At Canterlot high, it was a normal day. Students. Going around to there classes, or just relaxing when they get free periods.
Walking through the halls was a boy, he had green skin with red dirt hair, wearing some camo pants, a ruffled red shirt, some blue and white sneakers, and a grey jackot. On his right sleeve, there was a picture of some sort of blade swiping, leaving a trail behind it, on the other side was some huge metal shoulder pad, with what seemed to be a huge button in the middle.
As he walked down the halls, he saw the people hanging around the lockers. But when he turned the last corner he noticed a group of three girls, one was cyan with rainbow hair, a blue jacket, a white shirt with a picture of a cloud shooting a yellow, red and blue thunderbolt. Two coloured bands, a pink and white skirt, wearing rainbow socks and blue shoes, holding a soccer ball.
The second was white with huge purple curly hair with some blue beads shapes like three diamonds in them, a light blue shirt, a black belt with a light blue buckle, two golden bands. A light purple skirt with three diamonds on it, and two long purple shoes with diamonds at the top.
The last one was a tan orange with blonde hair, wearing a brown steston, with a green and white shirt, a blue jean type of skirt, wearing two brown boys with three apples on each of them.
He easily recognised these girls as his friends, he soon walked up to them as they were talking. The three soon noticed him and waved to him.
"Hey Green!" They all said.
"Hey girls." He said as he joined there group.
"So what's up?" The cyan girl asked.
"Eh, bit much really." He said, he then heard his phone buzzing and took it out. He read the message and then announced it.
"Looks like Twilight's home sick."
"Oh the poor dear, is she alright?" The white girl asked.
"Yeah, she says she'll be back in a few days, after she gets over her flu." Green said putting the phone away.
"So where's Pinkie and Fluttershy?" Green asked.
"No idea." The orange one said.
"Ah well, we'll find them eventually." Green said, the three girls nodded.
They soon started to walked through the hallways, talking and discussing stuff. But as they walked straight by the front door. Green noticed something, he saw some sort of crown pop out of the statue, his curiosity took over.
"Green, ya okay?" The orange girl asked.
"Yeah I'm fine Applejack, I just gotta check on something. I'll catch up with you girls soon." He said as he walked out of the door, Applejack and the other two girls just shrugged it off and continued on with there walk.
Meanwhile, Green slowly walked up to the statue and kneeled down to the crown and picked it up, examining it. And was shocked to see that the star emblem represented the mark and Twilight's usual skirt.
Then a girl popped out of the statue. He tried to see who It was but the sun blinded him from seeing what she looked like.
"Out of the way dork!" She said as she pushed him into the statue,causing the crown he was holding to fly off . But to Green's surprise, he didn't fly into stone, he flew into the statue. He was soon in a weird vortex were he felt like his body was changing.
Meanwhile in Equestria
The mane six and Spike were filled with frustration as they let the thief get away, they were about to walk away, but a pony fell out of the window, he was a green pony with red mane and tail, with a blade swishing down as a cutie mark. And a weird shoulder pad with a metal button. They all recognised the earth pony stallion immediately.
"Green Key!?" They all asked, just as the stallion started to wake up.
The mane six had known this stallion for a while, he was already in Ponyville before Twilight came along, and most ponies knew him. But they still never knew what his shoulder pad was for, no pony did, but he said it was to personal to reveal, so it was left alone.
He was a pony who seemed to be Quiet, not very wise. But still strong and dependent and someone who you could lean your shoulder on in difficult time. Although he wasn't perfect, he was still a good friend.
But they had revealed secrets from him that were very shocking. First was a few days after Nightmare Moon's defeat, he actually made some video games for the computer as a hobby. They tried it and they seemed to be pretty good games.
The next was after Discords defeat. They discovered that he plays paintball, and even has a specialised paintball pistol, Rainbow Dash automatically challenged him to a one on one match for 25 bits. Green says it was the easiest 25 bits he ever earned.
Applejack knew him better then the rest, he had got a job at Sweet Apple Acres, and turned out to be a pretty good farm hoof. He had also helped her family at dark times, like Applebloom when she thought she would never get her cutie mark. Or when Granny Smith lost the Zap Apples recipe.
She remembered a sleepover at truth or dare that she was asked who she would go out with, and she said Green. She wondered of she should date him, she's never dated before because of the Stallions in Ponyville ether only wanted her body or weren't interested at all.
But back to now, Green slowly got up and looked at his hoof, and to the mane six surprise, he freaked out.
"Gah! Why do I have a hoof!?" He asked.
"What's with him?" Dash asked Applejack.
"No idea, Ah thought Green was back at tha farm." She said.
Green examined himself further.
"Why am I a pony!?" He asked, he then noticed the six others in the room.
"What the heck!?" He said as he jumped back.
"Calm down Green" Twilight said.
"Who are you!?" He asked, he was so confused as to were he was, why he was a pony, and why these ponies look so much like his friends.
"Look, were as confused as you. Lets ask the Princesses." Twilight said, Green was now scared.
"Princesses!?" He asked, confused.
Applejack decided to end this and help Green out she walked up to him and placed a hoof on his right shoulder.
"Green, calm down. Take deep breaths. It's me, Applejack, so just calm down." She said, Green looked into her eyes and knew that this was Applejack. He started to breath deeper and calmed down, But was confused, why was she here.
"Applejack, why are we ponies?" He asked.
"Well ah've been a pony mah whole life Sugarcube. Ah don"t know what's happening ether. Lets just go to Celestia." She said, Green then asked.
"Principle Celestia?" He asked.
"Eh, it's Princess Here Sugarcube." She said.
Soon the seven and Spike walked into the throne room, With green falling every time until he got it right. where Celestia, Luna And Candance were.
"My student, what are you doing up, and who is this?" Celestia asked.
"This is Green Key Princess. And he fell through a strange mirror right after we chased a thief who was stealing my crown. Who herself jumped into the mirror." Twilight said.
"What did this thief look like?" Celestia asked.
She was a unicorn, light orange, red and yellow mane and tail. Light blue eyes, and had a fire for a cutie mark." Twilight said.
Celestia's eyes widened as she lowered her head. Green's mind also went into overload.
"I should of known she'd came back." Celestia said.
"Who Princess?" Dash asked.
"Sunset Shimmer, a former student of mine. She began her studies with me not long before Twilight. When she not got what she wanted as quickly as she liked. She turned cruel and dishonest. I tried to help her, but she eventually decided to abandon her studies and pursue her own path. One that has sadly lead her to stealing your crown."
Sunset Shimmer was here?.
"And cause hell for me and my friends." Green Key spike out, everyone looked at him in shock.
"What do you mean?" Celestia asked.
"Ever since she arrived at Canterlot high, she has bullied and teased nearly everyone, heck, some people are scared of her." Green Key said.
Celestia sighed. "I am sorry for the pain that she has caused you." She said to Green Key.
"It's not your fault princi- I mean Princess Celestia!" Green said correcting himself.
"She tried to replace Twilight's with this." Spike said bringing out the fake crown. Celestia looked over it while Greens mind acted up again.
So that's what spike would sound like...I wonder if he still likes Winona here? And If so, is she a lizard?
"I suppose Sunset Shimmer thought she wouldn't notice right away this was not yours. And by the time you did, it would already be to late to go after your crown and element of Harmony." Celestia said as she started to walk, with Twilight soon following.
"But, I don't understand. Where did she go? Where did she take the crown?" By then, the other two princesses and the rest of the mane 6, including Spike and Green. Started to follow them.
"You will soon now more about this place then even I do. although Green here probably knows more." Celestia said looking at me.
"Well I've lived there my whole life so probably." Green said.
They ponies soon returned to the mirror room, Princess Luna spoke up.
"This is no ordinary mirror. It is a gateway to another world. A gateway that opens once every thirty moons." Luna said, right before Pinkie touched it.
"Sparkly!" She said, Princess Luna rolled her eyes and used her magic to mover the hoof away. Greens then thought.
She is defiantly the pony version of Pinkie Pie
" it has always been kept in the throne room of Canterlot Castle. But when Princess Candance took over the crystal empire we sent it here for her to watch over."
Princess Celestia sighed and then walked up to the mirror.
"I had always hoped that Sunset Shimmer would one day use it to return. To come back to Equestria seeking my guidance..."
Trust me, she will need more then your guidance Green thought.
"...obviously, this is not what has happened." Celestia finished.
"Twilight...you must use the mirror to go into this other world, and retrieve your crown. Without it, the other elements of harmony have no power and Equestria is left without one of its most important means of defence." Princess Cadance said as Twilight walked towards the mirror.
"And Green Key, you must assist her in her search. You know this world better then any of us do. And don't let the other version of Twilight run into her, this will cause grave consequences." Princess Luna said to Green, he then started towards the mirror. But then stopped.
"Wait, does that mean there's another version of me here?" He asked.
"Eeyup, ya work on mah farm." Applejack said.
"Ah alright. Don't worry vice-pri- i mean Princess Luna. I gotta stop doing that. Besides, Twilgihts home sick anyway. we can act like she didn't have flu, she just had a little cold that blew off." Green said. Princess Luna nodded.
"That is a clever plan Green Key."
"Please just Green." I said. Princess Luna then started to talk to Twilight again.
"Your crown does not belong in the place Sunset Shimmer now calls home. And in her possession, your element of Harmony will no doubt be used to bring harm to the inhabitants of this other realm. They will not have the power to defend themselves." Luna said, this Green mentally Chuckled about.
There is one thing that can defend our school. Green though again, as he looked to his shoulder pad. He then saw some saddle bags being out on Twilight.
"Do you understand the importance of your task?" Celestia asked Twilight.
"Of coarse." She said back to her mentor,
"Good, now you must go at once." Celestia said, Twilight looked at the mirror, then looked at Green who nodded. She took a deep breath and they both started to walk.
One step before Rainbow Dash landed right in front of her.
"Wow, wow, wow. She's goin', were goin' with her. Right girls?" Dash said as the rest of the mane six lined up with her, and Pinkie then Squeed.
"Oooooh, I'm so nervixited." Green smeared she just mixed two words together.
"You do realise that's not a real word right?" Applejack asked, confirming Green's suspicions. Twilight smiled at her friends determination and loyalty. Green smiled with them, then Celestia walked up from behind.
"I'm afraid I can't let you go." She said with a saddened tone.
"What!? Why not!?" Dash asked, then Green spoke up.
"Because the rest of my friends are at school today so there is no doubt that at least one of you will run into them, causing the consequences that Luna mentioned earlier. I mean, sure once this is all over, Twilight here can tell you all about it, that for some reason won't cause anything. But directly meeting each other will cause some trouble." Green finished.
"Time is also of the essence. One the third day, when the moon reaches its peek in the night sky, the gateway will close. And once it does, it will be another thirty moons until you can return." Luna said, showing us a vision of what it will look like.
Once Luna finishes, her friends cheer for her as she walks closer to the mirror , followed by Green. She touches it with her hoof then moves back, she looks at Celestia who nods. Twilight then walks through the mirror. Just before Green could react or follow, Spike rushed towards the mirror. The mane six all tried to stop him and each yelled 'Spike!'
He then reached the mirror and ran through it. Green just groaned and face hoofed.he then looked at the rest of the ponies and nodded. He got nods back as he stepped through the gateway.
Twilight, Spike and Green all yelled as they were dragged through and started changing.
Back on Earth
Green was the first to get up, he looked to see he was in his old body again, he sighed in relief to be in his old body again. He stood up and stretched his muscles.
"Ah...good to be back." He said, he then noticed a knocked out purple human and purple dog. Both unconscious, but Spike was starting to wake up, he then looked at himself.
"Why am I a dog!?" He asked, Green laughed a little bit, but Twilight then started to wake.
"Urgh...Spike? Why are you a dog?" Twilight asked.
"I'm not sure, but I don't know what you are." Spike said, Twilight then looked at her hands and screamed. Green stopped laughing, ran over and covered Twilight's mouth.
"Twilight, don't make us suspicious." Green said, he stopped covering her mouth as she looked at her body. Then at Green
"Green Key, what am I?" She asked.
"A homo-." Green said, Twilight's eyes widened.
"WHAT!?" She asked, thinking Green insulted her.
"-sapien. You didn't let me finish." Green said, Twilight quickly blushed and looked away in embarrassment.
"Never speak of this again." She said.
"Agreed." Me and Spike said.
"Alright, now Twilight, unlike back there. You walk on you two feet here. I'll help you out." Green said as he lifted Twilight up onto her feet, she stumbled around until she finally got balance.
"This is hard, how do you do it?" Twilight asked Green.
"I learned, like every other toddler." Green said, Twilight just looked at him with confusion. Green then realised this Twilight had no idea what they were.
"Ah, like Foals in your world."
Twilight then understood.
"Now come on, lets head inside." Green said as he walked inside, Twilight struggled to follow, but Spike seemed to be fine walking. As they walked, Twilight asked a Question.
"Has Sunset Shimmer ever done anything to my friends- I mean yours?" She asked.
"Yeah, she always somehow hacks there email and phones, and sends them fake messages. They then get angry with each other, and I have to solve it by gathering them all up, and talking it out to see what was going on. Sunset still tries but my friends are falling for them less and less now." Green explained. Twilight was in shock.
"Wow, your pretty smart." She said.
"No, not really. I barely remember anything." Green replied
As the got to the doors, Twilight stood there, trying to use her magic. Green just raised his eyebrows as he opened the door.
"Um, what are you trying to do?" Green asked. Twilight opened her eyes and saw she didn't open the door.
"How did that not work?" She asked.
"Well, you don't exactly have your horn." Spike said, Twilight then freaked out and tried to find her horn.
"We really need to find you a mirror." Spike said as he walked in, Green nodded.
Soon Twilight followed and the three looked around the main lobby.Twilight saw the trophy case, and walked over to it. Looking at the trophies as Spike followed.
"What do you think Spike. Other artefacts she's taken from Equestria?". She said as she looked at the trophies, Green walked up behind her.
"Um, Twilight. These are trophies the schools sports teams have won." I said, causing her to blush a bit, but then looked at her own reflection in the mirror, and looked at her new self.
"What, am I?"
"Like i said, Homo Sapien, or Human in a more simple term." He said.
Twilight nodded, then asked me a Question.
"Say, what time is it?" She asked.
Soon the school bell went off, only one thought entered Green's mind.
Uh oh.
