Twilight has just left the common life of Canterlot and has entered Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns as Celestia's protege, a personal student who has access to the alicorn's vast knowledge of magic. With Twilight's position comes a new life at Canterlot castle, and it's different than the filly anticipated. A strange new environment, away from family…it's even affecting her studies, and in an effort to solve this problem, Celestia and Twilight unwittingly strengthen the tender bond forged in that first testing room.
