"Will I ever get to a sunny day?" I thought to myself I looked over to see my house it was a white house with a window on the front and on the back. "Well I've had worse places to call home" I said to myself as I walked towards it. I've been so sad ever since my moving into Macon, my parents were who now is... why even bothered trying to remember because they left me all alone with nothing, but a small orphanage to live in. Now my new life has begun so I walk up to the door and turn the knob. I'm surprised to see a small TV and a couch in one room, a full kitchen set in another, and in the final room was bedroom with a door. "Probably a bathroom" I said with a smile. I saw a note on the kitchen counter that said "Dear Lee, I got the crew who took your new stuff to unpack it for you. From your friend Vince. I smiled at the letter, Vince worked in moving, he was a good friend of mine since we were teens. He is a good friend. "I'm glad I still have someone supporting me.I felt happy, though a new beginning,and a new life, but I heard a knock on my door. It was oddly loud so I went to open the door and saw something I didn't expect it... was a pony... A Pony! It had a brown cowboy hat, golden blonde mane and tail , sunset orange coat, and beautiful green emerald eyes but the odd thing were the  three apples on her flank.  It looked up at me with a scared expression. "Where am I?" It asked nervously. I could tell it was a female and a Texan girl with her southern accent, "Your in Macon." I told her she looked up at me still scared, but not as scared. "Can I..l come in?" She said softly the look on her face made me feel bad i couldn't just leave her there. "Sure" she then stepped in my house and looked around her hooves clap against the floor she was dirty and smelled like dirt and mud as she walked in she left some hoof marks on the welcome carpet. "So whats your name?" I asked. "Applejack." she said softly. "Nice to meet you I'm Lee ." //-------------------------------------------------------// The letter and police //-------------------------------------------------------// Applejack I opened my eyes to see Applejack sleeping next to me hat on my counter next to her. I decided to wake her up so I poked her ear a few times and watch it twitch then her eyes open up. "Morning" I say as she wakes up.  I hear her stomach growl making her blush with embarrassment. "Do you have anything to eat... I'm starved." I thought for a second. "Well I just moved in yesterday, so lets see what's in the fridge." I walked towards the fridge, and open it to see some fruit and a few eggs. So I grab something that has an A in it, and gave it to her. "Here Applejack." I hand her an apple. "I love apples thanks!" She begins to eat the apple then throws the apple core in the garbage. I hear my phone go off scaring Applejack with it's ringing. She quickly rushes to me and wraps her hooves around me. "What is that?" She asks pointing a hoof at my Iphone. "Its an Iphone. Let's see who's calling." I reach for my phone and look at the numbers "Vince... stay quite, okay AJ." I tell her and she nods. "Hello?" "Hey Lee! It's me Vince... listen I need you to come by my house right now!" I know i can't right now with Applejack being here and all so I give him my answer to his request. "Sorry man I can't I have a visitor with me." I think for a second "Can't talk gotta go bye!" Smooth lee smooth I thought to myself as I hang up and put the phone in my pocket. I resume talking to AJ, her new nickname, who is looking somewhat sadden that the moment. "Hey AJ... are you okay?" She looks up at me and lets out a sigh. "I'm just... home sick... ah miss my family." I look at her and began to feel pity for her. "I can only imagine AJ." I said then hugged her. She blushed as she was in my embrace, but returned the hug back. I let go and looked into her emerald eyes. "Look... I don't know what happened, but until tell we find a way for you to get home... you are going to stay here, okay?" She hugged me tighter burying her muzzle into my shoulder. "Thank ya Lee! I promise not to be a bother, but what do we do now?" I looked at my watch 9:21 A.M. "Well first... you stink you need a bath." She give herself a quick sniff. "Ah don't smell that bad." I decided to lie to get her to take a bath. "Well humans have to take bathes or you will never be loved... and well the same goes for you AJ." She gasped and quickly began looking for the bathroom."Where is the bathroom then?" I point the door and she runs over throwing the door with her hooves then closes it. After a minute I hear splashing before I hear my phone go off again, but when I look at the messages I find one it says "Carter." It wasn't a number I recognized so I didn't respond, and went looking through my phone book.I met during my trip here. Leo has a odd obsession with the dream world, Eddie was the insane and coolest person... you don't want to hang with, but he's a nice guy, and Jessica was Vince's girlfriend... those two were a cute nerdy couple. I heard the door open only to see a much cleaner AJ as she gives me with a soft smile. "I wanna learn more about this world if I'm going to stay here for a while." I began to think again. "Actually I think that would be the best. My friend Vince, he's a good guy, is the closest friend of mine so lets go meet him." We walked though the quite neighborhood so I didn't think anyone was around to spot us. I knew where Vince's house was and it was close to mine so once we got there I knocked on the door with AJ standing behind me. He opened the door and frowned at us. " Hey I was about to..to..." He looked at AJ then back to me. "What's that pony doing here and with you?" I smiled at AJ before replying. "This Applejack... she's a talking pony from a alternative universe." I explained like a dumb-ass. I tell him we don't know how she got here and she just appeared on my welcome mat yesterday. He didn't seemed all that surprised. "Well what should we do now?" Vince asks I put a hand on my chin for a second then I got an idea. "How about she stays with me. We teach her how to live here until we can get her home ." He gave me an unsure glance, but nodded in agreement. "Yeah I don't have a better plan so we could just start there." I looked at AJ who also gave a nod. "Okay! We got a plan... the only problem is how are we going to get you home AJ?" We all set there frozen unsure of what to say next until I spoke up. "It doesn't matter how, but I know we can get you home." She smiled and gave me a hug. Once the hug was done we decided to leave Vince and tell him to call us if he gets any news. We walk back to my house or our house depending on how you looked at it. It was getting late so we hit the hay. I slept on the couch and she took the bed, but before I went to sleep I said something with such determination. "I will get you home AJ I swear on my life! You won't lose your family I promise." //-------------------------------------------------------// How did you get here, and meeting vince //-------------------------------------------------------// how did you get here? First things first I should be questioning is if the pony on my couch is real, but she has to be because she is sitting there. I sat down on the couch next to her, and began to look at her. "How did you get here?" I asked noticing the sad expression on her face. "Ah don't remember... all ah remember is waking up here in this town, and not  much more before that." I looked at her questioningly. "Is that really all you can remember?" I asked. She then held a hoof to her head and let out a yelp in pain. " Are you okay?" I asked concerned. "I'm fine muh head just hurts a little when I try to remember any more."  I looked at her in some concern. Maybe shes has a fever, or a headache. "Can I put my hand to your head  to see if you have a fever or not." She nods, I put my hand on her head. A small blush formed on her cheeks showing her freckles off. I guess she not used to being touched, but her head was hot though not to bad. "Applejack your burning up. You need some rest... take my bed, and you should feel better She gave me an unsure look. "Were are you gonna sleep?" I looked at her. "I'm sleeping on the couch." She looked at me surprised that I would give up my own bed for her. "But that's your bed! Ah can't just take your bed... I will take the couch." I gave her a smile "No, you take the bed. The couch is not to comfy, but you need good sleep and I will not take 'No' as an answer. Now come on and I will tuck you in." She gave me an angry face. "I'm a big mare! I can tuck myself in bed." I roll my eyes "Okay, then suit yourself." I watched her walk slowly towards my bed, and open the sheets with her teeth, then jumps in tucking herself under the blanket. "Goodnight Applejack." I said as I lay down on the couch. Before I close my eyes, I hear her say the words that I rarely  heard now days. "Goodnight Lee." Two hours later I awoke to the sound of thunder. I saw Applejack holding onto the covers for dear life. She was awake that was for sure with a terrified look on her face. I got up and went over to check on her.  "Are you okay?" She looked up at me. " N-no, I'm not... I'm scared of thunder, but my family would always be there for me when this happens to me." She had tears in her eyes as I wrapped my arms around her. "Shh.... I'm here you will be okay." She blushed while I held her in my arms. She buried her face against my chest and wrapped her front hoofs around me. "Please... stay with me tonight. I don't want to be alone." She was blushing, but the pleading look in her eyes told me that she was still scared. "Okay... I will stay. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere." I laid down next to her on the bed. We both said good night to each other again and soon fell asleep while the storm raged outside.
