Chapter 11: Starfire's Time

it has been four and a half months since the day Brock talked to Celestia and Luna about his child. Starfire is due to be born in about a week and a half and everyone in Equestria had heard about the alicorn baby being born and the whole kingdom was in an uproar. "so Brock how are you doing in your training?" Celestia asked. "you haven't heard? heard what? i've been done with my training for almost five months now." Brock said happily. "what, how?! oh i thought someone would have told you by now, but i guess not, back before luna was freed from nightmare she gave me a gift. it was a set of armor, two swords, and an ancient book with a title that read: Sonsuz Elm Tome which i translated to the words: The Tome Of Infinite Knowledge. i read the first six pages and learned three spells im not going into detail on but one of them summons an ancient sword to my side, another makes it so that if i ever die i will burn to ashes and rise like a Phoenix, and the final multiplies my magical ability by ten. i used the last one and that WAS my training. how do you know your ready? Celestia, if i were to fight you, luna, and every guard or soldier in Equestria i would still win. are you sure about that? Celestia please dont make a bet with me, i made a pact with myself three hundred years ago that i would never take another bet again..... not after what happened to black mist........ what happened? she bet me i couldn't beat her in a fight...... i took the bet and i let my selfish side get the better of me........ what happened then? it was a sword fighting bet...." Celestia knew what happened. "i am so sorry to hear that, Brock, i had no idea. it's fine it's been three hundred years since i've seen her. but back to the task at hand! yes i think im prepared to handle him after all he will be just a baby. you'd be amazed at what their capable of." Luna said smiling. "well i know i'll be ready." brock replied when suddenly someone came bursting through the door. "Silver Platter what's the matter? b-brock your wife is in the hospital. WHAT WHY?! she went into labor and thankfully she had six young mares with her that were able to get her there right away. WELL THEN WHAT ARE WE STILL DOING HERE?! LETS GO!!!" brock shouted and ran out the door followed by celestia and luna. it took them maybe ten minutes to get to the hospital and into her room. when they got there Twi, AJ, Rainbow, Pinkie, Shy, and Rarity were all there. Celestia and Luna walked off to the Left of the room while the other six stood at the right. there was no screaming, no doctors, just nine Smiling mares when brock walked in. everyone was staring at the little child that sat in silver's arm's. "im sorry Silver.... for what? for missing it...... oh brock dont be it was mostly just screaming and pain anyway." she said sarcastically. everyone laughed except brock. "i know but i still should have been here for it. oh brock dont worry, all that matters is that your here now." this got brock to smile and he walked over to see his son. "he's beautiful silver, you did a great job. thank you Brock although you did a lot of the work too." they hugged and he took his son in his arms. he held him there for what seemed like and eternity before he noticed the similarities between his son and his wife. the similarities were uncanny and very noticeable. when the baby opened it's eye's they were a bright turquoise, with a sky blue outline. and the most noticeable part was the pupils. they were those of a dragon. everyone went to Brock and silver's home and right before they walked into the house Starfire floated high up into the sky and a pitch black light shot out from his body. "this is what i've been waiting for." Brock said and smiled then launched off the ground as if fired from a cannon. he flew into the sky at the speed of sound and stared at his son. "NIL TOKERA PAL NOR KEEVEN HA KEIN MO PAL GRAAN KALOVNERA SUUM PEIN ARCK ILL MORAH!!!" Brock screamed over the sound and as soon as the final word was uttered a blinding light exited his mouth and flew through the air and encased his son. the light then turned pitch black and shrank into the child and Starfire started falling through the air. "CATCH HIM!!!!!" silver screamed. although she had nothing to worry about her husband had already caught him and gently floated back to the ground. "shh, he's asleep." brock whispered. "what did you say?" celestia asked. "i screamed the words: hear me my son for i am who created you. my power far surpasses yours and your true power will obey my will." brock said after laying the baby down. "so will he ever be able to use his magic? twilight asked "yes he will. when he comes of age, the lock on his powers will be broken. although the spell locks his power away, he can still use magic twilight. even i cant take that away from him. it's in his blood." brock said proudly. "so celestia what are you going to do now? well im going to head back to canterlot and get some rest. for some reason this whole ordeal has drained my energy. wait celestia, i could see why, just a moment." brock said and pulled Sonsuz Elm Tome off of a shelf and whispered a few words and the pages flipped through the book and stopped. " AAH! here we are: surrounding alicorn birth effects. lets see here......... hmm, this is odd... what is it brock? it says whenever an alicorn is born it drains the energy of all alicorns within a thousand mile radius except the parents. Luna are you feeling drained? yes i am actually. ok that's good if you didn't there would be something wrong with either you or the child. but everything seems to be in order here everything that happened seems natural. wait..... oh no....." Brock said and gasped. "what? what is it Brock?! it says that when an alicorn has a child it passes on the trait of immortality. so? thats good right? yes well.... it doesn't just pass the trait on..... it... takes the trait from the parent." everyone gasped at hearing this. "so that means that you and i aren't immortal anymore?" Silver said shakily. "well yes and no. what do you mean? my immortality was given to me so only i can take it away. but yours is natural so yours can be taken with child birth." everyone fell silent. it was brock who broke it. "Ma Borack Lintos Imran Kan Val." he whispered into silver's ear. her eyes widened at hearing those words. everyone stared at her. "d....did you just.... yes i did Silver i never want to lose you again." Brock said and nearly broke out into tears. "i lost you once for a thousand years, i wont lose you again. oh Brock thank you! what? what did he do? he used the same spell i used on him over a thousand years ago. wait so you mean.... yes Luna i am now immortal again." everyone cheered for the two. quietly but still a cheer. and soon life returned to normal, Silver stayed home with the baby. Brock hired some bodyguards for the house. brock went back to work. the princesses went back to the castle. Twi, AJ, Dash, Pinkie, Shy, and Rarity all went back to their normal routines. life was great for everyone and it always would be great for Brock and Silver....................
