My little mobian: emeralds are magic!

Now, as you remember, I'm at the Summer Sun Celebration in Ponyville, I have meet six interesting ponies and a dragon, I am now being held in magic by Nightmare Moon who vows eternal night for all of Equestria. Got that down? Good.

Now, what would a mobian hedgehog who's the son of the ultimate lifeform, has been taught how to use the chaos powers and strength? Well, I'll say it won't be to good of Nightmare Moon. But before I could do anything, the mayor shouted.

"Sieze her! Only she knows where Princess Celestia is!" Wait, there were guards here, then why didn't they Do anything sooner!?

"Stand back you fools!" Nightmare Moon yelled at the guards flying towards her and me. She laughs as some thunder knocks them back, and teleports the next level higher.

"Alright Nightmare, you messed with the wrong hedgehog!" I yelled as I chaos controlled out of her grip and end up right behind her.

"Chaos spear!" I yelled as I unleashed some chaos energy from my right hand, causing Nightmare Moon to scream in agony and pain, right before I chaos controlled again to her left and kicked her in the back of the head. I chaos controlled again to her right where I punched her in the face.

But before I could chaos control again, she turned into some mist and sped through the and out the door. I chaos controlled myself back down to ground level, I looked at all the ponies whose jaws where dropped. Except for Applejack, she was still holding Rainbow down.

"What?" I asked and shrugged. Right then ponies started to panic and flee, just as Applejack couldn't hold onto Rainbow anymore and had to let her go. Rainbow flies out to chase the mist, while I walked over to her and offered to help her up.

"You alright?" I asked, Applejack just looked at me with a dropped jaw.

"Ya just took on a powerful alicorn and ya ask if ah'm ok!?"

"Are you?" I ask, she takes my hand as I help pull her up.

"Yeah, ah'm fine, what about you!?" She asked.

"I'm alright Applejack, not even a scratch." I said, she just sighed and facepalmed-facehoofed? I didn't know.

"Ya sure are one idiot."

"Eh? I try." I said as I noticed Twilight and a now conscious Spike run out of the building.

"Come on, lets go!" I said to her, she whistled and got the other girls attention, I signalled them to follow me as I skate out of the building, I look behind to see them following me.

I see the library but I also see Rainbow fly into it.

I soon get to the door and wait for the others to catch up, once they door, I open the door to see Rainbow Dash walking towards Twilight while she walks back.

"Just what are the elements of harmony!? And how did you know about Nightmare Moon huh? Are you a spy?" Applejack quickly comes in and stops dash by pulling on her tail, she let go'd and sighed.

"Simmer down Sally, she ain't no spy. But she sure knows what's going on. Dontcha Twilight." She said, as we slowly walked up to Twilight and all looked at her, but before Twilight could respond, Dash spoke up.

"Wait, what about Blade? He came here with Twilight, shouldn't he know to?" They others also looked at me.

"Actually, I never heard the elements of harmony, and I only heard the Name Nightmare Moon, not what she actually is." I said, the others ' ahh'd ' and then looked at Twilight again, who closed her eyes and confessed.

"I read all about the prediction on Nightmare Moon, that mysterious elements called the elements of harmony are the only thing that can stop her. But I don't know what they are, or where to find them. Or what they even do!" She said, I think she's looking at the moon now based on where she's looking.

"The elements of harmony. A reference guide." Pinkie stated as she looked at a book, Twilight quickly ran over an head butted Pinkie out of the way. For some reason making a 'boing' sound.

"How did you find that!?" Twilight asked.

"It was under 'E'" Pinkie said, of coarse!

"Oh, Twilight said right before using her magic to pull the book out of the shelf.

"There are seven elements of harmony, but only six are known. Kindness, Laughter, generosity, honesty, loyalty and courage. The seventh is a complete mystery. Unfortunately, the last time they were used, courage seemed to disappear, it is unknown if it is still in Equestria or not. It is said the last known location of the five elements was in the ancient castle of the royal pony sisters. It is located in what is now, the Everfree Forest" Twilight finished, the five other ponies began to look a little scared.

But soon we found ourselves in front of the Everfree forest. It seemed to be dark, and mysterious. I think the girls were shaking a bit, maybe, but maybe not.

"Weee! Lets go!" Pinkie said as she started to walk in.

"Not so fast." Twilight said.

"Look, I appreciate the offer. But I'd really rather do this on my own." She finished.

"No can do Sugarcube. We sure aren't going to let any friend of ours in that creepy place alone. We're sticking to you like caramel on a candy apple." She said, as the rest of us started to move in. The others girls all agreed.

I then thought to myself, if Nightmare Moon finds out about the chaos emeralds, and defeats me, she become invincible. Maybe If I give each to the girls one, then they'll be more safe. I guess I may as well.

"Especially if there's candy apples in there!" Pinkie said.

Silence from Twilight

"What? Those things are delicious."

A few steps ahead and I decided to give the girls one emerald.

"Um girls, can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked them, they all stopped and looked at me.

"Sure, what's up?" Rainbow asked.

"Well" I started as I pulled out the white emerald to show them.

"I have seven of these emeralds. All different colours, I need one of you to each hold one." I said.

"What are these lovely gems darling?" Rarity asked as she started at the emerald in my hand.

"These are...family treasures. I just don't want Nightmare to get her ha-hooves on them, in case she gets me a second time, and I can't break out again." I said, Fluttershy looked at me in shock.

"A-and your trusting us?" Fluttershy asked.

"We'll, in the short time I've known you all. I see you are ponies that I can trust. So please, just hold onto one emerald each for me." I asked, they looked at each other, apart from Twilight and nodded. I looked at Twilight who grunted and nodded to.

So I gave the white one the Rarity, Purple on the Twilight, the light blue to Dash, the yellow to Fluttershy, the red to Applejack,and the green to Pinkie while I held onto the Blue one.

So we continued walking, then Twilight asked a question.

"So, you girls have never been in here before?"

"Heavens no. Just look at it, it's dreadful." Rarity said

"And it ain't natural. Folks say it don't work the same as Equestria."

"What's that supposed to mean?" She asked.

"No pony knows." Rainbow said, trying to scare Pinkie, Fluttershy and Rarity.she started to crawl to them closer in a creepy fashion.

"You know why?" Rainbow asked.

"Rainbow, quit it." Applejack said.

"Because everypony whose every come in. never...comes...OUT!" She shouted, causing the ground we were standing on the break, everyone and me but Rainbow and Fluttershy. Who quickly swooped down and picked up Pinkie and Rarity.

I chaos controlled next to the two flying ponies as Applejack held onto Twilight's hooves. I then heard there talk.

"Let go." Applejack said.

"Are you crazy?"

"No I ain't. Ah promise ya'll be safe."

"That's not true!"

"Now listen here. What ah'm saying to you Is the honest truth.let go, and ya'll be safe." I saw Twilight seemed to calm down a bit, before letting go.

She screamed as she fell, right until Fluttershy and Rainbow caught her. Fluttershy almost dropping Twilight.

"Oh, sorry girls. I'm just not used to lifting heavy things."

I say Applejack jump down on the side cliffs until she reached the ground. I had already touched the ground as well.

"Thank you Applejack." Twilight said as she rushed over and hugged her.

"Ah, don't mention it Sugarcube." She said.

We then continued, Twilight asked me a question.

"Hey Blade, how did you make it of that cliff?or a better question, how did you teleport out of Nightmare Moon's magic?" She asked.

"I have a certain power, it's called chaos control. My father had it so it was passed on down to me. It means I can teleport to sort distance areas and usually only by myself, it takes out a lot of energy out of me. So it needs time to recharge. I've had to use it more then once on certain occasions." I finished, the girls seemed a bit shocked. but soon accepted it.Then Rainbow kept on bragging about saving Twilight, until she spoke up.

"Yes Rainbow, I was there, now can we-" she was cut of as something big was i front of us, it had a lions had, bat like wings and a scorpion tail.

"Manticore! We gotta get past it!" Twilight said.

It tried to get Rarity first, but instead got kicked in the nose by Rarity.

"Take that you ruffian!" Rarity yelled, right before the manticore roared in her face, making her look kinda like Twilight's when we ran into Rainbow.

"My hair!" She said right before running off. I the noticed Applejack on top of its head.

"YEEHAW, giddy up little doggy!" She said as it jumped around, I swear I kept on hearing a little 'wait'.

But back on topic, Applejack was still on its head until he threw her off. I was eating ready to use a chaos spear but before I could, Applejack landed on top of me. I found myself with her on my chest.

"Ow." I said, I swear I saw her blushed as she looked away.

"Sorry partner." She said to me as she got off of me, allowing me to get up. I then saw a Rainbow tornado circle around the manitcore, until it stopped as Rainbow had hot its tail.

"Rainbow!" Twilight said as she almost hit the ground but I was able to catch her in time. We all then stared at the manticore, getting ready to make a charge. And as we did, Fluttershy came out of nowhere and shouted.

"WWAAAAAAIIIIITTTT!"

We all slowed down and stopped, Fluttershy turned around and walked very close to the Manticore. So close that it looked like it was about to attack, we all covered our eyes. Until we heard Fluttershy saying.

"There, there." We all looked as Fluttershy seemed to touch its left paw, the manticore himself raised it, then showed her the...giant thorn in his paw. Again, will not understand this world.

"Oh, you little baby she said."

"Little" rainbow asked. If that's the baby, I want to stay away from the parents.

"This might hurt for just a second." Fluttershy said said as she pulled it out, the Manticore Screamed and picked her up.

"Fluttershy!" We all yelled, I got a chaos Spear ready, the yellow electricity around me hand again. But then it started to like her mane and she smiled. I stopped charging the chaos spear right away.

"Oh, your just big little kitty aren't you?" She said to the manticore as we put on smiles and walked past it, but Twilight and I stayed back.

"How did you know about the thorn?" Twilight asked.

"I didn't, maybe all he needed to be shown was little kindness." Fluttershy said with her mane now sticking in the air.

But after that, and catching up with the rest.

"Ehh.my eyes need a rest from all this icky muck." Rarity said.

It suddenly started to get a bit darker.

"Who knows where we are, the ancient castle could be right in front of our faces and not even know it." Twilight said, the other girls started to talk until Applejack said something I could understand.

"Uh, Twi. Ah think Ah stepped in something."

Fluttershy then screamed.

"It's just mud." Applejack said right before bumping into a tree...with possibly the stupidest face on it. Although Applejack found it scary as she jumped back. I then noticed that all the other trees seemed to have familiar faces as well. I just started bored...until the girls screamed and huddled together. I sighed and face palmed, we then all heard Pinkie laughing. She even began to impersonate one. Then started to laugh again.

"Pinke! What are you doing? run!?"...from trees that can't move at all...

"Oh girls. Don't you see?" Why do I hear music?

"When I was a little filly, and the sun was going down."

"Tell me she's not..." Twilight said. Wish I could. Pinkie suddenly appeared upside down...what?

"The darkness and the shadows, always made me frown."

"She is" Rarity said with a sigh

“I'd hide under my pillow from what I thought I saw, but Granny Pie said that wasn't the way to deal with fears at all.”

“Then what is?” Rainbow asked.

“She said: "Pinkie, you gotta stand up tall, Learn to face your fears, you'll see that they can't hurt you, just laugh to make them disappear." Ha! Ha! Ha!”

Soon one of the faces disappeared much to our shock, and caused the girls to gasp, but then they each went up to a tree and started to laugh, Heck,even I did and it worked. This songs ain't that bad.

“So, giggle at the ghostly, guffaw at the grossly, Crack up at the creepy, whoop it up with the weepy, Chortle at the kooky, snortle at the spooky,and tell that big dumb scary face to take a hike and leave you alone and if he thinks he can scare you then he's got another thing coming and the very idea of such a thing just makes you wanna" Pinkie then started laugh until she said one last word, making the rest of the faces go away.

"Laaaaaaauuugh!”

As soon, as soon as she finished, this caused all the girls and me to start laughing on the ground. Then we continued forward still laughing until Pinkie stopped causing the girls to all stop behind her, but I wasn't so I slipped and fell into the water.

"Blade!" I heard Pinkie yell, I quickly chaos controlled back to where the girls, were, soaking wet. But surprising, I just laughed and shook the water off.

"How are we gonna get across this?" Pinkie asked, we then heard someone crying in the distance, it was a purple serpent with orange hair. And what looked like a half moustache.

"What a world! What a world!" He said smashing the water.

"Excuse me sir. Why are you crying?" Twilight asked, he swam towards us and started explaining.

"Well, I don't know. I was just sitting here, minding my own business when this tiny little cloud of purple smoke whisked pass me and tore half of my beloved moustache off. Clean off! And now, I look deadly horrid." Form the looks at what this guys did, he might make a prettier good tragedy actor. But not the splash of water that cover us all in water. Them once, twice for me.

"Oh give me a break." I heard rainbow said.

"That's, what all the fuss is about?" Applejack asked

"Why of coarse it is!" Gah! Where do Rarity come from?

"How can you be so insensitive? Oh, just look at this. What lovely, lumonis scales!" Rarity said. Causing the serpent to sniffle then say.

"I know."

"Extra quite mane."

"I know, I know." The serpent said rushing a hand through hair.

"Your fabulousing managed."

"I know."

"And it's all to waste without your fabulous moustache." Rarity said.

Since when did huge moustache's become fabulous. The last guy on möbius with a moustache tried to take over the world so many times.

"True! I'm hideous" the serpent said.

"I simply cannot let this crime against fabulousity go uncorrected!" Rarity said. As she pulled off one of the serpents scales from his chin.

"Ow!" The serpent said as Rarity made it sharp, I could see it shimmer in the light for some reason.

"Rarity, what are you-" she dropped her jaw and so did all the others, mine did to, did Rarity just cut her tail off? She then threw the scale away and grabbed her cut off tail and stuck it onto the serpents right cheek, competing his moustache. He looked at it and was happy with glee.

"You look smashing." Rarity said.

"Oh Rarity, your beautiful tail!" Twilight said.

"Oh it's alright dear, generosity comes first. Besides, it'll grow back" Rarity said, twilight smiled, as did I.

"So will the moustache?" Dash said, I rolled my eyes at her comment. I then notice the rivers gone down.

"Come one everypony, we can cross now." Twilight said, I followed suit, right before the Serpent lifted his body up.

"Allow me." He said as we hopped across and onto the other side, we thanked him then went one ahead.

As we walked down the path, I looked around, everything seemed to be perfect...to perfect. Then we hear a growl and stop in our tracks.

"W-what was that?" Rarity asked.

That was answered right as six...things came out, they looked like wolves but were made out of wood.

"Timberwolves!" Applejack shouted, the girls started to hid but I stood my ground.

"What are you doing Blade!? Hid!" I heard Rainbow said, but I ignored her advice and started to talk.

"Alright, I'll give you guys a chance to not do this and leave." I said, the timberwolves still stand there growling, they seemed tone slowly approaching me.

"Okay, but I warned ya!" I said as I jumped in the air and did a homing attack on three timberwolves, making them turn into twigs. The last three just turned around and tried to attack again. I just kicked the first one, punched the second and waited for the third to come. But instead in turned around and ran  for the girls in the bush.

"Oh no you don't!" I yelled, I chaos controlled right In-between the wolves and the girls, I delivered a quick blow to his head and smashed him into pieces.

Once I was done, the girls all came up to make sure I was fine.i kept on telling you them I was, and they kept asking.

"How did you do that?" Twilight asked.

"Why years of training from my dad and...well, courage I guess." I said to her, she smiled at me.

After that, we followed the path until I could see in the distance, the ruins of a castle.

"We made it!" Twilight said as she rushed forward.

"Twilight, wait up!" Applejack said.

"We're almost there, just a few-" she was cut off as she almost nearly fell, thankfully, Rainbow pulled her out in time.

"What's the deal with falling off cliffs today?" Rainbow asked. As she and Twilight joined us.

"Now what?" Pinkie asked.

"Duh." Dash said twitching her wings before taking off.

"Oh yeah." Pinkie said, as Dash flew down the cliff and flew to the other side.

We waited a few minutes, but it seemed way to long to tie a bridge up.

"Rainbow! What's taking so long?" I then noticed the three Pegasus in uniforms talking to her.

"Uh no." Twilight said as I swear, the head Pegasus eyes glowed and clouds blocked our view. "Rainbow, don't listen to them

"I go check in her." I said as my hover shoes turned on and I hovered through the clouds to the other side.

Once I appeared through the clouds, I head Dash saying "you", making the head Pegasus grin. Oh no.

"Thank you, for the offer I mean." Wait, what?

Dash then finished tying the bridge.

"I'm afraid I have to say no." She said as she took off, she then spotted me, hover there with a smile.

"Nice job Rainbow." I said, she smiled back as we both headed back. As we arrived. We we're congratulated on our efforts as we crossed the bridge.

"See, I'd never leave my friends hanging." Rainbow said.

We soon walked through the door of the castle, and in it, a saw about five stones with different markings on them, and a huge orb in the middle.

"This is it. Isn't this what you wanted?" Applejack asked.

"The elements of harmony, we found them!" Twilight said as Rainbow and Fluttershy both grabbed them and placed them on the ground.

"Careful." Twilight said.

"One, two, three, four...five! There's only five!" Pinkie said.

"It said, that the sixth will be reveal once a spark join the other five."

"But wait, what about courage? Isn't that in another world?" I asked, Twilight knew I was right and lowered her head.

"I don't know what we can do about that. But lets try with what we do have!" Twilight said, I nodded with a smile.

"But what in the hay is the spark thingy supposed to mean?" Applejack asked.

"I'm not sure, but I have an idea. Stand back, I don't know what will happen." She said, we all stepped back as Twilight's horn began to glow.

"Come on out y'all, she needs to concentrate." Applejack said, we all followed her as we closed the door.

Then as I got out, Applejack asked me a question.

"Blade, what are these?" She asked pulling out her emerald, the others pulled there's out aswell.

"I told you, there-"

"Enough With the family treasure stuff. Ah can tell ya lying by a mile away." Darn...I guess I have no choice bit to tell them.

"Alright. These are actually called chaos emeralds. There powerful artefacts back at home, they can cause creation, or destruction. Peace or war. It depends who uses them and how they use it." I said.

"So these things are, like magical?" Rainbow asked.

"Kinda, they have unlimited energy, and can boost my chaos control. For example, If I had one, I could go anywhere on in the world, two, I could probably take on of you with me, three, take two do you. And on and on until seven." I said, before I could explain more, we heard a yell.

"Twilight!" We said as we put the Emeralds away and charge in, only to find Twilight and the elements missing.

"Where is she?" I asked, we frantically looked around until Rarity said.

"Look, over there!" We rushed over to see light coming from a different building.

"Come on y'all!" Applejack said, right as we ran out, but I got an idea.

"Wait!" I said, they stopped in there tracks.

"What!?" Rainbow asked.

"Give me the emeralds!" I said, they looked confused.

"But-"

"Just do it!" I said, they finally gave me all there emeralds, I held them out as they floated above our heads.

"Chaos Control!" I shouted, soon we where caught in a blind light. Once it was over, we stood right behind Twilight who was sulking as Nightmare Moon stood proud over some rock shards.

"Twilight!" we all yelled she looked back at us, and I say a spark in her eyes. She smiled and turned to face Nightmare Moon.

"You think you can destroy the elements of harmony, just like that!?" She said as we grabbed our emeralds and put them away.

"Well your wrong, because the spirits of the element of harmony are right here!" She said with us standing Behind her. Just then, another stone appeared, it seemed to have a picture of an emerald on it.

"What!? I thought I sent that element away?" Nightmare moon said.

I saw the shards of rocks and remembered the elements before. So I quickly three a chaos spear, causing it to shatter.

The shards began to glow and vibrate as they were lifter up.

"What?" Nightmare Moon said

"Applejack, who reassured me when I was in doubt, represents the spirit...of Honesty!"

Shards started to surround Applejack.

"Fluttershy, who tamed the manticore with her compassion, represents the spirit of...Kindness!"

Shards began to surround her.

"Pinkie Pie, who banished by giggling in the face of danger, represents the spirit of...laughter!"

Shards formed around Pinkie to.

"Rarity, who helped a sorrowful serpent with a meaningful gift, represents the spirit of...generosity!"

Shards sorry dead her.

"Blade, who fought the timberwolves in order to keep us safe, represents the spirit of...the lost element, Courage!"

Shards started to form around me.

"And Rainbow Dash...who could not Abandon her friends for her own heart desire, represents the spirit of...Loyalty!"

The final shards formed around her.

"The spirit of these five ponies and one hedgehog got us threw every challenge you threw at us!"

"You still don't have the sixth element! The spark didn't work!" Nightmare Moon said.

"But it did...a different kind of spark...I felt it the very moment I realised, how happy I was to hear you...to see you...the spark ignited inside of me...when I realised you all... Are my friends!" Twilight said, I smiled at her, it also seemed like the seventh element was forming.

"You see Nightmare Moon...when those ignited by the...the spark that resides in all of our hearts, it creates the seventh element...the element of magic!" Twilight yelled, I fell like I was fly, I also felt some sort of necklace form around me. Soon, a rainbow appeared from our elements, and headed straight towards Nightmare Moon.

"No...NO!" I heard her voice say right until we stopped glowing and floating, and fell down to the ground.

I could barely see, everything was blurry. But I did hear my friends voices.

"Oh my head."

"Is everypony ok?"

"Oh! Thank goodness!"

"Why, Rarity. It's so lovely!"

"I know! I'll never part with it again!"

"No, your necklace. It looks just like your cutie mark!"

"Oh! So does yours!"

"Look at mine! Look at mine!"

"Aww! Yeah!"

My vision slowly got better and I could stand up, all my friends looked at me

"What?" I asked.

"Look at that!" Applejack said pointing to my chest, I looked down to see a gold necklace, with a dark blue emerald on it.

"Cool." I said.

Gee Twilight, I thought you were just spouting a lot of hooey… but I reckon… we really do represent the elements of friendship!" Applejack said.

"Indeed you do." A voice was heard, I turned to see Princess Celestia pop out from a ball of light. All the other ponies bowed to her, I did aswell.

"Princess Celestia!" Twilight said as she ran over.

"Twilight Sparkle, my faithful Student." Celestia heartwarmingly greeted.

"But you told me it was an old pony's tale.

"I told you that you needed to make some friends. I saw the signs of Nightmare Moon's return, and I knew you had the magic inside you to defeat her. But you could not unleash it until you let true friendship come out of your heart."

She then looked over to a little blue filly that was lying there "Princess Luna."

The blue filly was startled when Princess Celestia began walking towards her.

"It has been a thousand years since I have seen you like this… time to put our differences behind us… we're meant to rule together, little sister."

"Sister?" We asked, she was her sister!?

"Will you accept my friendship?" Princess Celestia asked Princess Luna.

We all leaned forward, even causing Pinkie Pie to fall towards the floor.

"I'm so sorry!" Princess Luna exclaimed. "I missed you so much, big sister!"

"I've missed you too!" Princess Celestia replied. Both the princesses were crying.

However, Pinkie Pie began crying and blowing into a tissue, loudly. Suddenly, her tone shifted and she exclaimed, "Hey! You know what this calls for? A PARTY!"

So we headed back to Ponyville and started to party, the entire town also came out to thank us, some ponies put flowers over Princess Luna's neck, she and Celestia then shared a smile.

I then noticed Twilight looking sad, but Celestia noticed it before me.

"Why so glum, my faithful student? Are you not happy that your quest is complete and that you can return to your studies in Canterlot?"

"That's just it…" Twilight responded. "Just when I learned how wonderful it is to have friends…I have to leave them…"

As she continued speaking, thought of my own started to came in. Do I have to go back home know? Away from my new friends?

"Spike, take a note, please." Princess Celestia ordered politely.

Spike took out his tools for writing as Princess Celestia began speaking.

"I, Princess Celestia, hereby decree that the unicorn Twilight Sparkle shall take on a new journey for Equestria. She must continue to study the magic of friendship. She must report to me her findings from her new home in Ponyville!"

We all gathered around  Twilight and cheered.

"Oh thank you, Princess Celestia! I'll study harder than ever before!" Twilight exclaimed.

But before we separated. I asked her the question that would decide my fate in this world.

"Princess, no that this is over. Do I have to go back home?" I asked her.

"Well, can you get home?" She asked. I pulled out my chaos emerald and showed her.

"Yes, with this and six others, I could go home. But should I?" I asked her.

"It is up to you. You can stay here in Equestria. Or to back to your home. What is your choice?" She asked, I looked back to see my friends with tears in there eyes, even Rainbow Dash. I looked back down to my emerald, it glowed and glowed. I then released something, the master emerald is back at home. So of anything wrong was going on with the emeralds here. Whoever tried to use them, they still couldn't touch the master emerald.

And besides, guilty thoughts went through my mind of leaving these new friends, who I had grown to have fun and enjoy there company.

I looked Princess Celestia dead in the eye and said.
