//-------------------------------------------------------// Equestria's Damnation -by OppositionToAllCreation- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Your end of the bargain //-------------------------------------------------------// Your end of the bargain Our tale begins, innocently enough, with our horsemen serving Samael. They had agreed that if they brought the hearts of the Chosen, they would gain access to the Destroyer's spire. War was sent to slay Tiamat, the bat queen. Conquest was to take on the Greiver. Pestilence made quick work of the Stygian. And finally, Death was to tear out the heart of Straga. They gathered back to the prison after 72 grueling hours. They presented their respective hearts to the Blood Lord. "Hehe..... you have proven your worth, horsemen." Samael chuckled.   "Straga has told me things about you....... you lied to us. The hearts were unneeded in our journey." said the Pale Rider. "I was sure that this would happen.... regardless, I shan't go back on my word. Enter the portal, the four of you, and you will face your greatest challenge yet...... I guarantee you that." Samael was unfazed by the horsemen's discovery of the truth. Each stepped in. only to be greeted by the sky, and an abrupt falling sensation, followed by them blacking out.............. Two hours of falling had past, and the four brothers had finally woken up, in a strange village, resembling the Third Kingdom a great deal. First to get up was Pestilence, his scrawny frame somehow supporting the spiked greaves and gauntlets that adorned him. Death came around next, his thin yet muscular body supporting the minimal armor he bore. War and Conquest were the last two. The latter easily flying up, with the use of his wings, resembling an angel's. His armor, if you could call it that, was a simple robe with a golden chainmail suit under it. War, being the strongest of the four, easily made it to his feet, even with the steel plates weighing at least 50 pounds, and armor covering him nearly head to toe.   "Ruin!" He called.......... nothing.   "Ruin!" He tried again. Still no response. This could mean one of two things. Ruin is not in this realm, or he is too far from him to be called. He assumed this was true for the other three steeds as well. Now it was time to check their surroundings. It was a....... colorful world. The most outstanding thing though, were the residents that surrounded them. They were very small horses, not even that........ ponies would be a better word. They were clad in armor that seemed loosely based off of the spartan armor. "HALT!" The horned one barked. "and state your name and business."   "I speak for all of us when I say your hostility will be met with death." War sneered.   "By order of the Princesses, we demand you drop your weapons!"  This made War draw his ChaosEater. "you think you stand a chance against the end of all existence? Think again, pony." War said. They clearly had no idea who they were dealing with. He swung his sword to what appeared to be the leader, only for it to be met with a scythe.   "Brother," Death interjected, "we are not to make enemies in this realm, not yet. They may end up helpful if we are to ever return to Earth." his insight was correct, as out stepped an armorless pony with a blue mane and tail. "Guards, lay down your weapons, that's an ORDER. They don't seem to have malicious intent, besides the red one." This made the mentioned horseman roll his pupilless eyes. "I think we got off to a rocky start. Hello, I am Shining Armor, captain of the Equestrian Royal Guard. Who are you?" He asked with a sheepish smile.   "I am Conquest, bringer of a new age." the white rider began,   "I am Pestilence, bringer of disease." said the green rider   "I am Death, and you should graduate kindergarten if you can't guess what I'm the bringer of" the pale rider snapped   "And I am WAR, bringer of CHAOS. I warn you, challenging the horsemen is a suicide mission." the red clad Nephilim barked. "Well, er, now that we have introductions out of the way, I would humbly ask you to follow us to the Princesses." Armor inquired.   "Depends, pony, are these the rulers of........ wait, what in the Nine Circles is this place anyway?" War demanded.   "Er- well, you're in Ponyville, on the planet Equestria." the pony in question answered, trying not to anger the strange creature that stood before him.    "Equestria? Let me guess, your planet is inhabited mainly by horses." Death said.   "And don't mind my temperamental brother, he can have a rather short fuse. I have yet to meet a mortal figure of royalty. Lead the way." And so, the group began their trip to Canterlot, that is, until they came face to face with a Chimaera.    "Huh.... I always thought those were myths." Conquest thought out loud. War stepped to the front of the group, Tremor Gauntlet ready. "It doesn't matter. At least I'll get a semi challenging foe." He drew Mercy, and shot with deadly accuracy in the eye. The Chimaera screamed in agony. While it was focused on its pain, it failed to notice War charging straight for it, about to send a shockwave its way.   "this just might be fun.........." punch after punch, each with boneshattering results, he thrusted his fist into its face, eventually hitting the nose. The shock went from the nose to the brain in a matter of nanoseconds. This sent pain surging throughout the mind, and soon enough, the Chimaera collapsed on the ground, all life drained from its one good eye.   "W-what was THAT?!" Shining asked, a dash of urgency in his voice.   "That, pony, is the Tremor Gauntlet. Capable of breaking bones at its weakest, and causing earthquakes unrestrained."   ".......... I think you should join the guard, we're low on troops, and what we have is honestly pitiful."    "I'll consider it........ I'll need some entertainment if I am to be stuck here" And so, the group continued, a mere half hour away from the royal city. //-------------------------------------------------------// Well THAT escalated quickly //-------------------------------------------------------// Well THAT escalated quickly 30 minutes had seemed like in eternity in this happy-go-lucky world. But even eternities end sometime. They had finally reached the castle, much to the fear of many civilians.   "....are they prisoners?"   "Assassins?"    "Alien royalty?" Many murmurs were heard from the crowd, but the horsemen had paid them no mind. They were intent on meeting these princesses. The doors opened. What the riders had saw nearly made them check their nonexistent glasses. It was a winged unicorn. Two of them. The white one was larger, and had a mane of pure energy, that seemed tangible nonetheless. She wore golden colored armor on her hooves and chest. The other was a bit less of a sight, but that wasn't saying much. She was dark blue, and had a mane of light blue, that didn't seem to flow like what was presumably her sister's. She too wore armor on her chest and hooves. These were the princesses, Celestia and Luna.   "Who, and what are you?" Celestia demanded.   "We are the horsemen, that's all you need to know." War retorted, with a large frown adorning his face.   "The horsemen? What the Tartaurus is that supposed to mean?" Luna asked.   "Ask no questions, filthy horse" War said, growing rather annoyed.   "FILTHY? We are the rulers of this land!" The princesses yelled in unison.   "Keep talking to the bringers of the apocalypse like that and you'll end up the rulers of nothing but your GRAVE." War practically screamed the last word out.    "Quiet now, brother. As the Third Kingdom said, 'first impression has to be your very best'." Death said.    "The only impression I need to leave is a fist in their eye socket!" War retorted, in a rather hostile manner. He charged toward Celestia, ChaosEater drawn, ready to paint the room with her blood. To one who had seen his build, they would think it impossible for him to move so fast. The Sun deity was hit with the flat of the blade, causing her face to fall toward the ground at an accelerated speed.    "Stay down if you know what's good for you. I haven't even begun to tap into my inner anger." The princess really didn't have a choice in the matter, as the blow had knocked her unconscious.    "Heh, I must admit, it's impressive. A medium strength blow from the ChaosEater and all she did was faint. Most would be bleeding profusely." the red rider teased. "WAR!" Pestilence barked.   "ARE YOU TRYING TO GET US IMPRISONED?" War was quick to respond.    "No, brother. I am simply teaching these pathetic beings their place."    "and you're going to get the Council on our ass in the process! We may suffer the same fate as the bastard who sent us here!" Pestilence had a feeling that the bringers of EARTH'S apocalypse destroying another world before the seals were broken would not go well with the Charred Council. The Creator, for all they know, could send them to the 9th Circle! Freezing for eternity did not sound like a good fate for anyone, much less some of the most powerful beings to ever serve the Council. "Wh-what hast thou done?" Luna was, for lack of a better phrase, shocked and angered. "Th-thou hast hurt my sister...." Her mane was turning golden, and her eyes aquamarine. "rrrrrRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGH!!!!!!" She let out, splitting the four's ears. She had realised the legend, and had become the first super pony in over 3 millennium.   "THOU WILST PAY FOR THY WRONGDOINGS, HORSEMEN! YOU SHALL FEEL THE WRATH OF ALL TARTAURUS!" War just scoffed. He instinctively called for Ruin, which, to his surprise, actually listened this time! But there was something strange about him. He was a tad smaller, and the symbols that were carved onto his neck were all located on his flank. His hooves seemed to just blend in with the fur around them, and the craziest things....... he had a horn and a pair of wings?   'not good' he thought. But there was no time to think, Luna was charging at him, and Ruin had taken to the sky. 'ah, whatever, War, roll with it' He grabbed the Crossblade and the two alicorns charged toward each other, fixed on eachother's lives. He threw the blade, which surprisingly bounced off of her newly acquired aura that he just now noticed. He never was very perceptive. He guessed that Mercy would do a better job. He unholstered the four barreled supernatural pistol, and started firing off almost 13 rounds per second. These simply stuck in the aura for a few seconds, then were flung back at him. Ruin was quick to dodge. War decided that maybe projectiles weren't the best idea. He closed in on Luna, and jumped off. To his surprise, he passed right through the barrier, grabbing her by the neck, and slamming her down to the ground. He equipped his Tremor Gauntlet and began mercilessly beating her until she started to gash out blood. He was ready to deliver the final blow, until a small scythe collided with the gauntlet.   "Stop." Death intervened. Luna had powered down at this point, and was back in blue.   "Why in The Creator's name SHOULD I?" War growled.   "Because, brother, they were simply filled with fear. Surely you would have done the same in their place, had an unknown creature invaded one of the Kingdoms." War took a second to think...... he put the gauntlet in back into his armor, and stood up. He turned away from Luna, and the just-now-waking-up Celestia, murmuring something.   "I am sorry.........." he said.   "Y-you nearly.... ki-k-killed us!" Celestia scowled.   "If I had wanted to end your life you'd've been dead within seconds." War was still very quiet.   "Th-that doesn't excuse it, h-horseman."   "Do you want me to bring chaos to this realm?!" He was suddenly much louder.   "........." both princesses were silent.   "Regardless, we cannot let this go unpunished, you will have to prove that you mean what you said."    "And how am I to do that?" War inquired. "There is a wave of killings going throughout Equestria. It started in Fillydelphia, then Manehatten, and it is nearing our kingdom. We don't know what is causing this." Celestia said, her serious face on.   "You want me to stop whoever or whatever is causing this?" War asked.   "That is exactly your mission. You are to do it alone, without the aid of your siblings. We cannot drag them into something they did not warrant to themselves."    "Very well, where is this journey going to take me?" To be bloody continued..........
