Prologue

(Summary of part one: A New Life in New Colors)
It felt like a decade but it had only been a year since me and Fluttershy got together. I haven't yet paid Applejack back fully for the loan, and seemed fine with it, saying "I'm fine with what you returned to us already!" She proclaimed as she stood aside gesturing to the other two fields that had been plowed. Another thing of interest that happened over the past year was I enjoyed "Winter Wrap Up" cleaning up Winter to bring in Spring, it was very exciting to help Fluttershy wake up all the little critters from hibernation. Although not as awesome as me and Rainbow Dash playing Black ops 2. She beat me a couple times but shockingly most of the time Fluttershy beat her, Twilight agreed that the video game was a good stress relief for her. Although after teaching some of my 'bad words' from back home she once screamed "DIE MOTHERFUCKER!!" Into the screen. I had to admit, I almost died of cuteness, she look absolutely amazing in her head set and cords everywhere... I almost kicked Rainbow Dash out just so I could rut her till morning.

Thank god Rainbow dash had no idea what she meant, I told her that kind of language was like talking about sex to children. She gasped at me and said she wouldn't swear anymore. We... We also had some tragic news. We had a specialist doctor come in and tell me and Shy that children were a impossibility. She and I cried for a day and a half, keeping the door locked and trusting nothing but each others embrace. We still had regular sex, trying everything "in the book" Fluttershy would say. I think that Twilight had ordered a 'special' book from Canterlot. But I didn't have any solid proof of this, and what she learned... Well, I'm ok with that book.

Back on a happier topic, I have been spending my off time with Twilight getting in as much studying as possible, I have mastered a couple new spells, but nothing advanced as Celestia. Or as sad as Trixi. Another thing I had the great pleasure of knowing is that since I'm technically a magic and winged human, I was the equivalent to a Alicorn. Almost always royal. when Fluttershy found this out she gave me... The royal welcome. And with having both wings and magic came the perks of a instant house cleaning, and being able to hang out at Rainbow dashes Cloud house with her and Fluttershy. Rainbow dash invited Fluttershy over for a hang out date and I asked if I could come along, they both agreed but thought they had to be grounded. I wondered if I COULD touch, move, or stand on clouds. So we were all up in the clouds while they both cheered me on I told my wings to stop flying while I hovered over a particularly big cloud. I landed and stood. I was so happy and they were both happy for me. Fluttershy tackled me and we made out in a cloud. I've never had a fear of heights, so why start now?

I have also been a regular customer at Rarity's thinking of no one else to make me enough clothing for me to wear, and as far as I could tell, my sense of style was rubbing off on her.

And last but not least on Saturdays I go to Pinkies "work" and help make as many things as Mr. And Mrs. Cake needed. Pinkie was more than thrilled, but you could still see the hurt of not being with me deep down. But she buried it in so much happiness and laughter that you could barley tell it was there... Barley.

Another thing that has changed drastically is that of my knowledge rub off on the town, my world was more advanced in industry. They were more like a little after medieval. So when I shared the output with Princess Celestia she got so many ideas that have already been established in my world, I told her what the names were of what she named. "What about a artificial light incased in... A piece of glass!" I laughed. "Yes. That's called a light bulb. Made by Thomas Edison" she made so many already made ideas, she was so over joyed then she looked at me and said "as a return gift for this generous gift of knowledge I offer you whatever you can ask for. You have but to name it." I was very happy with my gold armor with a matching steel sword.

--current day--

This was it, I had Fluttershy make me a couple of training dummy's to practice on with my sword. I had all my armor off so I could swing unhindered, and my shirt off (which now all had two more holes in the back) the only problem I've discovered thus far is my wings like to get in the way of my swings, so after a bit of practice I've managed to let them be of use, so if I ever got into a sword battle (unlikely) I would have the classic Holy-Shit-that-guy-scared-the-bejesus-outta-me-oh-my-organs tactic.

She was tensed as I made a position, I was unsure whether it was because I had my shirt off, or the fact that I was wielding a giant version of my tiny tactical knife. "ha!" I exclaimed as I made a downward angled swipe at the straw dummy. The aim was true but for some reason the swipe was much too powerful, the blade passed through the dummy, and kept going downward into 2 feet of dirt. I jumped back releasing the blade that was now swaying in the sunlight.
"Damn it." What was wrong with my body? Ever since I got my wings I have been getting stronger, and as Fluttershy said, bigger as well.

She went up giving me a tight hug, "are you ok?" She fretted. I smiled down at her,
"I'm fine Shy, just wondering how I'm so strong" she thought for a minute and looked back up

"maybe the gravitational force at your world was heavier than here... Which means something at your place that was once thought heavy if you brought that same thing here it would be lighter?"

I looked at her with astonishment, "are you sure your not a science pony?"

She blushed "I'm sure, its just thats what I thought." I gave her a warm smile and she and I kissed for the first time in two days, its obvious she was holding back for a while. We went back in the house, it was time to feed the critters. I got the bunnies and chickens Fluttershy got the... Well everything else. Angel was being his usual self but me and him had a nice agreement, I gave him one bit of carrot and he had to stay silent for one minute, so I handed him five bits of carrot and he gave me a slight irritated look but returned he's focus to the carrots. I finished his salad that he loved and didn't question my cooking again. I was carrying the bird seed to the chicken coup. When I got the crap scared out of me.... Again. A poof of Yellow smoke came out of nowhere. I dropped the bird seed and gingerly picked up the scroll, to my dread there was no writing, then the same thing happened again. A green portal appeared where the scroll landed. I thought fast. I grabbed the nearest chicken and chucked it into the portal, it must have been a one entry portal because it closed immediately. I sighed and went to feed the remaining 9 chickens.

I zoned out much like Twilight did a while ago. There was a all black place with regular gravity I started flying cause I didn't know any better. Then I saw of all thing Princess Celestia "now why the buck would I be dreaming of her?" I thought to myself she seemed irritated and very life like, not like my human dreams where the women had boobs the size of motorcycle tires. I looked at her then thought back, "Twilight said that the Princesses had the ability to pull you out of your body to talk to you..." I looked up and bowed she moved fast. She was right in front of me by the time I looked up. "Hello Rayne, would you mind telling me why a VERY angry chicken is in my throne room?" I could physically feel my eyes shrink. "THAT'S what the portal lead to?? I'm sorry Princess..." She cut me off.

"Rayne, we have been friends for quite some time, when that changeling scouting party came, you didn't break under pressure when I asked you to the castle to assist. When I crowned you a knight afterward the only thing you were worried about is if you tie was right! And when you asked me to marry you and Fluttershy you didn't falter, not once EVER have I seen you scared, and this is the first time I used the portal magic to get you to the castle, what are you afraid of?" I was slowly looking down, retreating into myself. The princess responded harshly by pulling my reality back into the vision. It hurt like hell, I looked at her again expecting scorn, instead a look of pure concern, which in any other case would have been a honor, but at the time I only saw it as a further insult, I wondered how she was looking at me right now, like a hero fallen from a high place? A injured dog backed in a corner biting anyone trying to help. She looked at me asking again, "what's wrong Rayne?" I looked deep into my Queens eyes, "not a word to anyone. Not your sister, not for my own good, not even Fluttershy, if I want to tell her, then I will." She looked back with just as much seriousness as me "deal." I tried to figure out where to begin "don't you remember the portal that sent me here to begin with?" She nodded "ever since then I have been looking out, some times in the middle of the night to see if that BUCKING portal out there, forcing me to return to a world I have come to despise. I don't want to go back, EVER. I would rather take my own life then ever set foot in another portal again." She seemed surprised at that last part. Then in a low whisper "is your fear of them really that bad?" I looked back at her. "YES." She looked up suddenly. "Very well it is done" I was puzzled "what is?" She looked back down "I have signaled out your frequency of magic, so if I ever need to get ahold of you instead of sending a portal your way I will send a note and two free passes to Canterlot... Express." My eyes opened wide "you'd do that for me?" She laughed "what are friends for?" She told me to wait where I was and pick up the note once more then I faded into reality. It was the middle of the night and I looked at my feet to see a puffy eyed Fluttershy curled up at my feet slightly crying but half asleep as well. I felt the world turn sideways and I fell backwards which made her jump. She looked at me and I her. She jumped on top of me and would have had sex right then and there if I told her somepony might be watching, she bit her bottom lip and practically dragged me inside...
