Chapter 2: Bruises

                          Fluttershy woke up to the smell of cinnamon apples. She looked around to see she was at applejacks house. She was about to get up when applejack walked in, ''Hey there sleepy head. bout' time you woke up.'' She said trying to sound happy but it came out like she just saw her orchard on fire. ''So um.. since your awake an' all, I wanted ta' ask, what happened to you last night? You were bleedin'!'' Applejack asked worriedly. Fluttershy instantly remembered the confession, the beating, the bleeding, and the retreat. She shivered from the thought. "I-I'd rather tell everyone together." Fluttershy said sadly while looking at her semi bloody snout.

                          Fluttershy sat under a stray tree not very far under rainbow dash's cloud home with her four friends rarity, applejack, twilight, and pinkie pie sitting around her waiting expectantly for her story. She told them about how rainbow dash had reacted when she confessed, and how rainbow dash punched her. ''She did WHAT?'' applejack yelled after fluttershy finished talking. ''how horrible! Why would rainbow dash do sutch a thing?'' rarity asked while giving fluttershy a sad look. ''Why dont we ask her ourselves?'' applejack hissed while glaring at rainbow's house above her. ''RAINBOW DASH! you get down here RIGHT now!'' Applejack yelled up towards the house. Rainbow dash peeked her head out and flew down with an angry expression, then leaned on the tree. ''What's she doing here?'' rainbow spat while glaring at fluttershy. Applejack couldn't take it anymore. she yelled, reared forward on her front legs and kicked out as hard as she could. She hit rainbow square in the stomach as an audible 'SNAP' was heard. a rib jutted out of rainbow's chest and she let out a painful cry as she fell over, gripping her chest as blood gushed out of the wound. ''RAINBOW DASH!'' fluttershy cried as she galloped over to her crush. rainbow was shaking convulsively and gasping for breath. Fluttershy rolled rainbow onto her back, and started galloping to the hospital.
