It has been long since Twilight Sparkle had gone and come to retrieve her rightful crown from Sunset Shimmer. Trixie moves into Twilight's library, hoping to learn plenty of magic tricks and earn her former rival's forgiveness. Fluttershy also drops in from time to time, to encourage the once-corrupted unicorn. One day, Trixie and Twilight, while performing a spell that they were trying to show off to Fluttershy, made a small mistake that soon led to big trouble.

Trixie and Fluttershy, who are definitely not those who would enjoy adventure and danger, end up getting whisked to a place they would most likely not enjoy. They also has to put up with another pony they happen to meet there. The three ponies travel together, and everything seems fairly good. . . until Fluttershy's and Trixie's companion gets kidnapped by one of her old enemies. Will the timid pegasus and the confidence-losing unicorn be able to discover their true strengths in time? Or will their companion be slain, and will they remain trapped where they are?
