Dark clouds trapped Equestria and all her ponies in a turbulent, evil storm. Ponies in Cloudsdale, Canterlot, and

Ponyville ran about frantically, foals looking for their parents, unicorns and pegasus trying to tame the storm, the earth

ponies guiding others to shelter. Princess Celestia tried her hardest to vanquish the storm, but to no avail. The storm was a

mysterious magical storm, conjured by a mare who sat in a hospital with her newborn foal. The Mare had a dark grey coat

and a mane of swirling silver hair. She had red eyes, which were filled with tears as she looked upon her newborn filly, with

a green coat and mane, a unicorn with golden eyes. The Mare outstretched her wings and warmed her foal from the chilling

storm, light emitted from her horn, illuminating the dark hospital room. She was the same as the Princess, she could both fly

and perform magic, a rare occurrence in the pony world. A nervous looking nurse tediously crept toward the mysterious

mare...

"Ma'am... we must check your foal for medical reasons..." She said timidly.

The Mare looked at the nurse and smiled, " Her name is Matcha. For the colour of her mane... like a field of jade."

"O-oh... a beautiful name miss." The nurse said.

"Keep her safe... make sure she is healthy..." The mare said, lifting her filly Matcha toward the nurse.

The Nurse took her and placed her in a rolling crib, and carted her into the medical examination room. The Mare

sighed as tears streamed down her face, matting her fur. As she stood her cutie mark, a silver dagger, glittered as lightning

flashed before the window. She teleported outside, looking behind her to catch a last glimpse at her daughter. A black

tornado dropped down from the sky, and the Mare slowly stepped in. As the tornado returned to the sky, the storm

dissipated into the air. All began to calm, Equestria was once again restored to it's peaceful state. Little did anyone know, a

disaster worse than Nightmare Moon or anything before would soon awaken in a filly that no one would suspect.
