Ever since the events at the Wonderbolts Training camp, Lightning Dust didn't have the heart to go back to her friends and families and tell them what happened. She couldn't stand to disappoint anypony else in her life...

When Lightning arrives in Ponyville to hopefully apologize to Rainbow Dash for what happened at the Wonderbolts Academy , she is nearly killed in a freak forest fire. But a stallion comes to her rescue, and saves her life, her original plans are thrown out of whack.

Now Lightning can't get him away from her. And when she fears that somebody is following her, she'll have to spend more time with this stallion than she's comfortable with.

And maybe that's not such a bad thing.
