You know Dragons. Large, scaly, ferocious monsters. They horde gold, guard damsels, and mutilate any that come near. Have you ever tried to kill a Dragon? I'll tell you, it's not heroic, it's the farthest thing from it. It's brutal, bloody, dangerous, and every job puts your life on the line. Why would any pony do something like this? Easy, huge payout baby. Politicians, rulers, towns, anyone with a Dragon problem calls and they'll pay through the nose to have the beast exterminated. The one thing to always remember though, is it's not the big dragons you need to look out for, nor the eldest, it's the children. They don't know their power, their ferocity, or anything at all. They could cower in fear, or when put against a wall, you could wish you'd be at the mercy of 100 of it's fathers. This tale is about how I came across a contract, a very specific and special contract, and how it affected the world.
