ShadowMere and his first ever friends
~Dear diary~
"This is a... really nice day here in Pony Ville. Always sun is shining... not always but... most of the time.  
I still haven't made any friends yet, because I don't seem to be so much talkative with them.  
I'm kinda.... scared of what they would say about me. Maybe they'ill run away from me... or just make me uncomfortable with other ponies. I don't want that."
I sighed after I finish writing in the diary. As I use my magic to put down the feather in the little cup, with many other feathers in it.... they have different colors and style. I look out of the window and I see the activity in the street, ponies playing, dancing or just sitting down and talking about their life... or how their day has gone so far in Pony Ville. My smile runs away as I have left with a sad smile on my face.
"Why... this is happening to me? Why I'm so... scared of other ponies.... I'm not shy... just scared. You know what. I'm going to go out there and make a change in my life. I'm going to make friends!"  
I told to myself quietly while I was watching the window.
As I opened my little house doors I walked out with a big smile on my face... feeling confident and being friendly to everyone I see. My house is just by the "Three House" where Twilight Sparkle is living, it has purple double doors and it's outside is colored in cyan and black stripes... . In the inside I had a small corridor which led to the living room, by the inside outdoors I had a small closet with all my clothes I wanted to wear in many different times, it wasn't in my bedroom because it seemed too big for my small bedroom and i did not like it in my bedroom as well, so I just put it by my outdoors. The living room was quite passionate, the room was split into two colors, white and red.. and over the red there were white stripes going in all directions making it look really random, but on the white side it had black stripes which were again going in all directions making it look very random. There were wooden stairs going up by the living rooms' door leading up to the bedroom. Bedroom was quite small with many different colors from blue to black from black to white and so on... on the middle of the bedroom there was a big bed, it could hold 2 persons in it. There was a small light above it.... didn't look as elegant as the living room did.
As I walked out of my house I could feel the fresh air going through my body... and the sun touching me with it's heat. The weather was really nice for a day like this. While walking I saw Twilight Sparkle and spike rushing to somewhere it seemed that she was in rush for something, I didn't speak to her just nodded to say "Hi".
The second pony I have never met before. She seemed to be fast in the sky.. and I didn't know that the sky is cleared by her, I thought it was just the weather. I thought to myself. "I should get out more.... seriously."
I walked up to her and took a long breath before talking to her.
"Hello... there." I spoke like I didn't know no one which.... I didn't.
The pony answered. "Hey there fella. You came to see my tricks as well?"
I seemed confused. "Sure...?"
"Okay then... take a seat or just stand if you want. And watch what I can do in the skies." That were her last words before she vanished in air and started doing barrel rolls and circles in the air. I was really interested in it... so I watched it all till the end.
After she was done with the tricks I came to the part I had to introduce myself to her.
"Wow.... nice trick up there..... what's your name?" I asked to the pony in front of me.
She looked confused. "You... don't know me?"
"Umm..... no sorry." I spoke quietly like I was scared what she would say next.
The pony looks up to me and said. "Oh.. that's okay. Don't be shy. I'm RanbowDash. What's your name little fella?"
I looked a little bit confident. "My.... name is ShadowMere, nice to meet you... RainbowDash."
The smile on her face made me look more confident and more happy so I smiled back at her.
As she looked at me she thought about something. "Hmmm... want to meet... my friends?"  
She asked friendly. This was a BIG step for me... finally to make new friends and maybe to be more confident around other ponies as well. So I answered. "Sure thing."
As RainbowDash led the way her friends I asked something that would be useful if I make friends.
"Um... which are you "Friends" you are about to show me? Sorry if that made you uncomfortable."
She answered in a nice way. "That's okay, ShadowMere. It is good to know who are these friends for you... because you seem a little bit.... umm how do I say... not social? I think... that should work.. okay."
She turned around and stopped. "Okay these friends' names are... AppleJack, Twilight Sparkle, FlutterShy, PinkiePie, Rarity and Me." She smiled at me and continued to lead the way to her friends.
After about 2 minutes we were at the spot. I saw only 5 ponies there, I saw Twilight Sparkle, AppleJack, FlutterShy, PinkiePie and RainbowDash.
As I and RainbowDash walked up to the one of the ponies it was shocked and ran away from the meeting spot. I asked. "Umm... did I do something wrong here?"
One of the ponies answered. "Haha.... she is making you a welcome party, I guess you new here?"
The pony who answered my question had a horn and a star cutie mark, she had purple skin and had purple,pink and dark purple colors in her mane.
After short time I answered. "No... I'm living here for a quite long time already... just have no social life around here... because I was scared what other ponies would tell about me and my look. I'm guessing you are Twlight Sparkle?" I pointed at the purple pony.
She answered. "Yes... how did you know if you have no social life around Pony Ville?"
I answer shortly after the question what Twlight Sparkle asked me.
"I live by your tree house... on the left side of it" I answered.
"Oh the black and cyan house?" She was looking curious
I said, "Yes."
RainbowDash seemed bored so she cut into our conversation between me and Twilight Sparkle.
"Enough with chit chat. Introduce yourselves guys."
One of the ponies stepped up and made an introduction.
"My name is AppleJack. I make apple treats for everypony in this Ville. We have every kind of apple treats you have in Equestria, and sure many ponies love them. Our apple farm is big and it takes a lot of the work to harvest it until the time runs out."
Another pony, stand up and began the introduction.
"My name is FlutterShy." That's all she said, but really quietly.
Twilight Sparkled explained why is she so quite. "Don't worry... she is shy. Her name is FlutterShy, what's yours?"
"I'm ShadowMere, nice to meet you all, I'm still learning magic, but progressing really fast, after I said that I remember that RainbowDash told me there was another pony, "Between RainbowDash said there is a pony named Rarity here?"
Twilight spoke again. "Oh her. She is in Canterlot right now... she said, she has a meeting down there... I don't know what kind of a meeting she is talking about... but she is there... ."
After talking and hanging out with the ponies which I have met in this day it was late so everyone went in their little houses to sleep."It seems it's getting late." I spoke confidently around the ponies.
"It is...", AppleJack yawned, "Well goodnight everypony. I'm off to bed." as she walked away, Twilight and other ponies went to their houses as well. I said goodbye to the and went to bed too.
~Dear Diary~
"I have finally made my first friends in Pony Ville .... and it wasn't so bad... it was easy to be honest, just be you and be confident. Don't think bad things that can happen while making friends. You can overcome your fears if you face them with your own eyes. Everything can be possible to do."
Before going to sleep I picked my diary with my magic same as the quill from the little cup... I started to write as I spoke.
As I finished writing I put everything in the place turned the small light in my room and went to bed, waiting for the new day... with different adventures.

How ShadowMere became a Royal Guard
As the next day came I felt energy inside myself as if I could do anything. I felt so happy and positive, but after few moments I remembered something, that I forgot to do yesterday... PinkiPie's party. I felt so worried what she is going to say. Well she wasn't in my house to surprise me... weird, Twilight told me she had been surprised in her house. So first I got dressed in my casual clothes and went down to kitchen to get my breakfast, as I walked down the stairs I heard giggling in my living room. I was confused, didn't know why did it came from there, I looked at the kitchen window and thought it was opened, but no.. it was closed.
I thought to investigate, as I approached the living room I was surprised with PinkiePie's party. I was shocked so I asked... "Why are you holding your party up in my house in morning?", PinkiePie seemed to happy and said... "Because you new dummy!", she jumped around and started to ask many... MANY questions. "Were you exited? I was exited, were you, were you, were you?!", she kept talking like that but a lot faster and happier. I answered... "Yes! I was!".
PinkiePie started to jump around from the happiness that I was exited from the surprise from her. As the PinkiePie's party was going I heard a knock on my door, as I opened it I saw AppleJack. She said... "ShadowMere. I see you have a party here with PinkiePie, but we need your help.",
I looked confused and said... "With...?",
AppleJack answered straight away... "It's Twilight she is in trouble and needs your help!".
I didn't hesitate to ask more questions or speak I just said... "PinkiePie sorry, but I have to go!". I didn't hear what she replied, me and AppleJack galloped away where AppleJack leaded me.
About 3 minutes later we arrived in the Everfree forest. AppleJack said... "We are near!"
As we arrived I saw FlutterShy and RainbowDash trying to help Twilight Sparkle from being destroyed by Trixie. AppleJack said... "Please, help. Trixie has never been this strong before. She doesn't have the amulet... so I don't know what going on! Help... please.", I nodded to AppleJack and galloped away to assist.
As I got closer I saw Trixie in this weird dark purple glow around her, her eyes had no color.. they were blank. I knew there was something wrong here. As I started think of any magic tricks and spells that would stop Trixie from taking away Twilight magic powers, I knew there was one think to do. I closed my eyes.... looked down slowly to the ground, I focused my thought to Trixie, I acknowledge her, and what she was doing. My concentration became deeper and deeper, I started to remember all kinds of spells, but there was one spell that I haven't tried yet, and this might have been my last chance to prove what I am. As I focused my mind on that spell my horn started to glow in dark blue color, after a short time my horn created a laser which would be long enough to contact Trixie's horn. As the laser touched Trixie's horn I could see something really, really evil controlling Trixie's body, I didn't see who is controlling her, but it was something powerful, so I started to use the spells' full power, after the spell worked that a dark purple cloud vanished in air like dust.
Trixie fell on the ground in pain, while while was strong enough to pick herself up from the ground and stand up a bit. Twilight asked... "What, just happened... I feel weaker than I was before...", after that RainbowDash explained it all... "Trixie drained your power so she would get more powerful... but she couldn't do that even with her magic skills OR the amulet... she didn't have the amulet on her, but I saw the dark purple glow around her... weird."
As I opened my eyes I saw Twilight, RainbowDash, AppleJack and FlutterShy together. I said... "It seems my job is done here...".
As I spoke all four ponies turned and looked at me, Twilight spoke first... "Thank you ShadowMere... you saved my life. Thank you, again.".
After she stopped speaking RainbowDash, FlutterShy and AppleJack helped Twilight to get to the hospital where she could recover from the damage. Trixie remained laying on the ground.
"She will wake up soon... it was a temporally hit. Don't worry about her.", I said while walking away to the hospital with the four ponies.
After some days Twilight was fully recovered, she could use her magic again.
I prepared to go and buy some apple pies and food, because I was low on it. So as I walked out I met Twilight Sparkle and Princess Celestia, as I saw princes I "bowed" down to show respect. Princess Celestia said... "Don't need to do that - ShadowMere.".
I looked confused and stood up again. Twilight looked at the Princess Celestia and said... "Princess, this is the pony which saved from my death. I am grateful to him for rest of my life. Is there anything you could give... like a reward?".
Princess Celestia looked at Twilight and said... "Twilight... reward won't be enough. You could have died. That is not worth a reward, it is worth more than a reward," after some thinking Princess Celestia spoke again, "I have an idea. It seems we have a space left in Royal Guards, led by Twilight's brother Shining Armour. If you agree you are welcome to join the Royal Guards... oh... almost forgot here.", as Princess Celestia uses her magic to levitate the ticket of some sort of ceremony, I could read what was on it... it said... "Ticked for the Gala, in Canterlot". Princess Celestia spoke again..."So... here is your ticket for Gala, and have you made your mind up to join royal guards yet?", as she asked the question I answered straight after that... "Yes, I would like to join the Royal Guards.".
Princess Celestia seemed happy... "Excellent! I will get that arranged. See you at the gala Twilight and ShadowMere.".
As soon as Princess Celestia walked away Twilight said... "Wow... you will be a Royal Guard. I am proud of you... and thanks again about the... you know."
I nodded... "No problem Twilight. That's what friends do right?", I smiled.
"Yes, they do." Twilight smiled back and walked away to her Tree House.

ShadowMere's first love in The Gala
"One more day till Gala! Can't wait!, I thought in my head as I was preparing what I would wear to Gala.
As I prepared my clothes and my speech for Royal Guards just in case if there is a special test I got a knock on my door.
I walked down the stairs and opened my door, I saw Shining Armor and his carriage behind him.
"So, are you ShadowMere?", he talked in friendly kinda way.
"Umm, yes I'm.", I answered confidently.
He looked at me as he never seen me before, "Are you new...? I ask, because barely anyone knows you in Canterlot or Pony Ville. Unless... PinkiePie made a welcome party and I didn't know about it."
"Well you got the right answer about the party and the reason nobody know me in Canterlot is because.. I never spoke to no-pony.", I answered.
"Oh. Well.. never mind, so Princess Celestia said that you rescued my sister Twilight Sparkle? Is that true?", he asked me as he would think Princess was lying.
"Yes, I did save you sister.", I answered slowly and calm.
"Okay... I believe you. Thank you, ShadowMere. If you wouldn't be there... my sis' you know... could have died.", he said in sadness on his face.
"Don't worry about her. She is fine.", I answered so I could calm him down and cheer him up a little bit.
"Mhm. Let's go then.", he answered.
As Shining Armor stopped speaking me and him walked to the carriage, where two pegasus ponies would lift us up in the sky like a hot air balloon and fly us away to Canterlot.
About 4 minutes later we arrived at Canterlots' borders, as we arrived the two guards nodded to each other and we were let through into the Canterlot. Canterlot seemed pretty big place for me, never have been in Canterlot in my life, so I was amazed by every structure I saw. The ponies seemed much more posh in Canterlot then Pony Ville.
So I asked, "Are these ponies 'High Quality'... I mean like posh talking or?"
"Yes, they will inspect you.", he said to scare me a little bit.
"Are you serious?", as I said that I hid from the ponies which were looking at me and quietly speaking about me in thei own little conversations.
"No... I was joking you silly! They do this to... umm.. I really have no idea why. Maybe because they don't know you.", he tried to explain to calm me down a little bit.
I gulped, "Okay."
As we arrived by the palace me and Shining Armor went to Princess Celestia's throne. As we arrived she walked up to us with her sister, Princess Luna.
Princess Celestia spoke first, "Ah. ShadowMere nice to see you here in, Canterlot."
"Nice to see you too, Princess.", I answered back.
Princess Luna asked her sister, "Who is this pony standing next to Shining Armor?"
"That's ShadowMere, he rescued Twilight.", Princess Celestia explained to her sister.
"Hello, ShadowMere. My name is Princess Luna.", Princess Luna gave no facial expression.
I answered, "Hello, Princess Luna. I'm ShadowMere."
I looked at Shining Armor and said, "So.. why did we came here in the first place, again?"
"Princess Luna wanted something from you.", he explained.
Princess Luna looked at me and said, "I want you to be my personal guard in the Gala. I believe you can handle the job?"
"Sure, Princess.", I answered back.
"It's settled then. Meet you at the Gala all.", Princess Celestia said as we walked out of the palace.
"Well that was a little bit awkward wasn't it?", I looked at Shining Armor
"No, it was not for me.", he looked confused.
After some time we arrived at the guard house, where all the guard meetings, weapons, armour, clothes are held. Shining Armor looked at me and said,"ShadowMere, if you are up to being a Royal Guard, sign this paper."
I used my magic to pick the pen up from the table which was left side of me as I levitated it, I started to type my signature, 'ShadowMere'.
Shining Armor looked at the paper and said, "Welcome to the Royal Guards, ShadowMere. Good Luck and see you at the Gala. Dissmissed."
I looked confused, "That's all? I thought there would be tests and stuff, well I guess not. So I start my duty tomorrow?
"Yes, you will meet Princess Luna at her carriage, by the Galas' entrance.", Shining Armor explained.
I nodded to show that I understood what he said to me.
The next day the Gala was on. I was prepared with my clothes, armor and all what I need for the Gala evening.  
As I stepped out of my house I didn't see any of my main six friends, I didn't see Twilight Sparkle nor FlutteryShy, AppleJack, RainbowDash, PinkiePie or Rarity.
I seemed confused and thinking, "Where have they gone?"
As I thought I would like to meet up with them, I just walked back to my house to prepare and wait for the Gala.  
The time was on to go to Gala. As I stepped out I saw Princess Luna's carriage waiting by my door step.
I asked her, "I thought you are going to wait me by the entrance, Princess"
She looked at me, "By the time you would be there, the Gala would be ended already."
"Oh.", I said without giving any facial expression.
I stepped into the carriage and the carriage was levitated by two of Luna's pegasus.
As we arrived at the gala I saw another carriage behind us I didn't quite spot any ponies on it, but I saw two pegasus leading it to the Gala as well.
"Hmm.... I wonder...", I said by myself.
Princess Luna looked at me, "Wonder what?"
"The other carriage behind us, maybe it holds my friends in it and they're going to the Gala as well., I explained
"Maybe, maybe.", Princess Luna said while looking away from the other carriage behind us.
I stepped out of the carriage while opening small carriage doors for Princess Luna, "Thank you, ShadowMere.", Princess Luna said to me while stepping out of the carriage.
"Okay, ShadowMere. I want you to take a look around. I will be my sister if you need me, or if I call you.", Princess Luna explained while going to Princess Celestia.
I walked around the Gala, I saw the carriage which was right behind us, I noticed a pegasus, green color body, orange and yellow mane and the tail, had a suit and that was the pagasus I saw of the carriage which was going behind us. Before I could even move anywhere Princess Luna stopped me and said, "Before you go. Meet Shining Armor for your clothes and armor."
"Okay.", I nodded as I was walking towards Shining Armor.
"Oh, good. ShadowMere you are here. Take this.", as he was speaking he gave me a armor which didn't seem to be the same as the other guards. The guards I saw had black, white or gray mane.
I looked confused and said, "Why I'm the only one different?"
"Because, you saved my sister. You can't just be a normal guard if you do that kind of job.", he explained
I nodded without speaking. I put my armor on and looked at the mirror to see if it fits me. I had gold armor with bright yellow leather and white cape on my back.
As I walked out of the building which Gala was held in to get a fresh air, I saw the pegasus going into the maze.
He said something by himself, but I didn't hear what he said. So I just spoke to warn him that the maze is easy place to get lost, "Hey! I wouldn't go in there if I were you.", I saw him turning around so I spoke again to finish what I was saying, "It's very easy to get lost in there. Trust me"
"Unless you have wings.",the pony said while pointing at his wings.
"Good point.", I said to the pony.
The pony seemed curious, "What... kind of a guard are you?"
"I can't tell you.... that.", I said
"So you are a normal guard?", he looked more curious
"No. I'm Princess Luna's personal guard...", as I realized what I said I face-hoofed myself.
He looked at me differently this time in a friendly kinda way, "So.. umm what's you name?"
"My name is ShadowMere.", I answered
"Never seen you before.", he looked at me while inspecting me
"Yes, I know, hardly anyone knows me here anyway.", I explained to the pony
He stopped inspecting me, "Oh. Anyway, why did you came to me again?"
"Well first. To stop you going through that maze and secondly I saw you behind our carriage, did by any chance you lead the six ponies?", I explained to the pony while he was looking at me
"Yes, I did and by the meaning of 'six ponies' you mean... AppleJack, Rarity, Twilight Sparkle, RainbowDash, PinkiePie and FlutterShy?", he asked
I looked at him, "Yes, and do you know where is Rarity right now? Never met her before."
"Oh, she told me she is going to see her Prince Blue Blood, oh look", he pointed at the white pony, " there she is!
Rarity seemed un-happy and angry at the same time.
"I have to go... sorry.", I said as I galloped towards the white pony.
I saw Rarity and Prince Blue Blood together, I suddenly felt hate in Prince Blue Blood as I saw he used Rarity for many things, but as I saw Rarity putting down her blanket on the wet puddle I shouted, "Don't do it Rarity!"
Rarity suddenly stopped and looked at me as I was galloping towards her, "Take the blanket away from the puddle."
I arrived by Rarity and Prince Blue Blood in couple of seconds and using my magic I lifted up the blanket which was about to drop in the puddle, "You should be ashamed of yourself, Prince Blue Blood. How dare you to use this lady for yourself?"
Prince Blue Blood looked at me and said, "Hmph. What you are going to do with me anyway? I'm a Prince. So... just go."
I suddenly felt angry, "No."
As I stopped speaking I forced the Prince Blue Blood's blanket from his back and dropped it in the puddle, "Rarity, come."
Rarity stepped over and didn't say anything, as Prince Blue Blood tried to step over I levitated the blanket and put the blanket on where it was, on Prince Blue Blood's back, "You shall not pass!", as I spoke those words I giggle a little bit and walked away with Rarity.
Rarity looked upon me, "Thank you, darling."
As I looked upon Rarity I suddenly felt warm, I fell in love with this beautiful pony called Rarity, "It's okay...", as I spoke I blushed a little bit.
"What is your name?", she asked
I answered the question, "ShadowMere."
"Thank you ShadowMere, Prince Blue Blood was using me for the most foolish things ever, opening doors for him, I needed to give him a rose, putting my own blanket in the puddle to let Prince Blue Blood pass, but you were there to save me from that nonsense." , as she spoke I saw her cheecks to beging blush a little bit too, I didn't know was it from me or was she shy.
"That's okay Rarirty, for beautiful pony like you, I would do anything just to save you.", I said
She began to blush even more, "Thank you."
As she leaned towards my face she kissed my cheek, "See you some other time...", she blushed and galloped away to her friends.
I was standing there wordless, I couldn't say anything, I just stood there and was thinking about Rarity.
After couple of minutes I walked inside the Gala, because Princess Luna was calling me. I galloped towards her, "Yes, Princess?"
"The Gala is over ShadowMere. We have to go.", she said.
I nodded as we walked to the carriage. I opened the small doors for Princess Luna and we began our journey to Canterlot.
"Did you enjoy Gala, ShadowMere?", she looked at me while asking
"Mhm....", I said.
She looked at me, "Is there something wrong?"
"No.. not at all.", I answered.
"What happened in Gala, tell me..", she looked curious.
I looked at her, "I fell in love, Princess."
"Oh.. with?", she asked curiously
"The white pony called Rarity, she is the most beautiful pony I have ever seen in my life.", I explained
She looked happy, "Good luck."
We arrived at Canterlot in couple of minutes, as I opened the small doors for the Princess, she began to speak to the pegasus in front, "Please, can you be grateful and take this pony to Pony Vile?"
The two pegasi nodded and waiting till I enter the carriage, as I entered the carriage I waved at Princess Luna and began to be taken to Pony Ville. I arrived at Pony Ville in couple of minutes and was let out right by my house doors. As I entered my house, I put my armor down and began walking steps to my bedroom, after that I used my magic to open my diary, and take a feather from my small pot with ink and began to write,
~Dear Diary
Today, I met the most beautiful pony in the whole world called Rarity. She has white body dark blue many and makes beutiful dresses as I have seen what she was wearing today in Gala, and what other ponies said about her. I have been recruiting in the Royal Guards and saved Twilight from dying when Trixie was controlled by this 'Purple Smoke', I will investigate further what it was, but for now.... let's just let the life go as it is.
I put down my feather in the small pot which was on the table same as the diary, I closed the diary as well, and jumped into my bed and fell asleep while thinking about Rarity.

Twists and Turns - The Chaos
As I woke up from the best day of my life in the Gala I felt more active and happier than before, confident with everything I saw, the day was nice, sun was shining many ponies doing their own things in Ponyville, it was a casual day.
But then, I saw Twilight, Rarity, AppleJack, PinkiePie, FlutterShy, they were running towards something so as I was curious what was going on... I followed them, to find out what are they rushing so much for.
As I started to catch up with them... I saw something really strange, I saw pink cotton candy in the sky and... it gave out from my point of view it was chocolate, I couldn't believe it, so I asked Twilight to be sure, "Umm.... Twilight," I was galloping by her side, "what... is that in front of us??".
She answered me,"It's 'Chocolate rain', it's a really rare thing if you ask me..."
~Meanwhile in Canterlot~
There is always a group of guards looking around the castle for spies/intruders, after some moment of time the guards were regrouped together and ordered by Celestia to look around the Canterlot are from the magical disturbance by which Celestia thought was 'Discords' fault.
"From the guards I have seen, we are missing one sister." , Princess Luna said
Princess Celestia answered, "I know where he is, don't worry. He is safe."
One of the many guards by the castle went to have a little break by the statues, to just see if there is anything new built, he didn't saw anything new, but strange. He saw that one of the statues were... gone, he could just see stone debris from the statue on the ground near it. The guard went to examine what was the statue for or what was it's name. As the guard went closer and examined the statue, he fell in shock and galloped to Princess Celestia.
I looked confused I've never seen this 'Chocolate Rain', it was a strange thing, but I trusted Twilight and kept following the 5 ponies, when we arrived at the spot, I heard so weird sounds which sounded like tree bring pulled from the ground, as I turned around I saw something worse, those were houses which were pulled from the ground. I fell in shock and informed Twilight.
"Twilight...?", I asked her
Twilight turned around me and answered, "Yes, Shado-"
As she was about to say my name she noticed the house being flipped and floating from the ground too, she did not hesitate to speak.
"We need to inform Princess Celestia. Now."
We galloped to the nearest train station to inform Princess Celestia.
As we got by the train station, I got stopped by something. I saw Princess Luna behind me and she said, "Twilight, Rarity, AppleJack, Rainbow Dash, FlutterShy and PinkiePie, go. ShadowMere will be fine."
I got asked to step into Luna's carriage and we began to fly to Canterlot castle. I got confused and asked Princess Luna, "Why... did you just do that again Princess?"
She didn't hesitate to answer, "Princess Celestia wants to see you."
It took us about 20 minutes to get to the castle, as we entered the castle I was meeted by Princess Celestia, "ShadowMere. I need you to assist the other guards scouting the area around the castle."
"... Mhm.", I nodded and began to scout around the castle.
It was 15 minutes gone already and I couldn't see anything that would be dangerous or a threat to anyone, but I heard noises that sounded like somebody being tortured, I didn't know what and where those sounds came from, but it sounded serious, after about 20 minutes later it was... silence. Couldn't hear anyone speak, it was just wind... and me... nothing else.
The silence was broke down by Celestia's voice calling all the guards in because of 'danger' being near, I didn't get by what she meant 'danger' but I believed her and started to head in the castle.
As I arrived by the castle, I just saw myself and another guard. The guard standing right next to me, was really tired, his skin was kinda grey, he didn't speak, he looked like about to die of tiredness, then all of sudden.. he fell on the ground and was sent to hospital as soon as possible. Celestia looked kinda scared from my point of view.
"By any chance... do you know where the other guards are?", she asked me.
I answered with a little bit of sadness in my voice, "No, Princess."
So it was true, the 'torture' noises where the guards being slayed by someone unknown, didn't know who. They might didn't die, they might just have passed out.
After 5 minutes or so I heard galloping by the front of the castle, I was standing next to Princess Celestia and waited, I thought she knew who was coming through those doors. After the doors opened I saw Twilight, Rarity, AppleJack, PinkiePie, FlutterShy, RainbowDash and the pony I saw trying to enter the maze when the Gala was on.
"My friends! It's good to see you!", I spoke happily like nothing happened before.
Twilight stepped forward, "Can you explain what is going on Shadowmere?"
"Princess Celestia never said, I was part of the guards that were checking what the problem was," as I spoke I remember what could have happened to the other guards so I stopped and spoke again, "please, let's not waste time here speaking."
"Let's hope that Celestia can explain to us all.", Twilight said while we were heading towards Celestia.
As we met Princess Celestia, she began to speak in really serious tone, "It's good to see your all okay. Today... is a dangerous day for all of us, for Equestria. It must be stopped by using the.. Element of Harmony."
Twilight seemed surprised, "The Elements of Harmony? Princess, is it THAT bad?"
"No time to lose Twilight, I will explain later. Good luck.", Princess spoke as she used a special magic to unlock the doors which were protected by her only spell, as the doors opened Princess Celestia levitated a box covered in rubies, different colors, Rarity seemed to adore the box.
As Princess Celestia opened the box, she saw something was wrong. The Elements... were... gone. Everybody was in shock, "How... the door is locked by the spell I only can acces to!"
"Well, well, well... it seemed that 'Elements of Harmony' are gone... well done Celestia. So... let's see who we got here. The 'Elements of Harmony', a brave soldier and an Anomaly... this is going to be so fun!"
Celestia spoke in disgust, "Discord... I knew it."
"Hello, Celestia.... when was the last time we met? Let's just say... 'long time ago'. If you wondering where your elements are... I will give you a clue.", the voice came from the windows of the castle.
Discord began to say his 'clue', "Twists and turns, are my master plan. Then find the elements back where you began."
"Hmm... 'Twists and turns , are my master plan. Then find the elements back where you began.' what could that mean...?", Twilight spoke by herself.
"I know! We are heading to the maze! I think... that's where the Elements are.", she spoke as we headed to the maze.
I looked to the pony which I saw at the Gala because he poked me, he began to speak as I turned around, "Sorry, I never gave you my name... so rude of me... umm my name is Allan. Nice to meet you, ShadowMere."
I gave him a confused look, "Allan? That is umm.... a strange name for a pony like you, but okay, nice to meet you too."
"So what happened when you where umm... guarding the castle?"
I remembered the noises I heard and began to feel... kind of upset, but I didn't show it with my facial expression, "Let's... just umm... say that I was the only of two survivors..."
The pony saw that I was a bit upset so he didn't ask me anything else just said, "Oh. Okay..."
I remembered the time Trixie was controlled by the 'purple dust' so I thought why not ask 'Allan', "My turn now. Umm... is there by any chance you know anything abo-", I was interrupted by Twilight as she ordered us to head to the maze.
"WAIT!" as I spoke I turned to Princess Celestia
"Princess. May I have permission to assist the Elements of Harmony with their quest?"
Celestia had a confident look on her face "Permission granted ShadowMere, don't let me down." I nodded and galloped towards the ponies.
We all started to heading to the maze.
As we arrived by the maze RainbowDash began to fly up and said confidently, "Pfft. This going to be easy."
Then from nowhere RainbowDash's wings poofed in the air like dust, the wings were gone. Everybody was shocked that their main powers were gone, my horn was gone too, same as Rarity's and Twilight's.
"How do you like yourself without your powers... my friends?", a large snake-like creature appeared from nowhere.
"Why you do this to us... Discord.", I stepped up and spoke to 'Discord'
He looked at me with a smile of his face, "Because I like.... chaos, and umm the rules of the gaaame."
"What game? It's bound to be interesting., one of the ponies spoke
Discord turned to Allan and spoke, "See that's what I like, enthusiasm.", after saying that he turned back to us, "The game is simple if you can find the Elements in the maze, you win and I'll go back to being stone."
"But.. umm", Twilight stepped forwards and was about to speak as she go interrupted by Discord
Discord turned to Twilight and didn't hesitate to explain why he took away our wings and horns, "But you can't use wings, or magic. If you did it would count as cheating and then you would lose, and I win."
Allan stepped forward and spoke, "Then lets get started shall we?"
Twilight nodded, but I didn't quite like his 'joking' tone, "Alright, everypony. We are going to do this..."
We all came up in a circle and shouted, "TOGETHER!"
After saying that, there were vibrations below us... it seemed the ground was shaking, suddenly hedge walls built magically between each of us, we couldn't see each other.
After about 20 minutes I kept searching the area for elements, I thought I would take a little break and look around to examine the area, I heard voices around the maze shouting, "Help, ShadowMere. HELP!", the voice sounded like Rarity's voice, then I remember the incident when me and the other guards were patrolling, I feared that Rarity was in danger, I ran around to see anything that could help me to get to her, but there was no exit nor a clue where should I go. I felt hopeless, I let Rarity be left with pain... there was nothing I could do... so I thought to myself, "What if this is one of 'Discords' tricks just to confuse us...? What if Rarity is actually in danger? What could it be....", I kept thinking that this could be one of the 'Discords' trick, after some short period of time, the voices were gone.
"Very well, ShadowMere.", Discord thought by himself.
As I got my own control, I saw Twilight running towards me, "ShadowMere.. are you okay?"
"Yes, I'm fine.. hows' others?", I asked
"Haven't seen them yet. Hope I do., she looked worried.
After 5 minutes walking around, looking for other ponies me and Twilight found Allan walking around depressed from what I saw, "Allan! Oh thank Celestia, it's good to see you!"
"I think he is not too well, Twilight.", I spoke to Twilight.
"I'm fine, ShadowMere. I just... don't want to speak.... now.", Allan answered to us.
AppleJack came up too, "He seems perfectly fine to me!"
"AppleJack! You are here too!", Twilight seemed happy to see AppleJack and Allan.
I thought by myself, "There is something wrong here... something really bad. They seem... grey to me, how Twilight can't notice."
"Let's find the others!", Twilight led us
Allan spoke in depressed voice, "Yeah... let's go."
About 3 minutes in searching we found, Rarity, PinkiePie and FlutterShy arguing.
"FlutterShy! Pinkie! Rarity!", Twilight shouted
Twilight looked confused and asked, "Why do you have a big rock on your back Rarity?"
"It's MINE! Don't steal it, or you will have to deal with me! Got it?!", Rarity answered in greedy and angry tone at the same time.
I got worried about Rarity being like this. Twilight looked up in the air as we saw RainbowDash flying off to cloudsdale, "Wow... really RainbowDash.. why?"
"Don't be surprised, friends always leave you behind in the end.", Allan said in a depressed tone.
The maze poofed into the air and became one pit of dirt, short time after that Discord appeared from nowhere.
"Well, well, well it seems you lost! Looks like the Element of Loyalty isn't very loyal after all.", he said while having a smile on his face, "Looks like I win, and Equestria will be plunged into chaos, FOREVER! I;m going to enjoy this!"
Twilight looked at the ground in sadness, "How... could this happen... how."
I heard Allan saying something by himself, "The first rule of chaos... there are no rules., he sighed, "That's how we let this happen."

The 'After' Party with Discord (Part Two)
"Hmm... Why is this happening to us.. my friends are acting really strange for sure." I thought to myself while we were walking to PonyVille after the incident in the maze, I always looked up to Rarity, to see how she was doing with that big rock on her back, didn't want to go close to her.. because she seemed little bit strange and 'greedy' like, Twilight always were just talking about 'Elements of Harmony'. I knew that if Twilight doesn't have the all elements, Loyalty, Generosity, Honesty, Laughter, Magic, Kindness she had no possible chance of beating Discord and making him back to stone again. I looked around to see how is everybody doing, until I saw Alan being sad, as I was about to speak he interrupted me, "What are you looking at?" he spoke coldly.
I knew there was something wrong here, so I turned around to not cause any more problems as it is for now. After about 2 minutes later we arrived at PonyVille, "Allan, get a head start on finding the Elements."
"Whats the point? We've already lost." he said
I looked at him, "Allan..."I sighed, "do not let Discord control your feelings... I know this might not be true... or I was just dreaming but I think he might do that to you and every pony else just to cause chaos and not go back to stone."
"Pfft. Nice story pal." he gave me an angry look.
I knew I should have spoken to him, so I turned around and stopped speaking or making any eye contact with him, for now.
As we arrived at the Twilight's library I saw Allan and Spike trying to find the 'Element of Harmony'. As Twilight came in it seemed that Spike already had found them, they were in a book, with it's pages cut so the elements would actually fit in.
Twilight looked at Allan, "Since we don't have Rainbow Dash at our side, you will be the new 'Loyalty' element! Let's go!"
I seemed confused, "Why would she pick Allan, why wouldn't we get Rainbow Dash in first place anyway?" I had so much questions questions in my head, they got me so confused that it confused me completely. So I just followed Twilight and the others, Rarity seemed still the same as she did, greedy and not so white and beautiful anymore, I knew it was Discords fault, that why he tried to do that on me, but I broke through it, and was not affected by it.
We galloped to Discord. As we arrived to Discord he gave an amused look, "So... Twilight , I see you have found the Elements. Well Done."
"Ready, girls... and Allan! Hold on tight! Discord you are going back to stone!", Twilight looked at Discord with disgust and anger.
Discord gave a grin to Twilight, "We will se about that."
He seemed to know something, he knew that they were still not cured from his spell... I didn't know how to stop it...  
As Twilight casted the spell, I saw Allan, Twilight, Rarity, AppleJack, FlutterShy, PinkiePie lifting up from the ground, and in matter of seconds everything went bright white, I couldn't see anything. Just after the Twilight spell was casted, it didn't affect Discord completely he was just sitting there and smiling at Twilight, "So... what happened, Twilight?", he gave his 'evil' laugh.
"The spell... it didn't work." Twilight looked down as all the ponies where baking up and going away from each other, I saw Twilight's colour change slightly too, and she acted strangely as well.
"So... PonyVille is mine! The chaos shall rise AGAIN!" Discord smiled and laughed as he was speaking, he seemed to enjoy this.
After everybody was gone I saw Allan going to his house, I thought I would follow him and see what is up with him.  
As I followed him I saw him enter his house, I didn't follow him that far. But something strange happened after that, I saw him coming back from his house in the next morning, he seemed grumpy and 'bossy' from all of sudden. I didn't know what happened to him.
I walked up to him and said, "What you think you are doing?!"
"Just.. making a discipline in PonyVille. making sure these ponies respect me!" he gave me an angry look
"These ponies did not do anything to you. Do you hear me. NOTHING!" I spoke with anger
He looked at me, "I see. So.. now you are angry at me. So I can argue with you! Such fun!"
"Huh?!" I seemed confused
"I hope you would have died in that guard patrol."
"What?! Watch your mouth. I said angrily
He gave a grin, "Those... 'screams' or 'voices' you heard... they were not Discord's fault. The 'Void Shards' are the ones who killed the guards, the shards stuck in their bodies paralyzed them till death... yes... slowly and painfully they died one... by... one.
"No!" I was shocked and sad at the same time
"Oh... yes... I could easily just do that right now with you... but I think I have ran out of the shards it seems... sorry." he spoke threatenly
"So... if you just not tell anything about this meeting to Celestia or Allan I might not just kill you, or behold to be doomed for ever.
I stood up for myself, "So you think your so tough all of a sudden?" I spoke up to myself
It seemed that he forgot what he was talking about and brought up the guard patrolling accident, "THOSE PONIES DIED BRAVELY!" he shouted at me
I looked up to him, "After what you just said you expect me to help you?"
"Yes." Allan answered simply and quickly
"You're treading on dangerously thin ice here Allan." I tried to threaten him
He gave me a grin, "I like dangerous things! So I want something from you, Shadow. Follow me.
"Hmm. Should I trust you or not. I looked confused as I spoke
Allan gave me one of his 'evil' smiles, "Well... why don't follow me and find out?"
I started following Allan, without saying 'Yes' or 'No', after some time of walking I asked Allan a question just of the curiosity I had in my mind, "What exactly are you looking for, Allan."
After Allan could even give me the thing he was looking from me he collapsed to the ground.
After short time I saw Allan coming back again, he seemed rather confused, "What was that?"
"What was what, Allan? You just 'passed' out it seems after you picked up that crystal shard." I seemed confused and explained him in case he didn't remember
Allan seemed confused and nervous after I told him about the crystal shard which he picked up and he jumped back for now reason.
"What's wrong with you? First you lose hope, then you insult me, then you bring me out here and now you're acting all weird again. I. DEMAND. ANSWERS, Allan!"
"WELL I DON'T HAVE THEM!" Allan seemed in rage
After some time of silence between our conversations, Allan decided to ask me something while I was examining the place where I was at, "What's with the shard?"
I looked at Allan, "You just bring me here, and you just 'passed' out casually, why are you so WEIRD! Tell me. Please?
Allan passes out again for no reason, I didn't know why he was doing this, but something was wrong with him, this time he just slept there on the grass unconscious, didn't wake up or anything, "Okay... I'm taking him to the hospital."
After some time, I saw a doctor examining Allan, for any more bruises or broken bones. The doctor came to me and said, "He will live, that's for sure. But he got too many injuries that it would take week to recover, unless we use magic. Which wouldn't work either."
"I see. Well... thank you doctor." I said while walking towards Allan.
Allan seemed relaxed.. like nothing happened... he was in his 'casual' sleep, "Something must be wrong... I can feel it..."
I looked under Allan, because I saw small pieces of purple shards, "... what's this?" I used my magic to levitate the shard while examining it at the same time... it had small purple outer glow around it.
I said quietly, "Allan... what are you hiding from us.."
"I need to see Twilight. Now."
As I rushed to Twilight's library, I saw her feeling down. I noticed a book on her 'book stand', it showed all the good times Twilight and her friends had... I took the book with me and walked up to Twilight, "Are you okay...?"
"No. My friends left me.. I have nothing left... just leave me..... alone." Twilight said in depressed voice
I levitated book in front of Twilight, "Remember these good times you and your friends had? They are not leaving you. They will be always there. It's all Discords fault. Don't get fooled by his magic."
It seemed Twilight remembered... she began to change colour... she changed back to normal, "Yes... I won't be fooled by Discord's filthy magic! Thank you, ShadowMere!", Twilight hugged me and galloped away to save her friends
I went back to see Allan, and by the time I left Twilight's library it seemed she has done the work already by bringing back all
her friends back to normal, it seemed that they have defeated Discord too... "How slow was I?", I tried to seek an answer in my head.
I came up to the ponies, "So... how's everybody doing today?"
"We are fine, ShadowMere." AppleJack answered
I looked up to Rarity to see if she was fine, as I looked at her our eyes met together she seemed blush a little bit, we looked at each other I could feel the love inside myself... I wish the moment would never end... we moved closer to each other... nopony noticed us... we almost kissed until our 'romantic' moment was interrupted by Allan exiting his patient room. It seemed RainbowDash was too excited for him to be recovered from his 'sleep'.
"YOUR OKAY!" RainbowDash yelled as she flew toward with a hug to Allan.
Allan asked right after the hug ended from RainbowDash, "What's going on?"
"After you and ShadowMere helped us realize that Discord had made us the opposite of our true selves, you went into a fell unconscious." Said Twilight.
I looked confused, "The last time I saw him was here... how did he helped you?"
"He helped me right after you made me realise that I have been fooled by Discord." explained Twilight
"So... what are you saying is... that he escaped... hospital?!" I went in big shock
Twilight looked at me confused, "Couldn't be... he was looking normal to me."
"Hmmm...." I scratched my head while thinking
"Well... enough of that ShadowMere it is bad as it is... we are happy that you've recovered Allan.", Twilight smiled
I went to Allan after everybody was gone, "Allan. I want you ask you something."
"What is it Shadow?" he looked tired
"I found these... under your bed and yourself." I levitated the 'Void Shard' while I spoke to Allan
He looked confused, "Really, that's......interesting."
I used my magic to put the Shard away "I know somethings going on around you but I don't care unless it directly affects me, my friends, or Rarity. So whatever it is, I think you should deal with it, before it becomes a problem. Got it... Allan?" As I finished to speak with Allan, I walked out of his patient room.
~Dear Diary~
There is something wrong in Ponyville... it seems to affect Allan... what ever it is... I shall look for it and find out what it is and what does it do. I will wait... and examine every step and move what Allan makes. I think that will lead me to an answer of this chaos.
As I put down my quilt, I went to bed waiting for a new day filled with new adventures, new places, new enemies and the truth of the 'Void Shard' power.

The Unexpected Visit: Wedding Event
~Four weeks and one day later~
"Argh.." I moaned while trying to get up normally on my hoofs, I looked around me to get any idea where I was trapped it, it was silent, like a forest, just silent. No wind... nothing.
"Where in the hoof am I?" I asked myself confusingly.
I started walking in direction I thought would be the exit but I bumped into the rock, I was confused, I didn't know what to do, but all of sudden I could hear a nearby magic being used. I followed the sound, the dark cave was a mysterious place for any magic to be happening in. As I walked to the sound I looked around me, there was nothing but darkness, there were so many emotion circulating trough my body, even a pony like me I do not get scared a lot... but this might be one of the times... I do.
~About one day later~
I was walking what I believed was a whole freaking day, the cave system must be longer than I imagined to be, twists and turns in every way if I choose the wrong path... I might die in agony and pain... but I believe that this is the way.
"I must keep going... forward..." I motivated myself
"I must be strong... do not let any problems get to me... I shall pass this test." I kept going while speaking to myself because there was nobody around me.
I heard a distant moan... sounded like somepony was trapped in here as well, I followed the noise again... it came from the same direction where the magic noise was from. I believe that the pony was unconscious.
"Must... help... and get out... of here...." I spoke as I walked forward in pain
"Hello? Is anyone there?" Twilight shouted to see if she will get any response from any other pony to come and rescue her
I heard the voice and I knew that it was Twilight, she was in trouble
"I must help... Twilight" I walked to the direction that I heard all the noises coming from.
Twilight shouted in terror "Help! Help!"
Princess Cadence laughed "It's no use. No one can hear you. And no one will ever think to-"
"Hah! I seemed you 'evil' plans didn't work... did they, Queen Chrysalis?" I interrupted her
"Oh. I see that you've found my dear Twilight, you must have heard her 'help call' I shall say. Well. It's NO use. You shall NOT ESCAPE THESE RUINS! Muahahaha!" Queen Chrysalis laughed as she disappeared from the mirrors.
Twilight was so full of anger that she just fired her magic everywhere, at every glass she could see, she screamed in anger.
"Not going to hel-" I was interrupted as the last shot, the last glass broke... and revealed the real Princess Candace.
Twilight looked sharply at me "Say again, Shadow?"
"Well... umm... FIRSTLY. I would like to tell you that my name is actually, ShadowMere... so... ha! Secondly... umm... good luck I suppose? Heh." I answered Twilight, she knew I had no idea what was I talking about... so she just ignored me and looked at Princess Cadence.
"No! Wait! Ugh! Please! Don't hurt me! Twilight, it's me! Please, you have to believe me. I've been imprisoned like you. The Cadance who brought you down here was an imposter." Princess Cadence said with her last power she had left.
Twilight looked angry at Princess Cadance "Likely story!"
"Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake. Clap your hooves..." Princess Cadance started to sing some sort of song that Twilight and her knew, "...and do a little shake." they both ended the song.
Twilight seemed really happy, "You remember me!"
"Of course I do. How could I forget the filly I love to sit for the most?" Princess Cadence smiled at Twilight in happiness.
Twilight smiled, "We have no more time! We have to get out of here. We have to stop her!"

"Mine... all mine..." Queen Chrysalis laughed evilly.
As soon as we exit the caves I started to think about Rarity... is she okay... is she not hurt, does she miss me? I had so many questions in my mind. I couldn't answer them all.
"SNAP OUT OF IT, SHADOW!" Twilight screamed right at my face as that did not work she slapped my face with her hoof.
I backed up, confused. I looked around, got my all senses back "Right..." I answered.
Princess Cadance, Twilight and me charge the door and stop the whole ceremony.
"STOP!" Twilight shouted
"Ugh! Why does she have to be so possessive of her brother? Why does she have to ruin my special day?" Queen Chrysalis acted out as she was upset.
"Because it's not your special day! It's mine!" The real Princess Cadance answered back.
"What? But how did you escape my bridesmaids?" Queen Chrysalis said confusingly, then she heard her bridesmaids, "I want it!" chasing a what seemed a some kind of flowers.
"Hmph. Clever. But you're still too late." Queen Chrysalis laughed.
I looked at Rarity, she looked beautiful, I've never seen her so beautiful before, it seemed that she was from heavens, I kept staring at her, think about her... thinking is she fine... I wished I could go there and just... hug her, but I was interrupted by a bang. I saw Princess Celestia on the floor and Princess Cadance asking to get the Elements of Harmony. Then I saw something that I will not forget Queen Chrysalis in forever, as the six ponies ran, Twilight Sparkle, FlutterShy, PinkiePie, RainbowDash and AppleJack, Queen Chrysalis has catched Rarity "You are not going ANYWHERE!" Queen Chrysalis laughed.
My body felt different, full with anger, I just wanted to rescue Rarity, I didn't know if she saw me, but I loved her. I couldn't let anyone touch her nor hurt her... "I must... I must... SAVE. RARITY!!!" I screamed as I released my anger. My body changed. I wasn't ShadowMere that everybody knew. I changed completely my mind was completely blank but there was one thought in my mind. To save Rarity.
"Shadow...Mere?" Rarity looked at me shocked, as she didn't recognized me.
I screamed, I let my anger out, I focused on Chrysalis, I let the power go through my body, I knew it was the time, I charged at Queen Chrysalis, as my hoof touched her body we both flew through the wall, "NEVER HURT HER AGAIN!" I screamed at Queen Chrysalis in mid air.
As we hit the mountain, I stepped back and looked at the Queen Chrysalis, "You... shouldn't have..." I sobbed while talking to her, "You... evil."
"Guards...!" Queen Chrysalis screamed with her last powers, and then she fell unconscious, every guard of Queen Chrysalis, every Changeling came up to me, they all stared at me angrily, growling and hissing to me, they knew I was a threat to them.
"Back away." I stared at them angrily. I knew that they wont disobey their Queen. So I focused my power which was left in my body, to save Canterlot, I focused my body, my horn started to glow, my eyes went blank white and the last thing I remember was a loud bang noise. I fell unconscious after that.
~1 Week Later~
In Canterlot Hospital
"Did I save her...?" I asked while my eyes where closed.
"You did..." Rarity answered happily.
As I opened my eyes I saw Rarity standing next to me, no one else was there, just her as soon as I wanted to speak she... kissed me. I couldn't resist, so I gave back the favor. We both kissed each other.
"Never... do that again... Shadow..." Rarity said while hugging me
"I couldn't... I... Love you, Rarity." I said to her quietly.
"I love you too. Shadow." Rarity said and kissed me again.
