How a little pink pony survived the Facility purge
Hitting the big red button to end the world
The rows and rows of cubicle elevators traveled up and down, side to side, in an organized fashion.
Though, no one in the right damn mind would ever take them to get to the surface or "up stairs" as the Organization called it. Each contained what would be your death in a fearful and painful way.
A tree-like figure had a deep, evil chuckle as it's tree branches nearly covered the whole cube as it passed a witch who's skin and dark robes give the terrifying appearance. She looked over to see a normal looking man just simply standing in his cube with a smile on his face. Nothing out of the ordinary for him.
On top of his cube laughed a pair of goblins as they awaited to tear off the limbs off the nearest person. They hit the glass several times to reach who was on the other side.
There sat Marty and Dana, the two were the only ones left after a family of monsters were let loose on her friends, killing most of them. Dana herself was about to die when Marty, who was though to be dead, stepped in and saved her before leading her to the elevator.
The two didn't feel safe to put there backs to any walls. They were surrounded by an army of nightmares. That was until they all moved away and left one cube. Dana approached it slowly with Marty right behind her.
In bounced around a cartoon pony with a light pink coat and a dark pink, poofy mane and tail. She giggled happily to herself before seeing the two watching her. She ran over to the glass and waved to them in a very friendly manner.
"I don't trust it." Shook Marty, as he nervously watched the pony. "After all the shit we've seen, no way." Dana nodded in agreement.
"Whatever it is, the peaceful look only makes it more terrifying to whatever it would do to us." She spoke.
Suddenly, the elevator started moving downwards and away from the pink little filly. She smiled and waved goodbye as they descended away from her. Leaving her to giggle at a Werewolf that didn't respond to her. The filly turned to a man with buzzsaws through his face and was holding a spherical puzzle. He only looked down on her as she bounced around happily and laughed.
Suddenly, she felt her elevator move a little and she merely giggled at the sudden movement as she saw the giant snake and the killer robot next to her as they moved down until they reached the doors. The little pony danced with excitement to see what was on the other side.
*ding*
The ding of the elevator sounded as two security guards and a worker stepped through. Both rushed over to see the situation.
(30 minutes earlier)
"Hadley, what the hell happened?" The worker, female, asked through microphone.
"It was the fool. What he was smoking made him become aware of all of this." He said angrily.
"What are we gonna do now?" One of the guards asked.
"Await orders. Nothing to be afraid of. We're finding what cube they're in and sending an officer." Stitterson said.
"Nothing to be afraid of. Got it." Responded the same guard as the mic cut out.
He turned to his partner and said "Lets go grab a soda." He said as he patted his shoulder.
The two walked through the doors and were greeted with a few panicking workers.
"Sheesh, they act like it's the end of the world." He said with a role of his eyes.
"Probably because it is, Tyler." The guard said.
Tyler turned to face the other guard. "Daniel, nobody has ever gotten into the facility before. They don't know the place, we do. Look at our odds."
"I'm still prepared for the worse." Daniel said as they reached the soda machine.
"Whatever, so did you hear that Dan got a promotion. I hear he's the leader of the third squad." Tyler said as he counted up his quarters."
"To bad team 3 rarely gets deployed."
"Well it's a big deal for him so congratulate him. Yada yada yada yada." He finished sarcastically. He started to put quarters in the machine before dropping one and watching it slide under the machine.
"Fuck!" Tyler yelled as he kicked the soda machine in anger.
"Someone mad we lost the betting pool still?" Daniel asked.
"Dude, look at me and tell me that Pumpkin Head would have been great." Tyler said as he tried to fish out his quarter.
"Hey, I put twenty bucks down on him." Daniel shrugged.
"I mean, it would have been great. He could have killed the whore then athlete while setting the forest on fire. And since nothing gets in or out, smoke covers the whole place, he goes after his targets and sets them on fire, and in the end, we could have enjoyed a bonfire."
"Almost like that one time you set off an entire belt of smoke grenades." Daniel said with a small snort.
"Was an accident dude." Tyler said. "Like that time you called Megan pretty with Dan right in front of her." He responded with a sly grin.
"Kiss my ass. I had a few drinks. Remember, I won the betting jar that year so I wanted to celebrate."
"Yeah yeah, rub it in. You should be thankful Dan is a nice dude or else he would have kicked your ass.''
"You should be glad I'm a nice dude or I would kick your ass."
Tyler stood up and faced his ally in the eye. "Haha you're very-"
"Team 1 come in! Officer down in the monster hall, gear up and exterminate the fool. Leave the virgin alive." Truman yelled through the headsets of the two.
"Shit, it's go time!" Daniel yelled as the two ran to the locker rooms and geared up. Vests, bandoliers, radios, face masks and with goggles, carbine rifles and handguns. Helmets were on and weapons were loaded.
Daniel and the team of eleven including him ran down the halls and two the main hall. The Directors voice sounded, clearly talking to the victims as they rounded the corner and could see a pair of feet disappear around the other corner.
The team rounded that corner and saw the two running. They opened fire as they got inside a small room. Daniel ignored what was in there and kept firing.
"Hold fire." The commander ordered as he held up his fist.
There was the sound of elevators, not one, but enough to fill the room. The team looked around and waited.
That's when the noise of them moving stopped.
"Oh shit."
*ding*
All in one moment. Everything went to hell. A Werewolf leaped out and slashed a guys throat and landed on top of a guard and chewed on his neck. A witch flew right by it and stole the soul of one while the Dragonbat ate another ones face off. Tree branches manifested the walls as one giant branch grabbed one and pulled him in to the elevator.
Daniel moved to shoot what was in the elevator next to him but it got him first. A small pink pony tackled him to the ground and hugged him. She sat up and looked down on him with a large smile, unable to see his horror due to the mask and goggles. He jumped and expected pain when she dug his head into his stomach, but she was just snuggling up on him.
Tyler looked over. "What the-" A grappling hook went around his chest and he was dragged over where the killer Robot dug a saw into his head.
Daniel looked over to see a swarm of zombies eating a guard alive while the Giant snake strangled another. A large pooled of blood spewed from where the Angry Molesting tree was and it got on Daniels arm. A little bit of blood rained down as the top half of a guard flew through the air with the Dismemberment Goblins laughing the whole time.
The alarm had been sounding but Daniel only just now noticed it. The monsters saw that they all got their targets and ran off to find more, yet they completely ignored Daniel and the pink pony. She giggled and waved to them. The Killer Robot stepped over Daniel, as if it thought he was a dead man already.
Judging by the large amount of footsteps, all teams had been deployed. Yet the screams coming from around the facility meant that they were screwed to begin with.
"GO GO GO GO!" One yelled as the flashing red lights cleared and they fired upon the slithering snake and the laughing Goblins as they retreated away.
"We have man down! I repeat, we need a medic!" The commander of team 2 yelled as they moved out of the room to pursue the monsters. As for the rest, the sight of what hell looks like laid before their eyes.
Daniel and the pony looked up at them. The zombies also just noticed them. The pony through her hooves up at them in a happy matter and a 'Yaaaa!' sound that sounded like she was excited to meet new friends, and completely oblivious to the blood soaked hallway and dead bodies and limbs around her. Daniel came to the conclusion that she couldn't speak yet could learn to if taught like a hum-
*ding*
Daniel got up with his gun and the pony in his arms and dove around the corner just as the doors opened and a wave of bloody death washed over the guards. When their screams of terror and fear hit the little foals ears, she began to cry her eyes out.
Daniel cradled her head while peaking around the corner. He heard a chainsaw revving up as the doors opened to reveal Fornicus standing there calmly. A wave of mutants rushed out from one as well along with several other monsters. Team 3 rushed forward to combat the monsters but most were blind at their sides as more doors opened up. One in particular stood out to Daniel, mostly cause he knew him.
"DAN!" He screamed to the leader of Team 3, who just now heard the infamous ding and looked to see an alien attack his face.
A Wraith flew by Daniel as he ducked in cover, all the other monsters seemed to ignore him due to them thinking that the pony was a monster and Daniel was it's victim.
Daniel got up and ran and looked around the facility for anyone who wasn't getting torn apart. Yet the mayhem that had been unleashed by those two idiots was catastrophic. People screamed in panic as monsters approached them while others were trying to fight them so others could escape, only for those "others" to be killed. Daniel tried to ran the corner but saw the Bigfoot running the same way. A blood rained down on him as workers above on the balcony's were massacred from various monsters. Others were dragged away for worse fates. He looked around in a small panic for a place to hide
"Over here!" A guard called to Daniel. He looked around and saw a clear path and ran towards them while others around him were slaughtered.
He ran inside what was a rather large closet as the door was barricaded.
In there were two guards a worker.
"Daniel, oh thank god." He knew who it was, Megan hugged him a little before looking down to see the pink pony.
"What is that?" One of the guards asked.
"I have no clue Micheal. It was in the elevator I was standing by and it seems friendly." Daniel told them.
"That's bullshit." Tony chimed in. "You'd think that thing would kill you-"
"Then it would have. It has the mind of a child clearly and other monsters seem to think it's one of them.
"So if I hold it then I'm safe. Here, let me see it." Micheal said as he reached for the pink pony and let it jump into his arms as it snuggled and hugged him.
"See, friendly." He said.
"Is Dan alright?" Megan asked. Daniel hated to tell her, the two were great together, no matter how jealous he was. He looked her through his goggle and simply said.
"I'm sorry."
Tears spilled from her eyes and she cried so hard that she could hardly stand, even the small foal began to cry and hopped down and hugged her as they cried together.
"We need to get the fuck out of here." Tony said.
"How?" Daniel asked.
"The elevators clear?" Micheal asked.
*ding*
"Nope." Daniel answered.
"Well what can we-"
"Emergency exits!" Micheal nearly shouted.
"Fucking scream it why don't you." Tony said.
"We can use them to get out."
"Those are on the other side of the Facility."
"But that's probably where the least amount of monsters are." Micheal pointed out.
"You know what." Tony said with a clap of his hands. "Lets fucking do it. We are fucked any other way so I say we do it."
"Well we better get-"
The bumping in the vents above cause them all to clear the door and get the hell out. Daniel held Megan by the waist as they ran to the still on-going mayhem.
"Hey, don't monsters kill each other as well?" Tony asked.
Judging on how a Deadite threw a worker right into the snakes mouth, no.
"Come on!" Daniel yelled as they ignored the dead body by them.
"Think we can drive those carts?" Tony asked.
"I could fucking sprint and catch you." Micheal voiced as they just ran by them.
With the snake ignoring them, the group of four ran on and came upon a wave of zombies.
"Open fire!" Daniel ordered as he fired from the hip, though he decided headshots would be the only way to kill them.
Tony and Micheal dispatched enough for them to move through.
"I can walk." Megan said as she stood up and held the bubbly little filly in her arms.
They ran to the next room and peaked around the corner. The killer robot swung it's saws wildly as it traveled down the stair and after two guards.
"RUN!" Tony yelled as the worker it was chasing stumbled and fell down the stairs. While the robot stopped to maul him, the two guards joined the group with a few workers as they ran for their lives.
Two workers were grabbed by it's grappling hooks and were dragged away only for blood to gush from the hallway they got dragged into.
"Holy fuck!" A guard panicked, named Peter.
"Keep moving Peter." Daniel ordered.
Pinkie saw the new additions to the group and jumped into the other guards arms.
"What the hell is this?" Nick asked.
"It won't hurt you. Keep moving." Tony said.
The group ran as a witch flew by and picked up a worker and took his soul and flew off.
They ran to the next area that had little to no monsters.
"Please tell me you guys have a plan?" Peter asked, panicking from recent events.
"Emergency exits."
"On the other side of the fucking facility!?" The worker growled.
"Yes."
"Fuck that. a large group like this will be killed off so damn fast. I'm out." He said as he ran round the corner, only to scream and be mauled by a Deadite as blood sprayed the walls of the hall.
"He's gone. Lets move." Nick said as he held the pony in his arms, that was shaken by the deaths that just happen. She sobbed quietly as Nick passed her to Daniel.
"So what's the deal with that thing?" Peter asked.
"It came out of the elevator during the first wave. Instead of tearing out my organs, it hugged me while laughing."
"While the rest of team 1 was being ripped apart, totally normal." Peter commented.
"It cried when the rest of the teams were murdered. She clearly is peaceful." Daniel said.
"What if she's just waiting to kill us?" Nick asked.
"She would have already. We were locked in a closet with no one around." He pointed out.
"Fine then. So... what should we name it?" Peter asked, his thick british accent no longer shaking from fear.
"Pinkie?" Tony suggested.
"It works. We'll call her Pinkie." Daniel said as they walked throughout the silent hall, leaving the screams behind them.
"So, is the world ending yet?" Tony asked.
"With all those monsters around, you'd think they'd kill them." Micheal said.
"Defin-"
A gunshot rang out and nearly hit Daniel. "Who the fuck was that?"
"JT, that you?" Nick called out.
"Yeah, my bad dude. We're kinda on edge here." He called out. Five guards rounded the corner.
"Eric, thank god you made it." Nick said as he greeted one guard with a small hug. Daniel looked amongst the others.
"Spenser, I thought you and Briston were going to die."
"Geez, thanks for that." Spenser said sarcastically before looking over at Megan.
"Two things, what is that and where is Dan?"
"He's dead." Daniel whispered to not make Megan upset even more.
"As for-" The pony jumped out of his arms and onto Spenser and rubbed her face on his much like a friendly animal.
"Yeah, came out of the elevator and jumped onto me and didn't let go, now I'm here. We named it Pinkie." Daniel informed with fake excitement at the end.
"So the emergency exits... sounds good to me."
"Well lets move. Only a matter of time before all of the staff is dead and they come for us."
"Aye Max, we're moving out." Spenser called to the last guard.
"Got it." He called back.
With a team of ten and one worker and a cartoon pony, they all set off...
Right into a swarm of zombies and mutants.
"Fuck."
Megan took a hold of Pinkie while the rest opened fire and fought through the swarm. Green, burning blood spilled over the red/brown kind on the floor.
Briston was a little to close to a mutant when he shot it in the head, causing a bit of blood got on Spenser who watched his sleeve burn away. He ignored the pain and fired at a group of zombies.
"Reloading!" Someone called out as they swapped magazines. A zombie nearly bit them but was quickly shot.
Eventually getting through, they ran in hopes that the gunfire didn't attract any attention. Though from the sounds of the Dragonbat's roar and the howl of the Werewolf, they were wrong.
"Where to!" Tony yelled out as he gunned down a wave of Mutants.
"Down this way!" Micheal said as he kicked the door in and checked to see if it was safe. He waved his hand for the others to follow and covered the others escape. They all rushed in before slamming the door and shooting the lock off. The growls and roars of the monsters sounded from outside.
"What the fuck do we do now?" Peter asked, panicking once more.
"We wait. About all we can do." Spenser answered.
"You kiddin me man. We are so fucked. See all those fucking things out there, they wants us." He exclaimed as he held his knees to his chest.
Max walked over, "Calm the hell down Peter. We can get out of here but being a little bitch won't help us."
Pinkie hopped out of Megan's arms and walked over and began to hug Peter and hoped to comfort him.
"There's gotta be someway out of here that isn't down the main halls." Daniel said.
"We got a few office spaces that could lead us there." JT said.
"But where there's people, there are monsters." Eric pointed out.
"There are monsters everywhere. What do you think we can do?" Peter shook as he held Pinkie and rocked back and fourth. The pink filly hugged him and did her best to comfort him.
"Well Peter," Spenser said as he walked over and grabbed him by the shoulders, dragging him up to eye to eye level. "Wake up, the fucking world is gonna end and I don't want to be here when it does. I want you to grow a pair and help us get out of here. If you're gonna bitch about how hard this is,we'll leave you here."
At this point, Pinkie who didn't like the harsh treatment to her friend, or anyone for that matter, began to cry.
Loudly.
And it was heard.
"Time to leave." Nick said as he loaded a new clip into his rifle and got ready by the door.
"We need you now Peter."
The shaken guard stood up and grabbed his rifle and gathered with the others.
"3. 2. 1. GO!" Daniel ordered as the door was kicked in.
To show a normal guys standing there.
"Oh thank goodness, the guards." He said as if he had prayers answered.
"Sir, are you alright?" Spenser asked.
"I am fine. Can't say for the rest of the people I was with." He said, blood covered his shirt, clearly from said people.
"Well come with us, we're getting out of here." Tony said.
"Excellent." He said. The guards fled out of the room. "By the way, my name's Kevin."
"Got it." Max said as he waved him over to follow.
The team moved through halls, the sound of screaming was only getting louder from the slaughter. Mostly because this area has just gotten a batch of monsters from the sound of the ding from an elevator.
"Offices are up ahead." JT called out over the madness that surrounded.
Daniel looked ahead to see that he was right, the office sign hung above the doorway before blood sprayed on it.
All guards looked up to see a Werewolf jump on top of Nick and tear his neck with it's teeth. Peter rushed to help but was ambushed by a group of Doctors that were attacked by JT.
The Werewolf was shot enough for it to retreat, but not soon enough for Nick to bleed out on the spot. He didn't move a muscle at all on the ground. But before the loss could be mourned, a Dragonbat appeared and picked up Briston and slammed him into the wall. Despite firing enough bullets for it to retreat, he coughed up a large amount of blood through his face mask before hitting the ground dead.
"NO!" Peter yelled as he saw the two dead around him. Yet, more monsters were coming. Zombies were swarming on Daniel and Micheal while Spenser tried to keep his cool over losing Briston.
"We have to go now!" Tony yelled as he dragged Peter into the offices while the others retreated.
Kevin was the last to walk in before grabbing the door. As he turned to face the other monsters, he gave them an assuring wink before closing the door.
"That was shit!" Max yelled in anger.
"We have to move on without them." Megan said as she rocked the crying pony like a baby.
"She's right." Daniel said. "Now does anyone know which way to the emergency exits?"
"Through here is the mess hall, if you recall, that's right by the front lobby." Micheal explained. "But to the right where we're coming from, the storage facility has the exits."
"Storage facility. Got it."
"Guys." Peter said.
"Make it fast Peter." Spenser said.
"Where's JT?"
All of them looked around the room, Pinkie ran around, checking under tables and in coffee cups left by the staff as if he were hiding.
"Last I saw, he was saving Peter from the Doctors back there." Max said.
"Well he's tough. He knows this facility more than any of us." Eric said.
Pinkie on the other hand, began to sob quietly to herself over her missing friend.
"I say we rest for now. Someone go look for left over food and water." Spenser said as he sat down.
The office space itself was dark. Light were cut out and the only light came from computers and desk lamps.
Daniel slumped to the ground. He was exhausted from the events occurring all around him. He could feel someone sit next to him.
"Mind if I join you?" Megan asked, Pinkie reaching out to Daniel in excitement.
"Not at all." He said, though she had already sat and would have been to tired to get up.
"Rough day?" She asked.
"Thinking about asking for a raise, might turn it around." He said. The two would rather forget the fact that they had a slaughterhouse outside the door.
"Hope you get it." She encouraged, loosening her grip on Pinkie as she reached over to boop Daniel on his nose, his only exposed skin through his mask and goggles.
"So what's with this thing?" She asked. "It's supposed to be a monster but it's actually friendly. Were we missing something when it was added to the monsters?"
"I don't know. They clearly think it is one since they thought I was it's victim when the doors opened." Daniel thought back and shuddered at the memory of his team being brutalized by monsters and killers.
"I'm sorry about Tyler. I know you two worked together a lot." She said.
"I'm sorry about Dan. He was a great guy."
Pinkie had hopped up and put her hind hooves on their shoulders to balance herself while trying to push their faces together.
"No Pinkie." Daniel said as Megan giggled a little.
"Oh hey! I found the betting board!" Eric exclaimed. The two got up and walked over.
"I fucking hate Maintenance. Choose the same bastards everytime." Spenser said.
"I can't believe Ronald won with them." Tony said with a shook of his head.
"You guys remember that one year when the fucking Bigfoot won and it wouldn't kill anyone?" Eric reminded.
"Yeah man. Then fucking Dan and his team got sent out to lure it to the cabin-" Spenser said with a small laugh.
"And the victims saw them and ran out all excited cause they thought it was an official Bigfoot hunt." Daniel pointed out.
"The fool was all like 'I told you dudes Bigfoot was real but none of you guy believed me' while he was high off his ass."
"I remember him nearly getting close and dying first." Megan spoke up.
"Luckily the whore was close and she was shot in the leg before they let him loose and let her get mauled to death."
"Yeah man." The team shared their chuckles. "Who is on here?"
"The killer Robot wasn't nominated at all? That thing kickes ass. Chopped fucking tree's down to get to it's victims."
"Angry Molesting tree was an awesome year." Daniel said.
"Yeah, we have Deadites, Witches and... Kevin. Who the hell is-"
"KEVIN!" Peter screamed as a knife went through Micheal's throat. They all opened fire and Kevin was filled with bullet holes as he dropped to the ground.
"Shit!" Tony yelled as he ran over to Micheal and saw his friend gag and cough on his own blood before leaning his head to the side and stop moving.
Kevin laughed evilly despite the wounds on his chest. Daniel walked over and looked at his face.
"You're. All. Dead." He breathed with his last bit of life.
Spenser shook his head as he kicked a nearby desk in anger.
"Dude, we have to chill out and keep moving."
The guard only hung his head down in guilt. He breathed a few deep breaths before getting up.
"Lets go." He said coldly.
Pinkie only sobbed into Daniels shoulder as they moved on.
They exited the office and came upon the security room. There they found ammo to stock up on.
"Any cameras working?" Eric asked.
"A few. Most of them are rooms full of dead people. There's this one-"
The camera cut to show the Doctors operating on someone. They all knew who it was as he screamed in pain as scalpel knives cut his flesh and organs were removed.
"JT." Eric broke down as he heard his friend screaming in agony. He reached for his carbine and rushed for the door.
A hand landed on his shoulder and held him back that told him that all they could do was move on and leave JT to only scream in pain and beg for someone to kill him as he was tortured.
The team had long left the room behind them and were flashing lights through the dark offices. Pinkie reaching and playing around with anyone in sight while in Megan's arms.
"I hate this." Peter said.
"We all do." Spenser said as he shined his light on something moving. "Shit!" He exclaimed as he fired on something.
"What is it?" Tony asked.
The sickly moan of a zombie filled the room.
"Open fire!" Daniel ordered as muzzle flashed lit the area around them. Pinkie covered her ears to drown out the noise.
"Incoming Scarecrows!" Max yelled as he shot the heads with bags over them that seemed to burst into dust. His clip emptied and he quickly switched to his pistol and fired at the approaching monsters. A few took shots like it was nothing before Peter joined and took them out.
Daniel fired upon the zombies and looked over to see Megan give a small nod to show she was alright as the pink filly cried over all the noise.
Tony fired upon waves until he saw a group of Deadites enter. "We have to leave!" He yelled as he shot one in the head.
"Fuck this! Regroup and we'll push through!" Daniel yelled. He looked over to Peter and Max at the back of the room.
"Max go, I'll cover you." He told his ally. Max nodded and went to join the rest. Peter fired one last clip before joining.
"Move! Move!" Daniel yelled as they stuck together and walked across the room while firing at any near monsters.
The banging in the vents above distracted Spenser for a moment. He looked up and was pushed out of the way by Peter as a large tree branch burst down and abducted the guard. He screamed as he was pulled up and kept screaming as a pool of blood poured down and into the room.
"SHIT!" Eric yelled as he charged through and opened the door as the others got through. He slammed it on a zombie and barricaded it with a nearby desk.
"Guys." Daniel said as he stood staring at a screen.
It showed all of them. The whole group, not the whole facility but the group of survivors that was them.
"What the..."
It showed Daniel's name with the caption "Now-leader of group".
Tony- Rook who asks questions.
Micheal- Sarcastic one. (dead)
Peter- Nervous one. (dead)
Nick- The smart one. (dead)
Eric- The lazy one.
JT- The brave one. (dead)
Spenser- The hard-ass.
Briston- Tech-guy. (dead)
Max- Quiet one.
"Who the fuck knows about this?" Tony asked.
"I'm not lazy." Eric said as he sat down.
Daniel got closer to the image being projected on the screen and read the bottom. It was a foreign language but he knew where it was from.
"The Ancient Ones did this." He said as he turned back to the others.
"But why?" Tony questioned.
"Guess they want two sacrifices?" Spenser suggested.
"Doesn't matter. I say we get the hell out of here. We're almost there." Daniel said as he grabbed his carbine. Pinkie gave a small cheer as they all stacked up on the door out.
Eric kicked it open to show the chaos of the front lobby.
"Guess we didn't think the same." Tony pointed out.
"Lets move." Spenser said as he quickly ran out, eager to get out of the Facility. Tony, Max and Eric followed.
"You ready?" Daniel asked Megan and Pinkie. Pinkie gave a cheer and Megan nodded nervously.
"Lets go!" He yelled as he ran out with her hand in his to make sure they didn't get separated.
The screams of people being murdered filled the area as the two made their way past monsters and people to regroup with the team that were waiting for them. They shot monsters to cover them as they regrouped with them.
"Lets get the hell out of here!" Eric yelled as he kicked the door in and was greeted with the hand of a Dismemberment Goblin that laughed while pulling him inside. He screamed as his limbs were pulled loose and blood sprayed around, yet all while the monster laughed. Megan shrieked while Pinkie jumped out of her arms and ran off.
Daniel saw her run and looked back at his friend who had just lost his other arm and knew he was done for. The whole storage area was guarded by the Giant snake and the front entrance had shown monsters getting outside.
He took off after the pink pony that stopped him from being killed in the first place, despite the calls from the others.
Daniel rounded a corner and found a woman who was bleeding badly stumble and lean on his chest.
"Help us!" She sobbed madly. Daniel looked over he to see Pinkie round a corner. The girl fell to the ground and had a knife in her back. The guard merely took off as she bled to death.
"Pinkie!" He called to her as she kept on running. Daniel seemed to know where she was going and know which way to go. The only thing he ignored was where she actually was going.
He rounded the blood soaked corner and came upon the same hall that his whole team got massacred in. The large amount of blood nearly made him puke.
From the corner of the guards eye, he could see the pony playing with the Unicorn monster they had. She tapped it's sharp horn while giggling. Daniel ran over to her while reaching for his gun to kill the monster.
*ding*
The deafening roar of a Dragonbat sounded as one slammed Daniel to the wall. The Unicorn ran off as well as Pinkie. Daniel slumped to the ground and struggled to get up when he saw the Creepy girl monster looking at him with a knife.
'Crawl Daniel' A voice in his mind said to him. The Dragonbat flew over and through the window of the elevator control room.
'Go Daniel' The voice said again.
Reaching forward, Daniel moved up to where his hand landed before reaching with his other and pulling himself forward.
He heard a single gunshot followed by sizzling. Daniel looked over to see the victims of the ritual run by. The virgin and the fool both as the Dragonbat roared once more. They ran and bumped into a worker.
"This is whole place is fucked you can't go there." He said before being slammed through the wall and the sound of him being eaten was heard.
'That won't be me' Daniel thought was he kept crawling.
"Where are you going?" A little girls voice asked as she sang a lullaby as the girl approached. The Dragonbat flew over them and away.
An explosion sounded behind him. Shortly after, a swarm of zombies slowly walked over him and towards the two.
The wounded guard kept crawling. it was the only thing he could do. That was until a hand touched his back. It grabbed him tight and prevented Daniel from moving anymore.
"Let's play." The voice said.
A gunshot was heard and Daniel could feel cold blood spill on his back.
"Get up!" Spenser yelled. Max supported Daniel, who could hardly walk.
"Taking the elevator. Lets get the fuck out of here!" He yelled.
They turned the corner to see Pinkie waving her hoof over to an elevator. They rushed in and hacked the control panel to take them up.
Daniel slumped down and the pink filly hugged and snuggled his face as a way of saying sorry for running away. The guard only returned the hug.
"Lets get out of here." Tony said. The looks of the others gave the look of relief that they escaped that nightmare.
They reached the top and were greeted with the dirt of the ground around them. Spenser rushed out to make sure it was clear while Tony carried Pinkie and Megan and Maxed helped Daniel out.
"Alright, there's a way out of the woods." Spenser explained. "We just need to-"
A scythe went through his head and killed him instantly. He fell dead to show Father Buckner standing there with Mathew Buckner. He pulled the scythe out and looked upon the group.
"Oh shit!" Tony yelled as he fired upon Father and ran off with Mathew and mother following him. Pinkie jumped out of his arms.
"Go... help him." Daniel said weakly.
"No!" Megan cried out. She and Max dragged him with Pinkie following. They ran through the graveyard and reached a lone tree.
"I can't carry him anymore." Max said as he dropped Daniel and leaned him up on the tree. Megan unhooked her arm as well. An earthquake rumbled and shook the earth.
"Go... help... Tony." Daniel said weakly. His wounds bleeding badly.
Megan began to cry.
"Don't worry about me." He said.
Pinkie climbed on his chest and hugged him. She refused being taken with Megan and Max.
"Daniel... she want's to stay." Megan said.
"Let her... now go." He said as he put an arm around the filly.
Max nodded and ran off while dragging the crying Megan away with him.
At this point, the ground shook even more. Daniel looked and saw it. The cabin where this whole operation was supposed to take place at.
"Ya know, I don't mind this at all." The guard said, the filly listening to his every word.
"If the world was destined to end, it was a fun run while it was."
Pinkie snuggled up to him.
"I don't know what you are, but all I can say is that you are the nicest creature I have ever met." He said as he looked down at the smiling pink pony.
"You're not a monster, even if you were from the cubes." Daniel could feel the ground shake with every pebble.
"Sorry you're going out this way." He said as Pinkie buried her face in his neck.
The Cabin burst with a hand from the ground.
The last thing Daniel remembered was holding Pinkie tightly as it slammed down on them.
Nothing but pure light filled his vision. Daniel tried looking around but saw nothing but white light. He felt as though he hadn't moved an inch from where he was last was.
"What the..." The light slowly cleared to show a town around Daniel.
A white alicorn with a multi-colered flowing mane and tail stood above him.
"Am I dead?" He asked her.
She only shook her head before walking away.
Daniel looked over to see Tony talking to an orange pony with a cowboy hat. Max was watching them as Megan talked to a white unicorn with a purple mane. He was in a town filled with several ponies that talked just like humans. As if he was taken to a whole new world.
That's when he felt the weight on his chest. His wounds felt healed yet something was still holding him down. He looked to see a grown mare on his chest hugging him tightly. Just the way she did a what felt like a few moments ago. She looked up at him with a very cheerful smile.
"Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie, what's your name?"
