It had been a long journey. Queen Chrysalis had sent Chrysalis P0n-3 on a mission to Canterlot. After three days of flight and rest, he had arrived.
He had not expected a warm welcome, so when the first ponies he saw at the gates of Canterlot were Shining Armor and the rest of the royal guard, he wasn't surprised.
"Halt! Who goes there?" Came the question from Shining Armor.
"Hello. My name is Chrysalis P0n-3. I am here to see Princess Celestia. I would like to apologize for the actions of myself and my brethren and see if I can start anew."
"Flash Sentry, please call for the princess and find out if that's ok," came the reply.
The aforementioned pony departed. Chrysalis P0n-3 and Shining Armor just glared at each other. The changeling could tell Shining Armor didn't quite know what to think about all of this. After a few minutes, Flash Sentry returned and whispered something in Shining Armor's ear.
"Follow me," Shining Armor requested of Chrysalis P0n-3. The walk to the castle seemed a lot longer than it really was. The changeling could sense hostility from the captain of the royal guard.
After they arrived at the castle, they entered. Shining Armor led the changeling all the way to the throne room where Princess Celestia sat.
"Your highness," Chrysalis P0n-3 bowed as he spoke.
"That's quite alright, you may rise," the princess replied. "A changeling has a lot of nerve showing their face around here, though. What do you have to say?"
"Princess Celestia... I'm so sorry for what my brethren and I did. I've been sent here by Queen Chrysalis. We all beg your forgiveness. We would like to live in peace and harmony amongst the ponies here and learn all about friendship from all of you." Chrysalis P0n-3 started to get choked up with tears. He couldn't continue speaking.
"Perhaps I've been a little too quick to pass judgement," the princess replied. "All the same, it would be too risky to let Queen Chrysalis and all the changelings return here now. I hope you understand."
"Yes, I understand, I just wanted to apologize. I'm sure Shining Armor can show me out. Thank you, Princess Celestia," the changeling could barely get out. He started to turn around when a reply came.
"Chrysalis P0n-3 is it? Flash Sentry said that's what your name is," the princess asked.
"Yes?" Came the reply.
"I said I can't be quick to let Queen Chrysalis and the entire changeling army return, but I didn't say anything about you," said the princess. You may stay in Ponyville and you will be welcome either here or there any time you please, so long as you behave. I believe Twilight Sparkle has been working on a spell that may help you if you truly do wish to be reformed."
"Thank you, Princess Celestia, you don't know how much that means to me," replied Chrysalis P0n-3.
"Shining Armor, will you escort him to Twilight's library, please?" asked the princess.
"As you command," Shining Armor replied.
On the way to Twilight's library, Chrysalis P0n-3 sensed that perhaps Shining Armor was warming up to him a little bit. They made small talk about spells and the changeling apologized to the stallion personally. Most of the ponies they passed along the way were startled to see a changeling around these parts. As was Twilight Sparkle when she answered her door.
"Shining Armor why are you with a CHANGELING and who the hoof is that anyway?" She enquired.
"Twiley we need to come in," her brother responded.
Reluctantly, she let both of them in. She hugged her brother. "All the same, it's good to see you," she said.
Spike walked downstairs holding a letter. "Twilight, you need to read this," he said and handed her the letter. She used her magic to hold it in front of her and read it.
"Right. If Princess Celestia wants me to test that spell on you and she says she believes your story, I can't complain," she said. "Will you two wait outside for a few minutes, please?" She indicated to her brother and Spike. They obliged.
"Please stand as still as you possibly can," she requested of the changeling. Her horn lit up cardinal red, and a stream of the same color flowed to Chrysalis P0n-3's horn. After a few seconds, the spell was finished.
"How do you feel?" Twilight asked him.
"Good. Thank you. By the way, I think you know my name from the letter, but it's Chrysalis P0n-3," came the reply.
There was an awkward silence. "Right. I think I'll be leaving now," said the changeling. Both were blushing.
Chrysalis P0n-3 made his way out the door and Twilight instantly used her magic to fetch one of her spell books she'd been reading recently. As she did before, she held it in front of her using her magic. She mumbled a couple sentences and the spell was broken out of shock. The book fell to the floor.
"Oh no..."

It was another beautiful day in Ponyville. The skies were clear today because Rainbow Dash had already cleared them. She knew Chrysalis P0n-3 was coming over, so she wanted to get done early. She had the night off from her other job. Just then, she heard a knock on the door. "Come in!" She shouted. 'Usually he just comes in. Maybe it's somepony else', she thought.
Rainbow Dash made her way to the door and opened it. There stood Lyra Heartstrings. "Can I help you, Lyra?"
"I was just wondering if I could borrow that Daring Do book from you?" She replied.
"Oh, right, I forgot all about that", Dash responded. "Let me get that for you."
After a couple moments, Dash was back with the book. Lyra thanked her and left. Not ten seconds after that, Chrysalis P0n-3 walked in.
"Lyra Heartstrings was just here to borrow one of my Daring Do books. She knocked and I thought it was you. How silly of me," Rainbow Dash said.
"Oh yeah?" He had seen Lyra from a distance and saw where she was going. He waited until it was clear until he came.
"Yeah, so how have you been?" Dash asked as he hugged her and kissed her on the cheek.
"Great," he replied.
"So you ready for that race?" Dash asked him.
"I'm not sure if I can beat you, but I'm up for it," he responded as he followed her out the door.
"First one to Sugarcube Corner and back wins," Dash said, as the cyan pony and the changeling got into the ready positions. "1, 2, GO!"
And with that, they were off, dodging around rooftops and other obstacles, trying not to look at each other, so as not to slow down. Chrysalis P0n-3 noticed out of the corner of his eye that Dash tried to take a risky turn around Twilight's library and didn't quite make the necessary adjustment in time, so she had to momentarily slow down. 'That'll cost her a few seconds,' he thought.
Dash made it to Sugarcube Corner just a hair before the changeling did. Both made an abrupt stop in mid-air, touched the building, and started zooming back in the other direction.
On the return trip, however, Dash really stepped up her game and she was just a blur. All the same, Chrysalis P0n-3 made some daring turns and dodges and managed to arrive after Dash had probably only been waiting ten seconds or so. She was leaning against her front door. "What took you so long, slowpoke?" She joked.
They conversed some more as they went back inside. "You're still the best, Rainbow," he replied.
"You did pretty well, maybe one of these days I won't win by so much," Dash said.
Chrysalis P0n-3 knew Rainbow Dash wasn't so much of a lovey-dovey pony as some. They played some board games, of which he mostly let her win, partly because he knew she hated losing, and talked. It started to get late and Chrysalis P0n-3 knew Rainbow Dash was getting tired. She said she was going to go to bed, so they kissed each other goodnight, and he let himself out.

Chapter 3 - Lyra Heartstrings
"I keep forgetting to send that letter back home to Chryssie," Chrysalis P0n-3 thought, so he grabbed it as he walked out the door. On his way, he ran into Derpy Hooves. He knew she was the mail mare, so he asked her to send his letter and she said she would.
Lyra had agreed to meet Chrysalis P0n-3 just outside the Everfree Forest. She wanted to discuss anthropology with him and didn't want anypony around. This was also opportunistic for the changeling, but he kept that to himself.
"Hey thanks for coming," she said when he walked up. "Sorry for asking you to meet me at such a random place."
"Don't even mention it," came the reply.
"Right. So I think you know I study anthropology and I was going to ask you if you've seen or heard of any humans. I just know they exist, but haven't been able to prove it," said Lyra.
"As a changeling following Queen Chrysalis around, I've seen many places and various animals and creatures," he replied. "I've never seen a human, but Queen Chrysalis said she knows they exist. I never asked her about it."
At that, Lyra beamed. She didn't know what to expect from his answer, but he had renewed her hope.
"By the way," he continued, "I know you have that big gig coming up with Octavia and the rest. I ducked into the concert hall and caught part of the practice sessions. It sounded really good All of you were spot on." He could tell she was about to ask him how none of them noticed him. He chuckled. "I'm a changeling, remember? I blend in pretty well when I want to."
Lyra had some books with her about trying to discover and study humans and she wanted Chrysalis P0n-3 to go over those with her, so he did. They cuddled as they skimmed the books together. When it started to get late enough where they couldn't read the books anymore without using magic, they decided to call it a day. Chrysalis P0n-3 kissed the mare and they both went home for the night.
Author's Note
Shipping my oc with whatever characters I want within the same story is a dumb idea I had, and it's gotten me 4 thumbs up and 28 thumbs down so far, so I don't think proofreading is going to make any difference. So, I didn't have anyone proofread this chapter. And the rest of the story will probably go without any until completion. The premise of this story in and of itself is impossible to write something that is deemed good literature. Shipfics themselves are not easy to do well. Oh and someone gave me an awful good idea lol. Whoever it was that said they could see where this was going, helping Fluttershy with woodland critters, etc., I wasn't going to go there, but I am now. And this isn't a trollfic, per say. It's more of a defiant fic. I'm writing this story for fun because I want to, and while I listen to criticism (esp. the helpful variety) and will do my best to heed good advise, it's my story, darn it, and I want to write it, and am still inspired to do so.

Cheerilee looked up and saw an ever familiar changeling walk into her schoolhouse half an hour after the final bell rang, just as she requested. "How are you, Chrysalis P0n-3,?' she asked.
"Can't lie, I'm doing great today because I get to spend Hearts and Hooves day with you," he replied.
"I just have a few more papers to put away. Could you help me with that,?" she asked, and the changeling was helping in a timely fashion. The task only took a couple minutes and the mare indicated that they were good to go.
They walked out of the schoolhouse and Cheerilee locked up behind them. They happened to run into Twist on their way out. "What are you still doing here," Cheerilee asked her.
"I was just wondering if you know if I passed that test yet, Ms. Cheerilee," the filly replied. It was apparent that Twist knew what was going on between the two and she had a mischevious grin on her face.
"Not yet. I'll tell you ponies all how you did tomorrow, now run along home," Cheerilee replied in a firm but pleasant tone. With that, Twist was off.
Chrysalis P0n-3 and Cheerilee walked and walked and talked about school and how the changeling was fitting in with the ponies. He was on the looking for certain other ponies so he wouldn't get caught playing them.
"So where you taking me..." Cheerilee started to say just as they walked up to the local restaurant, which had been renamed Hearts & Hooves just for the occasion. She looked like she was going to faint.
They walked in and were seated. Caramel was their server and they ordered off the menu and talked some more. They also shared a bottle of the most expensive wine on the menu. After a great dinner, Chrysalis P0n-3 left a nice tip and paid the bill.
As they were leaving, the changeling informed Cheerilee that there was one more thing, but that she had to be blindfolded. She agreed, so he blindfolded her and took her hoof. He led her to the park and then removed the blindfold. He had a dozen roses and a box of chocolates there for her.
"Oh! This is great! Thank you Chrysalis P0n-3, this has been the best Hearts and Hooves day ever!"
With that, they kissed, and bid each other farewell.

Chapter 1 - Princess Luna
It was a stormy evening in Canterlot. Chrysalis P0n-3 knocked on the front door of the castle. He waited outside for what seemed like an eternity; thoughts racing through his head. 'Luna would be furious if she knew of my other loves'. By rights, even he had lost count.
She quietly made her way to the front door and opened it. "Shh, my sister is asleep, come in," she whispered to the changeling at the door.
"We certainly wouldn't want to wake Celestia. Maybe she'd banish both of us to the moon this time," he joked. He didn't verbalize his other reason for not wanting to wake the other princess, however. They talked very quietly as they made their way to one of the cozy living rooms in the Canterlot castle.
"You know that's not funny," she objected. "And besides, what are you doing out in that nasty weather? You'll catch a cold."
"Sorry, I'll be fine, though. You worry too much. I rarely get sick.," he replied.
As they made their way into their destination, Luna quietly closed the door behind them as Chrysalis P0n-3 made himself comfortable on the couch.
"I'm glad I get to see you again, though," Luna said as she sat next to the changeling. "I never thought I'd see a changeling in Canterlot again, let alone fall in love with one." She inched closer to him.
"I love you too," he replied as he kissed her affectionately. "I can never thank everypony enough for not only accepting me, but helping to reform me and using magic on me to help me."
"Follow me out to the balcony," she requested, so he followed her back through the castle and up some stairs until they made their way clear to the top of the castle on a balcony that overlooked Canterlot. It had stopped raining.
"The city is beautiful from up here," Chrysalis P0n-3 commented. "And it's a clear night. The moon, the stars..."
"Do you see Orion's Belt, just over there?," Luna asked the changeling as they sat on the balcony together and cuddled, looking up at the night sky."
"It's bright tonight," he responded. He then kissed her again.
They sat there stargazing quietly for several hours and got lost in how beautiful the night was while enjoying each other's company. After a while, the moon began to disappear and Chrysalis P0n-3 knew he had to get going.
"Luna my love, it's been so much fun", he said as he wrapped his wing around her and kissed her on the cheek.
"We let the time get away from us. It's just about my bedtime," she responded, as she hugged him back.
They made their way back through the castle quietly, as to not wake her sister and she saw him to the door. "Until next time. I love you," she said as she kissed him goodbye.
"I love you too," he responded. And with that, he was off.
