,  but thanks to a very long chat between the two kinds we have gained little trust between them and Ariel have be sent for closer inspection, so I trust you ponies to treat her like another citizen of Equestria!” After Celestia had finished her speech there was another applause which was well louder than the former. When Celestia had finished she turned around expecting Ariel to want to say something, but when she did, she was surrounded by five teen boys about Ariel’s age and were yelling in her face, Celestia was pretty sure they were all drunk because all their world came out like slurs and if it wasn’t it was unbelievably rude. “Oh look what we have here lads a silly little cosplayer,” the other boys grunted in agreement “And you know what we do the cos-player, tie her up boys.” She said not even taking in the fact that Princess Celestia was right behind him. A pony with common sense would have stepped in to stop them, but Celestia had more than common sense so instead she told all the ponies to stay back as she watched. “Please go, I don’t want to hurt anypony.” Ariel pleaded, the colts didn’t even take notice to her at all, but continued to poke her or say very harsh words “Fine you brought this upon yourself.” She whispered as she began to stare deeply into the eyes of the other colts the boss was not paying attention too. “Boss, are you sure she’s a cosplayer? She looks real pretty.” Another black pony with a yellow mane asked “Of course I’m sure to you think Merponies exist, what are you two and stop taking like a pirate?” “No sure it’s just because how could we kidnap a pony who is some darn beautiful…” he said trailing of at the part “What do you mean Rider we don’t have time for this-“He turned around but when he did he made the biggest mistake of his life. “Upon one summer's morning, I carelessly did stray…” Ariel began to sing //-------------------------------------------------------// Beginning's //-------------------------------------------------------// Beginning's It was a beautiful day in Ponyville, the birds were singing, the apples were being bucked, and the sky was covered in streak of a certain pony’s tail. It was peaceful until there was a ‘thud’ that literally shook the ground. Of course (Princess) Twilight was the first to look out her window only to meet the gaze of the sun and  moon goddess themselves, “Princess!” Twilight squealed at her former mentor and ran out the door. “It so great to see you, are you here because of the new friendship report or the boo-“ she was cut off by Luna’s royal canterlot voice “TWILIGHT I SEE YOU AND MY SISTER HAS A LOT TO CATCH UP ON BUT WE ARE HERE TO DISCUSS A VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE!” “That is correct Luna," Celestia turned her gaze to Twilight “You see there have been something strange going on  at all the beach’s in Equestria,” “Yes you see,'”   Luna spoke with a calmer tone “All of the sea creatures have being guarding the shores and won’t let anypony in it have been an issue for far too long!” “I see why don’t you just ask, Fluttershy?” “We have but failed it seem all the creatures will stand their ground,” Celestia spoke with a hint of disappointment. “Ok but what does this have to do with me?” she said with confusion in her tone “Ah yes there have also been sighting of a dolphin like creature I was just asking can you and your friend keep watch on the beach’s during the week?” “Of course princess anything I can do to help!” “That is great Twilight,” “Anything I can do for the princes- princesses!” She corrected herself “AH THANK YOU AGAIN TWILIGHT TELL US YOUR FINDING NEXT WEEK AND NOW I’M OFF!” and with a flash she was gone “Goodbye my former student and good luck” and again with a flash she was gone “I guess I have to tell the girls now,” she mumbled quietly to herself “SPIIIIIIIIIIIIKE!” //-------------------------------------------------------// The Body //-------------------------------------------------------// The Body The five mares searched and searched for the two fillies, But with no luck they were about to give up until. “Girls!” Pinkie Exclaimed “What is it Pinkie.” Twilight grunted. Twilight thought Pinkie was just being Pinkie and she was going to say something like ‘Made you look’ “Over there Twilight, look!” Pinkie bounced “Fine” the princess mumbled. Twilight looked to where Pinkie was pointing and to her surprise there were the girls, sitting on the sand looking at a weird looking rock. “Girls we’re over here!” Twilight yelled “Oh hey Twilight, Look what we found” Sweetie Answered. Twilight and the girls trotted over to gasp at what they thought was a rock was a body. “Girls what the HAY is that?” Rainbow asked “Oh we found it on the beach and were just staring at it.” “Wow…that is the dumbest idea I’ve ever heard, and trust I’ve herded many dumb ideas I live with Spike” Twilight said flatly. All the girls giggled at this little joke. “We didn’t know what to do,” Scootaloo argued “You better report this to the Princess Celestia, Twilight who knows what happened to this poor pony.” A yell could be herded from the distance; the girls figured it was Applejack “What ya’ll staring at” “Oh hey Applejack, the girls just found a body on the beach and were staring at it” Twilight answered “Twi what you-“ She was cut off as her gaze fell on they the body “What in tarnation!” “Yeah I know right,” “Girls get away from that that…THING! It may have a disease.” Applejack ordered, as if the body heard her it started to stir, all the girls jumped away in fear “Ugh…where am I?” it spoke “Um...Welcome to Equestria” //-------------------------------------------------------// The Truth //-------------------------------------------------------// The Truth Celestia chariot screech to a stop. Immediately Sea Swirl started to move forward, trying to show no fear but failing. “H-hello Celestia, it has been a long time, hasn’t it?” she greeted “It has, hasn’t it?” “It has.” She replied “Um hum” Celestia said “Yeah.” “Soo…” “Yeah…” “Okay…” “I’M THE ONE WHO STOLE THE COOKIES!” Sea Swirl suddenly blurted out “What?” Celestia said with a puzzled look “Never mind, okay back to the matter at hand, I’m not going to let you take me, or my Seaponies, you got it?” “No, I need to do research.” Celestia complained “Well could we talk out this situation like grown ponies?” “Yeah we could.” “Yeah.” “Okay.” “That’s good." “Okay are we just going to do this all day?” “I guess, not let us head to this castle of yours, shall we?” “Yes come this way.” Sea Swirl said guiding the way to the water with Celestia following closely behind. “Why ya’ll reckon everypony is acting all strange?” Applejack whispered to Twilight as they walked behind the two very awkward looking ponies “I don’t know Applejack, but I want to find out” Twilight replied. Twilight walked up between the two princesses and asked “So, have you two met before?” she asked “No!” they both shouted in unison making the other ponies turn their heads. “N-no we haven’t, it’s not like when I was filly we were best friend but then Celestia went insane and almost killed me or anything!” She blurted out again, making Celestia facehoof. “Well thanks for telling everypony, Ariel!” Celestia said sighing “Wait, what do you mean by Ariel?” Rarity asked “Well you see…” Sea Swirl hesitated “My name is not, Sea Berry Swirl at all, it is Ariel and my hair is not naturally blue and white it is red. You see I changed my name after I lost Celestia so she could never recognize me, but I guess it didn’t work.” She said sadly “So let me get this straight,” Pinkie interrupted “You and Celestia have been friends since you were a filly and you been lying about you identify?” Sea Swirl nodded “Well here we are.” Ariel said as they reached the shore line “Come on in you know the spell” she said to Celestia while she cast the spell on the six girls and, three fillies. She finished the spell and jumped into the ocean and disappeared from sight
