I was a sad kid few friends,no family ive been just living in a abandoned warehouse untill im offered a new chance but first secnce im 11 back to school.

Note:this takes place a later time then my other story, "My new life."

Frak school!

So lets all get this straight I'm going to elementary school, but before you feel all bad for me saying 'Why do you have to go to school and this is awful.' well this is why... this is best for me.

For one thing, I'm in a world full of techno-colored ponies and I now live in a city called Manehattan. I start school tomorrow and I am hoping to make a lot friends even though I'm not a pony. I've already made a friend her name is Babs Seed. She has been so far kind of shy, and told me bad story about this place. She is going to the same school as me, and told me there are bullies everywhere, but I just told her I can handle it.

She just shook her head and I took it as a note to keep in my head then we went walking around. Basically she was giving me a tour, and seemed to be really nice... hopefully we'll both make it through this year without to much trouble, but who knows with the homeless kid around anything is possible.

The next day:

I woke up in Babs' CMC clubhouse or the abandoned warehouse near her house, clubhouse or the abandoned warehouse near her house, since I didn't have a house, she is letting me stay her for a while. First things first clothes, I decided to wear brown running shoes, blue jeans, along with three layers of clothing under my plaid button up, and jacket on top. I grabbed my lunch bag and left through the window only to see Babs, but she was talking to some other ponies one mare and two stallions.

The mare said "Where's the money twerp!"

Babs looks scared and squeaked out. "I...I don't have any money... leave me alone."

They began to look angry at her answer. "Give us your lunch money brat or you now what will..."

"Hey!" I shouted as I step in between them knowing this wasn't going anywhere good.

"The lady said leave her alone."

The unknown mare looked at me in shock and shouted. "Whats that thing!"

Babs just looks just as shocked.

"My names Carter and I'm not letting you do anything to my friend." I step in front of Babs to protect her.

"Rocky, Blaze, get rid of this clown." The mare shouted to the stallions standing there with her. They immediately try to hit me, but I countered his attack with an uppercut to the red one. The one who must have been Rocky, then perseated to grab a small knife from his saddlebags.

"Don't hurt him." Babs cried from behind me.

He was about to slash at me, but I blocked with my left arm and countered with a right hook making him drop his knife. He wasn't ready to give up though and tried to uppercut cut me, but somehow I managed to dodge it, and counter again with a hit from my lucky lefty. He fell to the ground on his side.

"Is that all you got?" I yelled as Babs stood there in shock, but the other bully looked at me.

"You... you'll pay for this clown." The mare growled through her teeth at me as her friends started getting up and ran away leaving her to chase after them.I looked at Babs who was crying, her green eyes had a slight red tint now from her tears, before she proceeded jump and tackle me to the ground while wrapping her hooves around my neck. She buried her head into my chest and continued to sob as she spoke.

"I'm sorry... I should have helped you... I was so scared." She cried softly into my chest soaking my coat a little. I soon wrapped my arms around her holding her tight against my chest and petting her soft red mane to calm her down.

"Shh... its okay, I wasn't going to let them push my friend around. I'm just glad your okay." I whispered gently into her ear. She slowly unwrapped her hooves from around me and helped me stand up.

"Alright lets get to..." I look at my watch.

"Oh No! Frak! We're going to be late for the first day of school!" I shouted before both of us ran as fast as we could to school.

'Thank Celestia! It's not to far.' I thought as we rushed towards the school building.

Alright, now its lunch time, but first let me tell you something I think this school is okay. I'm surprised all we did was play and talk about expectations for all of us so it is simple so far. Also in class I caught Babs looking at me with odd eyes, but when she realized I was looking she would blush and looked away. I keep wondering what that was about... oh well back to lunch.

Me and Babs were walking towards a empty table as we talked to each other. "So Carter why did you come here?" Babs asked I looked down at the ground sadly.

"I was hoping for a better life." I told her she looked at me concerned.

"Why would you look for a better life didn't you have family?" I remembered my family, but only the fire that hurt my heart.

"Well... My family is...gone." I felt tears in my eyes but managed to pull myself together.

"Oh Carter I'm so sorry." Babs said sadly.

I looked at her as we sat at the little lunch table.

"You couldn't have know Babs. My family may be gone, but I have a friend who's helping me through this I pointed to Babs who blushed and looked away.

"Carter I...." She trailed off thinking for the right words, but then I told her it was okay.

Soon I heard a voice from behind me. "Hi can we sit here"? I looked behind me to see a mare and a stallion.

"Of course" I smiled as they sat down at the table with me and Babs.

The stallion was the first to speak up. "Nice to meet you. I'm Star Shooter."

That was a good name considering he was a pegasus and the mare was a unicorn. She spoke next after a moment. "My name is Julie." I smiled at them.

"Well its nice to meet you. I'm Carter and this," I pointed to Babs "Is Babs Seed." She said hi shyly only to noticed that they had no cutie marks. "Hey you two don't have cutie marks!" I said excitedly.

"Babs here is a blank flank too! She's been wanting to start a group called the Cutie Mark Crusaders here! Would you two like to join in and adventure together with us? We are trying to get your marks!"

They sat there thinking for a second before answering. "Actually... yeah that sounds like fun tell me were and I will be there!" said Star excitedly.

I smiled and asked the mare. "What about you Julie?"

I look towards her giving a bright smile before she too answered. "Yes! I'm in! I've always wanted my cutie mark and this might be the best way we can earn it."

I grinned at and Babs was so happy she smiled right back at me. "Alright, meet me and Carter at that abandoned warehouse near the school. Were remodeling it so we can start the group."

They both nodded in agreement. "Alright we have a plan..." We were interrupted by a ringing. It was the school bell... I groaned in frustration, but knew we had are plans and we all agreed to go to my new home so we all went back to class happy for what's to come later.Now if your wondering how I got them to join I just read the books from my old home after my parants died they had alot of good books.

Note this is a flashback also its been a week sense chapter 2.

"Ugh my head." I held a hand to my head it felt like a bomb was exploding in my head I then got up looking around

"Hmm...." I thought man my life is bad but for now I got to make with what I have and leave this town and start a new life. "But were do I go?"

"I know were." A voice said I jumped scared of who that was.

"Who are you?" It giggled lightly

Something then teleports infront of me it was a pony with white fur a crown and glass slippers "Are you Carter?"

I looked up at her "Uh yes."

She smiled at me "Ive been watching you for the past 2 years living alone in this warehouse with no one to hug or tuck you in at night ."

She looked down at me sadly "Why are you hear what do you want from me?"

She smiled at me "I want to give you a new start with my little ponys."

I looked at her shocked "A new start!?!?"

She nods "Yes Carter we but first you need education." (Oh no)

"You mean school?" She nods again

"I guess that makes sense so were do I go?" She puts a hoof to her chin

"Manehattan would be a good start you will I will teleport you there but first grab your stuff."

"Ok." I go and grab my backpack and my dad's gutar dad....I miss my family so much but the tought me how to servive and im going to make this my chace to make them proud I then grab my 2 wepions a glock 17 and a small pocket knife I then grab my notebook and write a message for my friends to read I go to her and nod showing her I was ready and in a flash of light I saw big streets and long narrow roads.

(End of flashback)

"Thats how I ended up here any questions? I see Julie raise her hoof "Julie?" She thinks for a sec and asks

"Who were your friends back on um.... Earth?" I thought for a sec

"Well there was Vince a business man who gave me the small warehouse to live in sense the only house he had available was owned by Lee a nice guy we bonded over our pasts." She noded

"Any more questions?" Babs raised her hoof "Yes Babs?"

I noted a small shade of pink on her face "Did...did you ever get a uhh filly friend or girlfriend as you call it." I blushed with embarrassment while I heard giggling from Julie and a short chuckle from Star

"No I never had a girlfriend but you can probably guess why." They all gave me a confused look Babs was first to speek up

"Why? Your so nice to everyone." Star and Julie noded in agreement but I shook my head

"I'm not always so nice remember Babs before the first~~" I heard a babs say that shoked me

"No! You have been the only thing here that has been helping me here your the niceness pony I've ever met." I was shocked i've never been praised like that before I blushed hard and looked away smiling once I reganed myself I asked

"Ok anymore questions?"They shook there heads "Ok CMC'S Are you all ready to start working on this warehouse!" They all said

"Yes sir." I started thinking what we would change it into but I wasn't sure

"Babs do you think we should change it to look like your cousins clubhouse?" She put a hoof to her chin "Yeah we should but make it with our own flar "We all nodded

"Do you have a pic of the clubhouse? I asked She noded and ran to her house real quickly to get it and returned a few minutes later with the pic it was simple two floors few windows and a door that looked like a medeval door that went up and down.

"Ok can we do this?" They all nodded and went to work.

(3 hours later)

"Ok were done does it look close?" Babs noded

"It looks close I think were done for today everypony dismissed."

We noded and Julie and Star left Babs came over to me and smiled brightly

"Thank you Carter we couldn't have done this without you." She then hug me which I returned we both blushed and smiled

"Are you ok? Your blushing hard." She then kisses my cheek I blushes so hard my face is burning she also blushes but not as hard

"I been wanting to tell you I liked you but I wasn't sure how to tell you I know i'm not a human but I wanted to be your first fillyfriend i'm just not sure if you would say yes but do you really want to be with me?" I was shocked she had feeling for me I've never had a girlfriend or fillyfriend but I have never been so happy to be loved by a cute girl.

"Does this answer your question?

I kiss her on the lips,Her lips were sweet and then I could feel her kiss back passionately she was crying tears of joy she wrapped her front hooves around my neck while I wraped my armes around her waist the kiss lasted for a whole minute and then we pulled away Babs smiled happily and gave me a kissed my cheek.

"Im so happy you said yes that was my first kiss and it was so worth it." I smiled back and kissed her forehead.

"I hope this relationship will work out." She smiled and layed her head on my chest yawning lightly.

"It will work I know it." I was confused if she was going to stay in the clubhouse and sleep on me or will she go back home.

"Hey you should get going home." She shook her head

"No tonight i'm sleeping with my boyfriend and that means im staying right her." My heart melted at her words so I pick her up and take her to my bed we them lay together in eachothers arms I smiled sleepy.

"Goodnight Babs I love you."

"Goodnight Carter I love you too ."

I closed my eyes and had only one thought on my mind "What do we tell the others?"
