The beginning View Onlinescootaloo`s struggleThe beginning The beginning "I'm so exited!" Scootaloo squeaked. "We'll calm down or else you will miss the bus" Scootaloo's mom said. They headed outside. It was an unusually cloudy day the bits of sun barely seeping through the clouds. There in the street was a long yellow bus with a black stripe going through it. Scootaloo's eyes opened in awe as the doors to the bus slowly opened. "We'll go on" Scootaloo's mother said with a satisfied smile. "Thanks mom" Scootaloo cheered as she entered the bus. Scootaloo looked and saw all the new faces either looking out the window or having a surprisingly loud conversation with a near by pony. She quietly took the seat closest to the door unable to hide her anxious smile. She jumped as the bus started to move and rock from side to side from the bumps on the road. The bus seamed to last forever, but she still smiled the hole way there. When the bus finally came to a stop at her new school she practically jumped out of her seat. Scootaloo was the first one off the bus. She walked down the sidewalk heading for the big entrance she was a little scared but she was so happy she didn't notice the butterflys in her stomach. She gently pushed on one of the two glass doors. The cool air of the building hit her like a wall. She walked down the narrow hallways. She watched the reflection of her body on the clean white tiles of the floor. She walked to the end of the hallway and there she found her class room. The number above the door said 103. She opened the small wooden door with a door handle she hasn't seen before. As she entered the room she saw a pony with blonde hair and dark pink fur her cutey Mark resembled a peace of paper being cut in half by a pair of scissors. She seemed like a nice pony so she walked up to her. "Hello. I'm the teacher" the pony introduced. "Hi" said Scootaloo excitedly. "Please take a seat with the rest of the class" the teacher said with a cruel tone. Scootaloo sat down and looked around at the puzzle pieces on the ground, and the toys the other ponies were playing with. Now she felt the fear in her stomach she was scared to mess up and hurt somepony unintentionally by taking there toy. Scootaloo said to the pony next to her "hi I'm Scootaloo". The other pony said sassily "um do I care." Then turned and continued talking to one of the ponys sitting next to her. Scootaloo turned to the pony on her other side and said again "hi I'm Scootaloo" The other pony kept talking to the other nearby ponies not Acknowledging her at all. Scootaloo slowly stood up and walked to a corner and sat there. No one notices the small Pegasus crying in the corner of the room. Even as she cried for her mother to be there with her nopony cared enough to ask what was wrong or try to make her feel better. Scootaloo's heart raced when the sound of the alarming bell broke into her mind. All the other ponies left including the teacher. She made sure evrypony was gone before she got up and walked out of the room. There she faced the wooden door with the awkward door handle again. She slowly opened the door makeing sure not to make noise as she entered the shiny white hallways. She walked down the tiled hallway till she came across the two doors she hade entered this terrible place through. She opened the two glass doors delicately with her hooves and walked out of the horror house her mother called school. Scootaloo made sure to stay on the sidewalk because her vision was blurry from the the minutes of crying she hade gone through during school and her terribly long walk home. She finally reached her street, but as she turned on the curve of the sidewalk she saw some smoke twirling in the air. At first she didn't think it was a big deal maybe it was a barbecue party, but as she got closer she saw that the smoke was coming from the area were her house was. She started to run to her house fearing the worst makeing sure she was wrong. Horror struck Scootaloo's face as she saw her beautiful house burning down. She started to ask the fire ponies were her parents were but nopony saw them leaving the house. She sat on the sidewalk waiting for her parents. The fire ponies finally put out the fire but there was nothing remaining of her house nothing but small pieces of black ash. She then over herd the fire ponies talking saying they found the body of two ponies burned in the house that they could not identify. She refused to believe that her parents were gone so she sat down on the sidewalk again and waited for her parents to come back. Night came and Scootaloo's parents still haven't arrived so she slowly walked over to the remains of her house. She walked over to were her room once was and laid in the dark ash of were her once so comfy and beautiful bed had been. She felt the uncomfortable ash on her fur it was still warm and when she moved her hoof she felt the black mush rub off on her hoof. Scootaloo laid down and imagined her mother and father coming in and singing her lullabies then hugging and kissing her goodnight. She slowly started to close her eyes and fall gently to sleep. Scootaloo's eyes shoot open as she gasped for air. She felt the sweet on her pillow and tasted the salt on her lips. She started to calm down and control her breath. She sat up the sweat still fresh on her forehead. Scootaloo said with a tear in her eye and sad expression on her face "I miss you mom and dad."
the familyView Onlinescootaloo`s strugglethe familyScootaloo slowly stood up and looked around. The sun was just starting to come up. She stretched and yawned until she was able to move without falling. She moved to her pillow and blanket which was hidden behind a garbage bin. She put the pillow and blanket in her backpack so that nopony would take it or throw it away. Then she grabbed her scooter and drove it out of the ally where she slept. By the time Scootaloo got to the grocery market the sun was already high up in the air blazing it's heat across the town. She looked up and couldn't help but remember the memory she saw while she was asleep. She did everything she could to keep from crying and embarrassing herself in public. Scootaloo goes through the grocery market every day on her way to school. She usually can't afford any of the food they offer, but sometimes she finds a bit on the ground and buys what she can. Today ,like most days, she couldn't buy anything. She kept driving until she saw a familiar blue Pegasus with a rainbow main and tail and a cheerful smile on her face. "Rainbow dash", Scootaloo squeaked. "Hay scoots", Rainbow dash replied. The gentle smile Rainbow dash gave Scootaloo always gave her a warm feeling like she had a family again. "Want an apple", Rainbow dash said calmly. "I couldn't", Scootaloo said with a little depression in her voice. "Are you sure", Rainbow dash said. "I'm sure", Scootaloo responded. Rainbow dash finished buying her breakfast for the day. She didn't eat it in front of Scootaloo out of respect. The two Pegasus walked side by side. Rainbow dash realized that school would be starting soon. "Hay you better hurry or you will be late for school", Rainbow dash said. "I don't want to I hate school", Scootaloo wined. "Oh come on you have friends there and a teacher, anyways I have to go to work", Rainbow dash said. "Ok I will see you later", Scootaloo said defeated. "See you later squirt", Rainbow dash said cheerfully. Scootaloo watched Rainbow dash fly away and couldn't help wanting to fly with her feeling the wind flow through her main and having this great pony next to her protecting her. She sighed knowing she couldn't and had to head to school. She started walking down the road with her head low. She hated going to school she always felt that something would go wrong somewhere. She made sure to try and avoid all the ponies that knew her so she could skip school without ponies getting her in trouble. Scootaloo kept walking hoping to find any money so she could to get an actual lunch. As almost always there was nothing. She slowly walked back to the grocery market again. She saw a nice little stand selling shiny red apples. She walked up to it, and waited till the young pony running was busy doing something else. She quickly grabbed the apple and hide it under her wing and swiftly walked away unnoticed. She went back to the ally which she called home, there she uncovered the apple and held it in her hoofs. She knew it was wrong what she did but she had no choice it was that or go hungry. She quickly ate the apple. As she bit into the Apple with a loud crunch she could taste the juice flowing from inside. It was the best thing she tasted in a while. Scootaloo had nothing else to do. She wasn't old enough to get a job, and hardly anypony dropped money. She was so hungry even after she ate that apple. She didn't know what to do ether she could ask Rainbow dash or keep getting hungrier and hungrier. Scootaloo was so scared to have to ask Rainbow dash for money, and she knew that if she asked her she would have to tell her about her past. That part scared her the most. She never told anypony about her past, her family, and her fears. She had no idea how to even tell her. Scootaloo finally gave up and decided that she will go hungry until the time is right to tell Rainbow dash. She felt relived to finally make up her mind. She headed to school so that she could meet up with her friends. She hoped she could leave everything behind her and just have fun.

She kept walking till she could finally see the school, that horror bringing school. She sighed then continued walking. She could feel the icy cold sweat on the back of her neck, every step getting harder and harder to move forward as she got closer to the school. She began to feel the great fear of possible soon death in the air, it began to hurt every step she took. She finally got in front of the school when the deafening sound of the school bell went off. She froze, she couldn't move she felt like she was outside of her body looking at the world around her that bell wasn't in anyway normal to her it was the sound of torture the sound of death. "Scootaloo," a strangely well known voice called out. Scootaloo looked around trying to find who was saying it. "Scootaloo," it said again. Scootaloo started to get scared not knowing who or wear that voice was. "Scootaloo!" Sweetie belle squeaked "are you alright." Scootaloo shook out of her confusion and realized it was Sweaty belle who was talking to her from the yard of the school. That school was in every single one of her nightmares and just the sight of it sent a cold shiver through her body. The evil that lingered in that school was indescribable. She didn't take a step closer to that dreadful place instead she let Sweaty belle who was now accompanied by Applebloom walk to her. "What did you say," asked Scootaloo still a little confused and very nervous. "I said hi Scootaloo," Sweetie belle restated not noticing the nervousness in Scootaloo’s voice. "Oh hi Sweetie bell, hi Apple bloom." Scootaloo stated beginning to hide her fear. "Howdy," said Apple bloom also not noticing Scootaloo’s nervousness. “what are you two doing” said Scootaloo with a fake smile. "nothing right now but we were thinking of going to the tree house and work on our cutie marks," Sweetie belle said with enthusiasm. "ya we were just wait'en for you to get hear," said Apple bloom just as enthusiastic as Sweetie belle "oh okay," said Scootaloo Sweetie belle and Apple bloom ran off down the rode not waiting for Scootaloo to start running too. Scootaloo was still frozen in place even when she noticed her two friends running she was still to scared of that evil school. She didn't move until her two friends were out of site. She started to slowly walk on the hot sidewalk again. She knew the girls would be their any second but she wasn't strong enough to run yet. When she was about half way their she finally felt good enough to slowly trot, but she still felt that evil presence in the back of her head clawing at her eyes waiting to show it's hideous head to her again. She knew something was going to happen and she was going to lose someone again. She prayed to celestial that she wouldn't lose Rainbow dash, but all she could do is hope. Scootaloo finally made it to the tree house she saw Sweetie belle and Apple bloom working furiously in the top of the tree house. She climbed up and saw they were building something she had never seen before. "What are you two doing," said Scootaloo. "You should know you were hear the hole time," said Sweetie belle with a bit of attitude. "Cutie mark crusaders inventors!" said Apple bloom excitedly. "oh," said Scootaloo a little bit depressed Sweetie belle and Apple bloom continue building still not noticing Scootaloo's tone. Scootaloo stood their afraid of messing up what Sweetie Belle and Apple bloom were doing. All of a sudden Sweetie belle ran into Scootaloo. "Hay what was that for," said Sweetie belle. "What, I didn't do anything." Scootaloo said defending herself. "Yes you did you hit me," said Sweetie belle angrily. "No I didn't you ran into me," said Scootaloo a little frightened. "No Sweetie belle was just walk'en along and you went and hit her," said Apple bloom defiantly. "But," Scootaloo feeling the tears grow in her eyes. "Why are you crying you baby," said Sweetie belle in a cruel tone. "I..." said Scootaloo unable to stop her feelings from getting hurt. Scootaloo started crying she could feel the warm tears travel down her cheeks. She ran out of the tree house still crying and not looking back. She ran as fast as she could, that moment she felt the need to fly and just get away from all of this torture but she couldn't she was trapped in this nightmare unable to loosen the grip of night and allow her to wake. She was stuck. Scootaloo ran and eventually came across that horrible school that murdered her parents, and destroyed her friendship. She didn't know what to do so she continued running as fast as she could. A few minutes later she entered the shopping district. It was almost empty there was only about four ponys their. She still didn't stop. Scootaloo finally came across the ally that she called home. She ran Behind the dumpster and sat. She finally felt safe from that evil. She looked up and saw a pony moving the clouds above her. Normally they don't care about the clouds in this part of town. It was almost empty why would they. Nopony lived their that's why she sleeps their so that nopony could find her. Scootaloo looked closer and realized it was Rainbow dash.
