The Knights of Harmony

The Gods

In the beginning before the rule of the princesses, before the rule of discord, before any-pony kind became civilized there were Two gods. Harmonia the goddess of light, the sun, and harmony and her brother Meromes god of darkness, the moon, and night. There mother was Earth, the mother of all things she created the sky, the sun and moon, the plants, and all of its inhabitants. Earth tasked her son and daughter to look after her creation's, Harmonia would look after ponykind and mankind, As Meromes controlled all other being including creatures their mother made by mistake. Harmonia and Meromes agreed to look after everything there mother had made.With Earths final words she lay on the her Earth seemingly sinking in the crust.

A millennium had passed sense Harmonia and Meromes have been in control and things have not been going well. Mermoes decide that their mother's creation of mankind and ponykind were absurd letting less superior beings think on there own having opinions on what to do Meromes believed that they would soon ignore the gods that protected them and think of only themselves and fight among each other destroying every other thing mother created. Meromes told her sister of his thought and that they should destroy all of sentient life that could think on its own. But Harmonia refused, she said that their mother tasked them to look after them not simply rule them. Enraged Meromes attack his sister, but both being gods they could not harm each other. Meromes told his sister if she would not help him destroy man and ponykind then he would do it himself.

Meromes plan to kill all of man and pony would prove difficult now that his sister knew of his intentions. His sister would warn them, telling them of Meromes plan. The God realized that him being a god he could create his own creations that would aide him on destroying the cites and towns the sentient beings lived in. He got right to making these creations of his, creating, vast army's of dark beings, huge monsters that could easily kill anything Meromes made 20 monsters in his own image each monster capable of using their own power.

The Children of the Gods

During the God's time of creating theses monsters Harmonia had two daughters who she gave them there own titlescribblesUnfortunately the god of darkness had himself one daughter and two sons. The eldest cosmos god of the stars, the youngest discord god of chaos, and nightmare goddess of the moon. Meromes showed his children how the race of man and pony should be dealt with or else they would rebel against them Meromes tainted them in believing that anything that can not be controlled has to die.

Meromes sent out his dark army out to man's city first, knowing that they can build powerful structure and he wanted them gone first. The army however was stopped before it even reached the city by Harmonia. The god was now angered, how did she know he was going to attack.

The god of darkness was not amused every monster and army sent was defeated by Harmonia and her subjects. They knew when he was going to attack before the monsters even reached. Meromes summoned his youngest so Discord, him being the god of chaos he could shift shape into any being of his choosing, Meromes tasked Discord to infiltrate Harmonia's castle and find out how his sister knew of his attacks. Discord happily did what his father asked and within a flash he was in Harmonia's home disguised as a maid.

Discord pretended to be cleaning the meeting hall were the Goddess and her advisers spoke. He waited patiently for the goddess to enter, but instead of just the goddess and her advisers he only saw her and...His eldest brother Cosmos, Discord immediately left to apprise his father on his news.

Betrayal

Discord approached his father's throne without hesitation, Meromes was happy seeing his child back knowing he had information by look on his face. In moments discord had told his father about his brother and how he was with the Goddess.

Upon hearing his youngest's news Meromes summoned nightmare to fetch her brother immediately. Cosmos entered the throne room along side nightmare. Meromes wasted no time, he called out his son demanding why he was with the Goddess. Cosmos told his father that his idea of man and ponykind rebelling over them may be true but he sided with the Goddess that she was right and they were meant to protect. Meromes told his son if he isn't with him then he's against him, Meromes told his son to either join them or leave. Cosmos choose to leave...

The Elements of Harmony and The Knights of Harmony

Meromes didn't know how to make his Beast's to be immune to Harmonia's power. Meromes thought long and hard when he realized that a God can not hurt another God their for Harmonia would be defenseless against his beast's. Meromes summoned his only son and daughter to the holding place of his Monster's. He told both Discord and nightmare to give a small portion of there god power into ten of the beasts. They did what they were asked and gave the beast's their god power. Meromes being the most powerful gave the most to The rest of the beast, luckily sense his part of his god power's were in the beasts he knew they would only obey him and his kin. These beasts were not gods themselves meaning they can hurt a god but not be destroyed by one. Meromes wanted to test his new monster's power by sending them to Harmonia's castle.

    The attack on Harmonia's castle made many of man and pony to start fearing Meromes more. If Harmonia herself can't repel these monsters then no one can, ponykind can not fight as much as man can but they are still to weak to destroy these beasts. Harmonia beg to differ, she told her subjects that if Meromes wants to send monster's to do his work then we will play by his game and create our own beasts. The idea of Harmonia was not to make monsters of her power but to build them. Harmonia's subjects went to work on building these beasts while Harmonia would hold back Mermoes monster's. The humans were tasked on building the structure as the ponies were tasked in making and finding the strongest substance in all the land.

It took several year's to finish creating their six saviors. During the time of their making many cities and villages were lost to the onslaught  of both Meromes dark army and monster's. The Goddess tried her best to repel them but it wasn't enough their ability to with stand the Goddess's power proved to much. Still she would not give up nor would her subjects, Tho the fight with the monster's wounded Harmonia immensely, tho she would still fight, but she was to weak to be able to power up these created protector's.

Her subject's saw the turn about happen to their Goddess so they were able to diminish the power towards the protectors by making six pendants each able to power the protector knights. Harmonia decided that her advisers be the wearer of these pendants. She said only they could have the power to control the knights with that said Harmonia used the small amount of power she had left to engrave the pendants with the ability to power the knights but only her advisors were able to use them, nopony nor man knew why they only work on them or why Harmonia choose them. Harmonia said she had her reasons. Each adviser had the power to control their knight and display their own power. thus the elements of Harmony and the Knights of harmony were born. Each element had a name that Harmonia gave them. their was Honesty, Kindness, laughter, Generosity, loyalty, and Magic, these names represent Harmony.

The Knights were then used to fight back against the dark army and beast's of Meromes. Eventually Meromes was defeated and destroyed by not the knights themselves but by the users of the elements of Harmony. Harmonia felt pity towards her brother and decided that he would forever be in stone until he learns the meaning of harmony. He was put inside a mountain till then, in a lost location. As for the beasts Harmonia built a special place for them deep within a cave known as Tartarus sealing them away from harming anybody. From then on Harmonia protected the land along side her daughters and Cosmos.

"The children of Meromes disappeared after there father's defeat nobody knows what happened to them but it is said that they would aid in the escape of their Father the God of darkness".

"Thats all their is Do, after that the rest of the manuscripts are to old and smeared to translate", said a old pony with small grey goatee that was braided in a swirl.

"well I think we got enough out of these manuscripts, princess Celestia most know about them immediately", said a grey maned mare with a hat of a hunter.

"Right a way Do", said the old pony as he took out a quail and paper. "Done, want to me to send ti now Daring do",

"Yes send it please and just call me Do", asked Daring do as she watched the old pony run towards the entrance of the pyrimand.

"Uh Do!", yelled another pony from a distance making Daring Do quickly run towards her other comrade.

"Whats wrong", Daring said as she went in the next chamber, she stopped right next to her friend when she looked up towards the wall of the chamber that Daring do went in, now she noticed how huge in size the room was like if it was fit for a dragon but there was no dragon, what stood before her the thing that made her comrade call her were six tall structures each standing at least 150 feet tall of course that was just an estimation but these giant structures looked nothing like anything Daring do had seen or actually anypony had seen.

"The princess definitely needs to know about these stat".
