Ch:2

Keyota suffered- luckily no serious injuries and after a few days was released from the hospital. Thus starting the adventure for Vinyl, and Octavia- along with Storm Shock, and the newly met Kai and Sora to get her life back on track.

"I just can't believe you would do such a thing Key." Storm started, him and Key were alone in the latter's house. It was around 9 pm, and Storm said he would stay with the mare until the next morning when the rest would be here.
"......."

"Keyota, i know life has been hard to you and all but this?"
"Just...Why- you've never been so like this before."

"Why you ask?...WHY?!"
"As if i even need to answer that....i'm not meant for life."

"Come on now Key thats just-"
"Look at me!" The sudden volume startled Storm a bit. He had never heard her be this loud before. As he took a good look at the mare before him, his perspective of her finally willing to see the mare by appearance.

Keyota's mane- still the two tone green, but no longer spiked straight. Instead it being a very messed up bed-mane of sorts- all while being able to hang down past her neck. Her normally white coat, now only pure white showing in certain areas, while the rest being a light-ish grey. She looked worn down as if she had slept in a pit. The most noticeable of her appearance was her now Cutie-Mark less flank. He hadn't tried to look at it before, for social akward-ness, even more so with Keyota so he hadn't noticed up until now.

"Key what-"

" I can't do anything right anymore, I can't even Dj anymore. I've stopped getting gigs and eventually lost my job after i bought the house. I'm guessing it's because of my now non exestant Cutie Mark. Cutie Marks don't normally disappear. Everything in my life, leading up to this....it means i'm not wanted in this world anymore!" "WHAT ELSE NEEDS TO HAPPEN FOR EVERYPONY TO UNDERSTAND THAT?!"

"STOP!"
"There has to be some explanation for this- other than what you said. Whatever it is, were going to find out what and why," He said as he glanced over to a clock. "Come on Keyota it's getting late, let's just get to bed k?" He sat down and thought for a bit as the mare went up to her bedroom.

How can a Cutie Mark just- just ...Vanish? It's just not possible...is it? Maybe- NO Keyota is Not right everypony has a reason to be alive, Everypony. "And we'll just have to find it- dare i say 'Celestia Give us strength'?" He asked as he looked towards the sky before starting for the bedroom.

Ever since the well.... 'incident' you could call it, Keyota had lost all but three of the few friends she had managed to gain. Storm was the only one left, because both Sora and Kai- her other two friends, were both off in Cloudsdale for the month. So besides him she was completely alone, she would usualy cry herself to sleep for the following nights. Thinking back to it now, it was lucky that Storm had come to check on her one night- amidst crying herself to sleep. He saw the tears and the look on her face and immediately came inside to comfort her. When the hours grew late and Luna's moon at it's peak, Storm had said he would say as long as she needed and went to bed. Only to be woken up a few minutes later by the sound of semi-suppressed sobbing, comming from the mare next room. He realized that the incident had also probably awoken old fears and incidents in the poor mare's dreams, and sat down beside the bed for a while. Untill realizing that, that wouldn't cut it so he - after only a moments' hesitation, got into the bed with her. Quickly feeling a pair of hooves around his side, their owner starting to subside the sobbing-but still shaking. That was until he turned her over and did the same, as the other mare slowly drifted into sleep.
That was one of the first and now few nights she had stopped the sobbing.

"The only night I felt safe." She said with tears of both joy and despair coming up as storm entered the room and climbed into the bed. Ever since that night Storm had kept his promise to be there, at anytime and do what was necessary to calm her down. At night that meant sleeping with her- JUST SLEEPING YOU PERVERTS. Something he gladly would do, if it meant being able help her out in any way. Now for Storm's POV on the event

It's getting late- Luna's moon just barely visible over the horizon, as i made my way to Keyota's house.
I can't even imagine a pony going through something like that and being that emotionally stable- let-alone Keyota. "What Rose did to you Key was Vile and Unforgivable- No matter what you might have done to her NOTHING is worth having...that done to somepony." Why i'm talking to No-pony in particular i don't know....."Ah there's her house," I said to myself as I knocked on the door.

"Keyota?" "You there?" Still no reply as I knocked again. "Keyota, it's me Storm."
Ah I hear hoof steps, she must be comming.
"Storm...i-is that you?" "That's what I said right?" I heard the door unlock, and a few moments later it opened inward as I stepped inside. The door closing quickly behind me, as I went and sat down on the couch, followed a few moments later by Key. Not much about her had changed since the recent 'incident'. Well save for her mane which was still the same two tone green-was now only spiked in some places, all while most of it fell down past her body.
"Key what's bothering you?" I said noticing the tears under her eyes.
"...."
"Key what Rose did to you was just....Vile and unforgivable No-pony deserves something like that."

"It's not just that- even before that everything that could screw me over did." "I mean what did I do to deserve any of this?" She said on the verge of tears.

"Nothing Key, you just gotta keep up hope- you still have us of course." "And we'll never desert you just because of what happens."

"y-you mean it?"

"Every word." I said as the dam broke- for once also with tears of joy, as I felt hooves wrap around me and her head on my shoulder.

Eventually it grew late and Keyota went to bed. I had said I would stay with her as long as she needed me.
,it was about 11 o'clock when I tried to go to sleep on the couch in the living room. When I was woken up by a soft sobbing comming from the bedroom. "Poor mare- she's been through so much the past few days." I said as I walked into the bedroom.
The mare was of course sobbing- albeit suppressed in a way, but she was shaking heavily. I sat down by the bed for a minute before realizing that it had little effect. I eventually got into the bed and soon found myself held tightly by pair of hooves, she stopped sobbing over a few minutes. But the shaking continued, so I tried turning her over and did the same-luckily it worked and we both drifted off to sleep.

"Don't worry Key tomorrow we get your life back" Storm said as he got into the bed with the mare who sighed before saying.
"That's what I'm afraid of." Storm responded with a pillow to the face.
"Just you wait Key just you wait.

I definitely think my writing ability is getting better.
