Tales of the Golden Age

Dear Reader,

Old mare’s tales, Folk stories, and dusty old myths. It has been barely a year since Nightmare Moon was defeated and Princess Luna returned. And ever since that day, legend, and myth, and boogie mare has popped out of the woodwork and taken hold in Equestria, even comic book character Mysterious Mare-Do-Well.

So, where does a blank flank colt like me fit in?

Well, I have spent majority of my life buried in the Royal Canterlot Archives. Morning, Noon and Night spent reading book after book but what I found most interesting were the legends of days gone by. My personal favorite had always been the Tales of the Chrystal Empire and now, I am riding on a train to see it for myself.

Over the next couple weeks, I am going to take my skills at reading and writing the ancient languages to translate and transcribe these old tales in hopes of learning a bit more about our past and a bit of what the future holds.
