"Come on Thunder Lane! I'm having a dinner party in a few weeks and I'd love to announce it then. It would be a perfect time when all my friends are together, other wise I have to tell my friends separately and repeat myself over and over again. Pretty please," Shattered Sapphire pleaded, batting her eyes. Though Shattered Sapphire was not a super girly mare, this gesture always seemed to win over Thunder Lane.

"Sapphire, we really are not ready to-" Thunder Lane said, getting interrupted.

"We are ready to have a foal! We are, we are, we are!" Shattered Sapphire argued.

"If it would really make you that happy..." Thunder Lane said, trailing off at the end of the sentance.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Shattered Sapphire said, totally overjoyed.

Shattered Sapphire is a baby blue pegasus with a long, flowing red and mint green striped mane. She has a blue ribbon as her cutie mark because of her love of competition and winning.  She describes herself as: random but not crazy, competitive, smart, deceptive at times, attractive, confident, and fearless, though some ponies would disagree. She married Thunder Lane about a year ago after she learned he was accepted into the Wonderbolt academy. She had liked him got a long time but that finally put her over the edge. She has wanted a foal ever since but Thunder Lane has always shot down the idea for some reason or another, but now Shattered Sapphire had finally won, and after all that time she would finally get what she wanted, and what she deserved.

Thunder Lane walked to Shattered Sapphire, pulling her close. Shattered Sapphire pushed Thunder Lane to the ground, laying on top of him. She kissed him out of pure joy, not much else. Shattered Sapphire pushed her tongue against his, enjoying every part of this sweet moment, because Thunder Lane was not a very sweet or sentimental pony, though he was a great stallion. Thunder Lane caressed Sapphire's face, slowly sliding his hoof all the way down her body until he reached her marehood.

"Get on with on with it, I wanted quick pregnancy, not a romance scene," Shattered Sapphire said.

Thunder Lane quickly inserted his stallionhood into her marehood. He went in deep and started pumping, wanting to make Sapphire happy. Shattered Sapphire let out a pleasured groan, thinking of her foal. She was too consumed in thought of foals and pregnancy to pay much attention so the whole session was a blur. Soon after Thunder Lane had went to go shower, Shattered Sapphire crawled right into bed, having sweet dreams about her future foal.

One week later, Shattered Sapphire rushed home from the Ponyville drug store, carrying a small brown bag, containing a small piece of white plastic. She opened the door of Thunder Lane's and her cloud home, not stopping to admire her beautiful house as usual. The could house was made of a large storm cloud, though rain nor lightning ever exited the cloud.  A small rainbow waterfall dripped down the side into their little pond, swirling the rainbow in with the water. A tiny, contained tornado swirled around the top of their pointed roof, to add a certain touch of danger and mystery to the dećore. An occasional boom of thunder came from the cloud, a special touch done by Thunder Lane to represent his name.

Shattered Sapphire rushed through the living room, and into the master bathroom on the first floor, shutting the door. The first floor had a master bed and bath, a kitchen, an dining room, and a living room. The upstairs had a nursery and two bedrooms, both attached to a small bathroom. There was also a small entertainment room next to one of the bedrooms. Thunder Lane did not question Sapphire because he knew it was the day she was going to take her at home pregnancy test. Though both of them figured she was probably pregnant, Shattered Sapphire demanded that she check.

In the bathroom, Sapphire read the instructions on the pregnancy test.  It said the results would be ready after five minutes, and would only stay on the tester for ten minutes, to keep the results fairly private. She saw a small circle of glass on the top of the tester with the following words printed next to it.

'No lines - not pregnant. One blue line - one colt. One pink line - one filly. Any combination of these would result in more than one foal, such as a two blue lines would result in twin colts.'

Shattered Sapphire followed the instructions on the little plastic pregnancy tester, careful to do every step correctly. She knew the five minutes that followed would be done of the slowest minutes in her life, but Sapphire just sat, waiting patiently.

"Stay calm Sapphire," she whispered to herself, "your results will be good."

Slowly, a fuzzy line started to appear on the tester. Shattered Sapphire strained her eyes, trying to make out the color of the line but she couldn't, the miserable pegasus would just have to wait out the five minutes. Shattered Sapphire put the tester on the counter and walked out of the bathroom, refusing to look at the results until they were fully developed.

"So, what's the news?" Thunder Lane asked, actually intrigued.

"The results have to develop before you can see them," Shattered Sapphire said.

"Oh, how long?" Thunder Lane asked.

"Should be any minute now." The baby blue pegasus flew into the bathroom, grabbing the tester. She planted her eyes on the small glass circle. The piece of glass contained two small lines, one blue, and one pink.Sapphire stared at it, shocked and amazed but filled with happiness. She couldn't contain her excitement and had to tell her husband, and in about a week, her friends.

"Thunder Lane, were having having twins, a filly and a colt!"
