Rarity woke up covered in satin bed sheets. The warm summer sun rose and filtered through the windowsill. She blinked.How did I get here?She thought. Rarity tried to remember last night. I worked on a new fashion line, then… Oh yes! I lay down and attempted to read that fashion book Twilight sent me for my birthday! That must of sent me right to sleep. Kind of SweetieBelle to tuck me in- What is that burning smell? Rarity sprang out of bed and almost tripped over SweetieBelle, AppleBloom and Scootaloo trying to carry her a burned breakfast. She stopped right in front of them and said,

"SWEETIE BELLE! What are AppleBloom and Scootaloo doing here!?" Rarity cried.

"Don't you remember? AppleBloom and Scootaloo were having a sleepover!" SweetieBelle explained impatiently.

They all shouted in unison, "CUTIE MARK CRUSADER BREAKFAST MAKERS!". After they tackled and tied Rarity up, They forced her to eat the breakfast they had made. After they finished, they checked their flanks, which were still blank. Rarity gagged, a sour taste from the food still in her mouth.

"There is NO WAY IN EQUESTRIA that you will get your cutie marks like this!" she said wiping her tongue on her face towel.

"Aw, shoot. I really thought we were onto something there." AppleBloom whined.

There was a knock on the door. Rarity got up and looked out the window. AppleJack and RainbowDash were there. Rarity shrieked. "JUST A MINUTE! Sweetie, where are my eyelashes? Thank you, APPLEBLOOM THAT'S MY MANE CURLER- Scootaloo, not my eyeshadow! APPLEJACK, I'M COMING!" she said as she got ready, grabbed AppleBloom and Scootaloo's things and raced down to the door. She completed all of this in TEN. SECONDS. FLAT.

RainbowDash said, "Hey Rar, just picking up Scootaloo-", "-And AppleBloom!" Applejack finished.

"I can see that. Rainbow Dash, did you get your Honor note from the WonderBolt academy yet? I saw in the Ponyville Express you passed with 'flying' colours! Excuse my bad pun." Rarity asked.

Rainbow looked up, pleased for the spot light. "Yeah! I actually brought the over-all cut list from the academy to show the squirt here." she said, ruffling Scootaloo's mane. "Here! Umm… gimme a sec. Or a minute."

Dash dug through her bag that was strapped to her stomach and pulled out a long cut list.  it went like this;

Rarity stared at the list. Applejack stood behind her, read the list quickly and jumped on RainbowDash, shouting,

"GOOD WORK RAINBOWDASH! WOOOO!" She gave Dash a hug.

"Okay, Okay, AJ!" After brushing off Applejack, she looked expectantly at Rarity, who tilted her head sideways.

"Good work! What does it mean? I mean...exactly?"

RainbowDash stared at Rarity like she had just dropped from outer space. Applejack did the same for abou one second then fell over laughing. "What?" Rarity asked.

Dash explained excitedly while Applejack was rolling over in the dust. "It means that I was the best flier in that batch of pegasi! Which means that I am an elite flier. And that means…?". Rainbow nodded at Rarity, waiting for her to get it.

Rarity blinked. RainbowDash sighed. "You need to get out more."

Suddenly a high pitched voice came from above them; "That's just what I said to Twilight a little while back!"

Dash, Applejack, and Rarity all looked up. There, hanging upside down from a tree branch, was Pinkie Pie.

Rarity said, "Pinkie! What are you doing up there!?". AJ, Dash and Rarity all looked at each other and shrugged.

"I was playing hide and go seek!" Pinkie said from behind Rarity.

"Who with?" Applejack asked. A squeal came from AppleBloom.

Gummy, Pinkie's pet alligator had tried to bite off Scootaloo's head. Pinkie said,"I FOUND YOU, GUMMY!" She grabbed Gummy and ran off. Dash said,"Okay… well, It means next time they have a vacancy for their team, they're gonna pick ME!"

Rarity gasped and hugged RainbowDash. "I am SOOOOOO proud of you, Darling!" She let go and examined her competition. "You should probably check out the second place flier. It is always good to be ahead of the game. Who is…" She checked the list,"ThunderLane?"

Rainbow waved at Applejack, who was taking AppleBloom home. "Oh, he's that black pegasus with the blue mane. That one who caught you, remember?"

Rarity felt a jolt. Is he that stallion who I obsessed over for a month in my diary?she asked herself. She remembered his kind, handsome face, and the gentle touch of him carrying her to safety. Her heart raced. "I should go see him. I never got to properly thank him."

Rainbow grabbed Scootaloo and put her on her back. "Cool! I bet Twilight, Applejack,Fluttershy and Pinkie will want to thank him too!"

Rarity sighed. She wanted to go alone. "Alright. I'll meet you all by Sugarcube Corner in an hour."

Dash nodded, then laughed. "You look all red, Rarity." Then she took off.
