Just another day in Ponyville, Equestria. Birds chirping, sun shining, until- suddenly, a Sonic Rainboom occurs! Every pony is wondering who caused it, thinking it was a visit from the Wonderbolts, when Rainbow Dash soars out of the sky! Every pony applauded her- except for Derpy. Instead, Derpy is laying on a cloud passed out! Coincidentally Pinkie Pie happens to be floating on a hot air balloon when this happens, sees Derpy, and shouts, "WE HAVE AN EMERGENCY!" Naturally, every pony starts to panic, but when they ask what happens, she says, "WE'VE GOT A PASSED OUT DERP!", all of the ponies go back to what they're doing. No one pays any mind to Derpy, and when Pinkie Pie asked Rainbow Dash, "Why don't the ponies care about her?" , Rainbow Dash said "Pinkie. She's Derpy. She's not worth it. She was only put into Equestria to destroy everything and make herself look like a fool." "But she still matters!" Pinkie points out. " Pinkie Pie! Don't worry about it! Derpy has severe mental problems! Even more severe than YOURS!" "That bad?", asks Pinkie, then a few seconds later yells "HEY!" Suddenly Derpy wakes up. "Where am I?" She asks herself. "WHO am I?" She doesn't realize she's on a cloud and rolls off, onto the ground with a loud thud. " OW!" "Oh hey Derpy!" Scootaloo says as she and the other two Crusaders walk by. "Pardon? Who's Derpy?" "Derpy says, confused. "You are. I knew you weren't the brightest but Jeez!" Said Sweetie Belle. "Sweetie?" Apple Bloom scolds her. "Who the hay is Derpy? And who am I?" Derpy says, frustrated. "You're Derpy. Aren't you? Are you feeling well?" "I don't know who I am, where I am, or anything at all! Does that sound well?" " I take it you're insisting not." Said AppleBloom. "We'll I guess you don't know who you are, so you can be anyone you want!" Said Sweetie Belle. "Kids, that's ridiculous." Derpy said. "Sorry we tried to help then." Said Scootaloo. They were very offended, yet surprised. Derpy definitely seemed different. Then it hit them. Derpy has been unDERPified! Later that day, Derpy helplessly walked around wondering who she was. She then saw Pinkie Pie. "Do you know who I am?", she asked. " Well you appear to be Derpy", Pinkie says,
"Unless you AREN'T Derpy." "I'm not! I don't know who I am!" Cried Derpy. "Well you can be Sally!" "Who's Sally?" Asked Derpy. "Maybe YOU'RE Sally!" Pinkie gleefully shouted." Well I better go back to Sugarcube Corner! I sort of left a cake in the oven and I may have burnt the place down!" Pinkie said and trotted back. "Maybe I AM Sally!" Derpy said to herself. "Maybe I am."
Derpy didn't know where her own home, so she just found her way to Sugarcube Corner and was about to ask Pinkie if she could stay for the night. Sweet aromas filled the air. Pinkie walked in and smiled at Derpy. "Oh hey Sally! So apparently I didn't leave a cake in the oven! I left a cake in Twilights oven!" "Who's Twilight?" Asked Derpy. "Oh right, you don't know anyone! Twilight is my magical purple friend!" Derpy envisioned a fuzzy violet-colored monster casting evil spells on everyone. "Oh. Okay..." She said. "I like you Sally!" Said Pinkie. "I like you too, umm... Err... You never told me your name!" "Oh I didn't? How silly of me! I'm Pinkie Pie! Pinkie to friends!" "Nice to meet you Pinkie!" Said Derpy. "So I was wondering if I could stay with you for the night, if its not a problem..." " YOU MEAN A SLEEPOVER?" Pinkie shouted, face lighting up like a pumpkin on Halloween night. "YAYY A SLEEPOVER!!!!!!" Pinkie said. "Great!" Said Derpy. "I just have to ask my family!" Pinkie said. " Ah, what the hay. Lets get you unpacked!" "But I don't have any belongings." Said Derpy. "Well where do you live?" Pinkie asked. She thought to herself. Where did this Sally come from? "I'm not sure." Derpy said. "It's okay. Tomorrow I'll throw you a welcome party! I just LOVE PARTIES!" Said Pinkie. It's gonna be a lllooonnnggg night, thought Derpy.
