Nightmarity's Reign

Rarity gave a wistful sigh as she pulled the tuft of Rainbow’s mane that had gotten snagged in the cat carrier off the grate. There was no way she’d be able to get Opal to the vet if she suspected a pony had been occupying her CozyCat9000, and Rarity wasn’t about to shell out another hundred bits just because this one had been ‘besmirched’.

Rarity tossed the hair into a nearby wastebasket and climbed the stairs back to her room, opening the door and taking an appraising glance at the window. She had been slightly surprised by just how into it Rainbow had gotten; Thank Celestia she’d managed to put up that barrier right before Rainbow tried to jump out the window, or Carousel Boutique might have been looking at quite the repair bill...

Rainbow was almost completely motionless, splayed out on the bed with her right hind leg twitching every few seconds. Her face was the picture of ecstasy; Wide, open grin, tongue lolling halfway out of her mouth, eyes rolled back far enough that Rarity could see more white in them than magenta.

Rarity giggled as she cuddled up next to Rainbow, throwing the previously released manacles off the bed with a burst of levitation, and placing a quick peck on her marefiend’s cheek. “I told you you weren’t ready for what I had in store for tonight, but you just wouldn’t listen.”

Rainbow’s right hind leg twitched in response.

“And you didn’t think I could buck you silly.” Rarity stuck her tongue out at her marefriend. It had taken nearly 15 minutes to get all the black dye out of her fur; Rarity had to admit, even she was impressed with this accomplishment.

Rainbow’s left hind leg twitched this time.

Rarity wrapped her forelegs around Rainbow’s neck and pulled her in close, rubbing her cheek against her lover’s.

“Happy birthday, Rainbow Dash. I love you.” Rarity sighed contentedly. However, when no response came, she sat up and frowned. “Perhaps I bucked you a little too silly… Rainbow, dear, have you nothing to say to me?”

Rainbow’s tail twitched.

Rarity giggled again. “Okay, how about this; Twitch your right leg for ‘Thank you Rarity’, twitch your left leg for ‘You’re the best marefriend ever, Rarity’, and twitch your tail for ‘I love you too, Rarity’.”

Rainbow’s right hind leg, left hind leg, and tail all twitched.
