Chapter 8: The Wedding

Brock had woke up really early with Silver the next morning and made breakfast for them both. they were both giddy with excitement and they both knew it. today was the wedding day. Brock and Silver nearly Sprinted out the door but tried their hardest to contain their happiness. "i can't believe it's been a week already! i know how you feel Brock, it seems like it was just yesterday that you asked me to marry you in front of all of Ponyville." they walked into town and said hello to a couple of different people who said that they were happy about the wedding and apologized about not believing that Silver had changed. Brock and Silver continued walking until they reached the town hall. "well, were here. i'll be waiting for you Silver." Brock said and kissed her and walked into the town hall's main entrance. Silver walked in the side door so Rarity and Twilight could help her get dressed. "so Brock, how can you go on knowing all of your friends 'll be gone and you'll still be alive?" Big Mac asked quietly. Brock sighed and quietly told big mac the answer. "i wont have to worry about that for long." Brock whispered. "why not? nobody else here but you Silver and the princesses are immortal." big mac whispered a little surprised at his answer. "i haven't told anyone else this so you can only tell AJ if you want to. i'm currently studying a very powerful spell that will allow me to grant immortality to all of my closest friends and their families and friends all at once." Brock whispered. big mac just stared at him with a dumbstruck expression on his face. "so you promise not to tell anyone until i'm finished?" brock asked. "eeyup." big mac replied happily. "good now then onto the main event of the night." Brock said as Fluttershy started getting the birds in the room to sing. everyone in the town hall stood up and turned to watch as Silver walked toward the alter with Twilight at her side. Big mac moved to the side a little bit as Silver stood across from Brock. "wow you look beautiful." brock said and Silver blushed. they both turned to face celestia. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness the bond of holy matrimony between these two lovers." celestia said and smiled. "may their love be everlasting for better and for worse, in sickness and in health, until death do you part." celestia said. "Brock Fireheart, do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?" celestia asked. "I do. and do you, Silver Star, take this man to be your husband?" celestia asked. "I do. Then by the power invested in me and the kingdom of Equestria, i now pronounce you Husband and Wife. you may kiss the bride." celestia said and closed the book she was reading from. Brock and Silver kissed for what seemed like an eternity as the crowd cheered. AJ, big mac and applebloom were standing next to each other smiling. Rainbow dash, Fluttershy and pinkie pie were all crying with joy for the two. and Rarity and Twilight were both clapping side by side. "And now, let the party begin!" Brock said after finally breaking the kiss. Pinkie immediately stopped crying and jumped around at hearing this. "alright pinkie, would you like to cut the cake for everybody?" Brock asked her. "i would LOVE to Brock." and with that, pinkie was cutting the cake in mere seconds and giving a piece to everybody one by one, smiling the whole time. "hey Celestia, Luna how would you like to come to dinner with us later this evening?" Brock asked the two alicorns. in turn they both looked at each other and smiled. "we would be honored to join you two. where will we be eating tonight?" both princesses asked in sync. "hmm, what do you two suggest?" Brock asked. "well luna and i may be sisters but we both have very different tastes. luna what would you suggest?" Celestia said smiling. "hmm, i guess i would have to suggest........" she paused. "we could eat in canterlot castle! they always know how to make the best food." luna said happily. "well i suppose that's true sister. but the chefs are always so uptight." celestia said and both of the sisters laughed happily. "well then you both suggest the castle in canterlot then?" Brock asked. both of the sisters nodded. "well then one moment." Brock said and walked out into the crowd. he spoke to Applejack, Rainbow dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Twilight shortly. "how would you all like to join us and the princesses with your families at canterlot castle for dinner later this evening?" all six gasped and nodded violently. "then let your families know that we'll all be having dinner there later and that their all invited." Brock said. "thank you Brock." all six of them said together. they ran off to find their families and let them know. the party had gone on for maybe an hour and a half or so longer until everybody started leaving. "thank you for coming everyone!" Brock shouted. he then walked back inside with the everyone else. "alright everyone hold hands for a moment in a circle please." the four alicorns said. everyone grabbed hands and stood there while all four alicorns uttered a spell. and before anyone knew it, they were all standing in the main hall of canterlot castle. "so everyone take a seat wherever you want to." brock said. everyone sat next to their families except for Brock and Silver. they sat next to the princesses. "so Brock, how would you like a job here in the castle?" celestia asked. "like what?" Brock asked surprised at her question. "i would like you to be my castle mage. if that would be alright with you." celestia said. Brock was stunned at hearing this. and almost accepted but then he thought of rarity. "i'm extremely grateful for the offer Celestia, but i'm going to have to decline. i would like to stay and work at Rarity's Boutique." Brock said. "if that is your choice then i respect that. but if you ever require access to the royal library feel free to ask." Celestia said happily. "i'll be sure to take you up on that offer later this week." Brock said and all four alicorns laughed. everyone continued eating and talking and had stayed in the castle with everyone else for about an hour. then everybody left and went home. "thank you for coming. see you all next time!" Luna said as everyone but Brock and Silver left. "so Brock, Silver what do you plan to do now that your married?" Luna asked. "well first were going to head back home for the moment and then we'll figure the rest out as we go." Brock replied. "well that's fine, just remember that if you two ever need anything just feel free to ask." Luna said politely. "thank you Luna you are always so kind, both of you are." Silver said. and with that Brock and Silver flew back home.
