The sunlight hit my eyes, waking me to my life. My room is lit up as it usually is this time of the morning. The colours of my walls and carpet dance with each other as they anticipate my awakening. I have always been a morning person, for me it is a moment of peace before I have to go out into the world and face what ever it throws at me. The moments like these are seldom interrupted but this time it was, but the sound of my brother getting home. It is not odd for my brother to stay out late on account of his job, but I have never known him to get back this late. The front door brings in the breeze and he walks in. He simply smiles and nods to me, we never talk much, he works too much for us to be able to talk much. I lay there for a few minutes after he closes my door and walks off to the couch where I hear the thud of him collapsing, we have a small house with only one bedroom, since he spends most of his time working his two jobs he gave me the bedroom.
I make my way to the shower sneaking past my brother, he snores and sleeps heavily so It's not hard. Showers have always been nice for me, the mornings are always cold around here and the shower feels like a liquid blanket warped around my body as I scrub myself clean. Only three quarters of an hour before my bus arrives so I just have time to fit and an episode of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic while I put some make-up on and get dressed.
Arriving at school is like walking on stage, a thousand eyes glaring at me, judging me point out my flaws. All I can do is put in my ear phones and hide under my hair as I walk through the crowds to my next lesson. It's like this all day until I finally get off the bus and head home. Thankfully, today was the last day of school, so I have six weeks of relaxation before the new year. When I arrived at home as usual my brother's car was gone, off to his second job, he won't be back until tomorrow, but that doesn't bother me I wanted to go and surf the My Little Pony Forums, and I will be doing just that all holidays. I walk up to the front door, and to to unlock it, but as I grab the knob the door opens and catches me off guard. This would have scared me, but if the door is pulled shut too fast it bounces back before the bolt can keep it closed, my brother has been meaning to fix it, but he never has time. Our neighbourhood is a quiet one and is mainly old people, so we're not afraid.

That Feeling You're Being Watched ~ Chapter 2 ~
I throw my bag on the floor, and grab my laptop and switch it on. But there is that famous feeling that everyone has gotten, the feeling of being watched, I shrug it off, no way anyone could be watching me, my curtains are always closed. I type in my password and the computer whirs as it logs me in. I can't shake the feeling so I humour myself and look around my room, something catches my eye, something yellow in my wardrobe, strange, I don't own any yellow clothing. Maybe my brother bought me a dress? No, that's not right, why would be buy me a dress? I get up to investigate, pulling the door open and looking inside. No, this can't be right. I blink my eyes trying to convince myself that I've gone completely mad. There, in my wardrobe amongst the mess of clothes lay a pegasus, not just any pegasus either, her colors and cutie mark confirm that this is Fluttershy. Her hooves covering her eyes shivering and whimpering. I can't believe my eyes, how could I? They're telling me a story that sounds insane!
I close the door and turn around. I close my eyes and take a deep breath, then turn back to the wardrobe. Opening the door slowly and peaking inside, still there. I see her peak back at me, then hiding beneath her hooves as if all will go away if she can't see it. Actually when I think about it, she's probably feeling how Twilight was in Equestria Girls, except worse! I reach in to touch her, she tenses up, so I retract my hand. I can hear her crying. Oh god, what do I do? How does someone handle a situation like this?
It hits me all at once, she looks just like how I feel when someone new tries to talk to me I shut down, it feels like my throat is being crushed, like someone has taken a hold of my lungs and is gripping my heart and playing with it. I can't breathe, I can't speak, I become sweaty, and all I want the person to do is leave me alone. I shut the door one last time and sit on my bed with my face in my hands. What is going on?
