In a technologically advanced Equestria: Crystalline was a unicorn mare chosen to test the ESC's new Stasis technology (Equestrian Science Committee) After excitedly accepting and being put in stasis for a period of 25 years, she emerges from the shell. After she finds that the lab is empty, she uses her security clearance to make her way out of the underground laboratory… When she reaches the surface, a whole new world is shown to her, the Canterlot she once knew is now in ruins, every building is overgrown with plant life. Horrified by what she sees, she sets out to discover what happened while she was frozen in time.
