Years into the future: Earth is dying. Widespread drought consumes the planet. People starve due to crop shortages. Flourishing forests dwindle away into deserts.Governments panic at the diminishing oil reserves. As if their prayers had been answered; a scientific mishap leads to the creation of a portal into the Equestrian world. All goes well between the ponies and humans, but the peace is short lived. The human leaders soon discover the plentiful resources of the Equestrian world. The Ponies of Equestria quickly realize that humans are a plague and want them gone. The humans refuse to leave unless they get what they want.

**Quick note, the story does switch point of views. Just a heads up to avoid confusion. Also some of the chapters do occur at the same time just with a different point of view. I'm open to suggestions and changes for the story as well.
