Over hundreds years before Nightmare Moon, Equestria is more worried than ever before about Dragons. Who continue to be a massive and terrible problem. The answer? Dragonslayers. The best of the best, the greatest and most elite. Those who can take down Dragons. Some, like Blood Tooth, Star Swirl the Bearded, and Wonder Volt, can fight them by working together in combat, and will become part of history. The only problem is that the dragons they are worried about are not the one's they should be concerned with, and only the relatively new Princess Celestia seems to know that.

When recruit War Bond has has an encounter with a massive and over-sized dragon, she soon finds that her whole life must change drastically after she finds out it fused their souls together. The Princess sets young War Bond out on an adventure to stop a dragon that wants to make the entire planet a dragon utopia... with no other creature to get in their way of living. She must find the Origins of Harmony, and the ancient creatures that hold them. However, the dragon in her mind seems to have other plans for the mare.
