//-------------------------------------------------------// Verbolton: Speed Demons of Equestria -by Brony Pacific 4023- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: The Adventure Begins //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: The Adventure Begins Chapter 1 It was a hot sticky day in July, and a boy named Zeke was just settling into a seat on Verbolten, a new launch coaster in Busch Gardens Williamsburg, he had just pulled down his restraint and was waiting patiently for the ride to start, just then the voice of a crazy women told the riders “remember, don’t look back as you brave the Black Forest,” the train then left the station and arrived at the launcher, it was then catapulted into a dark building where the coaster twisted and turned, in the building, lightning flashed and thunder cracked,  it eventually came to a stop on a section of track, Zeke covered his ears as he thought something was going to jump on the train, instead the track fell, Zeke felt his stomach lurch, the train then rolled off again, but something happened, a real bolt of lightning struck the train causing it to energize and opening a giant portal in space it was then sucked into a portal. In the portal the train came apart, cars separated and so did the seats, Zeke was left floating alone when the piece he was in began to expand in width and length, the restraint bar disappeared and the legroom expanded, he was soon sitting in a strange vehicle, he noticed the front had a bubble shape to it, he could not see the rest of it due to the shape, to rear view mirrors began to sprout from the sides and the glass lenses appeared forming from a liquid like substance, then the headlights snapped on and the engine roared to life, he threw it into gear and floored the gas pedal, the car shot forward with mighty roar, he swerved to the left and right as lightning bolts flashed, barely missing his roadster, he saw an opening in the portal and shot for it, the strange vehicle sped towards the opening. The car sped out of the portal’s exit and into a forest, Zeke slammed his foot on the brake and looked around nervously, he looked around for the something that could let him out of the car, he soon found a button that read open and pressed it, he watched in awe as the front end opened allowing to climb out, there is only one car that can do that, he thought as he stepped out of the car and walked around it, he gasped when he saw what the car was, he muttered, “no, it can’t be,” the car was electric blue with Wave Rippers on the side and had two white surfboards with hotrod flames, it’s chrome shone brightly in the moonlight, he walked towards the back to discover a big block turbo charged fuel injected Cadillac Northstar V8 engine humming in the back, he walked to the bed noticing a latch, he opened it find a spacious trunk, the car also had silver wheels with six holes with thin tires and blue racing seats “the Deora 2,” he said with an excited grin. He got back in the car the front closed, checked the wipers which were working properly, he then checked the turn signals and hazard lights, they worked, he then noticed the car also had a three point racing harness, he noticed a button on the side of the steering wheel, he pressed only for the car to suddenly jump and hover, “no way,” he said, he deactivated the jumpers and actually found the button for the Nitrox 2 boosters, as he was checking the car, he heard a growl, he looked around alarmingly, just then a monster jumped on the car’s roof glaring at him through the windshield, he flung the car into reverse and punched the pedal causing the beast to slip, he continued to back up before fastening his seat belt and jamming the gear into drive and flooring the gas pedal, the car shot forward knocking over the monster, he dared a glance into the rearview, the monster was right behind but was losing ground, more beasts jumped out, the car dodged and weaved as Zeke continued to look for a way out, he soon noticed the forest was clearing and sped out past a cottage, startling it’s owner awake. Fluttershy was sleeping peacefully in her bed, she sighed as she dreamt she was in a beautiful forest interacting with its animals, she was awoken by loud roar, the sound quickly disappeared, she went downstairs to see what happened, the animals were also as nervous “now, now there is nothing to be afraid of my dears,” she softly, she looked at the road next to her cottage noticing the strange tracks in the road I must tell my friends about this, she thought to herself. Zeke was now speeding down a road that ran through a lush grassy field, he noticed a town up ahead and began to rocket towards it, maybe I can get some help, at the speed he was doing he reached the town in no time, “I seem to be in somewhere Europe,” he said a loud noticing the buildings architecture style, he looked straight ahead to notice the building in the center, he braked hard and swerved, the Deora 2 spun out and stopped, he looked around shaken, he got out of the car and looked around, “seems everyone is asleep,” he said, got back in the car and decided to get some sleep himself, I will ask in the morning, he thought, little did he know he woken everyone up in the town, he killed the ignition and closed his eyes. As he was sleeping, a large group of ponies came out of the buildings, including Princess Twilight Sparkle, “what in Equestria?” she said as eyed the blue machine parked in front of her, it was a strange looking carriage, she got closer to the thing and read “Wave Rippers?” She read the title on the on the side,  then she walked towards the front and hovered to look at the roof of the carriage she read “Hot Wheels Highway 35?” She read the markings on the roof, “I must write to Princess Celestia,” she said. She looked inside and noticed the sleeping figure, "I must bring him inside," she said to herself. She used to her magic and watched stunned as the front of the carriage opened up with a soft but eerie whirring sound. She was impressed with the inside of the carriage, the seats, buttons, and the belts built into the seats. She gently picked up the sleeping figure and carried him to the library, she laid him in a bed in her guest room and went to write a letter. Zeke began to stir as he felt something on top of him that was soft and warm, he woke up he realized he was in a comfy bed, “where’s my car?” he said to himself. “Shhh, don’t be afraid dear,” came a soft motherly voice, Zeke jumped and looked up as giant vanilla ice cream colored alicorn stood over him with soft smile, the alicorn had a flowing mane of blue, green, violet, and pink that seemed to blow even though there was no wind, she wore a gold neck piece with a purple jewel situated in the middle, gold shoes on all four hooves, and a simple yet elegant gold crown, “let’s get you something to eat, then we will talk,” she said softly. Zeke nodded and followed the alicorn, “your “Wave Rippers” carriage is parked in front of the library in case you are wondering”, she took him to a window where the his Deora 2 was parked, the alicorn lead him down stairs where another alicorn, a purple one with a black, purple, and magenta mane tale greeted him. “Hi there, I’m Princess Twilight Sparkle,” she said sweetly. Zeke stared in disbelief, “I, I’m Zeke,” he said nervously. “Well hello Zeke, I’m princess Celestia, co-ruler of Equestria.” //-------------------------------------------------------// Capter 2: Test Drive //-------------------------------------------------------// Capter 2: Test Drive Chapter 2 Test Drive It was morning in the Crystal Empire and Shinning Armor and Princess Mi Armore Cadenza  had just woken up and were having breakfast when a guard came running in panting “Sir the Princess needs you in Ponyville, she says it is about strange looking carriage,” Shinning nodded “understood, thank you Lieutenant,” he said, he quickly teleported to Ponyville leaving Cadence confused. Zeke followed the two princesses down to the kitchen where he saw a purple and green lizard cooking breakfast, “who are you?” Zeke asked stunned, “I am Spike and I am a dragon, What are you?” “A human and my name is Zeke,” They sat down to eat when Zeke started explaining what had happened, where he was, the car that was parked outside, and about his world in general. They were about finish eating when they heard a roar from outside, Zeke ran to the window and stared in disbelief “how did they manage to start that car up,” “I do not know,” Twilight said. They ran out the door, while Princess Celestia tapped on the window of the car. Zeke stared in shock at the white unicorn sitting in his car, the unicorn looked back with the same expression. A couple of guards were examining the Deora 2, “wow, if only our carriages could look as cool as this,” he said, running his hoof over the smooth lines of the Deora 2 “I wonder what this Wave Rippers is supposed to be,” said the leader, “What about this “Hot Wheels Highway 35”, said another guard who was hover above eying the roof where the symbol was. Just then a flash of light appeared and out stepped Shining Armor, his mouth fell open at the sight of the Deora 2. Another guard gave the Deora a little buck only to hurt himself and cause the carriage to rattle “Ow!” he cried out “Aw come on, that was not even necessary,” cried another “Ahem,” Shining coughed, the guards quickly stood at attention “At ease guards,  please continue and try not to buck the carriage again,” he said He turned his attention back to the car “Whoa, I was not expecting the “strange carriage” to look like this,” he said, he galloped up to the parked vehicle, examining every inch of it from the engine, cockpit, surfboards, all the way to the tail lights and exhaust pipes, “It looks self propelled,” he said, using his magic he discovered a latch which he soon activated, he watched in awe as the front opened up revealing a spacious interior, he walked up and examined the inside, looking at the part that opened he noticed a wheel and set of what looked keys hanging from the side built in to the latch. He hoped in and the front closed, knowing how the entrance worked, he did not panic like he probably should have, he looked around for the keys and found once again, he tried to grab them with his hoof but could not grip them, he grumbled and carefully grabbed them with his magic suddenly realizing that they turned only forwards, out of curiosity he turned them all the way forward only to be greeted with shutter, a cough and then a roar, he jumped at this while everypony else ran away in fright, the noise settled down to a growl as the machine idled, he noticed everypony came back out to gaze at the machine, noticing the pedals he reached down as best he could and gave them a nudge, “VROOM!” the machine responded, he flinched but nudged them again and soon found himself giggling with excitement, “VROOM, VROOM, VROOM!” the engine roared, a sudden tap on the window snapped him out of his trance. His eyes opened wide as he saw his little sister, Princess Celestia and a strange bipedal figure with them. He looked at the keys and quickly turned them backwards shutting of the ignition, the front opened and he stepped out, his face was as red as a fire engine. “How did you manage to start it up,” the figure asked in awe, “Lucky guess,” Shining answered half truthfully. He looked at Zeke only to see him trying not to laugh but failing miserably at it. “What are you smiling at?” he asked, getting more and more embarrassed, “your face is redder than a Ferrari,” Zeke said. Shining now looked at him in a confused manner “I’ll explain later,” Zeke added. “I would like to see what it can do,” said Celestia. “Alright then,” said Zeke. He climbed into the driver’s seat and lowered the front of the Deora. He grasped the keys and gave the ignition a crank. Once again the car roared to life, he threw into gear and floored the gas pedal. Everypony looked on amazed as the carriage roared and sped away. Only to turn around for another pass. It screamed by, took a left turn, and sped away. Everypony watched open mouthed as the car, took another left turn an began doing laps around the library. Zeke, maneuvered the car with little difficulty around the sharp bends of the town, making sure none of the ponies got in his way. As he drifted the car around another turn he noticed a pink alicorn walk in front of him. He quickly honked the horn and watched as the alicorn looked at him eyes wide with terror. He quickly pressed the button for the jump jets. The Deora 2 sailed straight up over the alicorn, once he saw that she was safe. He deactivated the jump jets, the car landed with a thud and slid to halt. Just then a flash of light appeared and out stepped another alicorn, this one was bubblegum pink with a mixture of purple, magenta, and gold in her mane, she wore a small crown on her head, a gold necklace and gold shoes. As soon as she stepped into Ponyville, she heard a sound and saw a carriage speeding towards her. Her mouth fell open at the sight of the carriage, it was not being pulled by anything and was approaching rapidly. Her eyes along with everypony else’s opened in fear and terror when she and the other ponies saw it was about to collide with her. “HONK!” the carriage blared as it rocketed towards her. She quickly charged up her horn to defend herself, but before she could do anything the carriage lifted on its own, she and everypony else watched awestruck as the car sailed over her head noticing it was propelled by fire. Once it was clear, it landed with a thud, lost control and slid to halt. She quickly galloped over to the vehicle. Zeke shook his head dazed and confused, what happened? he thought. He looked in the review mirror, and saw the pink alicorn and the rest of the ponies galloping towards him. He carefully put the car in reverse and backed it up slowly, turning so it faced them. He shifted it into park, and got ready to climb out. Cadence walked up to the vehicle, she was more surprised than angry, she also knew it was her own fault that she got in the way, so she had no reason to blame the owner of the carriage. She heard a soft whirring sound and watched as the front of the car opened up and out stepped the driver. “Whoa,” is all she could say. //-------------------------------------------------------// Attention Readers, You Have Reached 300 MPH! //-------------------------------------------------------// Attention Readers, You Have Reached 300 MPH! HOLY F@#$!ing $*()! I have actually done something with this fic, okay so I could not figure out how to continue this story so I changed the vehicles and idea, instead of Corvettes all vehicles are going to be from Hot Wheels World Race and I plan on using all 35 vehicles and maybe even have some of the My Little Pony characters driving them. All vehicles will have their original markings and abilities from the movie, some vehicles may even have some added refinements so such as extra abilities maybe even the ability to shape shift into another form, for example Taro's 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner, Vert Wheeler's Deora 2, and Kurt Wylde's Slingshot might have refinements added to where they can morph their cars into their Acceleracer appearance, Slingshot might even have the Zed 36 form where it is black with red windows. If anyone has seen Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Markie's Stingray might even be able to fly like Lola from Agents Of S.H.E.I.L.D.. Now I might have some problems keeping up with thirty five cars at one time so bear with me here. I might have the real world in danger as well so expect some racing in different dimensions, if you have a specific track you would like to see, you can tell me I'll see what can be added. I am also doing because someone is already doing Acceleracers and no one has done Highway 35 so I decided to take matters into my own hands and show the ponies we all know and love the truly awesome power that we call Hot Wheels. Also instead just using the blue color for the Nitrox 2, I am going to have all the cars use their team colors instead, if you have ever seen Hot Wheels World Race you notice that the two CLYP drivers/Drone Racers their Nitrox color is almost a magenta or a light purple color, so with that, the Wave Rippers will remain in the orginal blue, Scorchers will be red, Dune Rats will be orange, Street Breed will be purple, and Road Beasts will be green.
