He was furious. I have never seen that stallion in more of a state of pure rage than in that moment. As I looked into his eyes I could have swore that there was a flame of pure, unbridled violence burning in the very fabric of his being.

"WHAT THE HELL WHAT MADE YOU THINK THAT YOU COULD DISOBEY ME AND EVEN WORSE, BREAK MY PROPERTY WHILE DOING IT!"

I gave no response. I sat on the stool at the table in our kitchen. I knew everypony else in the house was listening to him screaming at me, it was impossible not to. His voice was so elevated that I was surprised the princesses of Canterlot didn't hear him.

"YOU HAD BETTER TALK THIS TIME! OR IT WILL BE WOR-"
"IS THIS BETTER?!"

Thwump. A second solid blow to the face, doubling the pain from the one yesterday. More blood, delicious blood.

"DON'T INTERRUPT ME AND DON'T BE A SMARTASS!"

I mumbled a slur under my breath.

Another blow to my face. Above where the others landed, on the side of my skull. A dizzy feeling overtook me, causing me to fall off of my stool. I wasn't sure if it was from a concussion or from the thought that I might never see Lily again.

"GET UP!"

I steadied myself against the table, prepared for another solid hit. It didn't come. I felt the blood pooling in my mouth. It dribbled from my lips to the table.

"CLEAN THAT UP NOW!"

I tried to get up from the stool to get a washcloth. I couldn't take another hit from that stallion, I was already in enough pain as it was. Once I took a single step I fell to the floor, collapsed from the dizziness that lingered from his last one.

"GET UP NOW!"

I tried to no avail. I struggled, but crashed to the floor in a nautious heap. Vomit spilled from my mouth.
Another blow to the front of my face and everything went black.
